Jonouchi's POV
Okay so Yami and I were dueling against the Paradox brothers and things were going great for us. We were kicking ass and taking names until the brothers pulled an insane monster out. They summoned this divine being. "OH SHIT!" I yelped, Yami's eyes even grew large at the sight of this behemoth. "What in gods name is that thing!?" Yami asked. The Kyu Brother smirked. "This is our labyrinth god! Made up of water wind and thunder, it will spell your death! It is call the Gate Guardian! Nobody can defeat it's power and it's might!" Yami gave me a look. "We have to beat that thing…at all cost."
"I agree but how?"
"I'm not sure." It was Yami's turn and he set two cards face down. Then the Mei brother went in for the attack and that must have caught Yami off guard. I was thinking the same thing. That Gate Guardian could attack anywhere in the Labyrinth and they were targeting my ass. "You didn't learn your lesson the last time did you?" Yami spoke in a confident voice as he activated one of his face downs. "I activate Mirror Force to bounce that attack strait back at you!"
"Then my monster will use its ability to absorb that attack." Shit…I thought we had it but thanks to Yami I'm not dead. "Too bad I wasn't going for your Gate Guardian…Your monster tamer is dead!" that took a good chunk of their life points.
Jonouchi and Yami: 1600/1600
Paradox brothers: 1080/900
Okay as far as I could tell that Gate Guardian is still just three monsters so I decided to go on the offensive. "FLAME SWORDSMAN ATTACK WITH SALAMADRA FLAME ATTACK!" but then a huge wall of water came up and blocked my attack. "NO!" then they attacked using a water attack. Yami's Dark Magician was safe in the hats but I was screwed and my monster was beaten.
Jonouchi and Yami: 1300/1600
Paradox brothers: 1080/900
"Aw f**k Yami…I'm sorry I thought that he couldn't attack. Now I have to start all over from the beginning of the maze."
"No don't be sorry Jonouchi…Your monsters death was not wasted now I summon Summon Skull to the field." The brothers laughed. "You can't attack from the beginning of the maze."
"Oh yea? Your monster left a nice path of water to use. I ATTACK WITH LIGHTNING STRIKE!"
"Then I will just absorb that atta…."
"You can't remember how your water attack went over the top hats? You activated spell binding circle which stops your special ability." Yami was able to attack his water monster. I cheered. "HELL YEA YOU GO YAMI!"
Jonouchi and Yami: 1300/1600
Paradox Brothers: 780/900
"Thanks Jonouchi." Then the Kyu brother glared at me. "I activate De-spell to get rid of the pentagram on my monster." Yami looked over and smirked. "You know…I think we'll need the second piece of our victory about now." I smirked. "Way ahead of you Yami. I summon Red Eyes Black Dragon!"
"And now I activate Polymerization and combine Red eyes with Summon Skull to become Red eyes Skull Dragon!" the brothers started to laugh. "Have you forgotten? Dragons can't get through the maze." Oh shit! "Uh…Yami…we do have a plan right? I mean…if we can't get through."
"Jonouchi…there are other ways to get to the other sides. Trust me on this." Then the Mei brother activated a spell card. "I activate Ryoku this will take some of your life points and give them to me."
"SHIT!"
Jonouchi and Yami:650/600
Paradox Brothers: 780/900
Yami drew and closed his eyes in thought. "I move my Dark Magician to the exit of the Maze. Then I activate Monster reborn." The monster attacked Yami's Dark Magician. "That won't work. Water god water wall!" a wall of water came up and blocked the attack. "That was a smooth move Yami."
"Thanks Jonouchi." I drew and got the card Copy Cat, that gave me a good idea. "You know…I think that Ryoku card will help us out a lot. I use Copy Cat to copy your spell card and take your life points and add then to Red eyes skull dragon."
Jonouchi and Yami: 650/600
Paradox Brothers: 450/390
"Damn you bastards." The Mei brother snarled at us. Yami smirked. "Good Job Jonouchi." Then the Kyu brother smirked. "I will attack and kill your Dark magician! You Lose!" then Yami grinned. "You won't kill me. I activate the spell card Switch to switch Dark magician with Red eyes Skull Dragon." Yami attacked that Gate Guardian and defeated the Brothers. "YEA!"
Jonouchi and Yami: 650/600
Paradox Brothers: 0/0
Then I just realized something great. We both had ten star chips now.
Yami's POV
I smiled, we finally had ten star chips and now we could get to Pegasus's castle, there was just one thing in the way. The doors and that riddle the Paradox brothers gave us. "You two still need to give use which door you will pick."
"Okay…" I closed my eyes and thought. The question Jonouchi asked earlier made it seem that the Mei door was wrong but I feel that it was a trick to confuse us but I feel that there is another way. "Well well well…you look suspicious. Maybe you think there is another door here. Look around if you want." Everyone started to look around but I stayed where I was and looked strait at the brothers. "Aren't you going to look around."
"No… I have a good view of where the door really is."
Ryo Bakura POV's
As we looked around. I started to hear a voice. "Let me help out…I know where the real door is."
"Oh no…not you again! Leave me be Dark spirit!"
"I see…you are afraid of me…don't worry I have turn a new leaf…a thief like me would know how to get out of here…just put the ring on and let me help…or else your precious friends will be trapped in the maze forever."
Yami's POV
"TIMES UP NOW CHOSE A DOOR YUGI!" I saw Kisimra walk up behind me and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Yami…do you know?" I took out the two coins I had and showed then to the brothers. They started to laugh. "Yugi…are you really going to decide with a coin flip?"
"You'll see. I'll place them on the table and which ever coin is left in my hand will be the door I choose." I moved my right hand. "Ah…so you choose the Mei door…too bad the right door was the Kyu door." I knew it. "What!" everyone gasped. "You can't leave you are stuck here forever!"
"I knew you would do this…there was no right answer."
"What?"
"Your expressions gave it away. You were smug and confident that I would choose wrong but in truth there was no right answer. You waited until I've made a decided to say that I am wrong. I'll admit that's clever." The brothers looked shocked as I said this. "It doesn't matter…You still can't leave."
"Oh really? I think I can…look closely at the coin left in my hand." I revealed that the coin in my left hand. "The door I actually chose was Kyu. One coin only had the Kyu symbol and the other coin, the coin that I have revealed contains both Kyu and Mei symbols on it. So I chose the Kyu door." The brothers looked absolutely defeated. Everybody was excited for the victory. "Yami you did you! You and Jonouchi both did it! That was just amazing." Kisimra gave me a hug and did something completely unexpected. In all the excitement I felt her lips crash into mine and I pulled her close to me. "Oh…Yami you dog!" Jonouchi and Honda teased. I quickly pulled away from our kiss and turned a bright red. "I…I…I …HEY I'M NOT A DOG!" Jonouchi smirked as he ruffled my hair. "Na….I know it was from all the excitement." I groaned as I looked at Kisimra, who was still in my arms. "S…Sorry…That was really uncalled for…I shouldn't have gone and kissed you like that it was very well…" I just shook my head and gave her a gentle kiss on the lips. "It's okay…I…I kind of liked it, Not in a perverted way but…it…it felt really nice." Kisimra smirked. "Well…You weren't too bad in the kissing department…for a ghost."
"Hey…" we laughed as we got out of the maze and headed towards Pegasus's caslte.
