Rin had been expecting to portal into chaos, but this was crazy. Emma Frost had invaded the horsemen's minds undoing all her hard work and Rin knew Apocalypse had already started his transfer.

" Let go of them Emma." Rin growled and the X-Men looked at her confused.

"Rinalyn how nice of you to come by. I already informed Apocalypse of your betrayal and he was disappointed, but not necessarily surprised. He told me to capture you if I could or kill you if not." Emma smirked as she spoke into their minds.

"Yeah well good luck with that. I've tried to kill myself and it didn't work so I welcome you to try your best." Rin grinned and Emma just laughed.

" That's because the spirit in you is protecting you. Tell me Rinalyn have you told your new friends about Psycho?" Emma asked and Rin growled.

" I'm not letting her out ever so it's not important.X-Men get ready to deal with Apocalypse and Emma's sidekicks!" Rin shouted before launching a powerful mental attack at Emma's mind.Rin could hear the X-men's conversations as she fought.

" I thought Rin was going to fight Apocalypse?" Scott said confused.

" I have to deal with Emma, unless you have a powerful Telepath who can take her down..." Rin trailed off and Scott looked towards Jean.

" I can take her if you take Apocalypse. You know him the best and you might find your friend with him." Jean offered and Rin felt Jean join her in Emma's mind.

" Fine, but Scott you need to come with me." Rin sighed.

" Why I thought you said you didn't need help." Scott scoffed at her.

" I don't you're Scott Summers brother to Alex Summers aren't you?" Rin demanded and He gaped at her.

" How do you know my brother?" He glared threateningly at her.

" My friend her name is Panic Summers and her mom was Katherine Summers. Panic said she never met her real father. She's your sister." Rin announced before leaving him to follow her.

" But I don't have a sister?!" Scott said nervously moving his fingers.

" Yeah wsll you do now." Rin replied and the two ran until they saw Apocalypse and Panic waiting for them.

" Rinalyn my dear I had hoped the rumors weren't true, but it seems my assumptions were true." Apocalypse frowned.

" Let Panic go she wasn't a part in this." Rin spoke softly knowing that force wasn't going to get her anywhere in bargaining with Apocalypse.

" No she's just your obedient lap dog.It's a shame that such a powerful mutant has been reduced to such a state." Apocalypse tutted.

"Don't talk about my sister that way." Scott growled and Apocalypse raised an eyebrow at him.

" You don't even know her." He exclaimed gesturing to Panic who's face remained emotionless even though Rin knew she would be ecstatic to see her family again.

" No, but I do and if I have to beat you to free her then so be it." Rin snarled and shadows flung at him as flicked her wrists and he deflected using his telekinesis. The red bands of plasma energy wrapped around Panic's arms ready to blast her, but Scott countered with his eyebeam. The four were pretty evenly matched until the others had managed to join in and together her and the x-men killed Apocalypse freeing Panic who fell to her knees.

" Are you alright?" Scott asked her his eyebrows furrowing in worry.

" I'm fine just not used to using that much power. Did I hear Rin right, You're Scott?" Panic asked and Scott gave a hesitant nodd before Panic wrapped him in a tight hug.

" Thank you." She whispered and Storm one of the x-men came up to her.

" Are you going to be joining us at the school?" She asked.

" We could use you're help rebuilding if you'd like to come with us." Beast offered, but Rin shook her head.

" I can't come with you. Something in me is dangerous and I've known that for a long time. I still haven't found my place, but the man we ran into, I know him and I have a feeling he is my place. Panic, you should go with them and your brothers. You'll be happy there." Rin told her best friend.

" Stay safe please. I love you Rinalyn and I'll miss you." Panic said hugging her tightly.

" I'll miss you too." Rin muttered into Panic's vibrant hair, taking in her scent knowing that this would probably be the last time she saw them.

" What about us?" Psylocke questioned.

" Well my offer still stands. The X-men could always use more members incase something like this were to happen again. Without the mansion rebuilding is going to be slow." Beast admitted and she nodded and the horsemen joined him.

" Rin I was actually hoping I could join you." Erik said looking sheepishly as he blushed and Rin gave him a shocked look.

" Why?" Rin sputtered having no idea why Erik would pick her over the X-men.

" You have been one of the few people who truly understand me and, even if I can't stay with you, I have learned so much from you in just one conversation. You don't have to say yes, but you told me I was powerful and that you didn't want to be alone with the presence inside you. I'm offering to be that person." Erik said and Rin gave him a soft smile.

" Well Erik if that's what you'd like I'd be happy to travel with you." Rin agreed and they all said their goodbyes and her and Erik left to a new destiny. Rin knew she should of stayed to help Jean, because of the all too real dream, call it selfish, but Rin wanted to focus on herself for once and she only wanted two things: to help Erik and to find Logan.

I was thinking about doing dark Phoenix, but I decided that it wasn't a part of Rin's story. This book has been about her realtionship with Logan and since I won't being seeing it in a while I thought I would end it here and start working on something new.
