The next day...
Since Katie doesn't have a shift at her job today, she was planning on going on a date with Chaz tonight. The tomboy was at her house, with Crystal, who was sitting on her bed, looking at her laptop. Crystal was reading a random comic book, as Katie was wondering where to go with Chaz on a date to.
She knew that the skatepark would be closed, they've been to many of the restaurants around the town, they're first date was really going out to the movies so that doesn't seem like an idea for now. Katie was stumped on what to do for their date together. That was until Crystal lowers her comic book, looking over to her best friend, seeing that she needs some help with the dating plans.
"So...you still having problem with where to go on the date, huh?" Crystal asked her. Katie nods. "Well...why not just ask me?" Katie turns around, looking at her best friend, raising an eyebrow.
"Considering that argument you pulled back there at the store between you and Violet, you think I'm going to ask you anything right now?" Katie asked her.
"Well, you did invite me to your house...so...really that argument really falls flat on it's ass if you ask me."
"Maybe because I was wanting to talk about that..."
"Can we do that later? Let's talk about...dating..." Katie blinked a couple times, before Crystal stood up, tossing the comic book onto her bed. "Now, what do I know about dating? Nothing, considering I've never had a boyfriend, but knowing my sisters at home, they've dated a lot of guys, and I can figure out a bunch of ideas for you." Crystal pats the chair Katie was sitting in, and scoots her into the desk. "If you ask me, there's an eighties movie bunch at the theater tonight..."
"I'm...kind of not wanting to since...well...me and Chaz have started out date doing that. I told you this yesterday, telling you the reason why I didn't go to the Senior prom back at high school, remember?" Crystal frowns, looking at Katie.
"That doesn't mean you can't try it again, and that date was like...what? A month ago now...and Fourth of July is right around the corner, so that date was like a long time ago, doesn't mean you can't do it again, right?" Katie blinked a couple times, before speaking.
"Well...when you put it that way..."
"When I put it that way, I am right. I know." Katie rolled her eyes, and then the rebel points to the laptop. "How about this? Since you two need a bit of romance into the relationship that you're in, why not go see Dirty Dancing? Because if you ask me, that should get the romance in the air go good." Katie looks at Crystal, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Me and Chaz would probably like something more mellow. Why not Beverly Hills Cop?"
"No way. Romance, Katie...Romance...think about you and him having a good night with a lot of that. Because between you and him need a lot of it in that relationship of yours." Katie rolled her eyes again, not really enjoying Crystal's advice there. She sighed, shaking her head, and then nods.
"Fine...Dirty Dancing it is...Just don't think we'll enjoy anything romantic. We'll only enjoy the music in the movie." Crystal nods.
"True that."
Katie stood up, and then looks in the closet of hers. She took her black jacket off, and then places it back into the closet, and then pulls out one of the jackets, that was actually one of Chaz's jackets. Crystal raises an eyebrow, looking at the jacket, as Katie places it on. The tomboy took notice of Crystal staring at her.
"What? Chaz can give me one of his jackets." Katie said. Crystal giggles, and then walks over to her best friend.
"Well, I just hope that Luke has a jacket for me to wear when me and him are going on our date on the beach tonight as well." Crystal said. Katie looks over to Crystal, blinking a couple times.
"You're going on a date with Luke tonight?"
"You heard me right. Me and Luke, are heading to the beach tonight, to have our first date." Crystal smirked, closing her eyes. "I know the shoreline would be closed at night, but me and him are going to enjoy it." Katie sighed, placing her baseball cap, backwards.
"Well...I guess since you think my date should be romantic, you want me to wear a dress. I don't look good in them, nor do I like wearing them."
"I didn't say you have to. Only if you want. Which you're not wanting to. Which is alright." Crystal pats her best friend on the shoulder, and then they headed out of the bedroom. "Alright...well, I'm going to go get my date ready, you just get yours ready too."
Crystal headed downstairs, most likely leaving and heading home. Katie just stood by the stairs, looking down the stairs, watching her best friend leave the house. She pulls her Smartphone out, and then tried to call Chaz on the phone.
Meanwhile, at Chaz's house...
Chaz was still sleeping, since it was late in the morning when Katie and Crystal had their conversation. Chaz heard his phone going off next to his bed, hearing the ringing from it. He looks at the screen, seeing that it was Katie calling him right now. He sits up, and then got out of bed.
"Hey babe, what's going on?" Chaz asked his girlfriend.
"Hey babe..." Katie said. "I was calling to see if you were willing to go to the movies today for our date. Me and you haven't been there in awhile, so I just thought, or Crystal anyway, to go out there and enjoy one movie tonight together. Maybe get some food too, or maybe even look at the stars maybe." Chaz stood up, stretching his arms, waking himself up.
"Sure. That's fine." Chaz picks up one of the white t-shirts off of the floor, smelling it, cringing, then tossing it into the laundry basket nearby. "Anyways...when we going?"
"About the start of the evening." Katie said, as Chaz walks out of his bedroom. "I'm going to see what food we can get together, and just get yourself ready for our date."
"I'll get ready too...and...I'll pick you up at your house."
"Alright."
"Alright." Chaz hung up the phone, as he got ready for the date later on in the day. He went downstairs, and ate some breakfast before he went on to get ready.
Once he finished with his food, Chaz walks back upstairs to get ready. He quickly runs into the bathroom, then showered himself off, brushed himself off, combed his hair, and flossed his teeth. He smiled at his reflection in the mirror, nodding at it, seeing that Katie will completely love his smile.
Chaz left the bathroom keeping a towel around his waist as he exited the bathroom, heading back to his bedroom. He gets into his bedroom, and picked out something for him to wear. He picked out a dark blue flannel jacket, a light blue t-shirt, black jeans, and his regular sneakers. He places all of this on, and nods, looking at himself in the mirror.
"Yeah. I like this outfit." Chaz said, nodding to himself.
He then walks out of his bedroom to see where his dad was at the moment, which he didn't really care for, he only wanted to know since he doesn't know if he was busy watching TV, or just in his bedroom as well, or whatever, Chaz wanted to know where he was at the moment. It appears that after looking around the house for a moment or two, he couldn't find him anywhere. He was probably at work, but that wasn't an idea, since his auto-shop should be closed today. So Chaz just thought that his dad was probably off with his friends at some bar somewhere. Not like he'd care about that anyways.
"Typical of my dad..." Chaz mutters. "...I'm going to find Tim...I hope he's not too busy today..." Chaz picks up his helmet off of the coat rack, then places it onto his head before walking into the garage to drive out of the house to go to Tim's house.
At the junkyard...
Crystal was sitting inside the trailer of the junkyard, drawing hearts on some pieces of paper that was lying around the entire trailer. She had the radio on with the song 'Crazy Little Thing called Love' by Queen playing on it. She was happily sitting around the place, making hearts with her and Luke's names on it, not paying attention to the world around her.
That was until Goth Boy came into the trailer, seeing the mess of hearts everywhere on the ground...
"Crystal, what the hell is this?!" Goth Boy asked, annoyed upon seeing this. Crystal looks behind herself, seeing Goth Boy standing in the doorway, looking around the trailer.
"Oh, just thinking about love, my leader." Crystal said, happily. "Me and Luke are having a date tonight, and we are going to enjoy the night for all it lasts." Goth Boy narrows his eyes, crossing his arms. "We're sneaking off to the shoreline tonight, and we're going to have our date there, when Summer is finally out of the picture."
"And you honestly think Summer is going to NOT be there?"
"She won't. She can't be there if the beach is closed, and she's back at her house ignoring everything that's happening on the shoreline. So me and Luke don't have to worry about anything." Goth Boy just sighed, not even noticing that Ghostly and Yuki were stepping into the trailer at the moment.
"What in the world happen to Ol' Gabby's trailer?!" Ghostly asked, shocked to see the many pieces of paper everywhere around the place. Crystal holds up the heart picture she was making right now.
"Oh I'm drawing them." Crystal said to the blue haired boy who just walked into the trailer. "I hope you don't mind that I did all this."
"Well, I hope Ol' Gabby doesn't flip when he sees all this in here! He wouldn't like the idea of many papers thrown or placed everywhere around here without him knowing about it!"
"Relax, Ghostly! I'm bringing all of these papers home after our little poetry meeting together."
Crystal passes the three of them, as the three goths looked around the inside of the trailer, seeing the many papers scattered around the place. Yuki picks up the nearest broom and steps forward into the trailer to sweep up some of the papers off of the floor. Ghostly and Goth Boy just shook their heads at this, as the leader turns around towards Crystal before she was leaving to the middle of the junkyard.
"You know, this Luke guy is really getting in the way of you helping me lead this group with, Crystal." Goth Boy said to her. "Can you please try to get your head out of the clouds so we can stay focused on things like poetry and other things?" Crystal stopped in her tracks, looking at the sky, shaking her head. She turns back around to Goth Boy, and smiled at him.
"You have a girlfriend too, Goth Boy...why not be happy you're in a relationship? And just let things be cool?" Crystal asked him.
"It's like I'm talking to a hippie version of this girl..." Goth Boy mutters, looking at Ghostly. "...Yeah me and Yuki are together, but I don't show our relationship off like you've won a new car or something. No offence, but really, this Luke guy is beginning to be all you're talking about anymore, aside from Summer anyway." Crystal sighed, then crossed her arms.
"Well, what do you think? Luke is my first boyfriend...ever...since none of the other goths in this group could go out with me, even though I know most of them, including you, think I'm hot, even with a girlfriend, so...really, I think I have every right to talk about my very first date." Goth Boy just stared up at the sky, rolling his eyes, as he stepped off of the steps on the trailer. "Believe me, Goth Boy, even you thought I was hot once I joined the group..." Goth Boy glared at her annoyed.
"Oh whatever..." Goth Boy said. "Can we just go to the middle of the junkyard already so he can read some poetry together already?" Crystal nods.
"Yeah. Sure." Crystal walks off, as Goth Boy turns around, looking at Yuki.
"Yuki, I'll meet you at the middle of the junkyard so that we can read some poetry together."
Yuki nods, looking out of the trailer, nodding at her boyfriend. As Crystal and Goth Boy headed off to the middle of the junkyard, Ghostly stayed behind and helped out with Yuki at the trailer, picking up pieces of papers off of the walls and off of the floor. Yuki smiled at Ghostly as she was helping her out.
"Thank you for helping Yuki with this mess." Yuki told Ghostly. "She probably wouldn't have gotten any of this mess done without some help." Ghostly just nods at Yuki, and then places some of the papers in a pile.
"It's okay Yuki." Ghostly said. "I'm just better doing this then be near the rebel girl...just as long as you don't bite me in the face, I'm good with helping another friend out." Yuki giggles, and then sweeps her broom some more. "Hey, I never got input from you. Are you thinking that the junkyard is safe? From anyone?"
"Yuki is trying to keep faith in this junkyard since Ghostly is friends with owner. But Yuki doesn't know if scary jocks come and attack the junkyard."
"Don't worry, just as long as Crystal doesn't peeve off the jocks at Royal Academy, I'm sure that things are going to be fine with you guys." Ghostly looks down. "I just hope Ol' Gabby doesn't end up being here if that does end up happening. But he's in the south right now, meeting with a couple of friends, and I'm sure he'll give me a call when he comes back." Yuki nods.
"Alright." The two continued to clean up the trailer before they went off to the meeting too.
