Ch.20: Return of the King

It has been several days since we left Shinrin Village, the words of my mother kept me from having some pleasant sleep. I awoke one night, looking over to my mate sleeping peacefully as I silently sighed out and quietly made my way out of the tent. I looked to see the campfire still blazing, even though we put it out before turning in for the night, that was until I saw Hellfire sitting on a good size boulder nearby. I walked over to him, seeing him turned around and smiled warmly.

"Couldn't sleep either, Freewill Trainer?" he asked me as I sat down next to him.

"Yeah. You can blame my mother for that." I respond, "What about you?"

"Keeping watch." He replied, "I just have a feeling something is just out side of the fire's light, watching us."

I looked out into the surrounding forest, focusing my aura and engaged my Aura Sight, seeing the low blue aura of the plants around us, was all I saw.

"Hellfire, there's nothing out there." I reassured him, "Getting a little jumpy since we are close to your kingdom?"

"Mmm, I might be." Hellfire replied, "I guess I thought Eclipse, somehow knew I was returning and was sending his personal assassins to silence me."

We both sat there talking for a while before I slowly turned back towards the tent.

"Done talking for the night?" Hellfire asked, "We both should be." I replied, "We both need our strength incase we have to fight."

I went back into the tent and laid down next to Carol, as I settle myself down, I suddenly felt her arm wrap around me. I smiled softly, leaning closer and slowly slipped into a slumber. Early the next morning, after having a quick bite to eat, I carefully packed the tent up while everyone else was eating their breakfast. After, I got it backed up, I swung my bag over my shoulder and looked at everyone, they seem to have finished eating, except for Glaci, bits and juices of Peacha Berries over her muzzle.

"Glaci, sweetie." Glaceon scowl her daughter, "Everyone is done eating, and we can't leave until you are done. Just how many more are you going to eat?"

"Glaceon, you know our little girl has a sweet fang." Jolteon happily barked, "Not helping, Jolteon!"

"Ok guys!" I called out, "Let's get moving!"

"But Uncle Kage, I'm not done eating!" Glaci whined out, "Glaci, we've been over this, Hellfire said it's only a few more hours now." I replied, "Once we get there, you can continue eating."

"But Uncle Kage!" she whined again, "That's enough, Glaci." Jolteon scowled, "You heard him. Now, no more whining."

Everyone looked at Jolteon, stunned beyond words. Jolteon looked up, and looked at each of us, confused, "What?" he asked.

"You just scowled at Glaci." Carol answered, "You never done that before."

"Normally, I wouldn't." he replied, "But we are in a hurry. If I have to also be a 'Bad Parent' then so be it."

I watched, still in shock, as Jolteon walked over and left Glaci by her scruff and carried her off, as she continued to whine out. It was around noon, when we finally reached a cave opening, guarded by two Houndoom and seemed to be arguing with a small group of canine Pokémon.

"That's strange." Hellfire stated, "What's wrong?" Glaceon asked him, "Outsiders. We get one or two wishing to join the kingdom, but this is a scouting size group."

"Never had something this large wanting to join?" I asked, "No, we haven't and by the way the guards are barking at them." He replied.

We then slowly walked up to the guards and the scouts, hearing what was being said.

"Enough!" one guard barked, "We've been over this argument and statement a thousand times already!"

"No one is allowed into the Kingdom until we are given orders to!" the other added.

"My Lord demands the allegiance with your Lords, Ladies, or whatever the fuck you call them in your little 'Counsel' I am his appointed messenger!" the Absol snarled out.

"I don't care, if you're your Alpha's appointed ass licker." The first guard snarled back, "No one is allowed entry until the matter of the throne is settle!"

I looked down to see Hellfire quickly walk up to the guards quickly, "I'm from this Kingdom." He announced, "What happen to my Father?"

The guards looked over and glared at him, before one huffed out, "You are not from here. Not anymore." He growled.

"I did not kill Inferno!" Hellfire barked, "Your crime was put into the Chamber of Memories, as well as your banishment, Kinslayer." The guard snarled.

"Kinslayer?" the Absol butted in, "Well, you're definitely not getting in."

I narrow my eyes before walking up to the argument and getting all eyes on me, "If I recall, his banishment is lifted if he returned with me." I stated.

"With you?" the guard growled, "It was to return with a human from a human clan."

"And the clan was called the Uchiha." I added, "And every Wild Pokémon knows that there is a trainer that never catches Pokémon and can understand them."

"Of course, the Freewill Trainer." The second guard stated, "Exactly." I replied, "I am the Freewill Trainer. My name is Kage Uchiha."

I got a few stares, one guard began to study me as the other scoffed, "Please, what a ridiculous thing to claim."

"Oh?" I asked, "Then how can you explain I've been responding to everything you've been saying?"

"Lucky guesses." He replied, "Wait, didn't the condition say to bring a human with the eyes of the human clan?" the other guard asked.

"The condition is impossible since, that human clan lost those eyes."

"Then why does he have them?"

The guard then looked me over before stepping back, "I-I don't believe it." He gasped, "He does of the eyes of that clan."

"Indeed, he does." Hellfire added, "And by the condition of my exile, I must present him to the Counsel to restore my rights to be back in the Kingdom."

The guard sighed out in defeat, "Very well, Exile, you may enter."

"WHAT?!" the Absol barked, "You're letting in a murderer and Kinslayer? You said so yourself!"

"He has fulfilled the condition of his Kinslayer Exile." The guard replied, "You on the other paw, still have no business here."

"In the name of Lord Malak, I'm ordering you to execute—"

Upon hearing that name, I growled out and quickly grabbed the Absol, pinning him to a nearby tree, "What was that name you just said?!" I demanded, "Tell me it was not 'Malak'!"

"Damn you, human!" the Absol snarled, "Release me at—" He stoped himself as he looked at my eyes, before shaking and panting out in fear.

"It c-can't be. Y-you're the human that nearly killed Lord Malak!" he whimpered.

"So that bastard is still alive?" I snarled out pressing him against the tree harder as he gasped out for air, "I-I don't know." He choked out, "We-we were sent to gather more allies after y-your assault on the lair! Th-that was several months ago!"

I extended my claws as I continue to glare and snarl at him, while his group didn't know either to attack or retreat, "H-have mercy!" the Absol whined, "I'll leave right now if you spare me!"

I stopped growling but continue to glare at him, before letting him fall to the ground, "If you value your life, I don't want to either see nor hear from you again." I coldly growled.

The Absol scrabbled to his feet before running off with his group behind him, I kept my eyes on them until they ran out of view.

"Thank Arceus, they finally left." A guard said, "He's been barking at us for weeks, wanting in."

"You did us a favor by getting rid of him." The second guard added, "You are all free to enter, but don't expect to find any friends within the walls, even you, Freewill Trainer."

I gathered everyone up as we walked pass the guards and into the large cavern tunnel, as we walked Carol took hold of my arm, and slowed myself down. I looked at her and saw she wanted to talk. "Guys, keeping go ahead, Carol wants to talk to me for a moment." I told them.

"As you wish." Hellfire said, "But try not to linger. You could end up lost."

I gave him my acknowledgement as they went ahead, I looked at Carol seeing she was very concern.

"Carol? You alright?" I asked her, "It's not your heat again is it?"

"No, it's not that Kage." She replied, "After the night at your Uncle's, it finally died down. I wanted to ask you about that name."

My ears fell back, knowing what she was going to ask, "Was that the name of the Mightyena you fought back in Sinnoh?"

I gave a short nod as I looked at her, "Yeah it was." I answered, "If that bastard is still alive, even after the wounds I inflicted on him while in Pure Rage."

Carol stopped my sentence, with a sudden hug followed by a deep kiss. I slowly closed my eyes as I wrapped my arms around her. Carol broke our kiss, then gently pressed her crystal against my forehead.

"Just try not to worry about it, Kage." She told me, "Maybe he did die from the wounds and they just haven't gotten word of it."

"Honestly, I do hope you are right about that." I told her, "But, you are right about this, I shouldn't think about him, I have to think about what we are doing right now."

"Come on, Kage. Let's catch up with the others."

"Alright, Carol."

We caught to the others, noticing they had stop. Looking around, we were standing what seemed to be the Commoners section of Hellfire's Kingdom, "shopkeepers" and such. I could hear Jolteon and Glaceon muttering to each other as Glaci was silence for once.

"Damn." I said, looking around at the large cave with many dens and among other things, "shops". As I looked around, Lucario lightly tapped my chest, getting to look at her.

"What is it, Lucario?" I asked, "We only stopped, because Hellfire just froze in place." Lucario replied.

I looked at Hellfire, just standing there. I walked up to him and kneel down to get to his level. "Hey, what's up?"

He stared in front of everyone as he growled softly, "Eclipse."

I looked ahead, seeing two groups of Houndoom, each having someone arguing with another.

"It is the will of the Counsel that makes a King." The Houndoom on the right growled, with an old but wise voice, "And a King who nominates his successor, none of it is carried in the blood."

"Or as of now, when someone tries to pull a coupe." The Houndoom on the left snarled, "Whose to say what my Father said in his finally breath, when it was only the usurper Samael at his side!"

"I'll have you thrown into the Holding Dens!" The older one snarled back, "You've bitten off more than you can chew!" The younger one barked.

"Guards! Separate these two in the Noble Quarters!" a third Houndoom barked out as he walked between the two, "I will not have Eclipse start a riot!"

A fourth Houndoom snarled at the third as he slowly approaches him, "Do not speak that way, to the one who should be King!"

What happened next shocked us all, except Hellfire. The fourth Houndoom knocked the third off of his feet and then sank his fangs into his throat. The third Houndoom let out a dying howl, before his windpipe was severed, the group on the right shielded the older Houndoom and lead him away as the younger one stood there with a wicked smirk at the deed, before leaving with his group, after the fourth Houndoom removed his fangs from the fresh corpse. I quickly looked over to Glaci, seeing her hugging Glaceon's leg, shivering in fear.

"M-Mommy?" she quivered, "Why d-did that Pokémon hurt the other one?"

"I don't know why that happened, sweetie." Glaceon replied, "Just stay close to us, until whatever is going on here passes."

Glaci nods at her mother, I stood back and sighed out, "Ok, first things first, Hellfire take us to the Council, so you can be welcome back as a citizen."

"Alright, we have to go through the Noble Quarters." He replied, "It's a small cave system that leads to the upper dens."

"Dens on higher grounds?" Carol asked, "How do we even get to them?"

"Like I said there is a small cave system, you could say what humans calls a 'ramp'." Hellfire stated.

We began to walk towards the cave system, he mentioned, but then my ears twitched so someone whining, "Wait. I heard someone in trouble." I stated.

"That wouldn't surprise me." Hellfire responded, "With no King, those who love to commit crimes are now running around."

I then, heard the whine again, but closer and a voice which caught everyone's attention, "Didn't learn your lesson the last time, you little thief?!"

I walked to the source of the voice, as the others followed closely, I then saw a group of Pokémon, some Grass-types, but most were Houndoom. They seem to be stomping on someone, since I heard one yell out thief. They moved away after a bit, revealing a young Houndour, whimpering out from the assault. Hellfire growled out and charged forward, ramming into one Houndoom, sending him into another.

"Leave this pup, alone!" he snarled out, as the attackers looked at him, the Grass-types gasped out while the Houndoom just smiled.

"Well, got tired of living so you sunk in to die, Kinslayer?" he mocked, I walked up next to Hellfire and extend my claws.

"Who said anything about that?" I mocked back, "He's here to restore his place and clear his name."

The Houndoom looked at me before growling out, "Who are you? His human pet?"

"Seriously?" I asked, annoyed, "I thought every Wild Pokémon would recognize me."

"Guess these dicks care about is their fun." Jolteon mocked them, as he approached Hellfire and myself, sending sparks off his body.

"And what makes you think we would recognize a human?" The Houndoom asked, "Wait isn't the Freewill Trainer able to understand us?" a Lopunny asked, being the "victim" of the theft.

"That he can, and the Exile was to return with him." The Houndoom replied, "And you are talking to him right now." I bluntly said.

"You could just be taking—" a Houndoom mocked, before I cut him off with an Extreme Speed knee to his lower jaw.

"I'm sorry, were you about to say 'lucky guesses'?" I mocked back, I glared at the rest of them as the backed up in fear, and then running off. After the all fled in fear, I turned my attention to the young Houndour. I saw that he had some berries, most were smashed by his attackers. Carol came up to us with Glaci in her arms, Glaceon close behind her, and Lucario watching their backs as the came to us. Carol then kneel down to the Houndour as he whimpered out, before looking at us, and let out a small gasp.

"Are you alright?" Carol asked him. The Houndour looked at each of us, panicky before looking at what was left of the berries he stole and snatching them up and running off with them.

"Follow him." Hellfire said, suddenly.

"What?" I asked, "Follow him." He repeated, "There's something about him that seems familiar to me."

I sighed out, but followed what he said, motioning everyone to follow the Houndour. As we followed the pup through the Kingdom, it wasn't long until he went down a cave, that had a downward slope.

"Where does this cave lead to?" Lucario asked, "It leads to the Omega District." Hellfire replied, "Or as the nobles would call it, the slums."

We went down to the slums as it was called, I looked around, seeing all of the Omegas in the Kingdom, some eyeing us weakly, others more coldly or threating. I told everyone to be on their guard, Hellfire ignored all of the Omegas looking at us. It was quite damp in the slums, I was going to ask Hellfire if he knew where he was going, but noticed he was followed freshly made paw prints in the mud, leading us to an old den that the other Omegas stayed clear of.

"He's in there." Hellfire said, "Well, are we going in there?" Glaceon asked.

"I have to agree, with Glaceon." Carol added, "I'm not liking the eyes staring at us."

My ear twitched as I heard a few chuckling threating and lustfully, until I dart my glare back and let out a short snarl, getting a few to back off while the rest saw it as a challenge. I ignore them and allowed everyone to enter before me, as we quietly walked into the den, Hellfire stopped and raised his paw to signal us to stop. I listen carefully hearing a faint cough, before Hellfire moves slowly.

"You did it again, didn't you?" the weak voices asked, before coughing out again. We didn't hear a reply, instead some scuffling, "Every time you leave, you always return injured."

"I know that voice." Hellfire said quietly, I watched as he slowly round the passage way, hearing a frighten gasp, followed by coughing.

"What do you want?" the voice asked, "If it's because of the thievery, take it out on me!"

Not wanting to be on the bad side of things I quickly round the corner myself, "We are not with the guards." I said, "In fact, we stopped the guards harming your pup."

"What is a human doing here?!" the female Houndoom asked, "No human is allowed—" she stopped as she coughed loudly, Hellfire took a step forward and used his Flamethrower to ignite the fire pit in the den, lighting it up then gasping out as he saw the female.

"Lilith." He spoke softly, the Houndoom turned her panic eyes to Hellfire, before she too gasped out, and struggle to stand up.

"Is-is that really you, Prince Hellfire?" she asked, tears forming in her eyes. He gave her a short nod, before she slowly walked up to him and nuzzled into him lovingly, as he did the same to her.

"I thought you were lost to the Raging Ravine." She sobbed quietly, "I almost was." Hellfire replied, "But I was found by a union of Espeon and Umbreon. They healed me and the human I needed to find ended up there a few moons later."

Lilith, as her name is, coughed out before falling to the ground, "Master." Lucario said, getting my attention to her, seeing as she just finished scanning Lilith's aura, "The female is extremely ill."

"Lucky for us, I bought some Full Restore." I said as I began to look through my pack and pulled one out, "I have a feeling you are more towards traditions and all, but this will help you greatly and in much shorter time."

I placed a unique nozzle on the end of the Full Restore to turn it, similar to an inhaler, "When I push the button to release the medicine, inhale deeply." I instructed Lilith, she weakly nods to me. I placed the Full Restore as close as I could to her, and she weakly bit down on the end of the nozzle. I pressed the button, seeing Lilith's face as the medicine sprayed into her mouth, she coughed out before trying her best to inhale deeply. Once the container was empty, I removed the nozzle from Lilith as she coughed out loudly.

"Th-that was horrible." She coughed, "I know, but it works." I replied.

"Lilith, what happened to you?" Hellfire asked, "After our night together, I heard you were to receive the Kinslayer Exile." She replied.

"The Exile was true, but the crime was false." Hellfire explained, "The crime was murdering my older brother. I didn't do that."

"I know you couldn't do that." Lilith said, "Just from that one night I knew what kind of Houndoom you are."

"You can say that again." Glaceon stated, "It was my old pack that found him, and my father being the Alpha welcomed him into the pack."

"And if you happen to meet with them again, please give them my thanks." Lilith told Glaceon, "But ever since then, Prince Eclipse had me branded as the 'Kinslayer Whore' and allowed anyone to torture our son."

All of us looked at her in shock hearing the last part, "Wait, did you say 'our'?" Carol asked, "As in, yours and Hellfire's?" Jolteon added.

Lilith nods her head and then turned to the Houndour, motioning him to come out, "I did. My prince, Hellfire. This Houndour is your son."

Hellfire was still in shock, over the fact he had a son, "So, by the way tradition is done in the Kingdom, if Hellfire wasn't exile, you would have been seen as a royal?" I asked.

Lilith looked over at me, confused, before Hellfire spoke up, "He can understand us, Lilith. The human I was to bring back is in fact, the Freewill Trainer."

Lilith gasped out, "By Arceus. It is an honor to be in your presents, Freewill Trainer." She said to me, "To answer your question, yes I would have been a royal, but because of the exile, our son has been tortured by everyone, and that bastard of a prince, Eclipse was the first one to do so."

"Damn him." Hellfire growled, "The kingdom is on the edge of a civil war, all because of him!"

"Trust me on this Hellfire, we'll make him pay for his crime." I told him, he gave me a nod before turning to Lilith, "I swear on my Father's name, Eclipse will pay for what he has done."

"You just got back, my Prince." Lilith said, "I don't think I can stand to lose you again."

"I just have to present the Freewill Trainer to the Council and I can then present the true crime." He said.

"I have a feeling it won't be that easy." Carol said, I turned over to her, "I have to agree on that, but I'm curious on what makes you say that?" I asked.

"Well, I just have this nagging feeling in the back of my head," Carol explained, "almost like you need a third party to end this debate over the throne."

There was a short silence as we thought it over, "A third party." I muttered, "Well, there is there Master Forger." Lilith said.

"Master Forger?" I asked, "Some Steel-types are deep in the mountain and there is to believe a Heatran that forged the crown of the first king, Straga lives there." Hellfire began.

"Your grandfather, right?" I asked, "Well, my great-great-great-grandfather." He replied, "Carol are you saying, we need to ask him for help?"

"Having the word of a Legendary will be very helpful." She replied, "To put it simply, if Heatran says Samael is more fit to be king than Eclipse, the Counsel will have no choice but to make him king." Lilith added.

"Of course." Hellfire agreed, "But Lilith, Getting to Heatran is impossible."

"Why is it impossible?" I asked, "Well, he lives in the very center of the mountain, the heart of it." He replied, "It'll take about a week to get to him and back."

"Well, I guess what you can do is just present me to your Counsel to return as a citizen." I said, "Then I can, I don't know, ask for a third party to say who should be king?"

"That won't be necessary, Uchiha."

Everyone, except for Carol and myself jumped at the sudden voice. I looked at Carol as she giggled lightly, and I shook my head, "Lady Ho-Oh, you seem to love hearing my conversations, don't you?" I asked.

"Ho-Oh was listening this whole time?" Jolteon asked, "Not was, young Jolteon." She replied, "I've been listening since he decided to come here."

"So, what is your opinion on the matter?" I asked, "Not one, but a message." Lady Ho-Oh replied.

"And what is the message?" Hellfire demanded, "Hellfire, be careful." Carol warned him, "The voice is that of Ho-Oh that rules the Johto Region."

"And I very much dislike your tone, Young Prince."

"I-I Please forgive me." Hellfire apologized, "I meant no disrespect."

"Very well, the message comes from Heatran himself. He had sensed you were close to the mountain, Uchiha, and has already forged a crown for the next king."

"How is that possible?" Lilith asked, "The Houndoom would have to go for fitting—"

"Actually, he informed me, that the crown is the same size as the first king's head, who happened to be the same size as the young prince."

"So, we just go to Heatran and get the crown?" Lucario asked, nervously, "No, Heatran sent his own messenger with the crown, Heatran only asked that you meet the messenger in the commoner section of the kingdom."

"How would we know who the messenger is?" I asked Lady Ho-Oh, only getting silence.

"What happened?" Hellfire asked, "Something must have come up and Lady Ho-Oh ended the link to our minds." I replied, "It happens more often than you think."

"Well, we know what needs to be done." Carol stated, "Kage, why don't you take Jolteon, and go with Hellfire?"

"What about you and the others?" I asked, "I was thinking Glaceon, Lucario, Glaci and myself could stay with Lilith and her pup." She replied, "I just think the pup needs someone around his age and around others that won't harm him."

I gave her a nod, "Alright, that makes sense." I said, "Well Hellfire, looks like Jolteon and I will tag along with you."

Hellfire gave me a nod, then looked at Lilith and nuzzled her, "I'll be right back, I promise." He told her.

I quickly looked at everyone, noticing they were not looking at me. I reached into my satchel around my belt loop behind me and touched the Ocarina.

"Regirock, can you hear me?"

"Of course, I can! What is it you request?"

"I need you to blend into the cave walls at my location for 'back-up' reasons."

"I'll signal you, when I have."

I quickly pulled my hand out of the satchel and looked around the walls, until my eyes caught the familiar pattern of Regirock's "eyes" blinking out. I gave a short nod and Hellfire lead myself and Jolteon out of the den. As we left the slums my ear twitched to a group of males.

"It seems they left the females in with the Whore."

"What fools, some outsiders do feel quite pleasurable right now."

I gave a silent smirk as I continue to walk, "They'll be surprised at, how foolish they really are."

As we re-entered the commoner section of the Kingdom, trying to figure out who was the messenger of Heatran, we were stopped by a group of Houndoom, wearing armor.

"Oh great." Jolteon muttered, "What do these assholes want?"

"They are Royal Guards." Hellfire replied, "If they are here, that could only mean one thing."

"Your brother wants you silence." I stated, "Exactly." He replied. One Houndoom among them, having a golden trim on his armor approached us.

"You three need come with us at once." He demanded, "And if we refuse?" Jolteon growled, giving off sparks.

Hellfire stepped in between the two, glaring at what I can assume to be the leader, "Under whose authority?" he asked, "That is on a need-to-know basis." The leader replied.

"And as of now, you don't need to know." One of the other Houndoom mocked out, the leader turned back and glared at the one that spoke, "Hold your tongue, Private!"

"I'll ask again." Hellfire told the leader, "Under whose authority? If you want our corporation, then you will tell us you ordered you to get us."

"Once again, that is a need-to-know basis." He repeated, "And if you do not comply, we will use force."

Hellfire and the leader glared each other down, "Then it will be force, if you sent by my brother." Hellfire growled.

"As I recall, Kinslayer, you are no longer a member of the Royal Family." He growled back.

"That's enough!" My ears sudden twitched to the new voice, as well as Jolteon jumping slightly. The Leader of the Royal Guards and his group sat down in attention at the commanding voice.

"Of course, Your Highness." The Royal guards barked, in unison.

"Honestly, you would have been back at the Palace if you just told them, I sent you."

I looked onward seeing four more Royal Guards escorting a fifth Houndoom, "Forgive me, Your Highness." The leader said, "But as the Kinslayer, he should not know—"

"He is no longer banished, Sargent!" the Houndoom barked, "He has brought the Freewill Trainer to the Kingdom. He has the eyes of that human clan."

The Guards muttered among themselves, "Really now, you thought he would return, under punishment of death, if he returned without him?"

"Of course not, Your Highness." The Sargent said.

"You sent them for us, Mother?" Hellfire asked the Houndoom, "Of course, I did." She replied, "Some of the nobles began to spread a rumor that you had return."

Hellfire smiled at his mother, being reunited after so long, until Jolteon stepped forward, "Sorry to cut this happy moment short." He said, "But we have a Pokémon to find, remember Hellfire?"

"And what does this outsider mean by that, Hellfire?" she asked, "To make the explanation short, Mother." Hellfire began, "The Freewill Trainer was giving a message from a Legendary."

"And how is it, that he received this message without word getting throughout the kingdom?"

I step forward, clearing my throat from the heat and getting Queen Uriel's attention, "Well, Your Highness, the reason word hasn't gotten out about a Legendary entering the Kingdom, is due to Lady Ho-Oh commune with me through a telepathic link she creates." I explained.

"And you told my son of it?" she asked, "No, Mother. Ho-Oh connected all of our minds for the message." Hellfire replied, "The message was, Forge Master Heatran sent a messenger with a crown for the next chosen king."

Queen Uriel and the Royal Guards looked shocked, and began to mutter among themselves, "Silence, all of you!" Queen Uriel barked, getting all of them to sit at attention again, "And just who is the chosen king picked by Heatran?"

"We don't know." I replied, "We were on our way to meet his messenger, before those idiots stopped us." Jolteon growled out, while glaring at the group of Royal Guards.

"And just what does that mean, Outsider?" the Private snarled out, "It means we could have settled your little civil war over your throne and be on our way!" Jolteon snarled back.

"Private, stand down!" the Sargent barked, "If I have to tell you that again, you'll be on the night patrol!"

From what I can see, tension was high for Hellfire's kingdom, Jolteon's snarling at the Royal Guards was not helping with that tension, "Enough!" Queen Uriel barked, "All of you, return to your posts at once!"

The group bowed their heads and slowly walked away, returning to their original posts, "If what you say is true," she told us, "Settle this dispute over the throne."

After which, Queen Uriel went with her four Royal Guards escorted her back to the palace.

"Well with that little reunion done." I said, "Let's find Heatran's messenger."

"That won't be a problem." A voice called out, "Seeing how loud that argument was, I was able to find you."

My ears twitched to the voice as I looked around, and spotted an unusual Pokémon, laying seductively on a statue that honored a great warrior.

"You?!" Hellfire snarled out, flames flaring in is mouth, "Oh? I take it we met before?" the Pokémon asked.

"During my mission to retrieve my grandfather's helmet, many moons ago!"

"Hmm, funny. I was told to find treasure for my employer but those who were under my control only told me about that stupid helmet." She stated, enraging Hellfire.

"What did you say about the Helmet of King Lavitz?!" he snarled out.

"What's the deal?" the Pokémon asked, "I was told to bring the crown back to him, but all that was there was a stupid helmet. After I returned empty-handed, I was told to break into some hall and steal that helmet for my employer."

"You stole it?!"

I listen to the information carefully, piecing together what was happening, before I let out a small gasp, and widen my eyes, knowing who the Pokémon was.

"Hold on." I said, "Your employer told you to steal the helmet and bring to him?"

"Yes, he did and after that I was told to find the Freewill Trainer, which is you."

"You were sent by Heatran, weren't you?" I asked, "That I was. Wait, how did you know?" she asked.

"I have a telepathic connection with Lady Ho-Oh and any other Legendaries I have encountered." I replied, "So, what is the message from Heatran?"

"Well to start," the Pokémon began, "there wasn't much minerals to forge a crown."

"Then how did Heatran forge a crown for his chosen king?" Hellfire snarled, still pissed off about the Pokémon stealing his grandfather's helmet.

"He used the helmet to make it!" she hissed back, "Melted it down and forge a new crown from it." With that said, she threw a satchel at us, I caught it and began to open it up, revealing a crown that would fit a Houndoom, "Heatran also said, the king will be up to you, Freewill Trainer."

I looked back up, only to see the Pokémon had left, "Hey, did any of you two see where she went?" I asked.

Jolteon and Hellfire looked around, unable to find any sign of her, "Where did that thief run off to?!" Hellfire barked, "It doesn't matter, Hellfire." I told him, "We can go to the Counsel and tell them what Heatran said."

I got a nod from each of them and Hellfire lead the way to the Counsel Sanctum, to give them the news as well as Hellfire's redemption, until I stopped dead in my tracks.

"Wait guys." I said, getting them to stop and look at me.

"What's the hold up?" Jolteon asked, "We need to get the others." I replied, "Since, it got a whole lot easier we need to gather everyone so they can know the truth first hand."

I saw Hellfire thinking about it, before getting an idea in his head, "While you return to the slums for them, I'll try to convince my mother to head to the Counsel Sanctum." He barked, I gave him a nod as Jolteon and myself turned around and headed back to the slums as Hellfire made his way to the Noble Quarters.

(Lucario's P.O.V.)

After Master left us in the den with Hellfire's mate and pup, I began to see why Carol suggested us to stay back, the small one called Glaci, slowly walked to the young Houndour as Glaceon laid down, keeping an eye on her own pup, almost trying to be friends with him.

"Hi there, I'm Glaci." She barked happily to the you Houndour then waited for a response.

The young Houndour just let's out a small groan and huddles closer to his mother, "Umm, this is when you say 'hi' back and tell me your name." Glaci said, almost like a parent would.

"I'm sorry little one." Lilith said, "But, my son doesn't have a name yet."

"I take it, that's another tradition in this kingdom?" Glaceon asked, "Both parents have to come to an agreement for the pup's name?"

"Close but no." She replied, "Since my pup was born a male, Prince Hellfire is the one that has to name him, the tradition is the same sex parent names the pup.

"And with how things are going at the moment," Carol stated, "Hellfire is too busy to name his son."

"And to be fair, he didn't know about him until now." Glaceon added, "But why doesn't he say 'hi' back after I did?" Glaci whined out.

"I'm afraid that has to be Eclipse's fault." Lilith replied, "Once he learned of my night with Hellfire and knew I had a pup, any time my little boy spoke the rest of the kingdom made seem it was a crime for him to speak."

"So, he can't speak?" I asked, a little concern, "More like, he won't speak." She replied.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Carol said, as she sat down next to Glaceon, "He won't speak even to you?"

Lilith shook her head slowly and sighed out sadly, it was then her son nuzzles into her, groaning out as if to comfort her. I paid attention to him as I checked his aura, seeing that he truly cared for his mother, I then gasped out as I jumped from the wall and stood in near the center of the den as I panted out and shook in fear in a battle stance.

"Lucario?" I heard Carol gasp out, "What's wrong?"

"S-several auras are walking this way." I stuttered, "W-with ill intentions."

I heard Glaceon stand up and stood next to me, ready to help fight them off, as five Houndoom walked in the den, laughing softly and growling lustfully at us.

"Those males were fools to think you would be safe here." One growled out taking a step towards myself and Glaceon as I visibly stepped back.

"Back the hell off!" Glaceon snarled out, "You think you can take any of us on?" one the Houndoom mocked, "The heat down here will render your weak Ice-attacks useless."

I gasped out as my shivering got worse, when their leader looked at me, "And this one is too frightened to fight us." He mocked, I began to panic as I saw eight of them circle around everyone.

"Let's not forget about the Half-Blood here." One of the chuckled, "We've heard that those we are weak too, give us twice the pleasure."

My eyes darted around trying to figure out a way to fight them all off, but the fear that was building and showing kept me from thinking clearly, until there was a loud noise causing me to jump and spin around towards the back of the den seeing everyone looking at the wall.

"Threat as reached critical levels!"

"D…Did that wall just talk?" Lilith asked, confused as everyone.

"Don't try to play us as fools, Whore!" one of the snarled, "That wall didn't talk! Walls can't talk!"

It was then large boulders were flung off the wall slamming into each of the threating Houndoom, some slammed into the other walls and the others flew out of the den.

"What the hell was that?!" the leader snarled, before the back wall seemed to erupt, as the small rocks hit everyone and the dust settled, I shook more in fear as I heard loud thundering footsteps. Lilith grabbed her son and cowered into a corner as the Legendary Regirock emerged from the wall and walked to the Houndoom leader.

"Ice and Steel-types of the disadvantage on you," he boomed, "But I sure as hell don't!"

The others yelped out in fear as the all ran out, with their leader glaring at them all, "Cowards!" he snarled.

"No, they were wise!" Regirock said, "You on the other hand, are a fool thinking you can harm those who are friends to the Chosen One!"

The Houndoom, let loose a Flamethrower as I gasped out and accidently tripped over Carol.

"Hey, Lucario." She said placing a hand on my shoulder as I panted out fearfully, "It's ok, calm down."

I looked up and saw that Regirock didn't flinch at all from the intense flames, "Wrong choice." He boomed, rearing his left arm back as it slightly glowed, "Brick Break!"

Regirock slammed his "fist" or the boulder that is his hand into the Houndoom leader sending him flying out of the den, followed by loud grunts. He then walked out as I slowly stood up and slowly followed feeling the others behind me. The other Omegas gasped in fear as they saw Regirock stomping towards them.

"Well guess I was right to ask you to watch over them." I heard a voice. I looked pass Regirock to see, Master Kage standing behind the group that attacked us.

"Kage?!" Carol gasped out, "What are you doing back?"

"To get you," he replied, "we found the Pokémon sent by Heatran. Hellfire went to get his mother while Jolteon and I came back for you, Glaceon, Glaci, Lucario, as well as Lilith and her pup."

"Us as well?" Lilith asked, "N-no there must be a mistake."

"You saying Hellfire didn't want you to bare witness to his name being cleared?" Jolteon asked, "Well, after what happened to him, all of the nobles—"

"We get the idea, torture you on your way back to the slums." Master Kage interrupted, "But he wants you up there."

"What do you wish of these fools?" Regirock boomed, getting most of us to gasp out or jump out of our fur, "They spoke of pleasure that your mate and friends would give them."

"Did they now?" he asked looking at the group, "I wonder was the attempt worth it? Trying to violate my friends and my mate?!"

Immediately all of them began to shake their heads while saying no multiple times, "Good answer." Master Kage replied, "Now if you value your lives, get out of my sight!" he roared out, extending his claws, making them glow silver, all of the Houndoom in the group yelped out in fear as the scramble to their feet and ran off.

"Alright, thanks Regirock." He told the Rock Titan, with a slight nod, Regirock began to walk away, deeper into the slums, as I kept my eyes on him I watched him walk into a cave wall, and just vanished into the rocks.

"Lucario!" I heard Glaceon call out, whipping my head to face her, "Come on, let's go." I gave a small nod and walked over.

(Kage's P.O.V.)

WE quickly made our way through the commoners following Hellfire's scent, I decided to change my form so his scent was clearer for me.

"How can you tell his scent from the other Houndoom?" Jolteon asked as he panted out from our non-stop running.

"Well to start, his scent was out in the open since he was exile." I stated as I sniffed ground, finding his scent, "So it's much cleaner than those of this musky cave."

"Honestly, Jolteon." Glaceon growled, "You would have known that since you've been a Pokémon far longer than Kage."

"That is true," Jolteon admitted, "but when was the last time we ever tracked anything or anyone?"

"I have his scent!" I announced, ending that argument, "This way, everyone!"

We all took off to a tunnel that felt like it's ramp was moving us higher in the cave system, once we exit the tunnel the Houndoom that were looking at us were more well groomed with a few giving us a cold, snobby look. I looked around and spotted three Royal Guards, two of them holding a Houndoom of while the other stood there smirking.

"Damn it! Let go of me!" the Houndoom yelled out, "You can't keep me from going to the Counsel!"

"Actually, we can." The group leader spoke, "We have orders to keep you from seeing the Counsel until they settle the throne."

"Eclipse gave you that order, didn't he?!" the Houndoom demanded, recognizing the voice being Hellfire's.

"That's Prince Eclipse to you, Kinslayer. Since your exile I was promoted to second in command of the Royal Guards by the great Prince."

"You're that recruit that harassed that scholar about your grandfather." Hellfire growled, "The Prince also knew about those lies, and in honor of my grandfather, I was made the second in command." The former recruit boasted.

Hellfire struggled against the two that held him down, to no avail, "Damn it! Eclipse is the liar and the Kinslayer!" he snarled.

"Nice try. But your trail for your crime was put in the Chamber of Memories. Therefore, anything you have done is dishonorable, such as the lies about my grandfather." He smirked, "Now as the second in command of the Royal Guards, by order of Prince Eclipse I am ordering you, Kinslayer, to be silent. Permanently!"

I rushed over with Extreme Speed as the recruit jumped at Hellfire, baring his fangs. I headbutt the asshole feeling and hearing his muzzle breaking against my skull. I skid to a stop as the recruit flail around in front of my groaning loudly in pain.

"Hey!" I heard a voice behind, as I looked back seeing one of Hellfire's restrainers letting go, "You dare attack the royal—"

He was suddenly cut off as Hellfire slammed his curved horns into the guard's throat, causing him to gasp out for air. The second one holding him down began to sink his fangs deeper into Hellfire's shoulder, getting him to groan out. Before I rushed over, I saw the Houndoom released Hellfire and flew pass me, I looked back seeing Jolteon sparking off.

"Get your fangs off of my friend!" he barked, I looked back at the guard he attacked, then back at him, "Double Kick?" I asked, getting a nod from him.

I looked over at Hellfire as he groaned out, and winced at the wound on his shoulder, "My Prince!" Lilith gasped out, running up to him, "Are you alright?"

"We-we both know I survived worse than this." He replied, Lilith lean closer to his shoulder before slowly licking at it. Hellfire winced some more, but more lightly as Lilith licked him. It wasn't long until Lilith stopped licking and looked at Hellfire.

"Any better, my Prince?" she asked, "Yeah, much better." He replied.

I quickly changed my forms and stretched a little before whistling at them, "Hellfire where is the Counsel Sanctum?" I asked.

"It's just up ahead." He replied, slowly walking in front of me, "If those three were meant to stop me from getting to the Counsel."

"It must mean Eclipse is wanting the throne as quickly as possible?" Carol asked, "That's a theory, but yes." Hellfire answered.

"Then let's get in there and make him pay for his crimes!" Glaceon said. We walked into a large cave and saw a single guard at, what seemed to be a door, looking at us, and glared at Hellfire.

"You don't belong here, Kinslayer." He growled, "Especially with the throne being settled right now."

"That will happen, after I present the Freewill Trainer." Hellfire respond, "He is who I needed to bring to left my exile."

"The Counsel is in session to settle the throne! No one will enter!"

I snarled out as I grabbed the guard and slammed him into the cave wall, getting a gasp from Glaci and Carol.

"Listen here, you son of a bitch!" I snarled, "Since we arrived, I saw what kind of king Eclipse will be, my mate and friends were nearly raped by your kingdom's Omegas, and three Royal Guards under orders by Eclipse were sent to kill Hellfire if he came close to the Sanctum! So, if you were told by that bastard Eclipse to keep us out, I'll break all four of your legs. Right here and right now!"

"Threating me will get you nowhere!" he snarled out, "But my orders from the Queen will!" a voice barked out.

I looked backed as did everyone else did, seeing a Houndoom wearing the Royal Guard armor, "I have orders for you from Queen Uriel." She barked.

"And those are what?" the guard I was strangling growled, "You are ordered to let Prince Hellfire and the Outsiders entry to the Counsel Sanctum."

"And if I refuse those orders?" the guard snarled, "Then you are removed from your post and will be on guard duty for the entrance of the kingdom, permanently."

I dropped the guard as he hit the ground, he gasped out and coughed loudly, "This is the Kinslayer, you fool!" he coughed, "He is no longer a prince!"

"He has fulfilled his exile conditions, he has returned as Prince Hellfire." she bluntly responded, "And seeing how you won't let them in, you are hereby stationed at the kingdom's entrance."

"Like hell I am." He growled, threatening, "For the glory of King Eclipse!" he roared out before attacking the royal guard, but was stopped mid-air as gasps were heard, as they all witness, me impaling my claws into his chest.

"Then burn in hell." I coldly said as I threw his body to the ground, "Sorry you had to see that Glaci."

"Was he a bad Pokémon?" she asked, "In a way he was." I replied. I looked at the female guard, she was still in shock at what I did.

"Look if I have to go on trail for his death, Eclipse is the reason he was killed." I told her.

"I was just told to replace him." She simply said, "now let us enter the Sanctum."

She slowly pushed the doors open and the chamber was filled with Houndoom that represented the members of families or clans in the kingdom, there were a few Grass types as well as a few Normal types, to what I could guess represent the stores of the kingdom.

"Lords and Ladies of the Counsel, I call for order." I heard an elder voice barked, "This argument is getting us nowhere."

"Then why of these delaying tactics?" Eclipse mocked the High Counsel member, "I called for a vote right now. My father has one living heir to assume the throne. Who would deny him of that?"

"Your father made me swear on his death bed, you will not succeed him!" Samael barked.

The royal guard lead us to the center of the Sanctum, and then bowed her head, "I apologize for the interruption, High Counselman." She announced, "But the Exile Prince has returned with his fulfillment by bringing the Freewill Trainer, Kage Uchiha."

We heard several of the Counsel members, gasping and muttering to each other as Hellfire and I walked up to the High Counselman, I watched Hellfire bow his head, respectfully, before doing the same.

"We should let the Freewill Trainer speak." Samael told the rest of the Counsel, "What news do you bring?

I looked up and took a deep breath before speaking, "I come before the Counsel bearing a crown forged by Heatran, the Master Forger." I told them, getting a few more gasps, "As well, as to restore Prince Hellfire's honor and to clear his name of a crime he never committed."

"And we are to trust this?" Eclipse mocked me, "An outsider and the murderer of my oldest brother?"

I looked at him wit ha sudden glare, "Hey, your 'Highness'." I mocked back, getting his attention, "Shut up."

Before he could cause an outburst, I held out the crown I was given, hearing the Counsel agreeing to my words being true.

"How dare you speak to me in such a manner!" Eclipse snarled, "SILENCE!" the High Counselman roared, getting everyone to settled down as he examined the crown more carefully.

"This crown is of the Master Forger." He stated, "And it even bares his mark made by his own fire. Tell us, Freewill Trainer, who did Heatran chose to be king, Samael or Eclipse?"

"Actually," I started, "His messenger said he'll leave that decision up to me." The Counsel began to uproar upon hearing that, some were demanding to have me silence while others couldn't believe it.

"This outsider knows nothing about us or our traditions!" Eclipse snarled, "Why would a Legendary let him decide such a weighty decision?! This is ridiculous!"

"We've argued in this Chamber long enough!" Samael barked, "The will of the Legendaries is for the Freewill Trainer to decide."

"I agree with Lord Samael." The High Counselman said, "Who do you chose, Freewill Trainer?"

I looked around seeing how everyone was awaiting my chose. I looked back at Carol and the others, getting a small nod from Carol, knowing who I was choosing. I smiled back, before looking back at the High Counselman.

"I will give the crown, to Prince Hellfire!" I called out, hearing many gasped out and couldn't believe what I said, even from Hellfire.

"WHAT!?" Eclipse roared out, "To end this debate once and for all, Hellfire is the rightful heir." I called out, "He was framed for the murder of Prince Inferno and was exile so he couldn't have a chance at the throne."

"And where is your proof?" a female voice asked, "My proof, I have none." I replied, "But let me ask the Counsel this, did no one find it strange that Eclipse knew where to find Inferno and the others?" I looked around, seeing the Counsel members questioning each other.

"Not only that, but Eclipse wanted Hellfire to be exile without a proper trail?" I asked, "To not hear his side of the story? The only one, who believed that Hellfire was set up was none other than Lord Samael. And if I'm correct, eventually the King himself?"

"That is why, King Abaddon, my dearest friend wanted to speak to me alone." He replied, "He pieced it all together, too late."

"And, my father died of broken heart, not seeing the truth sooner?" Hellfire asked, "Indeed." He replied, "After his death I pushed for an investigation for the crime, but Eclipse would not have it."

"There is no evidence of any of this!" Eclipse barked out, "I will not have my name sullied by and Outsider and a Kinslayer!"

I looked around, seeing royal guards emerging for the shadows, circling everyone, "Now human." Eclipsed snarled at me, "My crown."

I glared back as I put it in my satchel, and extend my claws, using Metal Claw, "Come and get it yourself." I growled, "Unless you're too much of a coward yourself to get it."

"KILL THEM ALL!" Eclipse roared, "I declared, the Duel of Flames!" Hellfire barked, causing everyone to freeze.

"What was that?" Eclipse snarled, "You heard me, brother. The Duel of Flames, only you and I will fight until one of us submits or dies."

I slowly backed up, until I stood next to Carol, watching Hellfire and Eclipse circle each other at the center of the Sanctum.

"Kage?" Carol asked me, I looked at her, see the concern in her eyes, "Do you think?"

"Hellfire can beat Eclipse." I replied, "The way Eclipse fights, he has to plan it out in advance and he always attacks from the shadows."

"What is the meaning of this?!" a voice demanded.

I quickly turned around, seeing Queen Uriel and her guards walking into the Sanctum.

"This murderer called the Duel of Flames, Mother!" Eclipse called out, "Only after I demanded the crown the outsider failed to give me!"

"What are you talking about, Eclipse?" she asked, "The Freewill Trainer was asked to give the crown to the next king." A Lady of the Counsel replied.

"I can explain better." I told Uriel, "The messenger of Heatran came to us and informed me that the choice of the next king was up to me."

"A Legendary let you pick the next king?" she asked, "Why would—"

"Because he knew I was nearby, and I'm known as the Chosen One of the Legendaries." I replied.

"More lies!?" Eclipsed roared out, "How long have you practiced that pathetic speech!?"

"If I were you, I would hold my tongue!"

I looked around seeing everyone one In the Counsel Sanctum, looking around shocked at the sudden voice. I chuckled before speaking up.

"Finally decided to speak up, Lady Ho-Oh?" I asked, feeling everyone staring at me.

"Well you know me, Uchiha." She replied, "I only speak when needed."

"Who the hell are you?!" Eclipse demanded, "You dare speak to a Prince as if I'm lower than you?!"

"Because, you are below me!"

Before Eclipse could snap back, Hellfire dashed and began to fight him, slashing each other with their claws, and sinking the fangs into each other.

"You should pay attention, Eclipse." Hellfire snarled, "Never argue with a Legendary!"

"And you should never fight your superiors!" Eclipse snarled back and kicked dust into Hellfire's eyes.

Hellfire groaned out, rubbing his face, as Eclipse chuckled wickedly, and bared his fangs, aiming for Hellfire's throat.

"You should have never returned!" he roared out.

"And you need a better battle strategy." Hellfire said smirking.

Eclipse snapped his jaw, biting nothing. Hellfire swiftly slid to his right avoiding Eclipse's fangs, before ramming his horns into his brother's shoulder, Dislocating it.

"What the Hell?!" Eclipse snarled.

"I know you too well, Eclipse." Hellfire responded, "Yu never fought fairly or honorable in a fight. You always found ways to take cheap shots, such as blinding your opponent."

"That still doesn't explain how you knew where I was attacking!" Eclipse roared out.

"And I told you, I know you too well." Hellfire responded, "You always cheat in fights, no matter what. You never knew how to fight fair."

"Making you a coward." I added, "Hellfire has been battling and training with me, since we set out to come here. He is much stronger than before."

"and with your shoulder dislocated, there is no way for you to fight." Hellfire told his brother, "Submit to defeat and the claim to the throne which you never had."

Eclipse snarled out, before huffing, "I submit." He quietly said.

Hellfire slowly turned, walking away from Eclipse. I then felt a sudden twinge in the air as my Aura Sight suddenly activated, I looked around and noticed Eclipse's Aura was raging a dark blue. Lucario mention that raging dark blue Aura was a sign of ill intension. I prepared myself as I kept my eyes on him.

"Kage?" What's Wrong?" Carol asked me, "It's Eclipse. He's up to something." I replied.

"I'll submit, when I'm DEAD!" Eclipse roared and lunged at Hellfire while his back was turned.

I dashed forward with Extreme Speed, slamming my fist into Eclipse's throat, causing him to gasp out. I then grabbed his head and slammed him into the ground.

"Trying to cheat, Eclipse?!" I snarled out, "You said you submit to defeat then you try to kill Hellfire from behind!"

Eclipse began to whizzingly laugh as I held him down, "You find something funny?!"

"He-Hellfire had o-outside h-help." He wheezed out, "I-I win the Duel of Flames, you attacked me, giving Hellfire outside help! I am the King now!"

"The hell you are." The High Counsel member growled, I looked up, releasing Eclipse as he panted heavily.

"Wh-what did you say, Old man?" he growled, "This Outsider attacked me, Hellfire knew the rules of the Duel, no outside help! I WIN!"

"You told Hellfire 'I submit' then tried to kill him when the Duel was over." The High Counsel member said, "You are not fit to be king."

Eclipse snarled out as he glared over to Hellfire as he still tried to get the dust out of his eyes to see, "All of the moons of planning, to be king." He snarled, "All you had to was to die in the Ravine after you received your punishment!"

"Planning?" Queen Uriel spoke up, "Eclipse what planning?"

"He just said it." I replied, "To be king. He murdered Prince Inferno, blackmailed and bride the two scouts that were Hellfire into saying it was he you killed him, and already had half of the Counsel under his paw to vote for the Kinslayer Exile on Hellfire, then inflict more wounds then necessary to him before throwing him into the Raging Ravine in hopes he'll drown. If it wasn't for Glaceon's parents the alphas of the union of Umbreon and Espeon he would have died."

All of the counsel members began to talk among themselves as the Royal Guards Eclipse had ordered to kill everyone looked at each other.

"Samael and your previous king, were the only two who knew the truth." Carol added, "That's why King Abaddon chose Samael as his successor."

Hellfire grunted out as he was finally able to open his eyes, "Not only that Mother he also allowed everyone to torture my son." Hellfire announced, getting gasped from everyone.

"Y-your son?" Queen Uriel asked, I looked back seeing Lilith and their son walk up to Hellfire.

"Turns out Mother, that night before I went on the mission. Lilith and I slept together and that one night was all it took for her to have my son." Hellfire told everyone.

"And it's the reason why Eclipse pasted his so-called law allowing anyone to torture him." Lilith added, "Because he leaned that Hellfire was his father."

Queen Uriel was shocked as eyed Eclipse as he struggled to stand, "You tortured your nephew?!" she barked.

"He is the bastard of a Kinslayer!" he snarled back, "That thing is no more of my nephew than your grandson. It is the son of a Kinslayer!"

I heard Hellfire snarl out with flames shooting from his baring fangs.

"Royal Guards!" he roared out, getting Eclipse to laugh loudly.

"You fool! Kill him!" Eclipse barked. The Royal Guards glared at Eclipse and then looked at Hellfire sitting down obediently.

"Yes, Your Highness?" they barked in unison, Eclipse's eyes shot open.

"Take the disgraced former Prince, Eclipse to the Holding Dens." Hellfire ordered them, "He'll remain there until his trail."

"No!" Queen Uriel barked, getting all of us to look at her, as Eclipse smirked wickedly, "He is to remain I the Holding Dens until Hellfire's coronation is complete."

"What?!" Eclipse barked, angrily, "After which, he is to be taken to the Raging Ravine, and receive the Kinslayer Exile." She continued, "No condition."

"The hell did you just say, you hag?" Eclipse snarled out, before growling out as four Royal Guards pinned him down and began to drag him away.

"Our mother said, no conditions." Hellfire answered, "In other words you are forever exile from the Kingdom, and if you dare return, the guards will be ordered to kill on sight."

Eclipse tried to lunge at Hellfire as he cursed his name, but the guards held him back and forced him out of the Sanctum.

"Hellfire." The High Counsel member barked, Hellfire quickly turned to face him as he sat down at the center of the Sanctum waiting for him.

"It's time." Was all he said.

Hellfire made his way to the center of the Sanctum before bowing his head down to the High Counsel member, "Freewill Trainer, the crown, if you will." He said to me.

I pulled the crown that Heatran's messenger gave to me, to the High Counsel member. He took hold of it with his fangs and carefully placed it on Hellfire's head.

"By the will of the Legendaries and the decision of the Counsel, you will go down in the Hall of Memories as our Kingdom's next ruler, King Hellfire."

Hellfire raised his head and turned around, everyone in the Sanctum, including my group bowed their heads respectfully.

"I would like the word to spread throughout the Kingdom." Hellfire said to the Royal Guards, "That the throne is settled."

"Yes, Your Highness."

Many of them left the Sanctum, as ordered to tell everyone. Hellfire then turned to the High Counsel member, who seemed to be getting ready to say their business was down.

"High Counselman." Hellfire said, getting his attention, "As long as the Counsel is still here, there are two announcements I wish to say."

"by all means, my King." He replied, "My first announcement, is that I did take Lilith into my chamber before my mission and my false accuse of murdering my brother." Hellfire started, "At first she was like an Omega, wanting a higher position to leave the slums, but that changed with me, she and I mated but we did it out of love."

"My King, "Samuel interrupted, "are you saying you wish to take her as your Queen?"

"Yes, I do."

The Counsel began to seem to debate on the matter, most seem to be against the motion, until Jolteon coughed getting them and myself to look at him.

"Just let it happen." He barked, "Hellfire has been through hell and back, found out he had a son and his younger brother torture the boy to the point he no longer speaks, out of fear of being beating."

Still many disagree to the idea.

"Over rule." Queen Uriel barked, "This is not for debate, I can tell she is kind hearted. I am still active Queen am I not?"

The Counsel was silent until Samuel stood up and cleared his throat.

"You all heard, Her Majesty." He said, "Thank you Lord Samuel." Hellfire responded, "And finally, I would like an honest answer here. I want a show of paws how many of you were sided with Eclipse to have me banish."

I looked around seeing many of them nervous to answer, until I saw an Absol stand up, "Your Highness?" she asked, "What will you do to those who were part of it?"

"I'll be honest here, I'll judge each and everyone of you." Hellfire answered her, "You all know I have a keen eye to find the truth, I'll hear and judge each and everyone that was in Eclipse's plot and see if they can still be trusted and to keep their position on the Counsel."

The Absol remained standing, showing she was involved in the plot. As I looked around I saw many Houndoom, two Leafeon, and a few Normal types standing up. I looked at Lucario, who seemed to be scanning their Aura, before looking at me and nods.

"Hellfire, according to Lucario, this is everyone involved." I told him.

"Alright, until then the Counsel shall have a recess." He told them, "To calm your thoughts, so all answers will be truthful."

After which, the Sanctum began to empty out of it's members. I watched as they all left, and noticed Hellfire stopping Samuel.

"A moment if you will?" he asked.

"Of course." Samuel replied.

"You were once both my combat mentor and my history teacher." Hellfire stated, then Samuel lifted his paw.

"Say no more." He answered, "I know you are going to ask if I can be once again to your son, and I'll be honored."

"So, what's his name going to be?" Carol asked, getting Hellfire to look at her, "What?" Hellfire asked.

"Your son's name." she repeated, "According to Lilith, you have to name him, since the traditions is the same sex parent of the child has to name the child."

Hellfire looked at his son and seemed to have thought about it, before his face lit up and smiled warmly, "Atem."

"Atem?" Lilith asked, "Isn't that the name of our Kingdom's second king?"

"Yes, my great-great grandfather." Hellfire replied, "I wish to name our son in honor of him."

"Prince Atem." I said out loud, "It has a nice ring to it."

"I will continue to serve the royal family as my family has since King Straga." Samuel said before leaving the Sanctum.

I smiled as I watched Lilith and Hellfire nuzzle each, before looking at Carol and gently held her hand, getting a smile from her.

After sometime and staying for the "Plot Trials" as they were called, as well as Eclipse's exile, it was time to say good-bye to Hellfire, as we all stood at the entrance to the Kingdom with Hellfire, Lilith, Uriel and Atem with their escorts.

"I can't thank you enough, Freewill Trainer." Hellfire said, "You had a quest from Lady Ho-Oh and you decided to help me before heading out."

"Actually, we were already heading out to the Orre Region when we got lost and came across Glaceon's pack." I stated, "But knowing you were framed for a murder, was something I couldn't let slip by."

"And plus, once Kage makes up his mind there is no way in talking him out of it." Carol told him, as she nudged my arm.

"Well either way, I am grateful." Hellfire said.

"We're all grateful." Queen Uriel said, "My son's name was cleared of the crime, the Mastermind of the coup was punished, and the clival war was over before it got out of hand."

"Lastly, Atem and I no longer have to live our lives in fear." Lilith added, "Well, we were just happy to help." Jolteon stated.

"Anyways, we better head to the docks, further south." I said, "Make your farther proud, Hellfire."

"And my the Legendaries protect you." He replied.

We all began to walk away from the Kingdom, until my ear twitched to the sound of small paws taking a few steps toward, I turned around to see Atem further from his parents and closer to us.

"Th-thank you, Freewill Trainer." He said before running back to his family. I couldn't help but smile, as the young prince spoke up after many months of fear.

"So, we finally going to the Orre Region?" Glaceon asked, "Yes, we are Glaceon." I answered, "Many things got in the way."

"But it was to help others." Carol said, holding my hand, "Yeah, but the ones that need help the most, are over the sea."
