Kooksandwally4eva: If I had all the bionics, I probably would kill Krane for 1. He is disgustingly evil and I hate evil people 2. Killing him would be the only way for me to stay alive and 3. And now…..here's chapter 21!

Adam's pov:

I get a bionic message from Chase.

"Hey guys" I shout, "Chase sent me a message saying that Davenport and Douglas are on their way."

"That's good." Leo replied. Bree nods. She then crouches closer to me.

"You sure you're ok?" She asks me softly.

"I'm fine Bree" I answer, "My head just hurts a little. I'll have Davenport take a look at it when we -" We then hear Charlie laugh from the speakers.

"You actually think your father's going to come and rescue you?"

"What's so funny about that?" Bree snapped, "He will come for us and get us out of here!" Charlie's voice became more serious.

"You're meaning to tell me, that your dad would come and rescue you even if he knew that Krane and I are here?"

"Uhh….yeah" I reply.

"But Krane and I have tons of bionics and he doesn't have any…."

"It doesn't matter" Leo tells him, "Big D is always there for us when we need him. Even if it's going to risk his life. He loves us. That's what dad's are for."

"Wouldn't your dad do the same for you?" I ask.

"I'm not sure. My dad is in jail remember? I never got to spend time with my dad as a kid…." There was a pause of silence.

"Look" Bree says, "I know you never got to spend time with your father, but you can't blame him being in jail on our father."

"Any why not? If he wouldn't have put my dad in jail, he would've been able to spend more time with me!"

"But what your father was doing was wrong" Leo told him, "And he deserved to go to jail. Why don't you understand that? Big D didn't do anything to him. Your dad brought that on himself." Charlie didn't say anything.

"And Krane's just using you!" Bree cried, "He only wants us dead because he wants to take over the world! He'll forget about you if he manages to kill us!"

"Yeah" I add, "He's just using you! He didn't want you to try to kill Chase because he wanted you to feel relieved; he wanted you to kill Chase because he wants all four of us dead so he can rule the world!"

"Are you telling the truth?" Charlie asked us.

"Yes! And now that you know that, don't you feel guilty for trying to kill our brother?! I bet you don't, because living the kind of lifestyle you're living right now makes you feel worse than you had felt before!" There was silence.

"What do you have to say to that?" Bree screamed at the speaker. After a couple of minutes of silence, we hear Charlie whisper to himself,

"Oh no. What have I done? I'm a monster…."

"You sure are" Leo replied, "You're a maniac!"

"What's wrong with me? I'm going the down the same path as my father….I can't do that anymore…."

"Yes that's it!" Leo exclaims, "Now get into your right state of mind and get us out of here!" We hear Charlie leave the speaker. Leo turns to Bree and I. "Do you think that he'll let us out of here?" I shrug.

"I hope so" Bree replies, "If not, we're probably going to be goners." Leo gulps. Suddenly we hear the cell door click open and in walks Charlie.

"Come on kids" he says, "Let's get out of here."

"Is this some kind of a trap?" I ask suspiciously. He shakes his head.

"No. That talk you guys had with me over the speaker made me rethink my actions. I can't go getting revenge on your father forever. I can't believe I actually tried to kill your brother." He puts a hand on his head. "What if I had really killed him? I guess I just let my anger get the best of me." He looks up at us again, "But I promise I will change. I won't attack you guys anymore. As soon as we get out of here, I'll apologize to your father and Chase. What I have been doing is wrong."

"So you're really going to help us get out of here?" Bree asks. He nods.

"Yes ma'am." He points towards the door, "Now come on before Krane finds out what I'm doing!"

"Too late!" We hear Krane scream from the speakers, "I know exactly what you're up to Charlie and you're not going to get away with it!" Krane starts to laugh.

"Run!" Charlie screams. Bree helps me stand up and we all immediately run out of the cell. Once we reach the dark hallway, Charlie leads us to the lab's main room. We have to go through the main room to get to the exit. "Hurry guys!" Before we can reach the exit door, Krane appears out of nowhere and blasts all of us with his bionics. We fall to the floor, cringing in pain. Krane laughs loudly.

"Did you all honestly think you could escape from me?" I would've answered, 'Yes' but I was in too much pain to speak.

"You can't defeat us" Leo spoke up, his voice shaky, "There are four of us, and only one of you."

"Oh please" Krane replies, "I'm more powerful than all four of you put together." He creates a fireball in the palm of his hand, "Lights out everybody!" I then suddenly hear and see a blast and Krane falls to the floor in pain.

"News flash Krane" someone says, "Now it's six against one." I finally have enough energy to sit up. Once I do, I see Mr. Davenport and Douglas standing up in front of us.

"Mr. Davenport?" I say.

"Douglas?" Bree croaked out.

"Guys?" Leo added.

"Yup it's us" Davenport replies, "And you three are in big trouble….."
