Next update, YEAH! :)

Enjoy!

"Samantha," the nurse said quietly. "Meet your baby girl."

The tired brunette looked up at the small infant that was wrapped tightly in a light pink blanket. Never before had she fallen in love with something so quickly, and by the time the baby was laid down on her chest, it was too late to turn back. She was still in shock, shivers rolling up and down her spine, but she couldn't have been happier.

"I can't believe it," Samantha choked up.

Dean was still smiling; he hadn't stopped ever since he first laid his eyes on the precious newborn. "You had a baby."

Samantha laughed a little bit before placing a small kiss on her child's soft forehead. "She's perfect."

"Just like her mom," Dean cooed. He leaned over and kissed Samantha, staying there for a few seconds, taking in all of the craziness.

Once they parted, the nurse sat the top of Samantha's hospital bed up and gave her extra blankets to help control the shivering, which she gratefully accepted. They wheeled the new family back into a more comfortable room, with a window that overlooked the field that was next to the building.

"What do we do now?" Dean teased.

Samantha could barely shrug, but she did in response. "I've never done this before." She still hadn't removed her eyes from her child. In all of her life, she hadn't realized how strong the love for a child can be.

Before the new parents even had a chance to discuss anything, AJ and Phil entered the room. As soon as the petite brunette caught a glimpse of the new baby, her eyes filled with tears. This time however, they weren't sad, depressed ones; they were full of joy.

"Samantha!" AJ exclaimed, using her best friend's full name for the first time in a long time. "I'm so sorry," she mumbled as tears were still flowing through her deep brown eyes.

Samantha looked up at her friend and noticed how sincerely sorry she was, causing her to tear up. "If it weren't for you, we might not be here," she forgave AJ. "Want to come and meet your niece?"

Even though she wasn't her real "aunt," AJ felt closer to that child than she ever thought she was going to be.

As AJ ran up to see the newborn, Phil handed Dean a small stuffed animal. "It was the best that the hospital gift shop could do on short notice," he explained.

Grabbing the man, Dean pulled him into a hug. He didn't know what it was, but all the sudden, he was in a mood to just hug everybody. It was a weird feeling, but at the same time he couldn't really control it. His baby was changing everything for him.

"Do you want to hold her?" Samantha asked, gently holding her up to AJ.

AJ nodded. "Okay," she muttered as she wiped away a tear and held out her arms. Once the child was placed in her hands, it was love at first sight. "Hi, baby," she said. If anything, she was mainly speechless. She'd never held anything so small or young before, and she wasn't entirely sure that she was even doing it right. "What's her name?"

Samantha looked up at Dean, who walked over and kneeled down next to the bed.

"Whatever you want," Dean told her. "As long as it isn't something stupid."

Everybody in the room let out a heartfelt laugh. It felt good to feel good, and Samantha looked around the room to take in all of the sights. She was so overwhelmed with joy that she could barely feel her stomach growling, begging her for food. Directing her attention at AJ, she smiled.

"April," she said. "Her name is April."

AJ had to fight the urge to cover her mouth. Even though she wasn't a big fan of her full name, she was so honored to have her best friend's baby named after her. With no words, she simply rested one hand on Samantha's arm as she held April firmly with the other.

"I wonder how you came up with that one," Phil teased.

Samantha shrugged. "It just came to me."

Four months later...

"What do you think of this place?" Dean asked, posing in front of the new house's door.

Samantha could tell that he really loved the place, but she shrugged. "How many rooms are there?"

"Enough for like, ten more of these things." Walking closer to Samantha, he bent over and gave his daughter a kiss, who was being held by his new fiancée.

Samantha let out a small laugh. "Ten? You would still want to marry me after ten kids?"

"I'd marry you if you had twenty," he told her as he placed a quick kiss upon her lips.

"Charming, but don't get your hopes up for twenty," she joked. After everything she'd gone through during her pregnancy with April, she was still surprised that she survived. The thought of doing that more than twice? Almost too unbearable to suggest.

April was now four months old, and Samantha and Dean were happily engaged. They had been on a house hunt basically ever since they were released from the hospital. Once her daughter was born, Samantha devoted her whole life to being a good mother, quitting her job as a WWE Creative member and Diva full time so that she could focus on raising her child. Dean was still wrestling, after all they still needed money.

They had gotten officially engaged the night they went home, or the night they returned to their hotel room. Dean laid out dozens of candles and rose petals, proposing to her while she cradled her newborn. It wasn't the most romantic, but it was the best they could do with a new baby.

"I like it," Samantha stated as she looked at the empty house. "It's got everything we've been looking for."

"The best part is the backyard." Dean grabbed Samantha's hand gently and dragged her to the back door, where they entered the yard.

It was huge. There was a pool, a small garden, and enough room for Dean to build the playhouse he'd promised April that he would.

"Dean," Samantha was overwhelmed. "This is the place."

"It is?" He asked, the excitement taking over him.

"This is the place!" She was beyond happy. Finally, after months of searching, they found a house that they could safely raise April in. Sure, it was going to be difficult with Dean always in and out of town, but it was worth it. They were going to be a real family. For once, they could just be normal.

Cupping his fiancée's face, Dean planted a big kiss on her lips. "I love you," he muttered.

"I love you too."

Tonight was the first night in months that Samantha would be at the arena that RAW was being filmed. After April was born, she'd spent every night watching Dean wrestle through the TV in her hotel room.

Not that it was a problem anymore, since they had just moved into their first house.

But, tonight was also important because it was the night that everyone would get to meet April.

The engaged parents walked into the building from the parking lot and was greeted by everyone who saw them. It was strange for Samantha to see everybody acting so sweetly towards Dean, due to his "badass" gimmick and old personality, but she did realize that he had changed.

Once they entered the hallways, the first place they had to go was the Divas' Locker room. And, of course, the minute they entered there was massive chaos.

"She's so adorable!"

"I can't believe you're a mom!"

"Dean, you're such a good dad!"

"She's so tiny!"

Samantha laughed at every comment, mainly because it felt weird getting so many compliments come towards her all at once.

"I can't believe you were just pregnant, and now you have a baby," Natalya said. "You honestly don't even look like you were pregnant to begin with."

Samantha smiled at the sweet compliment. "Thanks Nattie," she praised. It had been months since they last talked, and they both had let go of the tension between them, deciding that it just wasn't worth it to argue anymore.

Next, it was Nikki's turn to drool over the newborn.

"She's so perfect," the Latina cooed.

Handing Dean her baby, Samantha pulled Nikki off to the side. "I just wanted to let you know that I overheard your fight with John."

Nikki chuckled. "Which one? Hell, I'm surprised nobody called the cops on us."

"Nikki," she began, "I know that it's been tough for you."

Nikki shrugged. "It's nothing I couldn't handle."

"Couldn't? Did you two break-up?"

"Awhile ago," Nikki said. "I tried to figure things out, but it got too complicated for me. All I want is to be happy, and it got too frustrating trying to make myself happy when there was nothing there."

Samantha smiled at her friend. "I'm glad that you've found peace."

The Latina laughed. "I'm going to be a mom one day, and ain't nobody gonna stop me!"

Her statement was followed by cheers by the other women. Samantha was so proud of Nikki, not just for opening up and talking about what happened, but for doing what she could to make herself happy. After everything that Nikki and John had been through the last year or so, it was time for them to come to their sense about what they really and truly wanted. Even if it meant being apart.

Samantha looked over at her fiancé, who was trying his best to remain calm in the presence of all the divas who surrounded him. Letting out a small giggle before approaching him, she noticed how petrified he looked.

"You look like you're about to faint," she whispered in his ear.

"If I don't get out of here, I might."

Rolling her eyes, Samantha and Dean took April out to meet the rest of the roster. It was a good night for the three of them, full of laughter and smiles from everybody they bumped into. Eventually, the two ventured back to Dean's locker room. It felt weird being in there, just the three of them. Before, it was always her, Dean, Seth and Roman, but now it felt empty. After The Shield broke up, that's how it must've always felt.

"It's so quiet in here," Samantha pointed out as Dean got dressed for his match.

"Doesn't bother me," he told her. "It's been this way ever since I got my own room."

"And, the silence doesn't kill you?" She chuckled.

"Not all of us are social," he teased.

Samantha sat April up in her car seat, which they took with them so she could nap if she needed to. The baby sat there for awhile, desperately trying to keep her eyes open, but eventually gave up and fell asleep.

"I'm surprised she's doing so well," Dean admitted. "Normally she would be freaking out."

"She likes the atmosphere, I guess."

Dean finished tying his shoes and walked over towards Samantha, sitting down on the small couch next to her, casually draping his arm around her shoulder. "You sure you never want to come back here?"

"Dean, we've talked about this."

"I know we have, but I saw the way you acted when you saw all of your friends."

Samantha sighed. "I've missed them."

"Are you sure you won't miss being in the ring too?"

It was a difficult subject for her, but she knew in her heart what she really wanted. Looking down at her sleeping baby, she smiled. "I want what's best for our baby girl. Even if that means giving up wrestling for good."

"Who said it was for good?" He asked.

Samantha shook her head. "Weren't you the one who said you wanted ten kids?"

Dean's mouth opened and he tried to act offended. "I believe I said twenty."

All she could do was laugh. She was so joyfully happy, and she couldn't control the smiles she continued to give off. It was contagious too; Dean rarely ever smiled unless he was around Samantha or April. That's why he knew that they were the loves of his life.

"We're getting married," Samantha said as she rested her head against Dean's shoulder.

"And, I can't wait."

So, this story is ALMOST over! I'm thinking about...two or three more chapters left?
