Chapter 21- The Kazekage's Plan! The Back-Up Arrives!
Nobuki shifted under the compactness of the sand. Nobuki shook as he woke up from his unconsciousness. Nobuki automatically remembered his dream and then he instantly wondered what was happening on the upper level. He wondered if the sand stopped at all. All Nobuki knew he had to get out of the sand quickly. Nobuki struggled against the sand and he made the first hand sign: Ox. Then the second: Bird. Then the rest followed and Nobuki moved his hand together and gathered his hands and his wind chakra.
"Wind Style: Air Bomb Jutsu," Nobuki whispered barely managing to speak. The air detonated and he felt freedom as the sand around him receded exponentially. Nobuki managed to stand and the sand came back down, but was met with a bigger wind jutsu with Nobuki clasping his hands together.
"Wind Style: Divine Air Expansion Jutsu!" Nobuki yelled as wind left his body and spread the sand apart and Nobuki jumped up and saw that Kohaku and the Raikage were interrupted from fighting the Kazekage while Haruko and Kishi were looking for Nobuki. Nobuki had all attention gathered on him as he flew up and Nobuki decided he used his old go to jutsu.
"Lightning Style: Multiple Lightning Tiger Barrage Jutsu!" Nobuki yelled as several tigers of lightning left his hand. The sand came back together and Nobuki landed on it as the Kazekage raised a wall of sand quickly destroyed by his tigers as he was electrocuted. Kohaku yelled in excitement as Nobuki landed. The Kazekage turned into sand and Nobuki groaned.
The Kazekage appeared right were his clone dissipated. The Raikage walked forward on the sand cracking his knuckles as if he wasn't finished. Kohaku rallied the troops as they were on every side of the valley of sand for back-up if anybody needed it. Nobuki stepped forward starting a Lightning Cloak and then he added all his chakra to it including the chakra in his chakra jacket. Nobuki started to hunch over and he was standing on his hands and feet.
"Nobuki calm down," the Raikage said.
"Why? He's come in the Cloud and almost killed a citizen looking for a Jinchuuriki. I'm going to kill him," Nobuki growled.
"You dare to speak your Raikage like that! You must have forgotten the powers I possess," the Raikage said.
"Lord Raikage, the Kazekage needs to go down for real. I'm just going to use my new jutsu and kill him," Nobuki said.
"Are you afraid that the sand is going to be too much for you weak Cloud ninja?" the Kazekage teased. That seemed to be the boiling point for the Raikage and he ran forward.
"Forget talking! I'm going to pummel your face!" the Raikage yelled. Nobuki ran forward on his fours and he managed to catch up to the Raikage. Nobuki ran faster and faster until they were almost at the Kazekage. Nobuki jumped up while the Raikage took the Kazekage's legs and Nobuki punched the Kazekage with full power in the face.
"Nobuki he's behind you!" Kishi yelled. Nobuki quickly turned landing on his fours as the Kazekage kicked him in the face. Nobuki flew back grasping the sand. Nobuki took that momentum from the hit to run around and hurl himself back at the Kazekage. Nobuki ran faster than he ever had and finally he managed to reach the Kazekage and Nobuki punched the Kazekage in the gut. The Kazekage turned into sand and Nobuki realized the Kazekage was everywhere with everyone fighting him.
"Man Beast Transformation Jutsu!" Kishi yelled as Mishikana turned into Kishi and they fought together. Nobuki looked at Haruko who was in hand to hand combat. Kohaku was making a Rasengan hurling it at the Kazekage out of his Nine Tails Chakra Mode. Nobuki wondered who the Kazekage was.
"Stop!" Nobuki yelled out of his Lightning Cloak. Everyone halted at the sound of Nobuki's voice.
"Kazekage I think if you're in my village and trying to kill my people you should at least tell us why you're going after the Tailed Beasts?!" Nobuki yelled. Everyone nodded in agreement. All the clones rushed back into the sand as Nobuki thought the Kazekage wasn't in the valley. Nobuki saw the real Kazekage jump in the sand from somewhere.
"That's fair. I'm planning to destroy. When I say destroy I don't mean the ninja world or the Hidden villages. I mean the weak that can't fend for themselves. Then we ninjas don't have to save them every time something happens to them. This may seem trivial, but afterwards the ninja will fight the Fifth Shinobi World War and the victor shall take all power over every ninja country," the Kazekage explained. Nobuki grinned at the Kazekage. He thought this was quite a stupid man. He must have worked to long in the office or something.
"You're crazy old man!" a ninja yelled.
"Crazy? Well, I guess killing you all will make me even crazier!" the Kazekage yelled.
Nobuki knew the Kazekage had to be losing it now. The Kazekage willed a giant amount of sand to a giant sand beast. The beast looked as if it was the Shukaku, but much less vicious. Nobuki shook his head as the Kazekage forgot that earth is weak against lightning. He just attacked a village full of lightning style users and now is fighting them with an earth type jutsu. Kohaku made a Rasengan and ran up to the beast quickly finishing it.
"Sand ninja come out from hiding," the Kazekage said turning his back on the Cloud. Just as he said that Nobuki was grabbed from behind and restricted by something or someone. Nobuki realized it was a sand ninja and knew that the Kazekage must be doing something big.
"Keep them here while I go get my Four-Tails Jinchuuriki," the Kazekage said. He disappeared in the wind transforming into sand. Nobuki growled and waited for someone to break lose. Kohaku was the first in Nine-Tails Chakra Mode with his chakra arms. Nobuki watched as Kohaku nearly took out everyone's restrictor. Nobuki took this opportunity to break free himself. He shocked the woman holding him with his lightning chakra
"The Kazekage really thought he could keep us back?" Kohaku asked jokingly appearing next to Nobuki.
"Is it just me or did he seem like he was losing it?" Nobuki asked.
"No, my Nine-Tails said that it was just a part of a game. He wants us to believe he's insane, so we can underestimate him," Kohaku explained. Nobuki nodded understanding the sense in that. The Raikage roared out loud and he ran out of the valley causing Nobuki and his team from the Leaf to follow him.
"Stay here and make sure that they don't join the Kazekage later," Nobuki ordered running off. Nobuki ran and ran as he found a trail of the Raikage's Lightning Cloak. Nobuki didn't even know where the Kazekage went. Nobuki ran to follow the Raikage who was hit by a column of sand. The Kazekage did it holding Old Man Kenji in his arms unconscious.
"Let him go!" Nobuki yelled at the Kazekage who was perched on a sand column.
"He belongs to the Sand. I'll take him off your hands," the Kazekage said.
"I'll get Kenji while you do your Lightning Slicer," Kohaku whispered. Nobuki nodded while Haruko and Kishi instantly knew what to do. This was an old Academy plan for a team of four. Two ninja would distract the enemy with a hostage while one went in to save them. The last ninja would eliminate the enemy. Kishi and Mishi made a man beast transformation.
"Fang Over Fang!" Kishi yelled as the two cutting torpedoes sped off. They purposely missed the Kazekage and landed roughly acting as if they were hurt by the impact. Kohaku disappeared using his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode speed as Haruko jumped in the air coming at the Kazekage. Nobuki started to make his Rasengan and started add his chakra nature to it. Kohaku stole Old Man Kenji and replaced him with a bag of flour, but the Kazekage noticed. He had to pay attention to Haruko.
Nobuki's Lightning Slicer was ready and he started to run as Haruko was pushed aside with a bunch of sand. Kohaku had Old Man Kenji back where they used to stand. The Kazekage finally noticed Nobuki as he jumped up flying at him with his Rasen-Lightning Slicer pointed at the Kazekage. Nobuki was close enough and finally the Rasengan touched the Kazekage.
"Lightning Style: Rasen-Lightning Slicer!" Nobuki yelled as his Rasengan shocked the Kazekage. Lightning came out of the Kazekage's mouth and then the Kazekage started to fade. Nobuki noticed he was another sand clone. Old Man Kenji turned it sand too and Nobuki yelled in anger. His godfather was now in the clutches of the Kazekage.
Sand troops now surrounded them and Nobuki wondered how vast the Sand's army is. Nobuki felt outnumbered and then a miracle happened. Running and yelling filled the air as rapid footsteps were being made. Nobuki couldn't see as he was now on the ground and buildings were in his way of sight. Nobuki thought it was his Cloud friends, but as they sounds and yells drew closer it revealed a totally different outcome.
