AN: Here's another quick chapter! Hope y'all enjoy it!

"Hey, so it's not just Americans who are vanishing. Uh, this guy, Luigi Ponzi disappeared walking between two subway cars in Rome. And right above ground, there was a freak hail storm," Sam says from where he's sitting at the table in front of the computer. Gracilynn is lying on her stomach on Dean's bed, playing on her phone.

"So, we going to Rome?" Dean asks from where he's washing his face in the bathroom. "Wouldn't be too shabby."

"Yeah, except you actually gotta get on a plane dad," Gracilynn says with a smirk. A glance over at Sam sees that he's smirking as well.

"Hello, Dean," a voice says from the bathroom and Gracilynn and Sam look over in the direction. They both push themselves to their feet and hurry over to the bathroom only to stop in their tracks. In front of them stands Castiel; all three Winchesters are staring at him with wide eyes.

"How…? When…?" Dean stutters out but doesn't finish his sentences.

"As much as I love seeing you Cas, maybe we all should get out of the bathroom?" Gracilynn offers and the other three nod their heads in agreement. The three hunters and angel move out of the bathroom and into the hotel room. Sam and Castiel take a seat at the table. Dean moves over towards the kitchenette and leans up against the counter. Gracilynn moves towards the bed between the table and kitchenette and sits on the floor, resting her back on the bed behind her. She bends one leg and rests an arm on it while the other lies straight in front of her.

"Unbelievable, man. I… I cannot believe it. You're actually here," Sam says with wide eyes watching Cas as if he'll disappear if Sam looks away.

"Yeah, I've been trying to reach out, but for whatever reason, I wasn't at full power. So I couldn't connect with you," Cas explains as he looks over at Sam.

"That must have been why you kept seeing him. I mean, you think?" Sam asks with a look over at his brother, his stare on Cas finally broken. Dean shrugs his shoulders.

"Yeah. Yeah, uh, I got to be honest. I… I… I'm thinking, how the hell did you make it out? I mean, I… I was there. I… I… I know that place. I know how we had to scratch and claw and kill and bleed to find that portal and make it through it, and it almost finished me. So, uh… so how exactly are you sitting here with us right now?" Dean stutters out, his gaze shifting from Sam to Cas. Gracilynn watches her dad and Cas, trying to pick up on anything that might help her to solve this mystery.

"Dean, everything you just said is completely true. And that's the strange part. I… have no idea. I remember endlessly running and hiding from Leviathan, and then I was on the side of the road in Illinois. And… that was it," Cas says with a shake of his head and his gaze fixed on Dean.

"And that… that was it?" Dean asks not entirely sure if he believes this.

"Yes," Cas says and Gracilynn narrows her eyes at him. Something was off by this whole thing but Cas seems to be telling the truth so she's not sure. Cas looks down at his clothes and body. "Oh. I'm dirty."

"Yeah, well, Purgatory will do that to you," Dean says, watching as Cas moves back towards the bathroom.

"Dean?"

"Huh?" Dean asks in return, turning around and looking over at his brother.

"You all right?" Sam asks his older brother.

"You do see something…" Dean begins before moving over to the table and sitting opposite Sam, "…severely wrong here, right? Sammy, I remember every second of leaving that place. I mean, I remember the… the heat, the stink, the pain, the fear. I have the whole ugly mess…"

Dean taps his head and Sam watching him closely. Gracilynn shoves herself to her feet and moves over towards the table as well. Dean continues on with his monologue.

"…right here, and he says he has no idea how he got out? I… I'm just not buying it."

"So what, you think he's lying?" Sam asks and he furrows his brow, thinking about this.

"He seems to be telling the truth. His eyes definitely weren't hiding anything. And you heard him. He remembers Purgatory, just not how he got out," Gracilynn puts in and Sam nods his head.

"I'm saying something else happened. I saw the shape that he was in. I mean, there was no way he was fighting his ass out alone. No way," Dean explains, his gaze shifting between Sam and Gracilynn.

"All right. So, who… or what got him out?" Sam asks with a glance at the closed bathroom door.

"Exactly," Dean says with a raised eyebrow.

"Gut instinct says nothing good," Gracilynn replies with pursed lips. She looks over at the bathroom door when it opens and Cas walks out of it. He's wearing a suit and tie under the trench coat. His clothes are clean and his face is neatly shaved. Dean and Sam sit up in their seats and Gracilynn straightens her back.

"Better?" Cas asks as he spreads his arms out wide. Sam offers Cas a smile before turning to Dean and Gracilynn. They glance at Sam and then turn to Cas, giving him a smile as well, nodding their heads.

Gracilynn looks up from where she hanging upside down on the bed; her feet to her waist lying on the bed and her waist up hanging over the side, her head resting on the floor. Cas is sitting on a chair in the middle of the room watching TV while Sam is sitting at the table using his laptop. Dean has walked into the room with a six-pack of beer in his hand. He notices Gracilynn and smirks, his eyes dancing in humor.

"What's the latest?" he asks Sam, his eyes still watching his daughter who has returned her attention to the TV screen.

"The latest is… nothing. It's like it all stopped. No freak disappearances linked to any freak natural events," Sam replies with a shake of his head and a sigh of aggravation. Dean walks over and sets a beer on the table in front of Sam and leans over his brother's shoulder to get a good look at the laptop.

"What's with that?" Dean asks with a nod towards Gracilynn earning a snort from Sam.

"I told her to come at the information with a different perspective," Sam says with a shake of his head. Dean chuckles and glances over at his daughter before looking back at the computer screen.

"So, how many have we got, seven?" he asks as his eyes skim over the information on the screen.

"Yeah, uh, Luigi, Justin, Aaron, Maria…" Sam answers with a glance at his notes.

"Maria, Dennis, Krista, Sven," Cas finishes distractedly, his eyes glued to the screen. Dean and Sam look over at him and Gracilynn picks her head up slightly to get a better look at the angel a few feet from her. "I missed television."

"Wait, Cas. How did you know those are the names?" Sam asks with a furrowed brow and turning his body in his chair to face Cas better.

"Well, they're prophets," Cas says in a matter-of-fact tone, his eyes still staring at the screen. The three hunters share a look before looking back at Cas.

"Prophets?" Dean asks, arching an eyebrow at Cas.

"Yeah, angels instinctively know the names of every prophet… past, present, and future," Cas says with a nod. Gracilynn scowls at the fact Cas hasn't looked at them yet.

"So, this list is the name of every one of 'em that exists?" Dean asks, his eyes widening slightly but they're still watching Cas closely.

"Yes," Cas says with a nod. "…Until the next generation is born. Plus Kevin Tran, of course. The other seven…"

Cas stops abruptly when the TV turns off. Turning around, he looks at Dean and Sam and then, over at Gracilynn who is now on her stomach and setting the remote on the bed next to her. Cas purses his lips but continues with what he was saying.

"The other seven are future prophets, since, uh, only one can exist at a time."

"Uh, how is Kevin a prophet if Chuck is a prophet?" Sam asks, his face scrunched up in confused.

"I'm not sure what happened to Chuck, but, um… he must be dead," Cas says with a look at each of the Winchesters.

"So, the next one comes off the bench if Kevin goes down?" Dean asks, the wheels in his head turning as he's trying to put all of the puzzle pieces together.

"Exactly. And they have no idea who they are, of course," Cas adds in, his gaze shifting between the hunters once again.

"Crowley," Sam suddenly says and looks pointedly at Dean.

"Insurance. Boy, he's getting desperate," Dean says with a sigh and a shake of his head.

"Guess we're doing our job," Gracilynn says with a smirk and an arched eyebrow.

"Explains all the weird phenomena. Lower-level demons nabbing heavy-duty cargo. The vessels of God's Word… boom," Sam puts in as well.

"I get the feeling something's going on," Cas says as he thinks about everything, his eyes looking off in the distance.

"You think?" Gracilynn asks with a roll of her eyes as Sam's phone begins ringing.

"Hello. Mrs. Tran?" Sam answers the phone after realizing who it is. He glances over at Dean and Gracilynn, listening to Mrs. Tran talking on the other end of the line before speaking up again. "Well, where the hell have you… what?"

Sam stands up suddenly and his eyes widen. Dean's eyebrows pinch together and Gracilynn shoves herself to her bottom and watches Sam intensely. Something wasn't right; she can tell by her uncle's voice. Sam pulls the phone away from his ear and looks at Dean and Gracilynn before explaining.

"Crowley's got Kevin."
