Battle of London Part 6
The Tanks and the Warthogs made short work of the Wraiths and Prowlers and soon returned to the bridge. Colonel Heath-118 was still heading towards the incoming Covenant vehicles and the two Grizzlies and two Scorpions that were following behind him had been dealing with any Covenant the Colonel had missed. A Wraith fired on the tanks but missed every shot, so the Colonel turned the main cannon towards the Wraith and fired. A single round silencing the rival tank. A dozen Grunts with ten Brutes minors came out of hiding and began firing on the tanks. Return fire from the tanks eliminating half of the attacking infantry. A Grunt fired a fully charged plasma pistol at one of the Scorpions, temporarily disabling the tank before machine gun fire cut the Unggoy down. The eight remaining Brutes climbed onto the tank, killing the machine gunner before trying to get to the driver.
"Help, help, I have Brutes on top of the tank. Oh God, they're trying to get through the hatch! I locked it, but they are breaking through, I need assistance!" The frantic voice of the driver came overt the comms.
"Hold on trooper help is on the way," the Colonel replied before he sprayed the Brute covered tank with his machine gun, killed two of the Brutes. The Colonel then jumped out of his tank and headed towards the Scorpion. He drew his Magnum and used the 2x zoom to begin firing at the Brutes on the tank, aiming for their heads. Two more Brutes were killed before they knew what was happening. The four remaining Brutes turned to see the Demon heading right towards them. The Brutes jumped down from the tank and charged at Heath. He threw a plasma grenade at one of the Brutes and stuck the Brute right on the forehead causing they rest of the Brutes to move out of the way as the grenade detonated, taking the Brute's head with it. Heath then unslung his assault rifle and began firing at the Brutes. One Brute falls and was soon followed but another. The single remaining Brute took cover so the Colonel stopped firing, depressing the mag release switch and the empty magazine fell out and then he slapped a fresh magazine in and waited for the Brute to make its next move. As he waited April told him that the surviving tanks were dealing with a couple of Banshees and Ghost and would be their shortly, so Heath radioed the soldier in the tank.
"Trooper, I need you to deal with the Brute hiding behind those vehicles! Pull yourself together trooper and show these Covenant SONS OF BITCHES what the UNSC Army is made of!" He heard the tank fire its 90mm High-Velocity Cannon and the Brute behind the vehicle taking pot shots at Spartan-118 ceased to exist. Heath then hurried back to his own tank and just before head reached his tank a Banshee swooped in and fired its Fuel Rod Cannon inches in front of the Spartan, blowing him backward. The Colonel's shield absorbed the blast and got taken down to around 95% charge, but by the time he gets back on his feet his shields were fully charged again. The Banshee came around for another pass but the Scorpion from earlier returned the favor and blasted it out of the sky. Heath threw him a fast salute before climbing back into the tank and sealing the hatch. April started looking at the schematics of the Colonel's new armor, wondering how the Colonel was still alive and how the shields hadn't even been depleted once since he had been issued the armor. Apparently, Dr. Halsey had designed the suit for almost every possible situation that the Colonel could get himself into.
"April, I need a SITREP on the Covenant forces." Heath called out to April, causing her to stop going over Dr. Halsey's files on the new MOLJONIR Armor. Heath then tried to radio the other tanks but no response except from the tank he had just saved.
"Colonel, I'm picking up multiple contacts heading this way from London," April said.
"April, see if you can try and raise one of the other tanks."
"I'll try Colonel," she said. She tried raising the other tanks but also got no answer. Uses one of the satellites overhead to find out what happen she showed the Colonel what had happened. The tanks had been destroyed by a pair of Hunters and some new Covenant species, what the Covenant Battlenet was calling a Titian.
"Colonel, I only have a few rounds left for my main gun." The other tank told Heath.
"Roger that. Trooper, load them up and get ready, we got some Covenant to kill," the Colonel said. "Chief, where are you?" The Hunters and the Titians continued to come towards the two surviving tanks.
"We're on our way. ETA is 5 minutes unless we run into any problems mopping up the surviving Covvies below the bridge. Major Rhodes and the other units have already taken care of the Covvies around the APCs and the Wolverines. They are on their way to your position now Colonel." Master Chief-117 said, already informed about the Colonel's situation by April. Colonel Heath-118 told the Army soldier to use machine guns first and save the 90mm shells as a last resort. The Hunters attacked the Rex tank while the Titians headed for the Scorpion. It didn't take long for the Colonel in the Rex Tank to deal with the Hunters, but the Scorpion wasn't so lucky as the machine guns were having no effect on the Titians.
"Marine, use the cannon! That hide is too tough for small-arms fire!" Heath yelled over the radio just as the Titians fired their heavy cannons, vaporizing the Scorpion. "You Mother Fuckers!" The Colonel yelled as he fired his cannon at the first Titian, blowing its head clean off its shoulders. The second, third, and fourth Titians fired their cannons at the Colonels Rex Tank, but the Rex's armor and shields held. The Colonel fired again, blowing a huge hole into a Titians' midsection. The remaining two fired but the Colonel moved the tank out of the path of their shots. The two remaining Titians were pushed near the edge of the bridge and underneath was another paved road. The Colonel fired again but the shot fell short of the third Titian, but the blast launched it over the side of the bridge. The Colonel decided to ram the final Titian as he had run out of ammo for the cannon. The tank hit the Titian, and both plunged off the side of the bridge and onto the Titian below who had just recovered from the fall. The Master Chief and the others arrived just as the Rex Tank was going over the side and rushed to the edge of the bridge to see it fall to the ground, crushing the two titans beneath it. Inside of the tank Heath looked around to make sure everybody was okay and saw that the two Marines inside were both unconscious.
"April, what was the status of the Covenant coming from London?" Heath asked her as he unstrapped himself from his seat and got the two Marines out of their seats as well.
"Two Phantoms, two Sprits, and some sort of new Covenant vehicle are on their way. According to the Covenant Battlenet it was known as the Type-32 Apparition Heavy Drop ship. The details of the ship were as following. It was designed for airlifting several of the largest Covenant vehicles, the Apparition was used to mass deploy infantry and armor, even in a contested war zone. The cockpit, equipped with one Particle Cannon, is at the very front, and behind that extends the massive vehicle carrying area. In shape, the carrying area is like a Phantom but it is many times larger and is heavy armored, built to resist high velocity munitions. This large area can carry dozens of small vehicles light Ghost, but its big enough and strong enough that it can lift a Type-46 Scarab if required. They only form of protection against enemies are five particle cannon turrets, two mounted towards the rear, one either side, two on the top side and one towards the front in the center, and four smaller heavy plasma cannons, mostly forwarding of close air threats. As well as providing heavy transport, the Apparition can provide close range fire support, being capable of decimating ground forces beneath it. The Apparition is equipped with advance countermeasure systems, ECM and a powerful central gravity lift, capable of dropping forces down with ease. It can also land directly and drop its loading ramp to allow vehicles to leave that way. While vulnerable to a concentrated air attack, it carries heavy shielding and armor to protect it." She explained.
"Do you think they are bringing in a Scarab?" Heath asked.
"It's possible," April replied.
"Fuck, we need to figure a way to deal with the Scarab if they end up dropping one." Heath paused for a second and it was like something clicked in the back of his head. He radioed John on his private comms, "Chief, I need you to planet demolition charges underneath the bridge and get ready for a heavy Covenant attack." The Colonel gave the two Marines inside a wake-up stem and he blew the bottom hatch since they were upside down. He helped the Marines out of the tank and told them to find the subway maintenance shaft and secure it for a fallback position.
"April, how far were the Covenant?" He asked as he got out of the tank.
"ETA 3 minutes Colonel," She said. The Colonel went back onto the bridge, using a civilian car to reach the Chief. John and Heath divide everyone up to get the demolition charges set and prepare a warm reception for the Covenant. Two of the APCs were armed with Mini MAC's for dealing with larger targets like Phantoms and Sprits. The Marines and Army soldiers inside of the APC's were ordered to head to the subway maintenance shaft that leads into the subway tunnels beneath them. Only a dozen would remain behind to take part as loaders for the vehicles mini MAC's. Heath didn't want any UNSC vehicles on the section of the bridge that the Scarab was going to walk across but he wanted them close enough to lure the Scarab and any other vehicles that came across the bridge. The tanks were position alongside the APC's along with the Warthogs.
The Master Chief ordered Daniel, Jun, and Lucy to protect the troopers at the maintenance shaft. Major Rhodes and Lieutenant Jack maned the guns on two of the Warthogs while the other ODST's and Special Forces maned the guns of the other surviving Warthogs, Scorpions, Grizzlies, and the guns on the APCs. The regular Marines and Army soldiers dropped down into the subway system, waiting for the rest to join them after engaging the Covvies. The demolition team had already set the charges and then joined those in the subway system. Two Phantoms were the first to appear and the Mini MAC's fired, blowing both Phantoms out of the sky. The Sprits and the new Covenant heavy drop ship decided to unload their cargo out of range of the mini MAC's. The Covenant heavy drop ship deployed a dozen Choppers and a Scarab. They soon were on their way to kill the humans.
The Heavy Drop ship was staying overhead to provide close air support. The Mini MAC's on the two APCs were still charging when the Apparition got within range and opened fire on them. One Warthog was destroyed, severely wounding the ODST on the chain gun. A medic rushed to the wounded Marine to get him inside one of the APCs but was cut down by plasma fire from the Apparition. The tanks fired on the Apparition but were having no affect due to the energy shields. One of the tanks was destroyed just as the Mini MAC's finished charging and fired at the drop ship. A dozen missiles from another APC hit the drop ship at the same time the MAC rounds hit the ship. The Apparition fell back, but its attack allowed the Choppers and Scarab to advance close to the UNSC forces unmolested.
April reported that additional Covenant ground vehicles were on their way. Once again, the Mini MAC's would need time to recharge. Sudden, Choppers appeared over the horizon along with a multitude of Ghosts. United Nations Space Command soldiers couldn't count how many vehicles were on the ridge but there had to be over a hundred. They charged at the UNSC ranks but the gunners were waiting for Heath's order to fire.
"Deploy the Mantis's," Heath ordered. A ramp drops out of the back of one of the APCs and two Mantises appeared and it was then that Heath gave the order to fire. The Choppers and Ghosts didn't have a chance. Some managed to fire their twin plasma cannons and thirty-millimeter auto cannons but only damaged the vehicles, the gunners still returned fire. The Mantis's also were inflected casualties on the Covenant. A couple of ODST's were running ammo to the Warthogs and the tanks, doing their best to avoid the incoming fire. Tom fired his turret at an incoming Chopper, blowing it to pieces. The destroyed Choppers and Ghosts had created a barricade where the Covenant vehicles couldn't fire on the UNSC and the UNSC couldn't fire back except against the Covenant further up the hill.
There were so many Covenant vehicles destroyed in their retreat it made it next to impossible for vehicles to move in that killing field. Two of the new heavy drop ships appeared and once again started to rain down fire on the UNSC. Tom took cover just as Major Rhodes and Lieutenant Jack also took cover from the drop ships. Five Marines and six Army Soldiers were cut down from the drop ships weapons before they could find cover. The APC's opened up at the drop ships but they didn't cause any damage to the ships. The APC's were destroyed when two Scarabs just appeared over the ridge and the Colonel was shocked to see the two Scarabs. The tanks then opened fire on the Scarabs but were having very little effect on them.
A tank was destroyed, and Heath had to jump out of his Grizzly tank just before the tank was destroyed. United Nations Space Command forces scrambled to take cover behind anything they can find. A couple of rockets hit the Scarabs sides, killing the Grunts manning the side guns and blowing them off. The Scarabs advanced onto the section of the bridge that was wired to blow and so Heath blew that section of bridge, send the two Scarabs to their destruction.
Suddenly a Plasma bolt hits an ODST in the back and so Tom shot the Grunt in the head. Everybody turned to look behind them and face the new threat of the Covenant infantry coming towards them. Heath ordered the ODST's and Army Special Forces to repel down and join with the soldiers in the subway tunnels. The Chief fired his MA5B at attacking Grunts, reloading when the counter reached zero. Tossing in a fresh clip just before a Brute Minor appears on top of a car. The Brute, who was in power armor, fired its Brute shot at the Master Chief just as the Chief opened fire, the Brute shot dropping some, but not all, of the Chiefs shield.
The Chief blew away the Brute's power armor but ran out of ammo just before he could finish the Brute off, but Heath came up behind the Brute and assassinated him. They nodded to each other as the Chief ejected his spent mag and reloaded a new one. Tom picked up a Rocket Launcher and fired it at a column of Jackals that was moving towards them. It killed so many that it caused them to scatter. A Banshee flew over and fired its Fuel Rod Cannon, blowing Tom into a windshield. Heath ran over to his aide, killing several Grunts and Jackals that got in his way. He switched over to the grenade launcher underneath his MA5D, blowing a group of Grunts in several different directions.
Reloading the grenade launcher, Heath shouted Tom's name several times. Tom blinked several times inside of his helmet and looked over to see the Colonel shouting at him; Tom got up, a little shaken but not worse for wear. The Banshee came in for another pass but was blown out of the sky by Major Rhodes who was holding a Spartan Laser. The remaining Mantis was firing on the Phantoms, providing cover fire for the infantry as the other Mantis had already been taken out of the fight. The heavy drop ships were nowhere to be seen but a Lich was on its way. The Lich hovered above where the APC's were destroyed and started sending troops down via a gravity lift.
Two Titians were dropped along with dozens of a new species which looked like Elite with some Brute characteristics thrown in. The final remaining Mantis destroyed one of the Titian's before the other Titian destroyed it. Major Rhodes fired his last shot with the Spartan Laser at a Titian, killing it. He then went on to kill several Grunts with headshots from his DMR and a few Jackals after he shot them in the weak points in their shields and then in the head. The fighting stopped for a minute when the new species appeared. An Army Special Forces soldier was impaled by one of the new creatures' energy sword. Major Rhodes opened fire with his DMR, but the new creature's energy shield simply absorbed the fire.
"Holy fuck!" An Army ODST said has he fired what was left in his MA37 at the same creature, but nothing happens. The Grunts, Jackals and Brutes haven't moved since the Jirheili arrived. The Jirheili advanced towards the humans and one of them impaled two Marines. John fired at that one, emptying two magazines into the Jirheili until he saw the creature's shields fail but since he had just finished the second magazine he drew his sidearm and put a round into the creature's skull. Heath has already killed another one in very similar fashion and as he was reloading had to dodge an energy sword aimed at his head. After dodging the blade, he drew his own and parried the next slash. Unlike the Sangheili, these creatures were not skilled with a blade at all which allowed Heath to cut off both Jirheili's arms and then stabbed it in the head in short order. An ODST headed to one of the repel lines but was cut down by a Jirheili armed with a Spiker. Another Jirheili fired a new weapon at Heath, dropping the Colonel's shields down.
"What hell was that? It dropped my shields down by a half." The Colonel shouted as the Jirheili fired again and fully depleted the Colonel's shields. Heath grabbed some cover and gave his shields time to recharge and him time to reload his assault rifle. The Colonel wondered why the other Covenant species hadn't entered the fight, not even the Titians had joined in. A Spartan Laser was fired at the Jirheili, incinerating its body, and causing it to drop its weapon only a few feet in front of Heath. He ran to the weapon and grabbed it just as another Jirheili came at him, but he fired the new Covenant weapon at the Jirheili's face. The round hit the Jirheili's shields and it dropped them like a rock while his HUD identified the weapon as a Type-100 Carbine. He ordered the rest of his men that were still alive to repel down and join those in the subway tunnel as more Jirheili arrived and were closing a circle around the Master Chief and the Colonel.
"Chief do you trust me?" Heath asked him, and the Chief nodded. "UNSC Brave New World we need a missile strike on these coordinates I shall mark the target with a Target Designator." Heath designated the area they were in. "When I tell you Chief, jump." The Jirheili, Elites, Brutes, Grunts, and Jackals were all inching closer, even though the two Spartans were firing at them. "Jump now!" Heath shouted as they both jumped just before the missiles hit. Some of the missiles hit the Lich but didn't cause any damage to it. One of the bodies of the Jirheili was thrown in front of them due to the force of the explosion.
The Chief and the Colonel dragged the corpse to the maintenance entrance and as they sealed the door behind them they could hear the thudding sound of Spikes and Plasma bolts hitting the door. Major Rhodes helped the Chief drag the body down below while the Colonel laid down Proximity Mines that will only go off when something entered the trigger area. They examined the body of the dead creature but couldn't determine anything besides the obvious. Maybe UNSC scientists would be able too, but for now they will leave the body and recover it after the city was secure.
A few minutes before the new drop ships arrived at the bridge, Zodiac One, Two and Three were on their way to neutralize one of the Covenant triple-A batteries while Zodiac Four, Five and Six dealt with another. The rest of Zodiac team was staying with the soldiers from the ONI building who had relocated to a Police Precinct Station and meet up with the handful of Police Officers and civilians that were there. Zodiac One through Three saw their Tyrant near the bridge the Colonel and the rest of first wave of UNSC forces from Manchester went and they could hear the sounds of gunfire coming from it.
They had to watch out for Covenant patrols as they approach the Tyrant so not to give away they were there. Once close enough, Zodiac One threw a sensor closer to the gun so they could determine the locations of every Covenant soldier around the Tyrant. The sensor sweeps showed Jackal snipers on several rooftops nearby along with several Brutes with Beam Rifles. There was also a squadron of Ghost acting as a quick reaction force patrolling around the Tyrant. Zodiac Two was loading a 400-round belt into his SAW and a 100-round drum onto his AA-13 shotgun. Zodiac One loaded a fresh magazine into both his MA5D and his Battle Rifle. Zodiac One told his two fellow Spartans the numbers before looking them squire in the visor.
"Let's show these Mother Fuckers what a Spartan team can do!" The other two nodded. "Zodiac Three, you provide covering fire from that building." Zodiac Three nodded before heading into the building to prepare to provide covering fire. All three had heavy weapons and so Zodiac One opened with his M29, hitting a Ghost and destroying it. He fired every rocket he had for the M29 at anything he considers a threat. Zodiac Two fired at anything Zodiac One missed as did Zodiac Three, the Covenant didn't even stand a chance. Once the Covenant battalion was neutralized, Zodiac Three placed the demolition charges on the Tyrant and after they got to a safe distance, detonated the explosives.
They soon hear several more Tyrants get blasted into oblivion. They headed back to the Police Station to link back up with the others. The Covenant Patrols were on high alert since half of their anti-air cover was gone, so the Brutes were actively hunting down the Demons. They were lucky to make it back to the Police Station without engaging the Covenant, but the same could not be said for the other part of Zodiac.
"Four, what happened to Five?" Zodiac One asked as he noticed one of his men was missing.
"A new species of Covenant killed him with an updated version of the Needle Rifle. This creature was fast, and I'm talking really fast, faster than Skirmishers. They were leaping from wall to wall in the alleyway we were in. Brutes showed up and entered the battle along with some Grunts and our shields started dropping. We managed to kill a couple those new creatures, by having to try and guess where they were going to move too. Five fired our last remaining missile from the M29 at the Brutes making them find cover just before five of those creatures jumped on him. They scratch at his armor with no effect, but they overloaded his shields and then killed him with a super combine explosion," Zodiac Four answered.
"Interesting story Lieutenant, I believe every word of it," Zodiac-One said as Zodiac-two appeared.
"What is it Petty Officer?" Zodiac-One asked.
"There's a Covenant patrol heading in this direction."
"How many Covenants are there, Petty Officer?"
"A pack of Brutes leading some Grunts, two Hunters, and a pack of those new Covenant soldiers are heading in this direction."
"What do we do sir?" The Spartans asked Zodiac-one who didn't say anything for a few minutes.
"We let them pass unless we're discovered. Have everyone find some cover and still hidden. I want a sniper and a spotter on that rooftop watching."
"Sir Yes sir," the Spartans replied. Zodiac-six grabbed his sniper rifle and an army sniper to spot for him and headed to the rooftop. They could hear explosions in the distance coming from the train station that Major Tom Mason and his men were defending. Zodiac-One headed down to the basement where the Lieutenant from the Office of Naval Intelligence and a Police captain were listing to the reports coming in over a radio.
"What's going on Lieutenant?"
"The Army and Marine's attack has stalled! Their tanks are only a few miles into the city and they have stopped to let the infantry catch up. The Covenant resistance has died down cause most of their units are heading to attack the Parliament building and the UNSC Forces at the main train station. Additional Covenant forces are heading to defend the four remaining Anti-Aircraft batteries or falling back to defend the area around their ship. There are two UNSC ships waiting for those Tyrants to be neutralized before they can deal with that Covenant ship."
"What about the city's MAC guns on those Defense Towers?"
"They were powered down because one of the guns had a malfunction. We manage to fix the malfunction before we lost contact with the Central Defense Tower."
"I think it's time to get those towers back online."
"We tried sir, the Covenant are defending the CDT like their lives depend on it. Three platoons have tried to take it back, but they got cut to ribbons, half of them barely made it back. What makes you think you Spartans can take it back, sir?"
"Apparently you don't understand Spartans really well; you see we like high risk operations." Zodiac-One said with a smile on his face as he walked away. The Covenant patrol had left by the time he got back to the surface.
"We got lucky this time around," One of Sergeant Major Johnson's men said, and the others nodded in agreement.
"You better hope our luck holds out, because we are reengaging the Covenant in twenty minutes." Zodiac-one said. "Sergeant Major, you will take ten men and engage the Covenant at anti-aircraft battery number five located four blocks from the 3rd Defensive Tower. Lieutenant Custer, you will take a dozen men and help Major Mason hold the train station. Zodiac-Six, you will remain behind with three Marines and the Police Officers to keep the wounded safe along. The rest of us will hit the Central Defensive Tower and work to bring the rest online. Once we're done with that we should be able to target that ship." Zodiac-One told them.
"Good luck." The teams split up and headed for the vehicles they took from the ONI building and several vehicles they had stolen from the Covenant, including several Wraiths and a Locust. Sergeant Major Johnson and his men would use the Covenant vehicles to get as close as possible to the Tyrant before they are found out by the Covenant. Lieutenant Custer and his dozen men boarded the APC's, Warthogs, and a lone Rex tank and headed towards Major Mason's position while Zodiac-One and the rest of Zodiac Team, along with some Marines and Soldiers, headed to get the city's MAC guns online. They moved out on foot to minimize the risk of being detected by both Covenant air and ground patrols.
Along the way, Lieutenant Custer's voice came over the coms telling his gunners to open fire on certain positions and to watch out for the Banshees and Vampires in the air, apparently the Covenant were trying to keep them away from train station. He could hear the Lieutenant, Marines, and Soldiers cursing over the staccato sound of the gun firing in the background. Along the way they picked up a dozen ODST's that had infiltrated the city earlier, saving them from a pack of Jackals and Grunts. Taking a short break, he uses a small hologram projector to lay out the plan of attack to all the non-Spartans.
"The city has Defensive towers station at all corners of the city and a central tower that acts as a main hub in the middle and they can take out anything within a twenty miles radius of the city. These towers are down right now but once we get them back online we'll be able to blow the Covenant air support to hell. That is our objective, take the central tower and get those towers working. Let's go get it done." Zodiac-One explained before putting the projector back in a pouch and they continue onto the objective. About a block away from the Central Defense Tower Zodiac-One called a halt, so they could find out the enemies' strength. Using a small drone to look at the CDT, Zodiac-One could see Shade turrets guarding the entrance along with two Wraiths and several Choppers.
"The Covvies got armor and some turrets guarding the entrance. Once they get taken care of we go in." Four soldiers armed with M29 Rocket Launchers and two were carrying M41's started the party, scoring direct hits and killing on the Covenant armor and Shade turrets. The Covenant didn't have a clue of what was happening until most of them were lying dead on ground. They had to fight their way to the top of the tower where the central control hub was located. The Covenant weren't going to let the defensive tower go without a fight. A majority of the Marines and Soldiers were dead or wounded by time they reached the top of the tower, so Zodiac-One had those uninjured stay behind to take care of the wounded and hold the main entrance. This left only the Spartans left to assault the top floors.
As they advanced, several Phantoms landed on the pads outside and unloaded several Jirheili and Grunts to deal with the Spartans. The pads were located on the sixth floor which was where most of the Marine casualties occurred. Several of the ODST's and a few of the wounded Marines that couldn't be moved remained there to guard the pads, but the Jirheili didn't care as they came through the doors and running through the ODST's fire, energy swords ignited and ready to cut apart anything and everything that got in there way.
They didn't bother with the wounded Marines even though they were putting up a weak resistance; the Grunts would soon eliminate the wounded humans. A Jirheili major made a call towards the Grunts and they hurried up and followed it, leaving some of the Marines still alive. One of the wounded Marines radioed Zodiac-One to inform him that the Covenant had landed reinforcements and they were on their way to them. The Spartans continued to search the upper floors and soon found a room with technicians under guard by one Brute in power armor and a dozen Grunts.
"Save these technicians and get the Defense Towers online. Two, Three, and Four with me, let's go give those reinforcements something to think about." Zodiac-One explained to Zodiac team who all nodded in agreement as they made to move out.
