Sorry for the cliffhanger last time! Here's a new chapter to fix that problem!

Jack's POV

"What?!" I yell.

"I don't know. I was with Mika outside be the main office when this cop came and told the lady in there that he was down on the tracks and the train hit him." Jerry says, pacing around the room.

"Where is he now?" Rudy asks.

"The hospital. I guess hey rushed him into emergency surgery or something." Jerry says.

"Let's go." Rudy says while he grabs his jacket off of the counter. Jerry and I follow him out and we all make a mad dash to Rudy's car. Rudy speeds to the hospital.

When we arrive, the car doors fly open and we sprint into the emergency room. Everyone is already there waiting the hear some news, hopefully good. Mika runs up to us and Jerry wraps her in a tight hug. Eddie is sitting with Grace, his arm wrapped around her. I look around the room for Kim and I see her trying to comfort and sobbing Julie. Joan walks up and starts to talking to Rudy. The two of the walk over to Julie and take her off of Kim's hands.

Kim comes up to me and I wrap her in a hug before kissing her on the head.

"It's going to be okay. Everything's going to be okay. I promise" I say, trying to comfort Kim.

"I wish you knew that for sure." Kim says.

"Me too." I say.

We sit down by the others in the waiting room. Hours pass with no news of Milton. We're completely silent besides the sound of people crying.

I'm sitting on a bench in the waiting room with Kim's head resting on my lap as I run my fingers through her hair when the automatic doors slide open. One of the other counselors walks in. Her name is Lindsey and she's a little bit crazy. I expect her to quietly go over to Joan and Rudy but instead she starts yelling at the top of her lungs.

"I need a wheelchair! Stat! Let's move it people! I have a girl who's about to have a baby! We don't have all day." Lindsey screams at the nurses and doctors. One runs out with a wheelchair.

Kim sits up and looks at me. "You don't think it's..." She begins to say before the nurse runs back in with someone in the wheelchair.

"Donna." Kim finishes her sentence.

I watch as they push a very pregnant Donna through the doors and into the hospital.

"Jack. Go with her. We'll stay here and I'll tell you if they have any news on Milton." Kim says.

I kiss Kim on the head before rushing through the doors.

"Where do you think you're going?" One of the doctors ask.

"I need to go with her." I say.

"Are you related? Only family is allowed in the room." He says.

"Yeah. I'm the father."

Jerry's POV

Everyone is still shaken up. We've been waiting for hours just to hear something. It's 2:45 am and you can tell that everyone is exhausted. Most of the girls including Mika have fallen asleep. It looks like Eddie has too. The only ones awake are me, Kim, and Rudy.

I walk over to Kim who is sitting alone in the corner looking out the window and I sit down next to her.

"How's it going?" I ask.

"Ehh... Pretty awful." Kim says.

"I know what you mean. This all sucks. I just want to know that Milton is okay." I say.

"Me too." She says before looking out the window again.

"Want to go for a walk?" I ask.

"I promised Jack I would tell him if we heard anything." She says.

"Rudy will be here and he'll call us if they have any news. And I promise that it will be a short walk." I say.

"Fine. Anyways, it will be good for me to get some fresh air." Kim finally agrees.

We go outside and start walking around the hospital campus. It's the perfect temperature outside and the breeze makes it feel even better.

"Are you happy about it?" I ask bluntly.

"Happy about what?" Kim asks, confused.

"Otai and the whole Japan thing." I say.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" She says.

"I don't know. I mean, you should be happy and excited. It's a big deal. I wasn't sure with how Jack's been taking it." I explain.

"What do you mean with how Jack's been taking it?" Kim stops walking. She crosses her arms and stares at me.

I keep walking, trying to avoid her glare.

"Jerry!" She runs up and grabs my arm. "What about Jack?!"

"Nothing." I say.

"I know that you know something. Please tell me." Kim pleads with her sad puppy eyes.

"Fine!" I give in. "He's just concerned that it will hurt your relationship and he doesn't want to lose you. That's all. He's really excited for you but he'll definitely miss you."

"Awww... That's so cute!" She squeals.

"It is?" I say.

"Of course it is. I'm glad that he's worried about me. That means he isn't thinking about Donna and he still wants to be in a relationship with me."

"Speaking of Donna, how are you doing with that?" I ask.

"Surprisingly well. Jack just wants to be there for his kid, not Donna." Kim says confidently.

Kim's phone starts ringing and she picks it up. When she's done talking, she comes back over to me.

"That was Rudy. Still no news on Milton but I have to go. Thanks for the walk. We really need to hang out more often." Kim says before kissing me on the cheek and running back inside the building.

Kim's POV

I rush back inside and Rudy is standing there waiting for me.

"Where is he?" I ask impatiently.

"He's coming. Just take a chill pill." Rudy says, trying to calm me down.

The doors open and Jack walks in wearing a set of scrubs with a big smile on his face.

"There's someone I'd like you guys to meet." He says, holding his hand out.

I smile and grab it. He leads me and Rudy down the hall and we arrive in front of a glass window. In the room is about five little babies. Each of them has a colorful blanket and there are a couple of nurse taking care of them.

"I would like you to meet Rose Marie Gillespie." He says, pointing to a little baby girl in the front row.

"Jack, she's beautiful." I say.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to grab Joan." Rudy says before running off like a little girl.

"You did a good job." I say, cuddling up against Jack.

He kisses me on the head. "If only she was your kid."

"Don't worry. We'll have our own kids someday. I promise." I say, not realizing that I just planned our future before we even talked about getting married.

Jack laughs and give me a kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Rudy comes back in with Joan and all eyes are on their new baby.

"Why don't we give you two some room?" Jack says, grabbing my hand.

Rudy and Joan don't even notice us leave. Jack and I head back to the waiting room. Everyone is starting to wake up again and most of them are asking Jack questions about the baby. Everyone is really excited for him.

The doors open again and we all look to see a doctor walk in.

"Milton Krupnick's family and friends?" The doctor says.

"Over here." Eddie says, pointing towards our group.

"I'm sorry but Milton isn't..."
