Chaos and Harmony: Chapter 21
Visiting Amy
I'm sorry for not updating in a while,
Please forgive me,
Let's get to the story of AWESOME!
Eggman checked over the map of Ponyville with his droids surrounding the map-table. "My plan is finally falling into place... In three days this 'Equestria' will become Eggman Land!" Eggman cackled. "But sir? What about Sonic and those ponies?" One of the droids asked.
Eggman slammed his fist onto the table and looked at all of his brainless creations. "If my army of robots succeeds with taking down the goddesses of the sun and moon, then all hope will die. And as for Sonic and his 'Elements of Harmony' we just need to plan this out carefully..." Eggman said, pausing for effect. "We capture that black pony, the one with the wings, and Sonic will surrender, same with his friends..." Eggman said but then scratched his chin.
"But how to do it is my question..."
One of the robots raised a hand.
"Yes, 4.03?" Eggman asked, crossing his arms.
"Well... once the army is ready in three days and we are storming the castle, we should..."
"This is a remarkable reaction to such brutal force!" Twilight said as she looked into Aurora's violet eye. "Can you take the eye patch off though? There's nothing to be ashamed of."
Aurora snorted and leaned against Sonic's shoulder and crossed her hooves. "I'm now wearing it because I'm ashamed, it's just because I look like a pirate and I look awesome!" She said and Twilight rolled her eyes and turned back to her research. "But... it says here in this book that..." Twilight mumbled and then gasped, knocking the book off the table.
Aurora and Sonic sat up straight and Aurora took the eye patch off so she could see her more clearly.
"Twilight?" Sonic asked as she levitated the book.
When she found the right page she showed it to them.
"It says here that when a spirit of an element of harmony is injured with some kind of force, their elements also change like them and the elements can no longer be used the same again!" She pointed out and Aurora put a hoof on the side of her face where her eye was blue.
"Look, it's not Aurora's fault, it's Amy's." Sonic said and Aurora relaxed. "I can see that." Twilight said as Spike put the book back on the shelf for her. Just then, Aurora bolted into the air and grabbed the book from Spike. "I knew it!" She announced as she found the page where they were looking at. "Twilight, did Amy read this book?" Aurora asked as Twilight looked confused at that question.
"Um... I saw here in here reading before she got all... You know?" Twilight said. Aurora glanced at the book and at Sonic, then flew down to him and hovered in front of his so they were at eye-level. "I need to pay someone a visit, I'll see you later, okay?" Aurora asked. Sonic nodded and pulled her in for a hug. Aurora hugged him back, hearing Twilight squeal and then bolted out the door, carrying the book in her front hooves.
She flew until she saw the insane asylum, flushed of all colors and sitting on a hill away from Ponyville beside the Everfree forest. She landed at the entrance and nodded at a guard as he let her in. Aurora sped inside and saw a lady at a desk. "Can I help you?" She asked and Aurora cleared her throat. "I'm looking for the lunatic, Amy Rose."
"Right this way." She said as Aurora was brought to a room with a glass wall separating her and Amy Rose herself. Amy was sitting with her back facing her and she wore a straitjacket with the sleeves tied in the back. The room that Amy was in had grey cushions on the ceiling, walls and floor and a thin blanket was crumpled up in a corner.
Aurora gulped down her nervousness and tapped on the glass with her hoof. Amy didn't even flinch, she just kept facing the wall. "Amy." Aurora said and Amy's ears pricked up. She turned her head halfway with a look of anger and sorrow on her face, but then once she saw Aurora's eyes an uncomfortable grin pricked her lips and she turned towards her.
"Aurora Wing... Still have that necklace that Sonic gave you?" She asked and Aurora just glared at her and touched the silver star necklace.
"Did you or did you not read chapter 17 of Twilight's element advice book?" She asked and put the book against the glass so she could see it. Amy darted her solid, cloudy eyes at the book and then back at her enemy. Then she smiled, her grin too big for her face. "Nice eye, does Sonic still feel the spark even after that happened?" She smirked, one of her ears twitching, which made Aurora a bit creeped out.
"So you did read it? That's why you went berserk?" Aurora asked as she stomped her hoof and put the book down. "I read every book in Twilight's library... It was until I saw you kiss Sonic when I remembered that book at chapter 35, the last chapter." She said and out of curiosity, Aurora flipped to the back of the book and saw a one-page chapter labeled: 35
"How to obtain gemstone magic..." Aurora read and looked up at Amy, who tilted her head to the left and Aurora saw a heart-shaped ruby hanging from the wall.
"What is that?" Aurora asked. "I stole it at Rarity's boutique. It's actually called the broken heart ruby, that's why I stole it, because it was a gem that connected with my feelings." Amy said as she grinned creepily and Aurora closed the book and tucked it under her wing. "Nice talking with you. I hope you enjoy your life in the crazy house." Aurora called to her as she walked away.
After Aurora told Sonic what happened, he nodded and tapped his chin. "That's where you were... you were gone for an hour and I started to worry..." He said and Aurora nodded.
Just then, Knuckles and Fluttershy ran up to them and stood at the base of their tree.
"Hey, guys, guess what?" Knuckles called up to them as the two speedsters looked down at him. Then, he unexpectedly pulled Fluttershy into a hug and smiled. "Me and Fluttershy are dating."
How was that Awesomeness?
Anyways, I hope you forgive me about the long wait, but I was just so busy.
But you people will just have to wait for the next chapter...
Oh, and one more thing...
