At the cave Edward's POV
It felt like it had been 30 to 40 minutes before Lilith stop making the transmutation circle. She walked back to the group. Ed could hear her walking slowly. Ed hated how there was nothing he could do to stop Lilith. Every plan he thought could get someone killed or turned. Lilith stopped behind Ed's chair. She pulled on Ed's braid which was still intact. Lilith pulled Ed's head back enough so that Ed was now looking at Lilith. Ed remains calm. Ed knew Lilith well enough that if he start to panic then he would be giving Lilith exactly what she wanted.
"Ed you of all people should know what I was doing in the back". Lilith said with a dark tone of voice.
"You're making a transmutation circle why". Ed said trying to hide the pain in his voice.
Lilith let go of Ed's hair and walked in front of him.
"To make a bloodstone one must use the ancient form of alchemy. One that can only be used by the vampire and that is because when alchemy with first introduced to society vampires didn't know they could use it. So they took the human alchemy and changed it just enough so that they could use it. Later vampires realize that they could use the human alchemy so they abandoned it. A lot of vampires don't even know that it still exists. That is why". Lilith said.
Lilith walked away from Ed. she was walking to the tunnel.
"You will see my work soon enough but for now you just have to wait". Lilith said in the same dark tone that she used earlier. Then she disappeared into the tunnel.
At the office Al's POV
Al was still sitting on the nice leather couches. Al looked up to the clock that was handing in Roy's office. It was 11:48 A:M. Al only read a couple books. He was about to take a break when a little black book caught his eyes. Al picks it up and turned to the first page. Al knew instantly that it was his brother's handwriting.
Al I wrote you this book to tell you things that I might never be able to say out loud. Today I found that I was no longer human. That I am a mystical creature called a vampire. This is why I can't go out in the sun. Al wanted to tell you so badly but I don't want to hurt you. I don't know if I can keep the monster side of me in check. I am scared to tell anyone. Mustang doesn't even know I want to keep it that way. Al I am a monster and I had killed someone. I found out the reason why I got to shot it was so that I could turn. The person that pulled the trigger with a girl named Lilith. She has long black hair and she looks like she's 14. She is killed a lot of people. I'm so sorry Al that I can't tell you in person.
That was the first of many entries in the little black book that Al was holding. Al was shaking. He didn't know what to think. The handwriting in the little black was definitely Ed's handwriting but the things that were said in the book were hard to believe. Al felt sad for His brother couldn't tell him something this big but it felt like he should be there for his brother. Especially when Ed told Al that he killed someone. Al knew Ed and if Ed killed someone then he would be torn apart inside. Al flipped a couple pages a head. Al begins to read again.
I've been going to the library. I want to find a way to become human again. I woke up feeling like something bad was going to happen and it did. Lilith tried to kill Mustang. It was so that the military could stop the patrol. If I didn't get there in time Mustang would be dead right now. Mustang was really close to finding out what I am but now he knows that Lilith was the one that killed those people.
Lilith is the first killer Hughes would want to know that. Al thought himself.
Al felt sad for his brother. He has to find a way to become human again just like Al. Al sighed and flipped a couple more pages ahead.
I'm so pissed at the colonel bastard he was following me after what happened with Lilith. There was this lady that got shot there was blood everywhere. I couldn't hold back the monster inside of me and I kill that lady right in front of Mustang. Then he started to ask a whole lot of questions so I lied to him but he knew that I was lying. So Mustang knows what I am.
If Al could cry he would. Ed has been in so much and Al was just learning about it now. Al thought about what he just read. Al never heard about Lilith but from what his brother was telling him about her. Lilith could be that one that kidnapped all of them. Al closes book and got up. Al walked out of Roy's office and into the main office. He could see that there were more people in the room than just the team. Al spotted Hughes. He was at a desk looking at a map of Central with Havoc, Fury, and Breda. Al walked up to Hughes. Hughes, Havoc, Fury, and Breda all looked up when Al was walking to them.
"Have you found something Al". Hughes said.
"Yes I have. Brother was writing a journal about what had been happening". Al said as he handed Hughes the little black book.
Hughes took it opens it up. Havoc, Fury, and Breda all crowded around Hughes to see what the book was all about. A couple seconds past and Hughes close the book scaring both Fury and Breda. Havoc was standing there like he had just seen a ghost.
"Let's go into Roy's office away from always people. Havoc, Fury, and Breda come with us". Hughes said.
Havoc seems to come out of the shock that he was in and nodded his head. Hughes was walking to Roy's office. Everyone was falling behind Hughes. Hughes opened the door to Roy's office. Fury was the last one so he was the one that closed door. No one Except Hughes and Al had been in Roy's office. So when everyone got in they were surprised by how many books there was.
"What are all these books about"? Fury asked picking up one of the books and then began to read it.
"Everyone please sit on the couch as we need to talk". Hughes said.
Fury closes the book and put it down. Havoc, Breda, and Fury all walked over and were now sitting on one of the couches. Al and Hughes sat on the couch across from them.
"The reason why I told people to start looking at places where there is no sunlight because Al and I think that the kidnapper is a vampire. Al thinks that Ed is a vampire and this book tells us that it is the truth. He is a vampire". Hughes said.
"Brother also told us that there is a girl with long black hair named Lilith. She was the person that turns brother. She also tried to kill Mustang. Mustang also knows what brother is". Al said his head was down. He was not looking at anyone when he was talking.
Hughes looked at Al for a second.
"Was that in the book"? Hughes asked Al. Al never looked up but he nodded his head.
"Wait do you mean that vampires exist and Ed is one of them". Fury asked.
Al looked up to see that Fury looked a little frightened. Havoc was smoking a cigarette and Breda looked deep in thought.
"Yeah that is what we're trying to say. I don't want anyone to know this. A lot of people will think we're crazy if we start saying that vampire exist". Hughes said.
"But we have the book. We can just show them the book and they have to believe us". Breda said looking at Hughes and Al.
"We all know that vampires have to drink the blood of human to survive. If Ed had killed someone then he would go to prison it didn't matter if he was human or not. People will see him as a criminal not a state alchemist". Hughes said.
"He has killed someone". Al said quietly but everyone could hear it.
Havoc sighed and took the cigarette out of his mouth.
"If the chief kill someone then so be it. The chief did not to be a vampire in the first place right". Havoc asked Al. Al nodded his head to Havoc. "Then we should not blame him for killing plus he was staying at the Colonel's house he could've easily killed him that he didn't. Also he wrote Al a book telling us everything that has happened so far. At least that tells us that he is still the Fullmetal Alchemist, hero of the people. Ed still cares for everyone. He would never kill someone for fun. We have to save the colonel, Ed and Hawkeye because we are their friends and that is what friends do". Havoc said in a very serious tone of voice.
Everyone nodded their heads.
"What else does the book say"? Breda said.
"I haven't read a lot but brother was trying to find a way to become human again. This is why there are so books about vampires. I think that the person that you guys called the first killer is the Lilith and I think that she is the one that took them. The book doesn't actually say that but brother said that she had killed a lot of people". Al said as he looked at Hughes.
"It's possible". Hughes said." We found three locations that we think Lilith would be in. There is an old building on the outskirts of town, we have to search the sewers and we just found a cave. Some people went in there and said that it leads nowhere but we still have to go check it out. Havoc and Fury will go to the old building. Breda will go with a search party that is looking through the sewers. Al and I will go to the cave". Hughes said.
Everyone nodded their head. Everyone got up from the couches and walked out of Roy's office.
At the cave Ed's POV
After Lilith said that they would be seeing her work soon enough Ed started to panic. Ed knew that there time was going to be up soon. Ed sat there thinking about what to do next. Ed looked around to see how everyone was doing. No one said anything and everyone looked tired. Ed knew that he didn't want to sleep because the fear that he was feeling of not being able to see his friend was so strong. Lilith came in with a gun. Ed and Hawkeye looked up at Lilith. Roy looked at Lilith then to Ed with fear in his eyes. Winry didn't look at Lilith but she was shaking. Lilith pointed the gun at Roy.
"Try anything and I will shoot". Lilith said.
She walked up to Hawkeye and untied her. Then Lilith put the gun on Hawkeye's back right where her heart is.
"Walk to circle". Lilith demanded.
Hawkeye walk to the back of the room. From where Ed was sitting he cannot tell what Lilith was doing but Ed feared that he will learn soon enough.
