SOO Sorry it took me so long to get this up! Super busy with test and projects at school! OGT's are next week and despite my family telling me I'm going to do just fine I still can't help but freak out a little!

Anyway, this is not over!

This was requested by .391 and I absolutely loved the idea! And its been over a year since I said I'd do it and I feel very bad about making you wait so long love! I hope this is to your liking and makes up for my tardiness!

It wasn't very often that the two Frost brothers got into arguments. They simply got along with each other more times than not. Jamie was more of a pacifist and Jack just didn't like arguing. But believe me when I tell you their tempers once agitated are worse than the ice age, both of them, ten times over.

"Jamie why would you do that!"

The shout rang around the North Pole. Elves stopped doing whatever it was elves did, Yeti's paused in their work, even North had to take a look at the two steaming winter spirits. They had just returned from another round of snow laying and all could tell that something wasn't right. Jamie spun around and matched Jack's glare with an equal one of his own.

"Do what!"

"Making wind chills as low as -40 degrees! Jamie more furnaces are blowing up and people getting frost bite then they have in TWO YEARS! You don't just drop it that low in a matter of hours!"

They didn't even realize they had gained an audience they were so absorbed in their argument. Which the argument in itself was something not to be taken lightly.

"I know what I'm doing Jack!"

"WELL OBVIOUSLY YOU DON't! Maybe I shouldn't take you out with me anymore! Your going to kill people Jamie and I can't let that happen! Wasn't it those types of temperatures that was the cause of your parents deaths!"

"Are you calling me a murderer!"

"If the shoe fits!"

Jamie backed down instantly. His eyes went wide and tears had started to form in them for Jack to realize what he had just said. He had just told Jamie it was the temperatures, the things he had most control over, that killed his parents, indirectly placing blame on the boy even if he wasn't the real cause when it had happened. Jack froze finally taking in the entire thing, Jamie's teary eyes, and the silence. The unforgiving hateful silence.

"Jamie..", Jack reached out for him but the small boy backed away from his outstretched hand. Tears finally spilling from his blue eyes and falling frozen down his cheeks.

"I hate you"

Jack froze and Jamie took that as a perfect moment to turn and run, tears falling faster. Jack finally saw the audience they had acquired during the shouting match and the yeti's, elves, and even North had quickly went back to what they had been doing. Trying to act as if they hadn't just witnessed what they all had just witnessed. Jack turned his head back into the direction Jamie had run off in and didn't need any motivation to run after him.

He knew Jamie was still at the Pole. When the kid got upset he didn't runaway he ran and hid. Jack wasn't really sure why but Jamie always did it. He walked from hallway to hallway gently calling out Jamie's name in hopes the kid would respond or he'd at least beadle to hear him whimpering or crying or feel him. jack had just turned back around to exit the star gazing room (yes North liked stars too) when he heard it. A soft almost silent sniffle. Jack gently leant his staff against one of the large cushioned chairs and got down on his hands and knees. Low and behold, Jamie was curled up under the large table desk thing. He sniffled and wiped his nose with the sleeve of his hoodie before hiding back into his ball and turning away from Jack.

"Go 'way"

"Jay..."

Jack gently reached a hand out and grasped at Jamie's sleeve and pulled him out from his balled up hiding spot.

"Jay I'm so sorry..."

Jamie sniffled looking up into the older blue eyes.

"I should have never said that about your parents and I'm so sorry. Jay..."

Jamie slowly crawled out from under the rest of the table desk thing and let Jack gather him up in his arms. Jack clung onto him like if he let go the small body in his arms would disappear forever. He turned around and walked over to one of the large chairs, took occupancy in it and settled Jamie in his lap with his arms still firmly wrapped around him.

"A-am I bad?"

Jacks frozen heart broke at that. If anything Jamie was the nicest spirit in existence. He tighten his grip around the boy, drawing him in closer.

"No. Never. You are the nicest winter spirit I have ever known and the best temperature controlling winter spirit I've ever met"

Jamie looked up at him with his puffy red eyes, "Really?"

Jack smiled down at him and nodded. The small smile creeping across the youngsters face simple lit his heart.

"You my little friend are one of the most controlled I have ever seen. Just try and tone it a little alright."

"Y-You still love me?"

Jack nodded and nuzzled his hair a little.

"You, Jamie, are the apple of my eye. I love you more than anything in this universe. Your not only my little brother, your my best friend too"

Its true that Winter spirits don't fight as much as other spirits do. They simply have too much compassion and fun to fight all the time.

So I hope this makes up for my jerky lateness! Let me know what you thought!
