(Chung's POV)
"Yay it's almost winter break and the winter dance is coming up!" Rena squealed in my ear for the fifth time. She was blabbing about that all through the way to school. She's making such a big deal out of these two events, okay scratch that; she's making a big deal out of a simple dance.
"You're getting excited over a dance." I implied. She gave me a funny look and crossed her arms, without her even saying a word I already know she's asking for an explanation. "There are lots of other dances during the school year; you don't have to make such a big deal out of a simple winter dance."
"Yeah but this dance could be the thing that brings Eve and Elsword together!" She chimed. She has a good point but the chances of that happening are quite slim.
"I doubt this dance will bring them together." With that I earned a smack on the arm. She sent me a cold glare and dramatically turned her head away from me. "What the heck was that for?"
"So you'd rather have Ara end up with Elboy?" She spat.
"I'm just saying that the chances of them ending up together are not very high, but I'd rather have them together than to have Ara with the blunt red head."
"That's what I thought." Rena said with a smirk. "I'm going to buy us tickets to the dance!"
"What if someone doesn't want to go?" I asked, with my arms crossed. She tapped her index finger on her chin as she began to think over my statement.
"You have a good point." She exclaims. "But I'm still going to make everyone go!" Oh Rena you haven't changed one bit, you always force people into doing things that you want them to do. "The only person who won't want to go is that silver haired lovebird."
"You have a good point." I chuckled. Eve is most likely going to protest about going, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that she's that type of person who doesn't find anything fun. "Plus are you sure Eve will be willing to go to those events you have planned for us?" I raised my brow.
"Oh don't worry she'll come." Rena smiles evilly to herself. I'm kind of scared to find out what's going through that little head of hers. I'll take a guess here, but I think she's conducting some kind of evil plan to make Eve participate in those little plans of hers.
"Morning guys." Aisha waved at us. Raven had his arm wrapped around her protectively as they walked through the crowd of people. "This is the last week before break!"
"I have everything planned out; I'll explain on Friday what they are." Rena stated proudly. As long as no one gets killed I'll be fine with whatever she has planned. Aisha gave her a questioning look but Rena ignored her.
"By the way you guys better come to the events I've planned out. Or else there will be consequences!" She looks at the couple with a serious expression. Aisha and Raven exchanged glances before nodding.
"Hey guys." Ara greeted with her usual smile. We waved back at her; she examined the group probably trying to find Elsword. "Elsword and Eve aren't here yet?"
"Not yet, it's kind of unusual for them to show up late." Aisha pulls out her phone and checks the time.
"Maybe Eve slept in or something, and poor elboy had to wait for her to get ready or something like that." Rena stated. The sound of Eve and Elsword together made Ara clench her jaw, and her hands formed a tight fist; scary how jealousy can affect someone.
"Sorry we're late!" I heard Elsword shout. We turned around to see Elsword running towards us, while Eve was being carried bridal style by him; Rena and Aisha awed at the scene.
"Er thanks for the ride." Eve awkwardly got out of Elsword's arms. Elsword took several deep breaths in before answering her.
"I know you can't run for long distances, so it'd be best to carry you through the whole way." Hm I wonder why that is. Eve slightly blushed and turned to greet us.
"What took so long?" I questioned. Eve narrowed her eyes on Elboy as he continued to breathe heavily.
"This kid had to take a poop." She stated bluntly. We bursted into laughter, while Elsword's face grew red due to embarrassment.
"You just had to say that didn't you?" Elsword glared at Eve. She ignored his glare and nodded.
"That's what you get for making us late." And right on queue the bell rang. We groaned and began to shuffle our way through the large ocean of people.
"Did you enjoy your poop?" I asked him with a chuckle; Elsword punched me on the arm.
"Shut up." He hissed.
"Whatever you say poop boy." I quickly walked off before he could give my arm another punch.
(Aisha's POV)
"I hate how teachers give us so many projects and tests on the week before break." Rena glared at the piece of paper in front of her.
"This project is fairly easy, you'll finish pretty soon if you work hard." I stated, as I continue to read through the steps to the assigned project.
"I wish it was partner work." At the corner of my eye I saw Eve rolling her eyes at Rena.
"It's not that hard, so suck it up and just do the work." She scolded. Rena glared at her before returning to pout about the project. "You know you'll only end up with more work if you keep on complaining." Rena grumbled something under her breath before beginning to read through the steps.
"I've got to agree with Rena though; it's pretty stupid how they give us so much work on the week before break. My brain is already in vacation mode, all I can think about is video games and sleeping. How can they expect me to put in effort to my work?" Eve face palmed at my statement. Man this girl really doesn't know how to relax; doesn't she get tired of all this work?
"Not you too Aisha." I shrugged and Eve shook her head. "Life isn't all about breaks you know? You've got to work hard in the real world, there's hardly any time for fun."
Rena gasped at her remark. "There's always time to relax and have fun!" Eve shook her head and returned her attention to the piece of paper in front of her.
"Speaking of fun you do know you're going to be dragged along to all of those events that Rena has planned right?" Eve groaned as she remembered that fact.
"I really don't have a say in this right?" Rena nodded. Eve rolled her eyes and mumbled something about this is going to be a very long break. Oh lighten up Eve, it'll be fun.
"Anyways the dance is coming up, and you know you're going right?" Rena reminded her. Eve looked at me with pleading eyes, I simply shook my head. We've got this all planned out, I'm not going to ruin this amazing operation.
"Look I'm fine with every other plan but please don't make me go to the dance." Rena shook her head.
"You have to go and that's final. This is the one dance you must go to! I won't bother you with any other dances, well except prom, but that's a whole other topic to talk to be discussed about later." Rena stated proudly.
"I'm not going." Eve repeated herself. Rena flicked her hair.
"You'll go don't worry." She winked. Eve slumped back in her seat and groaned as Rena continued to rant about the dance.
(Eve's POV)
Rena and Aisha kept on bothering me about the stupid dance for the rest of the week, after the 10th reminder of that thing, it starts to get annoying. I dragged through the rest of the week with those annoying reminders along with all those tests and projects. It was finally Friday and that means this torture is about to end. I sat down at my usual spot and took out my lunch, I could hear angels singing as I took the hotdog out of the bag.
"No way!" Elsword literally came running in. His eyes seemed to sparkle at the hotdog; I giggled and ripped a piece of it off for him. "Thank you, you are amazing!" Elsword attacked me with a bone crushing hug.
"Hey guys what's up?" Ara plopped down beside Els. Elsword hugged his hot dog protectively.
"Don't touch this hot dog." He warned. Ara gave him a funny look. "Eve's dad makes the best hot dogs in the world."
"Aren't all hot dogs the same?" Ara raised her brow.
"It's not the same, I don't know how he does it but it tastes out of this world!" Elsword slowly took a bite out of the hotdog and smiled to himself as he slowly chewed it down.
"The hot dog is back!" Aisha ran towards me. Well looks like someone came here early today, that's unusual. "Please can I have a piece?" Darn those puppy dog eyes, I sighed and ripped off another piece for her.
"Eve you are amazing!" Aisha squealed. Raven and the rest of the gang walked in and gave us funny looks as we awed over the hot dog.
"But it's just any other hot dog in the end." Ara stated once again. Els and Aisha ignored her and continued to eat the piece of hot dog slowly, ignoring the funny looks they earned from the others.
"Here try some and see for yourself." I ripped a piece and handed it to her. She took the hot dog and plopped it in her mouth. Her eyes grew wide and a wide smile grew on her face.
"My goodness this thing is amazing." She squealed. Rena gave me a funny look, it was either for the strange hot dog or that I was being nice to Ara. What just because we like the same guy doesn't mean I have to be a jerk to her, right? I admit there are times I want to pop that head of hers but I don't like those thoughts.
Rena loudly cleared her throat and stood up. She took out a small notebook and placed it on the table. "Guys I got a few announcements to make!" Oh boy . . . "First of all have you guys got the tickets to the dance?"
"We were planning to pay at the door." Raven gestured to himself and Aisha.
"Same goes for us." Elsword pointed to Ara and himself.
"Yeah same here." Chung joined in.
"I'm not planning to go." I stated bluntly with my arms crossed. Rena ignored my remark and continued her little meeting.
"Well I got ALL of us tickets to the dance!" Rena opened her notebook and took out the seven tickets, I groaned as she handed out the tickets. "I wanted all of us to go so I bought these for you guys!"
"Thanks Rena, you're the best!" Aisha chimed as she took her ticket. I sighed as Rena placed my ticket down.
"Rena you know I don't want to go."
"Come on it'd be fun!" She repeated her famous quote. She never gives up does; if only she could convert this energy into her school work. Like I always say if that happened she'd be really smart/
"Come on just let me stay home." I pleaded. Rena narrowed her eyes on me.
"Fine, be like that." She snapped and took my ticket back. I flinched at her sudden outburst. "All I wanted was for us to hang out and have some fun. If you don't want to hang with us just say so." She angrily passed out the rest of the tickets. Everyone had their eyes glued on me, great now I feel guilty.
"Come on Rena don't be like that." She ignored me and angrily closed her notebook. "Rena, please speak to me." No answer once again. Guilt rushed through me as she continued to give me the silent treatment.
"Bye guys I'm going to sit somewhere where I'm wanted." Rena began to pack up. Why do you have to do this to me? Great now I feel like a jerk. Everyone looked at me, thick tension filled the air; I sighed of defeat.
"Fine I'll go." I mumbled. Aisha gestured me to speak up. I sighed once more and cleared my throat, "I'm sorry, I'll go to the dance." Immediately Rena's smile returned.
"Yes that act always works!" She squealed. Act? Ugh I should've known, stupid Eve!
"Hey that's no—"
"You said you'd go yourself! I've got witnesses at this table to prove it!" Everyone stared at me and smirked. That's so not fair, and what makes it worse I'm supposed to be the smart one here; yet I got outsmarted by the girl who complains about everything about school.
"Don't worry Eve, you'll have fun." Elsword reassured me with a wink. My heart skipped a beat once more; this kid is going to be the death of me one day.
"You guys are jerks." Everyone laughed at my statement; as much as I'm annoyed of these guys I do love them they're awesome friends.
"Now I also planned some other stuff for break!" Rena reopened her notebook. "I'm planning on holding the Christmas party on Monday, and on Tuesday we should go skiing!" My stomach did flips at the part with the skiing. "Everyone cool with the plans?" I shook my head.
"Yeah I don't know if I'll be able to go skiing, with my . . . you know." Rena's eyes widened and nodded.
"We'll arrange something so that you can still go, don't worry." She smiled warmly at me. Raven, Chung, and Ara gave me funny looks. "Oh they don't know?" I shook my head, and began to explain to the rest of them, I trust them enough to tell them about my condition. After I finished I was welcomed by awkward silence.
"It's nice to know you're doing a lot better now." Ara smiled warmly at me. I smiled back and nodded.
"Yeah, but can we change the subject?" I really hate talking about this for long periods of time. The others nodded and Rena cleared her throat.
"So then New Year's party and after that it'll be the end of our little plans!" She closed her notebook. "That's how the break will play out!"
"Sounds fun!" Aisha piped in. "I can't wait for Monday now! That's when we exchange gifts right?" Rena nodded and sat back down.
"Now let's talk about the dance!" That's when I tuned out, butterflies danced in my stomach as I realized that I'll be going with Elsword. I hope things go well at that dance . . .
(Rena's POV)
"Right on time." Eve giggled as she let me in. Her eyes landed on the box I was holding, I hope she enjoys the dress I bought her.
"Oh hi, Rena right?" Eve's mom greeted. I nodded.
"Hi Mrs—"
"Oh no please just call me Daisy."
"Oh okay Daisy." It feels weird to call someone's parent by their first name. "I'm just here to get your daughter ready for the winter dance."
"I know she told me all about your plans." She smiled warmly. "She hardly ever brings any friends home or plan events, I'm glad she's getting more social."
"We'll be in my room." Eve gestured me to go upstairs.
"Oh before you go I have two things to ask you."
"Ask away."
"First off do you want anything to eat?" I shook my head. "Second, is my daughter going to dance with Elsword?" I heard Eve face palm.
"Mom!" Daisy giggled at her reaction.
"I hope they dance together! They'd look so cute!" I chimed in. Daisy jumped happily at the thought of it. Man Eve has an awesome mom; she acts more like a teenager than an adult.
"Come on lets go upstairs." I giggled and followed Eve upstairs. When I entered her room I was greeted by Aisha, I forgot she came here before me.
"Hey Rena." Aisha waved as she put the small plushie back on the bed. "So you got the dress ready?" I nodded and carefully opened the small box.
"Do I seriously have to wear that thing?" Eve groaned. I nodded and took the dress out.
"It's your Christmas gift!" I chimed. "Anywho we've got to get you ready and quick, Aisha will be doing your hair, and makeup. I will take care of jewellery and the dress!"
"Aisha, please don't put too much makeup on me." I pleaded. She nodded; she knows that I'm not a big fan of this whole makeup stuff.
"Alright get changing." I ordered. Eve looked around nervously like she was waiting for something to happen.
"Um aren't you two going to leave so I can change?" She gestured to the door.
"We're all girls here so we can stay in here." I stated, she opened her mouth to debate but I quickly interrupted, "just change or I'll take off those clothes for you!"
"I'm good!" I smiled as she finally gave in. "J-just don't stare, this is really weird." I rolled my eyes and turned my back on her as she began to change. At least she isn't arguing about this any further.
(Eve's POV)
"N-no way I'm wearing this!" I screamed as I saw myself in the mirror. Rena and Aisha's eyes darted around my body.
"You look great in that dress." Aisha stated.
"I feel so naked in this!" I whined. Rena rolled her eyes and sat me down on my bed.
"Stay still we need your makeup and hair." I groaned as Aisha began to do her work. After she finished my makeup she began to experiment on my hair. I stayed quiet and clenched my fists; I wonder how Elsword will think of this outfit. Will he think I look pretty or will he think I look like a slut?
"Done!" Aisha chimed. I stood up and looked in the mirror, I guess I do look somewhat nice, but what do I know about fashion and looks? Aisha didn't do much to my hair, and I'm very grateful that she didn't go overboard with the makeup.
"I got the perfect finishing touch!" Rena made me put on some bracelets and made me put on the necklace Els gave me. I blushed as I looked at myself in the mirror one last time. "You look like a princess!" Rena awed.
"Aren't you two going to wear something fancy like this?" They shook their heads.
"We need you to pop out! I'm sure when Els sees you, he'll fall head over toes for you!" Aisha stated. They continued to look at me with awe; maybe this outfit isn't so bad. The dress did fit perfectly, and I like the hair do, I just wished it didn't expose this much skin. (To see her outfit switch back to the deviant art page and go to my gallery, press the drawing called Elsword~ Eve)
"We should also get fixed up for the dance." Rena took the brush and began to comb through her hair. I sat back down on my bed as I watched them begin to do their hair.
"Come on Eve our ride is here!" Rena shouted.
"Coming!" I quickly took my bag and rushed downstairs. My mom widened her eyes once she saw my dress. I blushed as I walked passed her.
"Eve that dress is beautiful!" She squealed. I looked at her with shock, isn't she supposed to say something like this dress is too small or that I need to wear something else?
"Y-you're okay with this dress?" I gestured to my half naked body. She nodded and dug in the closet. "A-aren't you supposed to say this dress is too small and I should wear something more appropriate or something?"
"When I was your age I'd always wear dresses like those to dances." She took out the thickest jacket we had and put it on me. "Have fun sweetheart, and remember no grandchildren yet." Rena and Aisha silently began to laugh at my mom's remark.
"Got it mom." I began to slip on some shoes.
"Oh no you're not wearing those!" My mom exclaimed. She quickly dug through the closet and took out some flats. "You look much prettier with these on." She smiled warmly at me.
"Mom you're like an older version of Rena." I rolled my eyes as I slipped on the flats. I hope I don't slip and fall in these.
"The only difference between me and Rena is that I'm sexier." My mom giggled. Yep I'm ready to die of embarrassment. "Okay, get going now." I waved my mom goodbye and headed outside.
"Yo-you have an awesome mom." Rena continued to laugh. "Are you sure you two are related?" I rolled my eyes at her remark.
"Hey girls." Chung greeted. His eyes darted on me, and began to roam around me; I blushed and awkwardly moved to the back seat. "Wow Eve you look great."
"Er thanks, but I feel uncomfortable wearing this thing." I blushed. Chung chuckled and began to back out of the drive way.
The ride was filled with peaceful silence; while everyone was excited for the dance I was feeling extremely nervous about going. I'm not used to wearing things like these; I wonder how everyone will react.
"We're here!" Chung announced. We got out and quickly made our way into the nice warm school. Rena insisted on me to take off my jacket, I debated at first but of course she won that fight. People I walked passed in the hallway gasped at my outfit, their jaws literally hit the floor; I can't blame them I was equally as shocked at how I looked.
"Look there they are!" Aisha pointed to Raven, Els and Ara. We hurried over there; my stomach did multiple flips as I got closer to them. I wonder how I look to Els, I hope he likes this look.
"Oh hey guys." Raven greeted. Els and Ara turned towards us. Elsword's mouth dropped once he got a good look at me, his eyes darted around me making me feel extremely uncomfortable.
"Oh Eve I see you dressed up for this as well." Ara piped in. I examined her outfit, she looks equally as nice. Her look puts my look to shame. (Same thing with Eve's outfit, the name of the picture is Elsword~ Ara Haan)
"Didn't we do great on Eve?" Aisha asked Raven. He nodded and kissed her on the forehead.
"She may look good but you'll always look the greatest to me." She blushed and gave him a gentle hug. Awe so cute.
"How do you think her dress looks Els?" Rena asked. Elsword snapped out of his trance and scratched the back of his head nervously.
"Y-y-you l-look really n-nice." A small blush appeared on his face. My heart melted at his compliment, and he's just so adorable when he's nervous. Not now pervert me.
"T-thanks." I smiled warmly at him.
"Okay let's go to the actual dance now!" Chung clapped. We made our way to the gym and of course it was packed with people. Some people, mainly girls, dressed up all fancy while others came with normal clothes. The gym itself was decorated with many paper snowflakes, and there were other winter themed things taped here and there, seems legit to decorate it like this. But it's still going to be a pain to clean all this up.
"It's so loud here." I shouted as the music continued to blast in my ears. It was also really hot here too, and all these flashing lights just make my eyes hurt.
"Come on let's find somewhere to sit." Elsword suggested. We pushed past people until we found some free tables. I sat down and rested my head on my hand.
"We're going to dance now." Raven and Aisha announced. We waved them goodbye and watched them as they disappeared in the ocean of people.
"I heard they had food here!" Chung exclaimed. The sound of food made Rena's eyes widen, and a huge smile formed on her lips.
"Come on let's look for some food! Ara you come too!" Before Ara could even respond Rena dragged her away. Poor Ara I hope she doesn't get lost in that ocean of people.
"So how do you like the dance?" Elsword asked. I shrugged and stared at the ocean of people.
"Same as any old dance, loud annoying music, with annoying people, and the stupid heat." I grumbled.
"So I'm annoying?" Elsword asked. I nodded, he pretended to look hurt and put his hand over his chest. "That hurts Eve."
"Yeah, yeah whatever drama queen." I rolled my eyes. The music changed and instead of an annoying fast pacing song, it's a slow and calm song. I sighed; I guess this song is better than the one before.
"Hey have you ever slow danced before?" I shook my head and blushed. "Want to learn?" My face heated up and my ability to speak seemed to have left me. I stared at Elsword dumbly as I tried to form words. "So is that a yes?"
"Y-y-yeah." I stammered. He got up and held out his hand, I hesitated a bit before taking it. We walked to the dance floor, my legs felt like jelly and my heart was running 1000 miles per second. Heart attack is coming soon; I repeat heart attack is coming soon!
"Just follow my lead okay?" I nodded. He placed his hands on my waist, I flinched at his touch; I gently wrapped my arms around his neck. Well this is awkward; I've never thought I'd actually slow dance with Els once day. Like he instructed I followed his lead, we swayed gracefully on the dance floor. It was hard to avoid eye contact since we were this close to each other.
"See this isn't so bad." He smiled at me. I blushed and nodded, it seemed way scarier in my mind. We continued to dance, and my blush continued to grow stronger. "You really are beautiful tonight." He whispered.
"T-thanks." I giggled nervously. He kissed my forehead, sparks exploded from the spot he kissed. "E-Els?" Why'd he kiss me though?
"I hope you know I can't afford to lose you ever." Shivers ran down my spine at his statement.
"What are you trying to say?" I gulped. He stayed silent and began to lean in. Every muscle in my body stiffened as he got closer, his grip tightened on me as he continued to lean in. Like instinct I began to lean in as well. Maybe this time it'll happen, maybe this time we can kiss without interruptions . . .
"Hey guys!" Ara popped up out of nowhere. We both jumped at the sudden appearance and we quickly bounced away from each other. "Are you teaching her to slow dance?"
"Y-yeah she's a fast learner." Elsword nervously scratched his head.
"U-um I'm going to drink some water." I stammered. "I'll be back soon." I quickly left before Elsword could say anything, why?! So close too! Ugh this is so annoying.
(Elsword's POV)
Ara and I stood in awkward silence once Eve left. We were so close, why Ara why?!
"Um Elsword can I dance with you?" Ara asked nervously. I shrugged; I kind of want to dance with Eve instead. "Please just one dance?" She put on her puppy dog eyes; well I guess one dance won't hurt. I nodded and we began to sway slowly on the dance floor.
"This is just like before." She giggled. I smiled at the memory.
It was when we became an official couple, Ara was the one who suggested we should slow dance. That was the most precious moment of my life, and this dance is bringing back all those memories. Although I don't feel as strong about her anymore I still enjoyed those memories. We stared intensely at each other, forgetting about the world around us.
(Eve's POV)
I returned to the gym after I took a sip of water from the water fountain, people were still dancing slowly on the dance floor. I wonder where Els is, I wandered around blindly looking for the red haired boy. I froze at my step, and quickly hid behind some people as I watched Els and Ara dance.
They stared intensely in each others eyes; you could almost feel the intensity of the love they once held. Knowing better than to interrupt I backed away, and left them be. As much as I didn't want to do that I knew better than to interrupt them.
(Ara's POV)
When I saw Elsword and Eve dancing I knew I had to do something, if I didn't come to interrupt I could've lost Elsword to her. Eve is really sweet and all but I won't lose to her, I love Elsword and I want us to stay together.
I'm sorry Eve but I won't let you win this war.
I love Elsword.
I'll make sure you never win.
But hope we can still be friends . . .
Alex:
I love this story it is the best eve x elsword story I have read. Can you keep on write eve x elsword story's you are a good writer you are creative. When you finish this story can you write another eve x elsword story because there not a lot of elsword x eve story being updated or release. At least make me hope for so thing. Thank you. XD
Me: Yesh I am planning on continuing ElsxEve stories, and after this I do hve another one planned out. And thanks for the compliments :)
Corronite:
Awsome story! I've been reading through and normally I don't mind Ara... But in this on the scale of 1 to 10, she's possibly... 50... I realy don't like her... I just realy wanna know what goes through her mind at time?
Ara: It's true that Sakura hardly ever puts my POV in here but I can tell you a few things that roam around in my head. Lets take the ice rink for example, at that time I really wanted to be with Elsword, but he just HAD to be with Eve. I guess that insult came out of jealousy. When I saw Eve and Elsword close to kissing at the mall I purposely interrupted them. I couldn't stand seeing them kissing and I don't want to lose Elsword, I really love him and I'm really jealous of Eve.
I updated this chapter 50 billion times due to the deviant art thing...
A hand full of you hate Ara and a few of you don't hate her as much, XD at least she isn't all that hated. Welp thanks for reading and this week's question what is your favorite class in Elsword? Mines would have to be Code Nemesis, that was my first Eve code :'D it's also fun to use. Anywho until next time, cya lovebirds :)
