Aria's Shield

Tonight was Battleground.

Roman and Seth were going up against Cody and Goldust. If Cody and Goldust win, both of them were guaranteed a job. I never wanted to see Dean or his teammates lose, but I had to admit (although not to him) that I was torn on this one. Cody was my friend. If it was a regular match, I'd be fine with him losing but losing this one would cost him his job.

"Hey." I approached Dean in my ring attire after being released from the beautification hands of Becky and Charlie. "Fellas-" I waved at Seth and Roman.

"Causing trouble again, Aria?" Roman grinned over at me.

"No more than usual, Roman." I replied back sweetly. As if perfect timing, something in the near distance crashed, echoing a loud noise down the corridor. All Shield boys turned to me with raised brows, "They can't prove that was me-" I pointed towards where the noise came from.

"Have you shrunk?" Dean asked, cutting me off.

I looked down at my feet and back up at Dean, "What? No!" I said defensively. "You're just wearing your high heels."

"They're boots." He pointed out.

"With high heels." I placed my hands on my hips. "Anyone is short to you Mr Six Feet Four." I glanced towards the other two, who were smirking and nudging each other at our flirting.

Dean leaned back against the wall, grinning down at me. "You ready for your match?" Dean asked, as he tapped up his hands.

"Who are you facing?" Roman asked me.

"Dean for the US title." I stated, causing Dean to scoff. "What's that for? Don't you think I deserve a title shot? I'd kick your butt."

"Oh I'd love to face you in the ring, sweetheart." He pulled me into him where I rested my chin on his chest as I looked up at him. He leaned down and pecked my nose.

"Aww." Seth and Roman mocked as Dean glared at them.

"Hi Seth." Seth's mocking was cut short by Charlie appearing.

He turned around and scooped her into his arms, "Hi beautiful." He dipped down and kissed her lips.

"Awwww." Dean, Roman and I all chimed together. Payback is sweet.

"Shut up."

I reached up and ran my fingers through Dean's hair. It wasn't slicked back tonight and just remained fluffy at the top. His head was turned talking to Roman as I was doing so. Dean's arms remained encircled around my waist, keeping me close. I was distracted as I peered down the corridor. I saw the Bellas were filming their latest episode of Total Divas and was worried about any more secret filming that they would do. "Kiddo?"

I snapped out of my trance and looked up at Dean, "I'm not a kid." I said sternly. "And you will see that when I beat you in the ring tonight."

"Maybe we should hire out a ring some day. Test that theory out." Dean winked.

"I wouldn't want to embarrass you in front of your homies." I jerked my thumb in the direction of Roman and Seth.

"Homies?" Dean smirked, raising a brow.

"It's gangster for friends." Dean grinned over at his friends who laughed at my comment. "I know, I'm adorable." I shrugged modestly.

Dean continued to look down at me and laugh. He looked so sweet when he smiled, it's probably why he didn't do it in the ring so much. "You're a little weirdo, kiddo." He chuckled.

"How dare you call me weird." I backed away from him. "I'll see you in the ring, Ambrose."

Unexpectedly, Dean came after me, "Aren't you forgetting something?" Tapping his finger against his cheek for a kiss.

"Oh yeah-" I reached over and took Dean's US title. "Thanks." I went to walk away, but he pulled me back, taking his US title, placing it around his waist and then made it face backwards like I had seen him wear it a few times. He followed this action by pulling me to him, locking me in a tight hug. I looked up from being squashed into his chest and tip toed up to kiss him.

"Good luck on your match."

"Thanks." I pulled away and tried to twist his arm round his back, but Dean reversed it effortlessly. "Hey!" Dean grinned as he chewed away at his gum. "I wish you were fighting tonight."

"You like watching me, huh?"

"Yes." I said shyly. "Especially when Big Show rips off your shirt." My hands smoothed over his abs through his tight black shirt. "I think that was one of my favourite Wrestlemanias."

"You know-" Dean started as his eyes were occupied by my hands touching him, "You have ten-fifteen minutes until your match-" I smirked at him as I waited for him to continue. "My locker-room is free." He finished suggestively.

"You want to...warm up together?" I answered innocently.

He clicked his tongue against his cheek, "That's one way to describe it."

"Some stretches?" I asked him, running my hands lower down his chest. "Squats?" Dean looked around as my hands seemingly got lower. "And maybe-"

"Aria-" He groaned, stopping my hands from going any further. He bounded my hands together with his. "If this is a tease, stop-" He said sternly. "But if not-" He jerked his head in the direction of his locker room.

"C'mon dude-" Seth came from behind Dean. "We've got a promo to film."

"And you might want to sort yourself out first." Roman coughed awkwardly.

Dean glared at me, "I didn't do anything." Roman and Seth looked at me doubtfully. "Believe in the Shield?"

"Nice save." Roman smiled at me.

"Give me a minute." Dean told them.

"Maybe this will help." Roman said, placing his hands on my shoulders and turning me away from Dean.

"Uh...no Roman, it doesn't." I turned my head slightly to see Dean's eyes redirected.

"How about this, Brad Maddox-" I was going to finish with 'naked', but Dean cut me off.

"Problem solved, let's go." Dean spoke. I smiled as the three of them headed off and disappeared from sight.

"Awwww."

I spun around to face my arch nemesis. "Ryback." I said smoothly. "We meet again."

"Sit down." He demanded. What? I looked around, "I said, sit down." He barked.

"There are no chairs!" I protested.

Fantastic, Ryback was looking to show the world once again that he was a bully and I was his next victim. He took a step closer to me, trying to put increasing pressure on. "Sit... down."

"This isn't a barbeque Ryback so stop getting all up in my grill." Ryback squinted his eyes, obviously not amused by my hilarious remark.

Ryback had potential; he just used it in the wrong way. "Are you deaf or stupid? I said sit down."

"Whoa, I was just mentally complimenting you then!" I scoffed outrageously, "Won't make that mistake again!"

"This is my corridor."

"-And it's lovely, don't get me wrong." This was obviously failing on his behalf, but then I saw Charlie from behind Ryback. This was an idiot move on my part as he followed to see where I was looking to see her.

She let out a squeak. "Sit down."

She sat down on the floor.

I slapped my hand into my head as I walked over to Charlie, "Get up." I told her.

She stood up, "I didn't tell you to stand up." Ryback growled, she was about to go down again, but I stopped her.

"What are you doing?" I asked her, "Will-power!"

"He's scary." She whispered to me. "I want Seth."

"We don't need Seth." I cleared my throat and turned back to Ryback. "You're not going to hurt us." I punched my fist into my hand, indicating to Ryback I was a tough cookie.

"That's right." Oh man, I didn't get the chance to show what a macho woman I really was. Seth appeared. Wasn't he supposed to be doing a promo?

He just had to ruin everything, didn't he?

"If you know what's good for you, you will step off. Now." Seth said sternly to Ryback, squaring up to him.

The situation was made worse for Ryback when Dean and Roman joined Seth from behind. All with stern looks on their faces. Ryback started to laugh as he took a few steps back; he looked down at me, grunted and walked away.

"Yeah, that's what I thought." I said after he left.

"Thank you." Charlie ran into Seth's arms.

"I'd just like to point out, I had that perfectly handled." I placed my hands on my hips. "I thought you had a promo to do."

"We do." Seth answered as he comforted Charlie. "I forgot to give you this back-" Seth slipped something into Charlie's hand.

"Did he touch you?" Dean asked, still glaring in the direction in which Ryback went.

"No." I replied. "I really did have that handled."

"You mean you thought you had that handled."

"No-" I corrected him in the same tone. "Charlie was the one who sat down!"

"I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up." Charlie said dramatically to Seth who enjoyed playing the role of the hero.

"We were fine!" I stressed. "I had a few hurtful putdowns, we were covered!"

"You're sticking with us." Dean put his hand on my lower back to guide me with them.

"I have a match!" I protested.

"Then we'll escort you there." He dismissed. I sighed but let them do so, mainly so I could keep spending time with Dean.

"Is everyone forgetting that I have handled him by myself in the past? I eat Ryback's for breakfast!"

"That's an image I didn't want." Roman said, "You know," he walked to my side, "I made a joke about you getting yourself into trouble in the five minutes we were gone."

"He started it." I replied.

"It's lucky you showed up when you did." I heard Charlie say to Seth. "My hero."

Hearing this, I tutted, which made Dean and Roman smirk at each other. "Alright heroes-" I mocked. "This is my stop."

"All right my damsel-" Dean commented annoyingly. "We're rooting for you."

"You've got this." Roman patted my back. "If you're in doubt, use the spear."

"Glad to have your permission." I started walking away from them, "Bye guys."

Brie was already waiting for her entrance music. She had seen Dean and I, "You and Dean are so cute." Her hands pressed against her heart.

"Yeah..." I replied bashfully.

"Hello, ladies." AJ sneered as she walked by us. She eyed up my Diva's title in the process. I tapped it taunting at her.

One by one we went out to the ring. It was constantly in my mind that Dean was watching this backstage.

As the bell rang, both Brie and I turn to AJ. She immediately slithered out of the ring and signalled for Brie and I to initiate the first contact of the match. We both shrugged at each other and locked up. I managed to hook Brie's arm and get her in a wrist lock. She stamped on my foot, breaking the hold, and then pushed me back into the ropes.

As I bounced off the ropes, I was thrown into the air with a back body drop from Brie. Disorientated, I laid on the floor and realised AJ was skipping around the outside of ring. What a weirdo. Brie picked me up by the hair and went to hit my head against a turnbuckle, but I managed to block and deliver a swift elbow. I then jumped off the second rope, twisted mid-air and rolled Brie up with a sunset flip.

One… two... She forced her shoulder up just in time.

AJ was still skipping around outside and the crowd seemed more concerned with her as they were chanting 'AJ's crazy'. I decided to put an end to this and left the ring to chase her. Her skip soon turned to a sprint and we both darted around the ring. The crowd loved it. And just as I was catching up to AJ, I saw Brie slide out of the ring and trap AJ.

We both grabbed her and threw her back into the ring. We took turns kicking her and then hit her with a double suplex. Brie went for the pin but I broke it up.

AJ jumped back to her feet and we faced down in the middle of the ring. She slapped me and I gave her a stiff forearm. I pushed her back into the ropes and as she rebounded, I leapfrogged her. I went for a cover but Brie dragged me off and clotheslines me out of the ring. As I regained my bearings, I saw Brie on the top rope and quickly raced up to her to knock her off, sending her plummeting to the outside.

I myself climbed to the top rope and delivered a cross body to AJ.

One… two… she just kicked out. As I made my way to my feet she poked me in the eye. The referee was checking on Brie and missed it.

I was blinded and felt myself rolled up in a small package.

One… two… I only just forced myself out of the pin.

AJ screamed, but I was still struggling to see. I swung some punches but nothing connected. AJ was now laughing and toying with me. Frustrated, I swung a big high kick and somehow it made contact. Thud. Through my blurred vision, I crawl to a knocked out AJ

One… two... three!

I heard my music hit and the referee helped me up, passing me my belt and hoisting my hand into the air. I hold the back of my head as I smiled to the crowd. By this time, Brie had rolled back into the ring, offering me her hand which I took.

I was excited to get back to the locker room and see Dean.

I didn't even have to wait until I was in the locker room; I was greeted by the Shield, Charlie, Becky and Brad as I came out from the curtains. I was instantly lifted up by Dean. "Dean!" I squealed, he slid me back down his body and gave me a hard kiss.

"Way to go, champ." He winked.

"Great match, Aria." Roman patted by back.

"Thanks guys." I laughed as I combed my hair back. "I'm exhausted. At least I can see again."

Dean was now standing behind me, his chest pressing against my back and his arms wrapped around me. "Aria, Aria-" Brad pushed his way through Roman and Seth with his camera in hand. "How are you feeling?"

I saw Seth's eyes flick above me and then he laughed, so I guessed Dean had given him a look. "Tired, but happy." I answered. "And hungry." I looked up at Dean.

He shook his head, smirking down at me, "How did you know I got you something?"

"You got me something?!" I asked excitedly. "Give me!" I held out my hands. I then noticed Brad still had the camera out, still filming Dean and I for his precious channel.

"It's in your locker room." Dean replied; then realising as well Brad was still filming. "C'mon, let's go." He jerked his head down the corridor.

"Don't be late, man." Seth called after us.

Dean turned around and circled his fingers in the 'Ok' symbol at Seth. "Where are we going?" I asked Dean.

He led me down a quiet corridor, "This is where we filmed the promo-" Dean explained. I put my title on the floor and leaned against the wall. "It's nice and quiet and we can be alone." He rested his hands on my hips and instantly leaned in for a kiss.

He put his hand on the back of my neck, deepening the kiss. His hand rested on the wall, supporting himself whilst the other travelling down the side of my body and cupped my butt. He started kissing along my jaw line, down my neck and across my cleavage. He knew not to push it anymore as his lips went back to meet mine. His body moved in closer, completely trapping mine in. My hand rested on his cheek as I felt his tongue battle against mine.

I pulled away after a couple of minutes to catch my breath, "Wow." I panted against him.

He grinned, running his tongue over his bottom lip. He remained standing so close to me as his thumb stroked my bare sides with his thumb absentmindedly. He traced circles with his forefinger on my waist as I sighed with contentment.

It was strange because it was one of those silences where it could be broken with the words 'I love you' and I was surprised to find it was on the tip of my tongue. I swallowed it down though.

Dean dug his phone out of his pocket and checked the time. "How long have we got?" I asked, which was a much safer option to go with.

"Not long." He put both arms around me. "You'll be rooting for me, right?" He winked.

"You're not even wrestling." He leaned down to kiss me, but stopped just before reaching my lips, encouraging me to say the words. "Fine, I'll root for you."

"That's what I wanted to hear." He picked up my title off the ground and handed it to me. The two of us headed out back into the hall.

"I'll take you back." His hand slipped into mine as he walked in front.

"You don't trust me!"

"After the Ryback thing? No."

It was nice being out with him in public like this. I could never tell anyone about Randy and I; we couldn't walk down the corridor hand in hand and here I was, doing it with Dean, someone who looked proud to have me on his arm. "Tell Roman I'll be rooting for him." I teased Dean as we reached our destination.

He raised a brow, "Tell Roman?"

"Yeah, he's pretty boss."

"Anyone else you want to root for?"

"Oh yeah! Seth!"

"Bitch." He teased.

I gasped, "For that you don't get a kiss." I went to go into my locker room, but Dean pulled me back.

"Na-uh." He held my head still as he pressed his lips against mine.

"Dean!" I pushed him away, but it was too late, he got it.

"Thanks for that, babe-" He winked, walking backwards. I shook my head at him playfully, waiting until he was gone from my sight before going into the locker room.

"Look at those red cheeks." I heard Becky say, I rolled my eyes at her jokily.

"What have you been up to, you slut?" Brad asked from the couch.

"I like him..." I said shyly.

"Aww." Becky and Charlie chimed.

"Wait!" Brad disconnected his camera from his laptop and turned it to face me. "Can you say that again?"

"Nope."

"So, where did Dean take you?" Becky asked, as I sat down next to her.

"Brad, turn off the camera." Charlie told him, knowing where it was going.

He scoffed, "No."

"Turn off the camera." Becky said sternly.

"Yes honey." Brad said sweetly and put the camera away. Charlie displayed an annoyed look on her face that Brad had responded to Becky and not her, "Hey, you don't suck my dick."

"Urgh, Brad." I said disgustedly.

"Whoa, no need to be jealous, Aria."

"Let's just ignore him for the time being." Becky dismissed. "So...?"

"We just went to where they filmed the promo." I told them.

"And...?" Charlie pushed, grinning.

"We just hung out." I smiled.

"Boring." Brad commented. "When are you going to do the nasty?"

"These are what Dean left for you." Becky handed me a box of chocolates.

"I'm pretty sure he is a secret romantic." I laughed as I took the box from her. "Yum!"

Siere Hotel India Eco Lima Delta Shield

"Here's lover boy now."

"I don't even know who I want to win this match." Charlie said softly. "Of course I should want Seth, but I don't want Cody and Dustin to lose their job."

It was hard to control the fan-girl within me as I watched Dean go through the crowd. Every move, every facial expression was just perfect and it made me excited to see him again.

"Sorry ladies, the Shield have to lose this one." Ted commented, walking into the room. "My boy Cody has got this!"

Cody and Seth started the match off. Seth got Cody in a headlock and rocked off the ropes. Cody pushed Seth off and hit him with a clothesline. Dean trailed round the outside of the ring, yelling some taunts at Cody.

Seth was straight back to his feet and went to punch Cody but he blocked. Cody kicked Seth in the gut and swiftly delivered a suplex. He dragged Seth to his corner and tagged in Goldust.

"What are we going to do if they lose?" Charlie asked me.

"...Run?" I suggested.

"At least it's not for their titles." Becky tried to reassure us.

"We'd have to leave the country if it was."

Brad laughed loudly, "You guys would be screwed!"

"Thanks."

Goldy stomped on Seth and whipped him into the ropes. Goldust dropped to one knee and slapped Seth in the face. Goldust went for the cover but only got to two. Seth slapped Goldust and kicked out his knee, bringing Goldust to the floor. Seth kneed Goldust repeatedly in the gut. Seth continued to work Goldust down with kicks and submissions before tagging in Roman.

"And this is where you will see the match fall apart." Brad spoke. However, Roman dominated Goldust with a series of suplexs and a press slam. Brad let out a nervous chuckle, "Just wait..."He laid out Goldust in the middle of the ring and tagged in Seth. "See! He knew he couldn't handle it." Becky rolled her eyes.

Seth went to the top rope looking to hit Goldust with a knee to the head. Goldust rolled out of harm's way as Seth plummeted to the mat. "Oh no!" Charlie let out a loud squeak. "I mean..." She cleared her throat. "C'mon Seth!"

Goldust leapt to tag in Cody, who went at Seth with real momentum. He hit a big drop kick and an inverted knee drop. But as he went to hit the disaster kick, Roman came round the apron and hit Cody with a fierce punch. "Whoa, referee, are you blind?!" Brad yelled out. "That should have been a disqualification right there!"

"Do you remember when you were a ref?" I randomly reminded, causing an 'Oh yeah!' to break out amongst the group.

"And I climbed that ladder, look at me now." He leaned back, smoothly placing an arm around Becky's shoulder, "You're dating the General Manager of Raw, how do you feel?"

"Probably drowsy from all those drugs." I responded for her.

Seth crawled to the pin, but as it reached a two count Goldust broke it up. Roman came in and clotheslined Goldust over the top ropes. Both men were sent crashing to the outside.

We could all feel that the end was near; it just led the question...

Who would win?

Seth picked up Cody and shouted that it's time to end this. "WOOOH!" Charlie called out.

"C'mon Codes!" Ted cheered; clapping his hands as he intensely stared at the screen.

But as he went to pick manoeuvre Cody, he got rolled up…one…two..three.

Goldust and Cody win.

Ted was celebrating, the rest of us stayed silent. "Well-" Brad stretched. "Good luck ladies."

"Seth and I were supposed to go out for dinner tonight." Charlie said quietly. "I guess that's not happening anymore..."

"You never know..." I tried to reassure her, but even I didn't sound convincing. "I'll go see the damage." I said as I stood up. I was glad Cody and Goldust could stay… but at what price from our boyfriends?

"Wait-" Charlie stood up. "I'll come." She gulped.

"You sure?"

"I guess I can start learning what to do when this happens. He's not always going to win."

"I am proud of you ladies." Brad patted our backs. We barely got out of the room before we heard Brad say, "Lol, they're screwed."

I met Dean in the corridor. He nodded at the other two to go ahead and they did so without acknowledging me. I knew this loss had hit them hard. I was even starting to regret coming to find Dean if the dark look in his eyes was anything to go by.

"Hi..." I said cautiously as Charlie went after Seth, who had barely said 'hello' to her.

He must've sensed my nervousness because he shook his head, "You're fine, Aria."

"So..." I said, "those guys looked pretty angry." As soon as I said those words, I was worried I was going to get some snarky reply back.

"That's because they are." He said flatly. "We're going out for some drinks."

"Oh-"

"Just us guys." He added, not really looking at me.

I was slightly offended, "You didn't have to say that. I wasn't going to invite myself."

He glanced at me and shook his head, "I'm sorry. That match... its left a sour taste in my mouth."

"I get it." I said, gently touching his arm, "I just came to see if you were all right?"

"No, Aria, I'm-" He started to snap, but as his eyes met mine, he forced himself to calm down. "I'll come by and see you in the morning." His tone trying to stay steady, "Maybe we can talk about planning something for my birthday." I knew he was trying to ease my discomfort and I appreciated the effort.

"Sure." I agreed.

Dean hesitated for a moment before dipping his head to kiss me. His hand smoothed over my cheek and through my hair. It was the reassurance I needed when he was in this kind of mood.

As he pulled away, I sighed softly. "Just be careful tonight." I gave him a small smile. "Drinking isn't particularly a good thing to do when you're in a bad mood."

"Don't worry, Aria." He responded. "I'll be fine."

"I'll see you then."

He leant in and kissed my forehead before he followed in the direction Seth and Roman went in.

I walked away and ran into Charlie, who did not look pleased. I guessed she had just had a similar sort of situation. We smiled understandingly at each other before going to go and get Becky and Brad so we could go home.

We ended up spending the evening in the living room, watching a couple of movies and hanging out. My mind kept frequently going to Dean and the other two, wondering how they were holding up. I glanced down at my phone, debating with myself whether to send Dean a text, but I guessed right now, he needed space. Brad had gone into his room for an early night, so it was just us girls.

"Guys..." I said, "I think I have some news."

"You're finally going to have that sex-change operation?" Becky suggested.

"You've been spending way too much time with Brad."

"You're pregnant!" Charlie wondered, her eyes widening.

"And it's not Dean's!?" Becky suggested, grinning.

"No." I said, "But that's actually close. Sort of."

"It is Dean's baby?" Charlie gasped.

"No!" I said, chuckling, "But... I have decided that I'm ready."

They both gasped. "Well, I know someone who's going to be happy to hear that." Becky grinned.

"You slut!"

We looked up to see Brad leaning against the doorframe, shaking his head in disapproval.

"I don't think that means what you think it does." Charlie said, "She's waited this long..."

"Slut." Brad repeated.

"Um," I said, "didn't you two sleep together on your first date?" I gestured to Becky.

"Yes, that's exactly my point. I know what I'm talking about." Brad said, causing Becky to throw a pillow at him.

"Ignore him." Becky said, "So, what's brought on this decision?"

"Because he's so sweet. I've been really happy lately... I mean, there's no reason not to anymore. I trust him." I said.

"Good for you." Charlie said, smiling, "Have you decided when you're going to tell him?"

"I was thinking... maybe his birthday? I mean, it's a few days away and that'll be a pretty good surprise, right?"

"Yeah, I think he might be happy with that." Becky sniggered.

"Sweet," Brad said, "a birthday blowjob."

Becky immediately threw another pillow at him.

"Anyway," Brad said, "are we done talking about Aria now? Because I have some important information of my on." He pointed to his hair, "I've changed gel."

"That's great." I said flatly, "What's Ted doing tonight?"

"Aksana."

I rolled my eyes, "I wish you had decided to go out with him instead of hanging around here."

"Where are your Shield buddies? Not that I'm complaining." He said.

"They went out to commiserate their match."

Brad sniggered, "Oh, you mean the match that they lost? Yeah, that must've been pretty embarrassing. I personally feel like Roman let the team down." He looked around, "So, they didn't invite you out too? Well, don't feel too bad, I'm sure it's nothing personal."

"We didn't want to go!" Charlie insisted.

"Awfully defensive there, Charlotte, aren't we?"

"Awfully annoying there, aren't we?" I shot back.

"Think of all the strip clubs they're at now." Brad said, earning himself his third pillow in the face. "Hey, I could be out there with them but I decided to stay in with my girlfriend!"

We all visibly cringed at his last word and Charlie hit Becky on the arm, "Why did you cringe?!"

"Force of habit." She admitted.

"Yeah, yeah, your friend has a hot boyfriend," Brad said, waving a hand, "get over it." Then he went over and kissed her in front of both of us.

"Urgh!" Charlie and I both yelled, covering our eyes, "Make it stop!" I pleaded.

"Oh." Brad said, noticing our reactions, "I could get used to this." He went in again but she gently pushed him away, "What up? I was going for tongues that time."

"Leave." She pleaded. He just scoffed and sat down on the end of the sofa.

"So," Charlie said, turning to me, "are you going to wear anything special?"

"Probably not. I mean, Dean said he doesn't like lingerie."

Brad laughed loudly, "There's no way. Every guy likes lingerie." He nudged Becky, "Take note."

"I don't even have any!" I exclaimed.

"Well, that's fine. I'll take you shopping for it. I know what guys like after all." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully, "Us and the Bella's, maybe. I'll give them a call; I know they've been dying to get their hands on you."

"You have the Bella's numbers?" Becky demanded.

"Uh," Brad widened his eyes, "well, yeah, but I have everyone's number. I'm the general manager after all."

"Can we prank call Ryback?" I asked eagerly.

"Oh, no, I don't have his." Brad shrugged.

"Seb Colter? Jack Swagger? Fandango?"

"No, I don't have them either." Brad admitted.

"I thought you said you had everyone's number." Charlie reminded.

"Charlotte!" Brad said urgently, "Shut up!"

"Since when did you call me Charlotte? Bradley."

"When you're being a bitch!"

"Anyway," Becky said, cutting between them, "how about we finish this movie?"

"Well, I need to go and get my sleep. I just woke up because you ladies were being loud, so please keep it down." Brad said, "I mean; I don't want to hear about your periods. I'm very sensitive to that sort of thing."

"We've noticed. And we weren't even talking about that!" I said.

"Goodnight, ladies." He said before kissing Becky once again, just to get a reaction from Charlie and I. "Haha." He saluted at us before disappearing into their bedroom, laughing evilly as he went.

We all fell asleep watching the next movie but were woken up at about four by a banging at the noise. We all yawned and looked at each other before Becky got to her feet. She looked through the peephole and groaned, "Why is it the drunks always come to us? Aria, I'm blaming you."

She opened the door and the Shield stumbled in. It was immediately clear that the three of them were drunk out of their minds.

"Aria!" Dean said, looking at me, "Aria!" He paused, "Come here!"

I crossed my arms, "You guys look like you've had a respectful night out."

Roman came over and collapsed into the armchair. He rested his head back and was immediately asleep. Seth stumbled around, grabbed Becky and began hugging her, "Charlie, Charlie." He murmured.

"I am not Charlie!" Becky said, untangling herself.

"I've had one hell of a night, Charlie." Seth slurred, his weight all on Becky who was struggling to keep standing up right.

"Seth, I'm over here." Charlie said.

"Charlie! Charlie-" Becky pushed him in Charlie's direction, "I am so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so sorry about being snappish with you earlier. Just completely sorry." He put his arms around her, "Sorry seems to be the hardest word." He sung (badly) before hugging her. She couldn't stay mad at him and started laughing, giving me an aren't-our-boyfriends-funny look.

Becky looked at us all before throwing up her hands, "I'm going to bed. Good luck and goodnight."

Dean still stood there, swaying slightly. I hoped he wouldn't start singing to me like Seth had done to Charlie.

"How much have you had?"

Dean put his fingers together to indicate it was a tiny amount he had drunk, that was obviously not the case.

"And you're upset, that's never a good combination."

"I'm not upset, Aria-" Dean came towards me but stumbled in his last few steps. I tried to steady him but he fell forward. I backed up against the wall and he placed his hands against it to stop himself from falling. Usually I found it hot when he did this but not this time. Because of his state, it made me feel uneasy. "I have you and you know a way to cheer me up-" He wiggled his brows.

"Come on, Dean, let's get you to bed." I said, pushing gently against him.

He didn't move. "Now that," he said, slurring and elongating his words, "is a damn good idea." He then began kissing my neck, putting on more pressure than usual, his hand tugging down on my shirt to reveal more.

I turned away from him, fixing my shirt, "Dean, come on, stop it." I said.

"I'm awake!" Roman said suddenly, sitting up and looking around, hyper-alert. He fell back into his seat but his eyes stayed open, although they'd flutter shut a few times.

"Not while you're drunk." I said, as he started to get handsy, "Dean, stop it. Dean. Not like this."

I pushed him away just as Brad came out of his and Becky's bedroom. He looked around at all of us and sighed, "Fucking typical. I can't get one night without a Shield free house." He ducked his head back into their room to speak to Becky, "I thought you were kidding!" He then headed over towards the kitchen, "Oh, hey Dean! Look, not naked." He pointed at himself.

"Fuck off Maddox." Dean said, leaning against me.

"Yeah, fuck off Maddox!" Seth agreed suddenly. Charlie led him towards the kitchen to try and sober him up.

Brad looked outraged, "Well!" He said and went towards the kitchen, muttering to himself, "Don't they know I'm the general manager?"

"Dean, come on," I said uncomfortably, pushing him away. He dropped his hands, freeing me, but he then groped me. Quite hard.

"Hey!" I pushed him away again, "Stop it. You know I'm not ready for this." I was... now... but I definitely did not want it to be like this.

"You're not ready." He repeated, "You're not ready." He said it slower that time before he started laughing.

I knew he was drunk and he wasn't accountable for what he was saying... but my mind was wondering, is this what he really felt? Is this what he held himself back from saying?

"Tell you what, Aria." Dean said, turning to me, a sneer on his face, his hands clasped together patronisingly, "Why don't you print that on a t-shirt and wear it every fucking place you go?"

"Oooooooh!" Brad said, "Ouch!"

"Yeah!" Roman said abruptly, suddenly pointing, "Fuck off, Maddox!"

Brad glared at Roman, "I've never liked you. I might as well tell you this because you're drunk and won't remember. I. Do. Not. Like. You."

Roman got to his feet and a look of surprise quickly came on Brad's face and he dived into his bedroom, "Becky!"

I stared at Dean.

I couldn't believe he had just said that to me.

"I know you're drunk," I said slowly, fighting the anger that was bubbling inside of me, "but that does not give you the right to be such an asshole."

I walked away from him and was halfway across the room. I could hear Dean yelling drunkenly after me. "Hey, come back. Hey, come back here! I want to ask you something! Aria! I want to ask you something!" He rambled.

I felt myself being lifted up. Dean carried me back to the spot we had started out. I was half thrown over his shoulder.

"Dean!" I tried to squirm out of his grasp, he let me down, but he didn't let me go.

"You act like you're an innocent little virgin," Dean demanded, way too close to me, "but... but... but come on, how long did it take you to spread your legs for Orton? Huh? Huh? Is it because I'm not him? Is it because I'm not the WWE champion? Would you do it if I were him?"

"Dean," my voice broke but I struggled to get it under control, "stop saying these things. You're drunk."

"Well, someone has to say them!" He said, throwing out his hands, making me press harder against the wall. He kept stumbling on his words, "Are you just fucking leading me on? Were you ever planning on it?"

"Stop it." I said, trying to sound stern. I turned my head away from him as he got closer. He wrapped his arms around me tightly before burying his nose in my hair and taking a deep sniff.

"Oh, fuck," he muttered, "I love the way you smell. I do. I do, Aria. It drives me fucking wild." He took another sniff.

I tried to get away from him because I couldn't see a way out of this.

"Let's try this again, shall we, Aria? Shall we? What do you think? Aria?" He then started kissing me again. I pushed him away again, shaking slightly, "Aria, you're shaking." He said, staring at me. His voice lowered to a whisper, "I kind of like that you're shaking a little bit, I kinda of enjoy this a little bit... a little…" He reached down to my feet, "You're not wearing any shoes, it's makes you short, but I like it."

I stared at him before saying, "If you want to be like Randy so much, then you're going the right way of doing it."

He backed away then, looking at me with an odd look on his face. "Why did you run away from me?" I tried to side step past him, but he towered over me as he forced me back. "Why did you run away from me, Aria?" He rambled as he took hold of my hands and started expecting my fingers. "I could make you feel real good, Aria, all you have to do is let me in, literally-" He forced his hand into mine and used it to pull me into him. His face dove into my neck and started sucking on the skin.

"No, no, Dean-" I tried to push against his chest, but he grabbed my wrists.

"You're surprised that I'm trying it on with you?" He laughed as his placed a hard kiss on my cheek. "You can't imagine that I believe you would want to." I looked away from him, trying to figure out how to defuse the situation. "You're a liar-" He moved his hand to my cheek, forcing me to look at him. "You want to as much as I do." I opened my mouth to speak, but he talked over me, "And I'll prove it." He pressed his lips against mine.

The taste of all the alcohol that night flooded into my mouth. "Dean, don't." He stared at me in confusion and I thought I even saw hurt there. "What's wrong with you?" He went to kiss me again, but I put my hand between us, "Stop it, you're better than this, c'mon-" I pleaded.

"That's where you're wrong."

"No, no, no-" I leaned back as he tried to go for it again.

Then, Becky and Brad's door opened and Becky came out. "Jesus, what is it with you and the drunks?" She demanded. "Hey! Ambrose! Over here." She snapped her fingers.

Dean looked at her, "Whaddya want? You're not my type sweetheart."

Becky looked him up and down, "And right now, that's a huge shame." She said dryly.

"You," Dean pointed at her, "you have terrible taste in men."

"Hey!" Brad yelled from the safety of the bedroom.

Becky stared down Dean Ambrose. First Randy, now Dean. She really did have a death wish. "Do you remember when you found out Randy had paid us a drunken midnight visit?" She said, "You were so angry. And now you're doing exactly what he did."

Dean continued to stare at her.

"You speak of Justice." Becky continued, "This your idea of it?"

Dean laughed, "That ain't gonna work on me, sweetheart. Go back to your charity case."

"Whoa... no one calls me a charity case and gets away with it!" Brad said, stomping out although he stood slightly behind Becky. "Get him, Becky!"

Dean laughed again but then Seth and Charlie were suddenly there. Charlie looked afraid but Seth was glaring at Dean. He had clearly sobered.

"Come on, man," Seth said firmly, "it's time to go."

"I'm not going anywhere 'till I get mine." Dean said.

"How about you call me when you're sober?" I said, shoving his hands away.

"We're leaving. Roman." Seth said. Roman got to his feet and swayed slightly.

Dean laughed and looked around before finally looking at me. I hated the look he was giving me. He held up his hands in defeat, "Fine, let's go." He said. His eyes were still on me, "You know, if I'd known it was going to be this hard, I wouldn't have bothered in the first place."

The three Shield boys headed out. As soon as the door closed, Brad muttered, "Yeah, fuck off Shield."

"Aria?" Becky asked quietly.

"Well." I said, struggling to smile, "It's nice to know he's a nasty drunk." I shrugged, turning away, "It's fine. He's drunk."

Brad cleared his throat, "I'd just like to point out that I totally called this from the start. I told you those Shield boys were trouble. I mean, I'm not psychic or anything. Just smart!"

"Brad." Becky said simply, pointing into their room, "Go."

"But-"

"Brad."

Brad sighed but headed inside. Becky looked at me.

"Aria..." Charlie said.

"Night." I said, turning away and going straight into my room.

I heard them talking quietly outside before it finally went silent. I thought about what my boyfriend had just said to me.

What Dean had just said to me.

I knew he was drunk. I knew he'd be kicking himself for that in the morning. That didn't take the sting out of his words though.
