Hey guys, sorry for the long wait. I became very busy with graduation stuff and work in the summer I've only been able to finish this chapter now. It's been a while, but I'm back and so is the next chapter. This is a long one, but there's a lot to cover. If anyone has any criticism about the chapter, feel free to pm me and I'll take your words into account.

Also, I was trying to do this before, but it never worked out, but if any of you want to see your own character in my story, I'll be more than happy to include them. All I need you to do is send me a pm telling me about your character. ie: their name, what their backstory is, what their like as a person, and if you want them to be a one off, short term or long term character.

Anyway, enjoy.

Chan's Pov.

Accardo looked at me like I had just asked him to punch himself in the face. "I'm sorry, you want me to do what?" "You heard me." I felt slightly nervous as he had more men backing him up than I did. I counted at least twenty-six of them. "What makes you think I have any women here?" he asked. "We were told about the deal you made with the group at the apartments about fifteen blocks south-east of here. I figured I should give you the chance to give them up peacefully before I'm forced to kill you and your men." He eyed us one by one. "These people don't look like killers to me." "We're not. But we're willing to change that in a flash." "Why would you do all this for strangers?" "Because it's the right thing to do. Plus their not all strangers. One of them is our friend. You would have picked her up this morning."

He looked back at his men. "Are they from that community center near the library?" "Don't think so boss." "Well I'm sorry, but I think you have the wrong place. We didn't take your girl. Now if you cou…" Ben cut him off. "She's here. Jordan knows this is the truck he shot at when they took her." He seemed slightly suspicious. "Who the h#ll is Jordan?" he looked over our group. I looked back and noticed Jordan seemed to be trying not to make eye contact with him and looked like he was anxious. "Jordan, you ok?" Anna asked him. "Quiet." he hushed her. If he was trying to go unnoticed, he had failed. Accardo focused his sights on him and stepped closer. "Do I know you?" he said looking at Jordan. "N… no. I've never seen you before." Jordan said, using a different tone than normal. "No, I know you. I recognize your mug and that name."

He got a good look at Jordan. "Wait, I got it. You're that Faltoni boy. The one who owes me fifty grand." We all looked at Jordan in disbelief. Jordan gave a grunt of defeat. "Tell you what." He say to me. "You can have the girls you came for if you hand over this slick son of a b#tch." I narrowed my eyes. "And why would I do that?" "He owed me money. We settled a day for him to pay me back and he was a no show. Funny enough it was the same day sh#t hit the fan, so I figured he was killed by the dead. But here he is. I want my payback for him not holding up his end of the deal." I knew this was a big deal to him. This could be the opportunity I was looking for. "Hand over the girls first, then you can have him." Jordan turned around. "Chan, you son of a… I thought we were friends." "We are." I looked back over at Accardo. "When we get the girls, he's all yours." I looked back at Jordan when I said the last part and nodded at him. He seemed to get where I was going with this.

"Deal." Accardo said. He motioned for one of his men to go back inside and get the girls. I was surprized it was going so easy. This peaceful exchange may just go as planned. That hope was quickly set aside when the man returned. He only brought two girls to us. "Hey, I said every girl in your custody. Where's the rest?" "I don't know what you're talking about. That's all we have." "That's a lie." Rebecca called out. "You saying I'm a liar?" "Yeah. You basically said you took another girl when you asked if we were from that place near the library." "Hmm, smart kid. Okay you caught me. We got one other girl. Figured you'd only want they're women." He said gesturing toward Quint, Gus, and Clyde. "Bullsh#t." Jordan cursed at him. "I know you have her." he said. "You got some nerve trying to imply I'm holding out on you. You're in no position to make demands. Once we're done here, I'll make you pay for what you did."

"Look, Accardo, I'm sure there's some better way to settle this. I get he owes you money, but does that really matter now that things are like the way they are?" "It's not about the money. It's about him. He's done more wrong to me than good. In fact, just as he was about to good for me, he broke my antique vase, which is why he owes me money." "What harm did he do to you?" "Let me guess, he's never really talked about his past, has he." "No he hasn't." "Well you're going to wish he had." He turned to his men. "Boys. You know who this is?" he said pointing to Jordan. "That there, is the Faltoni Reaper." His men flinched at the words. They started chattering to each other with scared expressions on their faces. "He is feared by my men. He's a cold blooded killer. Lost dozens of me to him. But he's used to stealth. There's no way he can take us on when we know where he is."

We all looked at Jordan in disbelief. "Well if Jordan truly is who you say his is, then he is a killer." Jordan looked at me with shame in his eyes. "But that's exactly what we need on our side. Besides, with our help, we can take on your group. You only have a few more men than us." "Yes you have a point. Too bad you didn't come this morning or else you'd would have stood a chance. Sadly for you, the rest of my men are just getting back now." He said as several large trucks pulled into the lot filled with men. There were probably another forty or so more. Now there were more than tripple our numbers. "I sent my boys out when we heard you show up. Thought it was them. Now I'm going to give you a chance to get out of this alive. Had him over and leave or your future will be pretty short." "Alright. I see how it is."

I turned to the others. "Mallo." I said. He looked at me. "Take the girls!" I yelled as I turned round and readied my gun. In a split second, three things happened. We all lifted our guns and fired a shot at Accardo's men, Mallo grabbed the girls and dived behind the trucks, and Jordan lifted his pistol to Accardo's head and shot him. Eight people lay dead and another six wounded as we scrabbled for cover as they returned fire. Gus and Tara were hit in the process. Tara was hit in the arm. It was a shallow shot, only going through the upper edge of her bicep. Gus wasn't as fortunate. The shot was placed in his gut. He was alive, but barely. Weston dragged him back behind the trucks for safety. Once I was behind a crate, I took aim at Accardo's men with SMG I was using. I took down three before I dropped down to avoid getting shot myself. The wood splintered as the bullets shot though narrowly avoiding me. I gave some return fire at them and took another three out before my clip ran dry. It was scary how killing came so easily to me.

Jordan's Pov.

It felt good putting a bullet through Accardo's skull. The man was a total #sshole. He dissevered that bullet the most. I quickly ran for the door and pulled it open for cover. I shot down three of his men before I was forced to reload. Quint fired a few rounds off into one guy before a bullet made the back of his head erupt in a bloody spray of brain matter. I quickly shot down the man who fired the shot and his buddy next to him. I didn't get to know Quint long, but he seemed like a nice guy. He didn't deserve to go out like that. The younger of the two girls crawled to his side and cried over his body. It was his niece. Quint was married to Fran so he was her uncle through mirage.

I could see Penelope trying to save Gus' life. He was bleeding a lot from his gut wound. He looked unconscious. Without the proper medical training or gear, Penelope was just as useless in this situation as any of us would have been. She wasn't able to patch him up. Clyde was trying to help her, but it didn't look good for Gus. I shot off a few more rounds into two more men before I noticed someone run passed me. Rebecca.

Rebecca's Pov.

I fired several shots at the men. It's not that I wanted to kill them. Just that I had some pent-up anger that I was taking out on them. Besides, I already killed before. These would be no different. Dylan was making good use of his sniper skills. He didn't seem to miss his target. I figured I wait for a chance to move to a different spot. When Jordan fired off a few shots from the door, I took my chance and bolted through the door. I ran into the warehouse looking for any sign of where they might be hiding the girls. I noticed some of the men retreating back into the warehouse looping around toward the door where everyone was. I ran back to try to stop them. They didn't see me coming as I unsheathed my katana and plunged it into the first guy's back while I shot the other two, using him as a shield.

I pulled it out of him as he dropped to the floor. I turned just as a man tackled me to the ground. "You little b#tch. You're going to pay for that." I squirmed in his arms trying to get free as I could feel his hands moving towards places I wish they weren't going to. I tried to reach for the revolver I was using, but it was out of reach. My katana was on the other side of him and that arm was pinned down. I could feel his hand start to slip under my shirt. "Pht. Pht." He fell over dead, blood pouring from the two sets of entry and exit wounds on his head. I looked over at Jordan standing in the doorway. "You ok?" he asked me walking over to me holding out a hand. "Thanks to you." He pulled me to my feet and I picked up my weapons and took a new position aiming at the men from behind. "BLAM! BLAM!" Two more went down. I dropped behind cover to reload as Jordan covered me.

Anna's Pov.

"BLAM! BRAT-AT-AT-AT! BLAM! BRAT-AT-AT-AT-AT! BLAM! BLAM! BRAT-AT-AT-AT!" The gunfire was deafening. I could see the others panicking as we hid behind cover, popping out long enough to fire off a few shots and ducking back down. I got up and shot three quick shots with one of the semi-automatic hunting rifles we picked up from the gun shop. "BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!" Three men dropped to the ground, only one getting back up to try to run. Another shot from someone else finished him off. They were pinned between they're trucks and the loading bay door. Some tried to bolt for the door but got gunned down from within. I realized Jordan and Rebecca were nowhere to be seen. It must have been them.

I came up with an idea. I fired a few shots at one of the truck's gas tanks. The fuel slowly pooled on the ground. "PA-TING!" A bullet ricochet off the truck just a foot from my head. I dropped down instantly. As I reloaded my rifle, I saw Erik sitting beside me fearful of the chaos. I had trouble hearing him, but I was sure I heard him say "Zis is like Normandy all over again." I had trouble comprehending, but I remembered hearing something about him being a war veteran. He must have been referring to D-day. I only had one question. Which side was he on? After all, he was German. I quickly went back up and took a few shots at the pavement near the gas pool. Sure enough it made a few sparks and they fell into the gas and set it alight.

The fire spread almost instantly as several men from behind the truck came running out and were shot down almost instantly by me and the others. Ducking back down, I saw that half of us were taking cover rather than fighting. Kevin, Tara, Penelope, Erik, Clyde, Mallo, Ted, that Philip guy, and even Ben were taking cover. Quint was dead, Gus was unconscious, and the rest of us were fighting. "What's with you guys? We need every person we can get up here shooting!" I tried to yell over the gunfire. I got a few heads turned and even seemed to realize my point. Tara was the first to spring back into action. Quickly followed by Ted. I could see Clyde checking Gus' pulse. He shook his head and got up and started shooting again. Penelope soon joined in too. I quickly returned to firing at them.

Ben's Pov.

I sat there in shock. I knew the shot I fired at the start had landed a lethal blow to the man on the receiving end of the gun. I held the pistol in my hand, both wanting to keep using it to protect my friends and wanting nothing to do with it ever again. It was such I split second decision. It only hit me moments after that I had just murdered a man. I never thought I'd have to do it. I was ready to use it in defence, but we had fired the first shot. It felt so much worse than I had thought it might have been during the planning. I figured I could just tell myself it was in self-defence. Now that hope was gone. I saw Penelope was getting up to fight. I couldn't bear to watch her die and I did nothing to stop it. I decided to push aside for now so I could focus on the task at hand.

I got up and fired a few shots at the men as they came out off cover to shoot. I continued the process till my Glock jammed. It was out of ammo. I dropped down to reload. I counted at least three kills when I did that. My aim was terrible. I missed all but four shots and the fourth didn't kill. I thought I saw movement out the corner of my eye. I looked over and saw Gus moving. "Gus? Clyde Gus is waking up." I called to Clyde. He looked back and saw him moving. He kneeled down next to Gus. "Gus, can you hear me? Try not to move." He placed his hand on his shoulder. "You're in a critical state. I'm going to try to stop the blee-aaahhh!" he yelled as Gus sunk his teeth into Clyde's arm. Clyde pulled away and stood back up really fast. A bullet flew at him and blasted its way through his head. Clyde's lifeless body dropped to the pavement.

His daughter was distort. She was unable to move as the now reanimated Gus was crawling her way. "BLAM!" Mallo shot Gus in the head. He trembled. The gun shaking in his hand. He dropped the gun and made the sign of the cross. "Lord forgive me." is what I could see him mouth out. I was in total shock. I couldn't comprehend what had just happened. How had Gus turned? He wasn't bit. I saw Anna was looking at Gus with the same sort of look, but with more of a questioning thought in her mind. She shook it aside and returned to the fight. I gave Gus another glance. If Gus turned, what did that mean for the countless other bodies lying scattered across the lot.

Jordan's Pov.

Rebecca and I had shot down at least ten men between us since taking up our new position. They're numbers were dwindling fast. Out of the almost seventy or so men they had, there probably were less than thirty left. Compared to them, most of us were inexperienced. Yet we were winning due to superior cover and preparation. They only had four trucks to hide behind and one of them was ablaze. Not only that, but we also had a clear shot behind two of them. Our people were behind trucks with a wall at our backs so no one could get us from behind, but a clear shot could be taken from the sides. Rebecca and I were in a good spot to keep them from making their way to those vulnerable positions. Even if they did make it past us they would still have to get pass the others.

I thought I heard something behind me. I turned around and raised my gun. I quickly lowered it when I saw it was Jacob. "Christ, sorry man. Don't just sneak up on someone like that." "My bad." He said in his low, gravelly voice. "Thought I'd try to find where they were holding the girls while they were distracted." "Good thinking. We'll keep them busy. Go." I returned to shooting at the remanding men while he went further into the warehouse to find them. I was worried about how much longer we could hold out. Majority of our bullets had missed. Now that just about everyone who was left was behind good cover, it would be that much harder to hit them. I told Rebecca to just stand down for now. "Until we can find a way to draw them out, we should save our ammo." She nodded in agreement.

Chan's Pov.

I wasn't sure how long we had been fighting for. It seemed like hours. In reality it probably was closer to five minutes. I had probably shot down or injured at least ten men. Most were hard to hit behind their cover. When someone set one of the trucks on fire, I had shot down a few that ran out, but I haven't been able to hit anyone since as they were behind the trucks I didn't have view of. I ran across the gap between the crate I was behind to the trucks with the others. "Can you tell how many are left?" I yelled to Anna. "No. Maybe thirty or more." "We should reposition while we still can. Our ammo won't last much longer if we keep this up. If we move inside, they'll have follow if they want to take us out." She nodded. "Mallo, get the girls inside. We need to move to draw them out of hiding. Get into the warehouse and take position behind something. Keep these doors in your sights. When they come to follow, we shoot them down."

The process was rather quick. We started piling into the warehouse and quickly got into position. Jordan and Rebecca followed us further back and we waited for any movement at the doors. Nothing happened. No one came. We sat prepped for any sign of them, but they didn't come. I only just realized, but the gunfire had ceased shortly after we stopped firing back. There was silence. Suddenly the sound of a truck starting up could be heard. Then another. The sounds that followed told me they started moving. As a large shadow blocked the light in the doorway, I realized what was happening. "Everyone move!" I yelled as the trucks drove into the warehouse and smashed through crates and the fence in the center of the warehouse where their tents had been set up. None of us got hit, but now we were out in the open.

I shot up the back of the truck where I believed the men were waiting to jump out of. They looked like military trucks soldiers were transported in, so it seemed pretty logical. The bullets ripped through the tarp covering and the yells and cries confirmed my suspicions. As I fired my shots, the others repositioned and fired at the men climbing out the other vehicle. I dove behind some still intact crates for cover as the survivors returned fire. I could hear grunts and groans from not so far away from me. I looked over. Ted and Kevin were on the ground in pain as Penelope and Anna tried to tend to them. Ted was hit in the shoulder. It looked bad, but Penelope was quick to treat him and was tearing a section of cloth from his jacket to use as dressing. Kevin was looking a bit more critical as he was bleeding from the top of his head. The bullet had grazed his head on the top where he had a bald spot and a section of bone was visable. He was disorientated and jumping in and out of consciousness, but he was alive.

I was about to get up and take another shot when I heard the sound of me screaming in pain. I peeked over the crate to see walkers were swarming the remainder of the men. Some were long since turned, with decaying skin and sluggish movements. The rest were different. They looked fresh, agile, familiar. Then it hit me. They were the men we had been shooting. I couldn't figure out how that was even possible. My attention was shifted as I heard a growl to my left. A walker was coming at me. Based on the pierce hole through it's body, I figured it had been killed by Rebecca when it was alive. I unsheathed my sword and slashed its head off. Getting a glimpse outside, I realized the hoard I had seen following the truck from before had finally caught up and were overrunning the men.

I realized our priority targets were no longer the men we were fighting. There were so few of them left that the walkers would keep them busy. The dead were what we had to worry about. "Keep the dead in your sights. Don't let them get too close unless you're prepared to fight back." I yelled to the others. I shot down a few more walkers before my gun ran out of ammo. I quickly readied my katana and waited for them to close the distance. There were at least five coming toward me and plenty more that could too at a moment's notice. I took a step with each swing. The fluid motions of my technique were evident of my years of karate training with my father. I hadn't really utilized much other than the basics so far, but in the close quarters we were in, it just came as an instinct. I cut through the fifth one, I retreated back a bit to protect Anna and Penelope while they looked after Ted and Kevin.

Ted was patched up, but in no condition to fight back. Penelope was doing her best to treat Kevin. It wasn't as bad as it looked because the bullet grazed him, but he was still on the verge of unconsciousness. As seven walkers were closing in, Anna stood up and pulled her screwdriver out of her pocket. We stood ready to face off against the eight walkers heading our way.

Anna Pov.

Chan and I were ready to defend the others from the walkers coming at us. I took the first action moving forward and placing a perfect strike deep into its eye, killing it. I retreated back when three tried to grab me right after. Chan took this chance to kill two in one slash and the other in the follow-up slash. I ran forward and kicked out one of their legs, causing it to fall over. I took my chance to stab the back of its head. I felt a cold splatter on the back of my neck as Chan sliced a walker's head in half right behind me. "Thanks." I said getting up and piercing another in the temple. "Try not to pull stunts like that unless there's only one or two of them. It's too risky otherwise." He said taking out the eighth one.

I noticed the others on the opposite side of the warehouse were still shooting at the men and the walkers. "Chan, should we help them?" "We're needed here. They look like their handling themselves well enough right now." I looked back and knew he was right. I returned my focus to the walkers. I put down another two before a stray bullet took out a third. Some of the men were still alive trying to shot down the walkers. I took down another as it got close and was ready to take another when I felt a searing pain in my right earlobe. I dropped to the floor holding my ear. When I pulled my hand away, it was covered in blood. "Anna!" Chan yelled as he came over to me. He pulled me back to Penelope and she tried to wrap some cloth around my ear. I was so out of it I didn't know if I was even conscious. I did know one thing though. I had been shot.

Sam's Pov

I felt hollow inside, like the energy that had sparked so much life into me had disappeared and left an empty husk of a body behind. If I had looked at myself in that moment, I wouldn't have recognized it as me. I was even doubting if it had even happened. Hoping that maybe this was all just one big horrible nightmare. That I would wake up back at the motel and things would be alright. But the longer I sat there in the darkness, chains pulling at my sore arms, and the chill of the cold concrete against my barely covered skin, I knew that flicker of hope was fading out like a candle on it's last bit of wick. I was fading just as fast. The strong, versatile woman I had come to think myself as of, just as I feared, was dissolving under the weight of my ordeal and fear and weakness were taking it's place.

Sounds around me were faint and echoing. I tuned them out, as nothing could change what had happened. Something caught my ear. "Sam? Are you ok?" The voice was lost on me for a moment, but only a moment. "Melody?" "Yeah, you alright?" My silence was enough of an answer for her. "I'm sorry you had to go through that. I know exactly how you feel. We all do. We've all been raped by those…" "Pleased don't say that word. I don't want to be reminded of that. I can barely get it out of my head as is." Tears started to well in my eyes. "I'm sorry. I only meant…" "Just… not now… ok? Not now." "Ok. I understand."

Things went quiet for a bit. The only sound I could hear was my own sobbing. Then the door opened as three men walked in. "Those two. They're the ones they want." Two of the men walked over to a couple of the girls chained up further down my row. They were unchained and brought out of the room. "Where are you taking them?" Melody protested. "None of your concern honey. All you need to know is the boss needs them." "You better not hurt them." "So long things go as planned, they'll be fine." he said slamming the door behind him. She gave an angry grunt. "I sure hope they don't hurt them. That girls just a kid." That suddenly snapped me back into reality. "She's a kid?" "Well she's fifteen, but that's still practically a kid." Some of my fear was replaced with angry. It was thing to do what they did to me, but she was still a teenager. I knew that if it was Rebecca I would have been furious.

The sound of gunfire cut off my thought. It didn't sound like they were being used on the dead. The shots were too rapid. There was a battle happening. "What's going on?" "I don't know. This hasn't happened before." All we could do was sit there, not knowing what was going to happen, until the fight was over.

Chan's Pov.

I saw Anna drop to her knees, holding her head in pain. "Anna!" I yelled running toward her. I sheathed my katana as I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her back toward Penelope. "She's been hit." I told her as I handed Anna over. I readied my katana again as the dead drew near. I hacked and slashed at the dead one after another, I pushed myself to do my all. It was my fault my friends were getting hurt and I wasn't going to let the dead prevent them from having a chance to survive. In just a matter of minutes, I noticed the dead were thinning and there wasn't a sign that any of Accardo's men survived. All we had to do was finish off the dead.

Jordan's Pov.

We were nearing the end of the fight. Only the dead were left. I shot a few down and started to reload when Chan called to me. "Jordan! Go find the girls. We'll hold them off." I nodded and gestured for Ben and Rebecca to follow.

Anna's Pov.

My hearing was muffled, but I was able to see my surroundings. Penelope was finishing up patching up our wounds. Surprisingly, it seemed like we were all either grazed or shot in none lethal areas. But we would probably dead if it wasn't for her. Had she not been so good at her job, we might have all died. We definitely were going to be sore as h#ll for a while, but it looked like we were going to live.

Sam's Pov.

After a few minutes, the door began to open. "Sam? You here?" a familiar, low gravelly voice called in. "Jacob?" I said back. He located me right away. "Oh thank god. We were so worried about you. You're safe now. That's the sound of us winning." he said pointing toward the gunfire outside. "We came to free you. All of you." In the low light, I could just make out the hopeful faces the other girls were making as her got my left hand free of the chains.

"Just a moment and I'll have you hand fre…aahh." he was able to get out before a knife was plunged into his back. He tried to get up, but the knife was causing him too much discomfort. "I'm afraid I can't let you do that." It was Tom Shepard. "Sam, I had no clue there were people out there that cared that much about you. Not like it matters. You're not going anywhere." He pulled the knife from Jacob's back and began to repeatedly stabbing him with it. After about twelve stabs, he stopped and left the knife in his shoulder. He caressed my face and said "I'll protect you from anyone who dares come to free you." I wanted to slap him, but I was frozen in fear. Not just because of what he did to Jacob, but also because I was having flash backs to what he had done to me just hours earlier. I was unbound, but he still had a chain around me.

The shooting became less frequent and almost stopped all together, save for the odd shot here and there. "It's over. My people have put a stop to you would be heroes and you're going to be my personal girl until I grow tired of yo…" a voice approaching the room caught his attention. "Hurry, the girls should be somewhere over here. With Accords and his men out of the way, it won't take long." It was Jordan. "Impossible." Tom said drawing his gun and aiming for the door ready to shoot. "sam…" I looked down at Jacob as he weakly pointed to the knife in his shoulder. I knew what he mean and I was more than ready to do it. I pulled my other hand free, took the knife and drove it through the back of his neck. "Ah-ga… cough… gak…" was all that he could muster before I freed the knife, pulled him to the ground, and stabbed him over and over in the face. I was lost in a frenzy. The blood spewing from his head coated my body and the silk robe. I didn't stop for what felt like ages. My eyes were closed, tears pouring from them like a fountain, as I kept stabbing him.

Finally I slowed down as my arms grew tired and I opened my eyes. The sight before me was horrific. Where there had once been a man's head, was now a skull-shaped bowl of bone and brains and blood. Lots of blood. Everywhere. The knife I was holding was even bent at the tip from hitting clean through to the concrete floor. I tossed it aside as I cried over his body. Both from pain and from relief. "Sam?" I looked up to see Jordan, Ben, and Rebecca staring at me in shock. Rebecca took notice of my clothing predicament and told them to go find some clothes for me and the other girls. She stepped over to me and pulled me into a hug. "He hurt you didn't he?" My tears were all the answer she needed. "I would have done the same. We're he now. You're safe."

She pulled away. "Oh god… Jacob." I looked back to see Jacob starting to rise to his feet, but he was dead. His white milky eyes said it all. Rebecca wasted no time putting him down. We then continued to untie the girls. As we started walking back to the others melody came next to me and said "I'm sorry about your friend." "It's ok. He died trying to save us. He was a hero. I didn't even know he was bit." "That's because he wasn't." Chan stood in front of us with ben and Jordan. He placed a blanket around me. "He just turned, like the men we killed…" "Like Gus…" Ben added. Rebecca sighed. "Like dad…" I placed a hand on her shoulder as I realized Greg was dead, but I was still confused. "What are you trying to say?" Chan placed a hand to his face and rubbed his temple. "I can't say for certain, but I don't think it's the bites that turn us." He walked several steps away from the group before turning around and saying "Based on the evidence I have heard and seen with my own eyes today, I've come to a chilling conclusion." He was silent for a moment. "We're all infected with it. It's already in us. The bite must just speed up the process." "You mean were just going to slowly turn?" "No. We'd probably already be showing signs of it if we were going to. I think it only turns us when we die. No matter how we die. But only when we're dead."

We all were unsure what to think of this news. We had never really considered what cause us to turn. But it was the best guess to explain the people they saw turn without bites. Everyone seemed to be excepting of that reason. We all returned to the bus and returned the girls one by one back to their groups. Some found their people gone or dead, so we accepted them into our group. We pulled up to an apartment building and the rest of our people were there to greet us. Chan spoke to a woman while bringing the two girls that were brought out of the room earlier to her. She cried, but hugged the girls, mostly the teenager. I really felt bad for her. No girl her age should live through what she did.

Ben's Pov.

After several minutes they went inside and came back out with bags and boxes. "Chan, what's going on?" Jordan asked him. "We got most of their men killed. I thought it would be best if they relocated to the motel with us." "That's going to make the amount of people we have to make room for eleven. I don't know about you, but I don't think we have that many rooms." "It will only be temporary.
