Back home?

Four or five nights had passed when Jill realized that the ship had finally stopped. After being cared by Deborah for two days, the two were separated and since then Jill received only two visits per day from the soldiers who used to bring her some food and water.

Jill failed to comfort the girl by telling her that Piers had a chance to meet her friends, or even his brother himself and survive. Deborah was still depressed and after telling her life story to Jill, she guaranteed she would rather die than live without Piers. Although a bit dramatic, Jill had to assume that she admired the feeling that was born between the two youths. A feeling that other people or situation might try to destroy, but it would only get stronger, the same that has happened to her and Chris.

Jill had not had much time to devise a plan with Deborah to rescue the boys, as if Wesker knew her intention, as soon as Jill recovered he sent his men to separate the two girls.

The rest of the days alone in that berth were boring, but nothing compared to what was waiting for Jill when they got to Pine Hill. She believed she could go home when they arrived, but following orders from Wesker, four soldiers escorted Jill to the main house, under some disguised threats.

Although upset, Jill decided not to question or resist. So when they guided her to a room she demanded to see Wesker. She needed to know what he meant and at least fight for her freedom.

While waiting, she could realize that she was in a luxurious room, with finely crafted furniture and silk curtains. Everything very well decorated. Jill approached the curtains, pulling them away and revealing large windows protected by heavy bars. She turned to the door and noticed that this was an extremely thick and sturdy door, different from ordinary ones.

She was evaluating everything in detail when Wesker walked through the door. Although she felt like hitting him with the massive wooden chair beside her, Jill kept calm because she knew it was the only way to get answers and to think of real solutions.

"Blackmail now is part of your policy of government?"

"Not a blackmail at all, Miss Valentine." Wesker stopped by the door "I just said that it's better for your father to see that I saved and that I'm taking good care of his beloved daughter... After all, you know how parents worry about their children and how fragile his health is. Poor pirate, he can die at any moment.' Wesker smirked.

"Aw! So excuse me for being ungrateful and not recognizing you good intentions." She said ironically and rolled her eyes" Come on, now tell me I'm your guest of honor in a cell disguised as luxurious room."

"Come on Jill. It always depends on which side you want to look at. There are only advantages by being nice."

Jill shrugged. Wesker did not need to be clearer about his real intentions. He wanted the fame of savior before his father, but only Jill knew who this man really was. She just didn't do anything because she feared for the safety of her parents. Wesker left Piers alive, but he proved to have a petty and cruel mind if wanted to. And Jill did not fear for her own life if she needed to face him, but she feared for Dick and Isabel.

Before Wesker could say anything else, one of the soldiers came and whispered something in his ear, causing the governor to step out the door without words or gestures.

Without any reaction, Jill just looked at the door that closed in front of her, confirming her suspicions. Until that moment she did not know what to do and how to do.

Of all the concerns spinning in her head, one was not only spinning, but hurting, Chris.

If everything had occurred as expected, Chris probably left the cave the next day after she left and could be planning a way to get back home. If he was still in the cave, he could survive a few days with water, but not many for the lack of food.

Although she believed that all supernatural dangers and illusions were gone with the book, Jill feared for the natural hazards. That island was still dangerous and even with all Chris' experience, there was a risk. At that moment her soul cried. Cried the longing of his arms, the fear of losing him forever.

She wished she could leave that place and run towards him. She didn't know who to ask for help, she didn't know how to get to that place, but she would try everything for him if she could.

As she looked at the curtains swaying in the play of wind getting in through the large windows, Jill left the heart go back into a not so distant past where memories were as real as that breeze.

And that was exactly when his words made perfect sense to her ... "I choose to collect wonderful memories that can never be stolen from me"

"With so many problems, you should have come immediately to me when you arrived" Excella watched Wesker as she crossed her legs seductively. Wearing a moss green dress with a large slit, she touched her neck as he stretched it "Do you have any clue about what were these weeks without you here? I'm so tired ..."

"And what makes you think I'm not?"

" But I know how to get you relax." Excella uncrossed her legs and let her body slip in the chair, giving Wesker an inviting gaze.

Wesker took a few steps towards her. Excella smiled and let out a cry of surprise when Wesker grabbed her by the neck lifting her.

"What did you do with Lana?" He asked calmly, though he was visibly mad.

"Wesker? Will you miss a moment of pleasure to worry about that incompetent servant?"

"Out with it".

"Well... Many strange noises in the basement, all soldiers and prisoners complained of haunting events. I ordered that idiot to look for a priest to exorcise the place and the priest never appeared. So two days ago I discovered that in fact that mule was lying to me, she didn't look for the priest. I ordered them to put her in one of the cells near the noises as punishment."

Wesker lifted Excella up a bit more before throwing her on the floor.

"I told you to let Lana take care of my stuff. Be thankful of my mercy today, next time I'll order them to put you there for months. For now, I suggest you not to cross my path for at least a week."

Wesker walked out the door really angry, and so was Excella.

Jill looked at the sharp object in her hand. She had managed to remove a part of the frame of the lamp and create something that could work as a melee weapon.

Although not very sturdy, Jill knew it would be enough to attack someone by surprise. After three days locked in that room, she believed that occasion would be ideal for surprising any person and meet an escape opportunity.

While hiding the object in the elegant navy blue dress, she thought of ways to attack any soldiers or even Wesker. Then she would run to the village to get Dick and Isabel and flee. She still didn't know how to convince her parents, but she could stand no more days stuck in that place, without knowing about her parents and friends.

When a soldier opened the door informing Jill that Wesket was waiting for her for the special dinner, Jill confirmed that this would be the best time to act, as she was probably going to be alone with the governor.

The soldier guided Jill to a large and luxurious room, like everything in that mansion. After placing Jill in front of a large double door, he left the door they entered and she realized that someone had entered it afterward, probably Wesker.

"I knew this dress would look divine on you."

Jill frowned as she put her hand to her dress discreetly. Alone with the governor, as she thought that would be the best time to act. As soon as her fingers touched the sharp metal, the doors opened, revealing a long and decorated table with Dick and Isabel sat on the right side of it.

Shocked, Jill opened her hand and let object as she allowed Wesker to take her by the hand, leading her up to her parents.

"You are alive" Dick said with some difficulty as she hugged her daughter. "Thank you, Governor."

Jill had still no reaction, she embraced her mother and the two exchanged a worried gaze. What was enough to make Jill realize that her mother understood what was happening there.

"Your daughter is a different and special woman and I'm treating her the same way. Aren't I, Jill?"

Jill nodded and smiled slightly at her father.

Dinner ran without major events. Wesker at times praised himself, speaking about his qualities and the advantages of his allies.

Although disgusted with the words from the governor, Jill could only pay attention to her father. Very thin, with dark circles, difficult movements and speaking slowly. Dick looked ill, yet he seemed happy with all the attention and pampering from Wesker.

"You are very quiet, Jill. Seems you didn't like the surprise." Wesker put his hand over hers and smiled.

In undisguised irritation, Jill pulled her hand back.

"I loved it. But I'd love the permission to return to my room. I have a headache. And I'd love my mother to stay with me for a few minutes, if you don't mind."

"Sure!" Wesker looked at her suspicious "I'm happy to see how you like your room, dear. I'll ask the butler to take you two, because I prefer to stay with your father. He needs special care, doesn't he?

Jill avoided the menacing gaze from Wesker as she stood up and walked towards her father to hug him. Soon the soldier disguised as the butler appeared and led Jill and Isabel to the room.

Once Isabel entered the room behind her daughter, Jill asked the guard to leave them alone for a while. He left closing the door behind him.

"But what a dark place.." Isabel said.

Jill walked to the window and pulled one of the curtains revealing the large bars for her mother.

"Mom, you really believed him when he said that I chose to stay here to know him better?'

"Of course not! Mainly because I saw some days ago you sitting on the floor surrounded by shadows, as if you were trapped. So I was expecting something similar to this."

Jill sighed deeply.

"And now, my daughter?"

"I will do nothing for now. I realized that his threats are real ... I will not act impulsively this time." Jill sat in front of Isabel "Let's play his game."

"How so?' Isabel asked in surprise.

"Pretend that, like my father, you are impressed with everything and glad that I'm here."

"Difficult..."

"But necessary. It's the only way to find out what he really wants from me or from my father and also a way to end it all."

"Yes, you're right." Isabel approached Jill, pulling his daughter's head closer and hugging her. "Jill, what happened to you during all that time?"

"I'll tell you another time. Let's be brief so that the governor won't suspect anything." Jill released Isabel gently so she could get up "I brought you here because I need to find something out that is consuming my mind. "

"And what's that?" Isabel looked at her surprised.

"Keith, Leon ... I need to know if they returned and how they are."

Isabel's gaze then became worried and sad, leaving Jill very concerned.

"Tell me, please!" She looked at Isabel longing for the answer.

Mister Valentine: Heloooooo dear! I'm really happy to hear your review, specially because your opinion about the story had transformations as the story ran. That means a lot to me, specially when it comes from a person who doesnt dig epic stories. Thank you very much for your kind words.

Yeah, of course Jill is not indifferent. She is just strong to do the right thing, not cold to avoid feelings. We realize than shes in control of everything, even her bad actions, because all she wanted was to protect her friends, even when she didn't know exactly how to do that.

All these extrem situations have been turning her slowly from moody gyspsy Jill to the Jill we know in RE.

About Chris, well... I don't plan to write him for now, cause I plan something special for his return, which will take a long time in the story... But we'll soon know what happened to him. Be patient.

Thanks for coming always! Thanks for the cute words!

Hope to see u soon Misterrrrrrrrrrrrr. Kisssssssssssssssss.
