Heero: Turns death glare at pixie and points his gun at her

Chapter 18 Disguise Plan Gone Wrong

Kira set herself up ready to bolt to her hotel room even if that meant she would end up crashing into them if they were waiting on the other side so the moment the elevator doors opened she bolted. Luckily for her they were only just exiting the stair case on the other side of the hall furthest from her room Kira thanked her lucky stars that she had booked a room at the end of the hall. Kira got her room key at ready and swiped it as quickly as she could at first it wouldn't take so she had to do it again Kira in her head was saying come on, come on open you stupid thing it felt like it took eternity for the stupid red light to turn green and signal that it was unlocked and that she could open the door. So she opened it and raced in side right in the nick of time she slammed the door practically in their face and bolted it from the inside.

Sadly Kira knew that they would probably find another way to get in probably Heero would shoot the lock with his gun while Quatre or Wufei runs down to the desk to get a room key not wanting to destroy the hotel property even though they could afford to get it fixed no problem. Kira had to think quickly the only thing she could think to do would be to miss lead them and hope that they didn't have a soft spot for kittens. She ran to the closet and made a ladder really quickly out of the nearest chair leading to an air vent in top of it and took the cover off and made it look like she had crawled into the vent to get away from them. The next step was to change into her animagus form so that they would just think that she was her pet maybe they would just leave the room and continue to search for her in the lobby. Kira changed into her cat form and settled herself on the couch just in time for her hotel room to burst open she jumped up letting her cat instincts take over her for the time being so it would be believable. As she jumped up with her black fur standing on end she jumped onto the back of the couch and then the book shelf behind her and hide in the dark corner where it met the wall. She crouched there and watched as they dispersed into her rooms looking for her she hoped her luck held out if it didn't then well she was screwed and she'd make the best of the situation as she usually had to do when it all went south.

Kira's ears twitched and stood up as she heard them talking about how they had found the evidence that she had set up to mislead them and hope they took it she watched as they all went to the living room. Heero sent Wufei and duo down to the ground floor to try and catch her as she exited the building or through the vent while him, Trowa, and Quatre stayed to look around a bit more. Before Duo left he told Heero to do something and Kira had a feeling that her luck had run out well she was lucky it had lasted this long anyway. She waited for what would happen and noticed that Quatre had gone towards her bedroom after a few words from Heero. Kira was so busy watching those two she didn't notice Trowa had noticed her and was staring at her until he had already reached the book shelf. She heard something rustle and she looks down and sees Trowa and goes with her cat instincts hisses at him and backs up further into the corner.

Trowa the gets a chair and stands on it but crouches down so that he's eye level with her. Kira looks straight back at him her cat instincts on overload it was a very bad idea to put herself in a corner right now she was a scoping for exits and she could only see one. And it was to somehow distract him and then jump over his head and she wasn't completely sure even that would work so in reality there were no escape paths. Kira would then just have to make her own like she usually did well she had help or at least she thought it was help when she looked back to her ex friends more traitors. She got ready she made it look like she was about to pounce but instead she went to jump over her head. Sadly, it didn't work out he caught her and she through the biggest hissy fit that she could and she finally got free and ran for it she headed straight for the bedroom so that she could hide under the bed. Her little kitty heart pounding for all it was worth as she was terrified that they would catch her though apparently she still got caught as arms swept her up. She looked up and found herself staring into a pair of mesmerizing blue eyes they looked light at the edges almost silver there and darker as they headed towards the pupils. Then there was the golden blond hair that slightly shadowed his eyes since his bangs curved in wards toward his forehead on either side.

Apparently he could tell that she was terrified but not of what he had misinterpreted it as he was whispering to me that there was nothing to be afraid of and that Trowa wouldn't hurt me. Kira almost gave him a deadpanned look she really wished that she could have told him that she wasn't afraid of them necessarily she was just afraid of being caught and for them. But that got her thinking she had looked around the room as she was calming down and noticed that they were packing up most of her stuff. So they must be planning to take everything of hers with them to their house while they looked for her so that means that also plan to take her with them. She started thinking about how that would work out but then she realized that it might be a good thing that she goes with them in her animagus form. They seem to like her as a cat and living as a cat for a while couldn't be too bad it would allow her to get to know them better. And no one except for Severus and Draco know what her animagus form is or that she even had one she had never told Hermione or Ron and now she thanked her stars that she hadn't or she wouldn't be getting the chance that she was getting now. Though getting over her cat instincts might cause some problems and she doesn't know how long you could stay as animagus before it started to affect you physical form there was no way she want to turn out like Wormtail.

Kira nods to herself let's do it she finally calmed down all the way in her cat form and let Quatre hand her off to Trowa at first she held herself stiff before she allowed herself to give into Trowas gentle petting. And she relaxed as he started to scratch her behind her ears she was in heaven it felt like she had entered a daze till she noticed that she was vibrating. But then she realized she wasn't vibrating she was purring if she was human you would have noticed the blush was currently displaying upon her face she thanked the gods for her fur right now. They soon finished packing up her stuff and left her hotel room Trowa carrying her all the way the boys soon met up with the rest of the group in the lobby. Duo and Wufei reported to Heero as they left that they hadn't been able to find Kira anywhere and the door man and the lobby desk hadn't seen her since she had raced in to the elevators with them after her. Heero said something about going to see Lady Une and setting up a search system to look for me all over Japan. Duo was having a fit about his little sister being lost and all alone in Japan at the age of 15 at least until Wufei hit him on his head with a closed fist. Duo then pouts as Wufei starts telling him to stop being childish like that would help Duo seemed to have gotten our mothers brain but it seemed more in tuned to what Dad was used to causing mischief. Kira had to restrain herself from laughing as she watched the two go at each other but soon they were in the car heading back to her brothers home. She soon fell asleep to the soothing driving of the car and the gentle petting from Trowa she felt a little cat nap was necessary.
