"Rin, wake up." Rin didn't move, her mind wonder seeing a strange life shining over her. "Wake up, my dear." Her eyes slowly blinked, raising her head up, she saw a strange woman hovering over her. Rin froze in her spot, was she dead? No, she would of felt pain.

"Who…are you?" shaking in her own fear, she didn't know what to do. The woman just gave her a small smile, reaching her hand out to touch her cheek. Rin just looked straight into her cold eyes, yet she felt like they were warm and sad.

"Don't be afraid. We have met before." Rin began to stand on her feet, she wasn't aware that she was someplace safe, but her mind must have been playing tricks on her. The woman placed her hands against her cheeks, caressing them. Rin backed away a bit, but was pulled close to her chest. A warmth feeling came to her, what was this feeling?

"We have?"

"No.." she paused herself, Rin looked up at her, her face twitched a bit. Rin moved away a bit, but not far. The woman looked straight into the girls eyes, closing them a bit and reopening them. "But a mother never forgets…" Rin's eyes widen, this couldn't be true, she didn't even look like her mother back when she was alive and living in the village.

"You cant be? My mother is-"

"I know…but the woman who took care of you was my sister. Rin." Rin looked away from the woman who claimed she was her real mother.

"Why should I believe you. If you were my mother than why send me to her, didn't you love me?" her tears were leaking down her eyes, she couldn't be help, but be confused. Was this a trick from the demon that took her? Was he trying to weaken her and prey on her? The woman reached her hand out and placed it on her shoulder, Rin didn't move.

"I was only trying to protect you. The demons were after something, I had to get Kikyo to watch you. From that I made something I shouldn't have made." Rin closed her eyes, wiping the tears that were dripping down her face. After opening them, she look back at her.

"What did you made?" she asked. The woman tilted her to the side, like she was staring at the floor.

"The Shikon no Tama…"

"The Jewel?"

"Yes, I told my sister after I have given birth to you, to give to a miko, her name was Sakura. I knew that my time was up, my soul was leaving my body and enter into the jewel. From that day, I fought everyday with the demons inside of the jewel."

"Than, why are you here?"

"I only have so much time. I am here to tell you, you are special, you aren't a normal human." Rin widened her eyes, biting her lower lip.

"I'm not?"

"You are a miko, you were born with strong spiritual powers." Rin didn't believe what she was saying, if Kikyo had spiritual powers, than why didn't she say anything to her.

"If I have..than why hadn't Rin discover them?"

"You did…when you died the second time.." She remembered seeing a light coming to her, it was pink and shining as bright as the stars in the sky at night.

"That…was..Rin's..powers?"

"Indeed, my daughter…" the woman was being surrounded by darkness. Rin reached her hand out, but when she did, she was being pulled back away from her.

"Mother!"

"You need to wake up….escape this place.." her whole body was being wrapped around by demons everywhere. Pulling herself back, Rin shouted.

"Tell me your name?" the woman curled her lip, before whispering.

"Midoriko."

The only thing that Rin saw when she look up was light shining on her face, she rose from the ground, feeling the pain that was on her face. She placed her hand on her cheek, the marks were there, she was indeed upset and angry at the demon. If her mother says she was a miko than she would try to escape. Looking down on the ground, the chains that use to be around her ankles, but now they weren't. This was her chance, she ran away from where she was, climbing up the steps and out from the floor, she ran to the door and down the halls she went. Though she thought she was free, until a something grabbed her from behind. Rin screamed, but her mouth was being covered by something gross. With the corner of her eye, she saw him.

"I do enjoy this game. Rin..tell me will you tell me?" she didn't do anything. Naraku didn't like it, even if his tentacle was being wrapped against her mouth. He still had a plan in action, he pulled her close, licking the side of her neck. She shivered, feeling so violated, "It wouldn't matter, your lord will choose one of you." he stopped for a moment, he sense intruders in his palace. "It seems I've been expecting.." dragging the little girl away from the hall. Rin could only concentrate on her so called powers. Opening the door, Kagome looked over, the blood she smelled earlier made her feel weaken inside. But when the door opened, she saw her pup, marked and full of fear. She growled, clawing the barrier that was surrounding her.

"Let her go!"

"Here." he tossed the little girl into the barrier. Kagome caught her, holding her so close against her. She was alive, her pup was alive, but how? Yet she smelled another thing, her other pup.

"Inuyasha.." she whispered, holding her pup close to her. Naraku heard her and curled his lip,

"Lets see kill the hanyou or let him live?" Kagome's eyes widen, growling at him.

"He would stay away from you!"

"Yet he isn't. Kagome." he walked passed her, reaching the cup that was filled with he blood. Walking away from her, he poured the blood onto the floor and started chanting some words. As the light came through the floor, Naraku waited for the late lady of the east to return to the living. "Once your mother comes, I will devour her and with this jewel I will take everything and make you my mate." still the problem he had was Sesshomaru, with the other pup being in the castle, two humans with him. This was going to be a problem indeed. Curling his lip and looking back, he nodded his head.

"She is strong…"

"Having doubts?"

"No!" all she heard was his chuckling. As the form of a woman was beginning to show, Naraku waited.

"Wind Scar!" everything around them was being completely engulf in light. The girls screamed, yet when Rin looked over at the person who did the damage, she smiled.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome widen her eyes, seeing her pup, he was holding the Tessaiga in his hands How was he able to do this? Where was Sesshomaru?

"Worthless half-breed!" Naraku looked over seeing the form of the miko disappearing. He growled in anger. "NO! You will pay for that!" his plan was being ruined, sending his tentacles at him. The pup jumped put of the way, and in that the neko demon came and bit off parts. Naraku moved back, the humans were there, he needed to leave.

"Let mother go!" the pup yelled. Naraku had other plans.

"As you wish." moved closer to the barrier, he pulled Kagome out. Before she could attack him, she felt her stomach pierce through, having it being spilled with miasma. Dropping her body, Naraku disappeared taking Rin with him, she screamed.

"MAMA!"

"RIN!" the pup cried out, he swung the sword, but when he did, they were gone.

"Inuyasha, come here." Hearing his mothers voice, she was surrounded by two humans,

"You must be his mother?" the woman spoke, the monk placed his hands over her stomach.

"She is weaken, the miasma is affecting her body."

"Mother.." dropping his sword on the side, he caressed his mothers face, Kagome only gave him a small smile.

"Inuy..asha.." she breath in and out, he was alive. Yet Rin was taken, everything seem to be confused. Why take the girl and not her? Why couldn't she see this coming?

"Mother…"

"Be strong…"

"Don't leave me! You promised." Kagome needed her miko powers back, yet why weren't they coming back. Her blood..staring down at the floor where her blood was, she reached her hand out to touch it. Yet when she did, nothing came..

"I wont leave…pup." the woman and the monk needed to do something but what. Kagome sniffed the air, she needed to see him, was he even alive, yet when she sniffed the air. A form shadowed over her, her lips cracked, whispering over the flying form coming down to her.

"Sesshomaru."

This was short, but at least its something, it might be confusing, but yeah. Also I will be back and forth. I have another story in mind, but for now. I will decide what I would do.
