Eren was actually beginning to form feelings for an archangel who would probably die if he ever reciprocated those feelings. The demon looked at the angel he was currently snuggled into, he had tried to escape the situation several times but the archangel had a grip like Mikasa's and he was pulled closer every time he almost managed to get away. He sighed as he looked at Levi's serene like sleeping face and found butterflies fluttering around like crazy in his stomach, there was no hope for him, none. The person he had feelings for was not only male but an angel as well. Mikasa always told him he had bad taste but this really was the icing on top of the cake.

"Levi…-heichou," he added with caution as he poked the man's face, "It's time to wake up, I think." Truthfully he just wanted to be out of the older man's arms, maybe find his sibling somehow. The older man stirred and blinked slowly, his eyes furrowed and quite frankly glaring at the source of the noise which just so happened to be Eren. Levi looked confused at their proximity before he smoothly sat up and stretched his arms out above head. Eren frowned, noticing the all too vivid feeling of that warm body's absence.

Eren noticed a singular snowy white feather that almost seemed to be glowing in the dimly lit room. He absentmindedly picked it up and brought it close to his face to see if perhaps it was really glowing. Eren ran a finger down the ultra-soft length before it instantly turned black from his demonic aura. He gasped softly, as he looked at the now dull black feather. Such a thing would never happen if he ever accidently touched one of Levi's wings but a singular feather not attached to the angels body would be susceptible to the demonic energy which any demon naturally emitted from their bodies. Eren held the now black feather in his fingers, biting his lip in anger at himself. He hadn't meant to taint something he had only picked up because it was breathtakingly beautiful.

Something clicked in his mind; wouldn't an angel be weakened after a prolonged amount of exposure to demonic aura? He looked at Levi who was getting dressed and tried to see if there were any signs of damage on the heavenly being. Levi looked up once he noticed Eren's gaze, being a trained fighter for years allowed him to easily sense things better than your average angel/demon. Eren blushed at being caught and smiled sheepishly as he held up the black feather for Levi to easily view.

"Uh, I was just wondering if you were hurt or not." Levi frowned as he noticed the tarnished feather in the demon's hand before scoffing, "You're a hundred years too young to even think about damaging me with your pathetic aura, brat. I believe I should be the one to ask that question. Are you suddenly feeling more, I don't know, human, heavenly?" Eren shrugged, "I don't think so."

Levi nodded, "Then that solves that problem." He finished tying his cravat before walking over to the brunette and messing up the soft locks on his head, "There's no way you could ever hurt me, so don't worry." Levi smiled at him before lightly tapping the feather in the tan hands, reverting it back to its originally heavenly, pure white color. Eren grinned at him, showing all of his teeth. It was that stupid face that sent his heart racing a thousand miles a minute. He leaned back as a familiar broad shouldered blond stepped into the room, not bothering to knock. Levi's face returned to the usual ever present scowl, "Don't you even bother to knock?"

Erwin smiled, "Sorry, am I interrupting?" Eren blushed and raised his hands defensively and struggled not to salute the angel, "Not at all, sir! We were just talking, sir!" Erwin nodded, "I wish we had more polite youngsters like you nowadays. A shame you are a demon, otherwise you would be the perfect cadet." Levi crossed his arms, "You talk as if we're ancient fossils. You may be, but I'm a good ten thousand years younger. I'm only 3460 years old," Levi stated as a matter of factly. Erwin nodded and turned to Eren and out of curiosity, "How old are you, demon?" Levi's eye twitched, "He has a name," he muttered. Erwin smiled, "Pardon me, Eren."

Eren looked at the floor, "150," he said quietly. Erwin stifled a chuckled, returning back to his serious attitude. Levi tensed at the information and tensed, he knew the demon was young but now he felt like a cradle robber. He frowned at the smug look on Erwin's face, "Stupid brat." Erwin motioned for Levi to follow and walked out of the room. Levi sighed, "Wait here, I'll be back."

He regretted leaving the demon alone, but he had a duty as a soldier to follow orders and though he loathes to admit, technically Erwin was a higher position than him. The only others higher up were God's personal henchmen and they only ever appeared when something terrible happened. Levi quickly caught up with to the tall blond, "What is it that you felt the need to discuss with me?"

"Want to tell me why you didn't slay them all? Maybe we really will need to negotiate."

"Cut the shit, Erwin. If you want me to kill them, then I will. Just get me a camp and I'll move out." Erwin shrugged, "It doesn't matter now, and you at least managed to kill the important one, aka the enemy commander's nephew." Levi frowned, "What is the real reason you called me out?"

"I simply wanted to warn my friend that the enemy will attack to retrieve the vampire. She has powerful connections and even if she betrayed them to search for her brother, they are most definitely planning something. I don't know how far her power extends or if she can communicate with the demons from her position or not and if this was their plan all along. Not knowing things is not a habit of mine, so I sent Hanji to examine her."

Levi's eyes narrowed and he glared at the blond, "For your sake I hope it only goes as far as an examination. If you harm the vampire you will not only risk her life but Armin's as well. He is the only reason she has not been able to escape with Eren. I've personally seen what that bloodsucker can do and I have no doubt that she could easily take care of many of our own."

Erwin nodded grimly and turned to look at his friend, "I'm sure the demon is up to something. I suggest you break whatever bond you have with your pet before something happens and you get hurt." Levi remained silent, clenching his hands into fists at his sides so hard they turned white. It didn't matter whether or not they were bonded they would still take Eren away. He would have to study on possibilities on how to break the bond.

Levi found himself not even wanting to think about such a thing happening. He'd been loyal to them for several millennia and they were about to take his spoils of war away from him. Levi sighed and snaked a hand through his hair in irritation, wanting nothing more to hit something to relieve stress. They all knew what Eren was to him and it was painstakingly obvious that they weren't meant to be together.

Erwin left Levi to sulk and go command the cadets on something. He rolled his eyes but at least he was alone to think. Levi leaned against the stone wall, a frown on his face. First things first he was going to have to have a talk with the vampire. He was definitely not looking forward to that.
