Chapter 21: Vacation plannings
SZ:*busy palying MGR:R*come on..almost..*gets gameover*...god damn it! Freaking Armstrong!

Mischief: Uh..guys?
SZ and GT: WHAT?! *look at Mischief*
Mischief:*turns into a turtle and goes into his shell* You're on live, idiots!
SZ:...what?*looks at the readers*..oh. uh...hey
GT: *chuckles sheepishly, blushing a bit* Whoopsie.
SZ: Sorry minna. We didn't see ya there. We were so busy playing our new games, we didn't notice
GT: Blame the awesomeness that is the Wii U for me.
SZ: You're lucky. I gotta wait a month for mine...luckily, it's my B-day next month!
GT: Oh. Than happy early B-Day from me and my Amiibo here. Stormer! *A Pikachu in Ash's hat hops on my shoulder and waves at SZ*
SZ: Thanks man. In the mean time, I'll be playing Jump ultimate Stars on my laptop, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance on my 360, both of which are really awesome games! But we're getting off track, today, we'll be working on the latest arc for Ar, the relaxation arc.
GT: Aye. ...Where are the others? I mean, I thought ON was the guy who was in charge of this arc?
SZ: He would've come, but he's busy with his own story at the moment, so i guess it's just us for the time being.
GT: Okay then.
SZ: Hai...and as for the relaxation arc..well, after what happened in the last arc, our heroes could use a bit of a mini-vacation, right?
GT: Some more than others.
SZ: Aye. So before we get this story started, disclaimers! We don't own anything in this story, nor do we own the Sonic the Hedgehog, Blazblue, or Ben 10 series, We do though own the OCs you'll be seeing in this story.
GT: Yep! So have fun reading, everyone! *goes back to Wii U* And while you read, Stormer and I are going to teach a certain Villager a dang lesson!
SZ: and I gotta head back and finish MGR:R*gets back to 360*alright Armstrong, you're mine this time, you nanomachine using, roid raging maniac!
It had been a week since the events that transpired at Lost Hex occurred, and things seemed to have quiet down and returned to normal..or so one thinks. While the city of Mobitropolis had been repaired to its near original state, some of its citizens feared Nicole was starting to lose control once more. And to top it off, nobody had heard anything about Eggman lately..and that made the people a bit scared, thinking he was going to pull another sneak attack on the city. Luckily, the Council (well...most of them)managed to calm the people down.
With Sonic and the others, the hedgehog seemed...bored, and a bit stressed. Ever since what happened at Lost Hex, he started to worry about losing control of that dark energy...the 'Satsui no Hadou' if he recalled the name right. Makoto, Tsubaki, and Roll were all trying to convince the others that Nicole had just been under the control of the Zeti, but no one either believed them or thought it was ridiculous. Ben though...he had been on bed rest for the entire week. Due to how long he had been as Upgrade and how much he used its abilities, his human body had been put through a feedback of sorts. For the entire week, he couldn't leave the bed without help due to his legs being 'paralyzed', and it annoyed him quite a bit. He wanted to use the Omnitrix, but Tsubaki forbade him from using it while he was on bed rest. He was going to ignore it until she wrapped his Omnitrix up between two hand-pillows and then duct taped them tightly around it and most of his lower arm. And for a bit of added measure, Tsubaki had Makoto keep an eye on him in case he tried to do something sneaky.
Speaking of Sonic and Ben, the two were within the rec room of Freedom HQ, having the entire place to themselves since the girls and Rook(who decided to use his I.D mask to disguise himself) left to look around the city.
"...Hey Sonic," Ben spoke up, making the hedgehog look up at him, "Is everything alright? You've been rather quiet lately."
"Huh? Oh...Y-Yeah, everything…" he took a deep breath, "...everything's alright with me. You doing okay?"
"Uh...yeah. My legs are doing better since we got back from Lost Hex," Ben replied before pondering a bit, "But...I don't understand why I was stuck as Upgrade for so long."
Sonic tensed up a bit at that, making Ben raise an eyebrow slightly. None of them had really told him about what had happened at Lost Hex and by the time they realized they hadn't told him, they thought it was a bit too late to tell him.
"Uh...Hey! Uh... I just thought of something," Sonic quickly spoke as he got up, "We've been really stressed out lately, especially after what went down in Lost Hex, so..why don't we have ourselves a vacation? And to make it interesting, why not both of us have our own separate one?" Ben raised a brow. "Hear me out. You and me, along with who we decide to bring with us, will take a vacation at two, separate spots. It'd be good to relieve stress, and good to get to know who you decide to bring with you."
"I don't know…" Ben noted, "I mean, what if an emergency comes up?"
"Rook and Tails can handle themselves well. Plus, Rotor and his team are helping to protect the city, so we got nothing to worry about. Plus…" Sonic paused as a grin grew on his face, "There's no sign of Eggman anywhere lately, so we're good."
".Are you sure you're not doing this just to be alone with Roll?" Ben asked, making the hedgehog blush a bit.
"Uh...no," Sonic denied.
"You sure? I mean, you have been around her more often than before we went to Lost Hex," Ben noted.
"It...It's not like that!" Sonic argued, "Listen, at Lost Hex...she and Yacker did something dangerous twice." Ben motioned for him to go on, "Roll...channeled sixteen different Wisp abilities all at once through her body."
"Sixteen?" Ben blinked, "Didn't expect that many."
"I don't think anyone did," Sonic shrugged, "But...But each time she changed back, she coughed up blood and was unconscious. To tell ya the truth...I'm scared about what'll happen if she turns into that form again."
"Does this explain her new plant?" Ben asked, motioning to a nearby pot that reached up to Sonic's knees in height with a small stem and leaf emerging from it.
"I have no clue where she got whatever she put in there," Sonic replied, "By the way..since we're asking questions, I have one I've been meaning to ask...mainly about you, Makoto, and Tsubaki."
"...Say what now?"
"Lately, I've been noticing you were looking at them a bit. Care to explain why?" Sonic asked, a small, sly grin on his face as he turned to face the teen.
"...I...I have no idea what you're talking about," Ben denied as he turned to hide the blush on his face.
"Don't deny it, man. I saw you checking them out once...but...I'm curious. Makoto I get-and don't deny it man-, but..why Tsubaki?"
"W..w…" Ben began before shaking his head, "Are we seriously having this conversation?!"
"Who knows?" Sonic shrugged, "Maybe one of us is just dreaming this all up? Maybe we're both hallucinating because of Roll's new plant. Or we're both just wide awake and actually talking about having separate vacations."
"...Uh...actually, vacations sound like a good idea," Ben said, wanting to change the conversation fast, "And uh...maybe I'll take Makoto and Tsubaki wi-" he quickly shut his mouth at that, 'Crap!'
"Oh?" Sonic raised a brow with a teasing look appearing in his eyes, "So you're taking them with you?"
"...Uh…"
"Well...I'm wa~iting," Sonic urged, the teasing look still on his face.
"..D..depends if you're taking Roll with you," Ben quickly countered, making the hedgehog blush once more.
"I...uh…" Sonic coughed into his fist once, averting his eyes from Ben, "E...even if i did, I'd have to take Haseo too. Roll's been...kinda clingy of him lately since we got back."
"Nicole as well," Ben reminded him, "She's been clingy to them both, remember?"
"Oh yeah…" Sonic bopped the bottom of his fist into the palm of his hand, "...Actually, it would do Nicole some good as well. So I'll take her with me, Roll, and Haseo. So let's take a vacation for say...3 weeks?"
"4," Ben countered.
"Okay, a whole month off then," Sonic nodded, "Oh! Wait. Wait. Nicole's not allowed to leave the HQ." he glanced at the taped arm of Ben's, "...You think if I can get that off, you can do something about that?"
"As Grey Matter, yeah," Ben nodded.
"..." Sonic zipped out and came back in with a pair of scissors, "We both agree that if we get caught...this was Yacker's idea."
"Agreed," Ben quickly nodded before within an instant, the 'container' on his arm was removed, "...dang that was fast.". he then started to look through his Omnitrix to look for Grey Matter before stopping on said Alien's symbol, 'Please don't turn me into Walkatrout.' he slowly pressed it down and, in a flash of green light, Grey Matter was standing before Sonic's foot, "..." Grey Matter looked at his hands, "Phew. That's a relief."
"Good. So..think you can do something so Nicole can leave Freedom HQ?"
"Hmm…" Grey Matter looked around, "I believe I can. I need a piece of paper and a pen first."
"...Don't you mean a pencil?"
"No, a pen."
"...uh...ok," Sonic blinked as he rushed out of the room before returning with said items, "Here."
"Thank you," Grey Matter nodded before taking the pen and started to write on the paper, "While I'm getting this ready, you go and retrieve those we're going to take."
"...Uh...got it," Sonic slowly nodded before rushing out of HQ.
"...Is this really necessary, Roll?" Nicole asked the hedgefox as they, along with Makoto and Tsubaki (both as a Mobian Squirrel and Fox respectively) walked along the streets of New Mobitropolis, the lynx wearing a purple top, light blue shorts, and a purple hat that hid most of her face.
"Of course I'm sure," Roll replied.
"Are you sure? Because most of the people here are giving us strange looks," Nicole stated, seeing a few male and female Mobians giving the four a look.
"I told you to leave Yacker back at the base," Tsubaki frowned at Roll, the Wisp floating over their heads and looking at everything he could.
"...Actually Tsubaki, I don't think that's what she meant," Makoto stated a bit," From what I see here, I think they're checking us out."
"Checking...us out?" Nicole blinked, the term unknown to her, "What do you mean?"
"...You know...checking out the goods?"
"..What goods? We do not have any objects on us at the moment, Makoto."
"Hai, hai," Roll agreed.
"..." Makoto and Tsubaki shared glances before Makoto facepalmed, 'Are these two long-lost sisters or something?'
Before Roll or Nicole could ask further, a familiar blur ran up to the small group before stopping in front of them.
"Sonic? Is there something wrong?" Nicole asked, a bit surprised to see the hedgehog.
"No, but do you and the girls mind heading back to HQ with me? Me and Ben want to discuss something with you."
"Eh? Discuss what?" Makoto blinked.
"Just coem w.." Sonic began before wincing for a sec, feeling a sharp pain in his head, "..I..I'm sorry..I'll see you girls back at HQ."
"Eh?" Makoto blinked before sonic left in a blur once more.
"..." Sonic looked himself in his reflection; ever since he awoken that Satsui no Hado and looking at his mirror image, he didn't see Sonic the hedgehog at all...he saw Scourge, "No no no!" Sonic growled punching the mirror. "...All it takes is one bad day." 'Damn it..there has to be some way I can get this damn thing out of me!' he then heard something and turn around to see Tails, "Oh. Hey, pal."
"Sonic? Is..everything ok?"
"No. Lately I've been wanting to kill," Sonic sighed, "I tricked the Zeti into getting killed, but I'm not a big fan of killing. I don't know why I was okay with it...hell when Zavok fell into the lava...I was grinning ear to ear." he said, "Now everytime i look in the mirror...every time I sleep, every second... I'm feeling like I'll finally just snap and become Scourge." he shuddered, seeing another reflective surface showing Scourge instead of Sonic, which Sonic quickly smashed, "Everywhere I look, I see my reflection. Even my shadow is Scourge!" he snapped unleashing a bit of the surge of murderous intent.
"Oh man…" Tails whispered as he looked at Sonic with wide eyes, a bit scared seeing his friend like this.
"I...reFUse To be s...monster like him," Sonic said calming down, "Knowing him, he has the same power I do." Sonic then turn to Tails, "I gotta look for someone. There has to be a way to free me from this. I'm not turning into Scourge; and this sudden acceptance for murdering/killing is not okay with me. It doesn't matter how bad someone is, they're alive. I'm not going down to Shadow's level or Eggman's and killing anyone I don't like."
"You need a ride?" Tails offered.
"No. I need to be on my own for a bit...but I do need to borrow my plane." Sonic said.
"You remember how to fly it?" Tails asked jokingly.
"You remember who taught you the controls?"
"...Good point," Tails sweatdropped a bit, "Wait...What about your vacation?"
"I'm taking it. But if I just so happen to find someone to help me, bonus."
"...Okay…"
"Plus, the vacation would do Nicole some good," Sonic added.
"Actually, Sonic, there's someplace I'd like to take her for some upgrades so what happened with the Zeti doesn't happen again...plus Nagus wants Zetaplex under his control, apparently, so I need to hurry and get Nicole out of here."
"Ughh." Sonic groaned holding back his Satsui no Hado, "Ok...hopefully, Ben doesn't finish with what he needs to do as Grey Matter."
"You gonna tell Roll about your vacation?" Tails asked.
"Might as well. Amy too; I need to be nicer to her." Sonic replied as he walked off.
"...Seriously, I wonder what they wanted to talk about?" Makoto asked when the girls came back to Freedom HQ, Amy included since they ran into the female hedgehog along the way.
"Everyone here?" Rook asked.
"Yes/Hai," the group of girls nodded.
"Good. You may proceed." Rook said as Sonic and Ben entered.
"Well as you guys all know: things got crazy a few days back."
"Wait. It's been days since we were on lost hex?" Sonic blinked.
"Yeah."
"Damn. It felt more like hours at best," Sonic noted to himself. "How long did we take naps?!"
"Not sure...I've been on bed rest. Remember?" Ben reminded.
"Right...Sorry. Anyways, to get to the point...Tails?"
"Due to the fact that a lot of machines went nuts down here because of the Zeti and since we also can't prove their existence or their influence, Nagus wants to weaponize and mass produce Zeta…"
"Metroplex," Nicole frowned.
"Right. Metroplex...but they need Nicole to do it, so I'm taking Nicole someplace safe...her nanites as well to have her and them upgraded," Tails informed the group.
"And while he's doing that...I'm leaving for a bit," Sonic stated. "So is Ben, but not together. I'm going one place, he's going a different place...and Rook's going with him."
"Why?"
"To keep him out of trouble?" Sonic reasoned.
"So my everyday job then?" Rook asked plainly.
"Hey…" Ben frowned.
"And since you guys kinda showed up in this world sorta together, Makoto and Tsubaki are going with him and Rook," Sonic informed.
"Okay, you guys have fun on your vacation and-Whaaaat?" Makoto asked near the end.
"I don't repeat myself. Next time, record the meetings if it helps. I gotta go." Sonic replied, "We'll meet in four weeks at Tails and Nicole's location. Bye!"
He quickly sped off using his Figure 8 trick.
"...Wait...I thought sonic was gonna take Nicole as well," Ben blinked, "I just finished doing…"
"He made a sudden change in plans," Tails sighed, "He's a bit...unstable at the moment." Tails whispered...but he was unaware of Roll hearing him.
'Unstable?' Roll thought, "Ah! What about Haseo-chan?"
"Wasn't he with you?" Amy asked.
"He's in the bathroom," Roll replied, "I meant that I'm worried about Haseo-chan staying here without someone. Tails-chan, can you let him go with you and Nicole-chan?"
"...I'll watch him," Amy offered, "Besides, you don't realize what Tails doing this means."
"Huh?" Tsubaki blinked.
"The moment Tails takes Nicole and, by extension, her nanites, he'll be labeled a traitor by Naugus. And so, he'll be a wanted criminal," Amy informed.
"Eh?!" Roll exclaimed, "Ah mou…Not good. Not good. Not good…!"
"I can't let Naugus force Nicole into slavery and getting his hands on Metroplex… Besides, I've been wanting to take real action anyway," Tails smirked.
"As you expect from the son of Amadeus Prower, the man who attempted to overthrow the Acorn family." Nicole noted.
"My dad had a slight...disagreement...with the chain of command and so do I," Tails replied.
"...Could you still take Haseo-chan with you?" Roll asked, "I think he'd be safer with you and Nicole-chan than around here."
"The place I'm going...well, his safety won't be...well..."
"He'd lose his life in precisely 100 seconds." Nicole informed, "Besides, only Tails can enter where we have to go."
Roll bit her lower lip in concern.
"Roll, why can't you watch him? I mean you act as if….you're planning to follow Sonic, aren't you?" Amy frowned but sighed when Roll nodded, "...Okay listen, Roll, I'm going to visit my cousin's kingdom. I'll take Haseo with me. It's a peaceful land and he'll be safe there, but if you're going after Sonic...do me a favor and at least inform me of his condition. I'll call you every hour to tell you about Haseo's status."
"Oh thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Roll squealed in delight as she pulled Amy into a tight hug.
"...My anger management classes are a bad influence." Amy sighed.
"Umm, Roll you better hurry. Sonic's taking his plane," Tails informed Roll, "S…" Before he could finish, a yellow blur shot by him, "Buttermilk...biscuits...Ugh."
"...Uh..l..let's hurry and get ready then, Makoto," Tsubaki spoke up
"Roger. I'll get the swimsuits."
"We don't have...oh my god. You didn't save…" Tsubaki's eye twitched.
"The Golden Angel!" Makoto declared as she pulled out a small case filled with vials of the liquid swimsuits.
"The Golden...Angel?" Nicole repeated, looking at the small vials
"You don't want to know...Doesn't Tails have to smuggle you out of town?" Tsubaki groaned.
"...Oh Chaos. That's right! I have bombs to set!" Tails blinked before flying off.
"..Bombs?"
"He has a bomb for everything, bomb shape like acorns, bombs shape like rings, bombs shape like that tail of Makoto..." Rook started. "You name it he has a bomb for it."
"AMY-CHAN IS ROYALTY?!" everyone heard Roll exclaim.
"...Did she just come to that conclusion?" Amy sweatdropped.
=I'm innocent, you bitch!= Shard growled at Kokonoe, who had him trapped in a computer.
"How did you even do this?" Larry asked.
"I took out his A.I...his body is right there." Kokonoe said, pointing to Shard's inactive body.
"No. I meant how did you make him look like a hedgehog Mobian on here?" Larry asked, the lynx pointing at the image.
"That's his desired form." Kokonoe answered clearly, "He, a puppet who wants to be a man."
=Screw you! I'm not your puppet!= Shard frowned as he looked at the other secret freedom fighters, looking at him in mix of fear/suspicion/betrayal over his alleged actions, =I didn't attack any of you. I swear!=
"Your actions last time proved otherwise, rat boy," Kevin frowned, a cast on his arm.
=It must've a been a fake or an imposter= he reasoned.
"Um...H...He seemed to have lost his memory of what he did," Noel pointed out.
"Uh huh... Let's test that," Kokonoe said hitting something as a "Truth Mode" appeared over Shard's head, "Do you recall calling me a bitch?"
=Yeah I do, and so does Kevin when you're not looking our way=
"Dude!" Kevin exclaimed as Kokonoe glared at him.
"That was a bit too vague," Gwen pointed out, "Shard, do you remember shooting Kokonoe?"
=No. All the time in my dreams though. Thinking it right now, too. Especially when Noel told me you put a dang BOMB in me!=
"Why did you hold back on Noel?" Larry asked.
=Simple. 'Cause unlike all of the woman here, she's the nicest, sweetest, and more innocent one here. Hell, I wish I was more organic. If I was, I ask her out on a date=
Everyone blinked at that.
"O-Oh my…" Noel blushed.
"..So you have a crush on Noel."
=Hell yeah. Who wouldn't? Unlike you, ya bomb-inserting bitch, she actually cares for my well being and doesn't want me to lose a single limb. Even if it can be rebuilt, she doesn't want that to happen to me.=
"...Do you remember shooting Kokonoe in the stomach in the last week that wasn't in your dreams?" Gwen asked.
=In my mind, when I'm awake= Shard snickered.
"...Do you know anything about Emperor Metal Sonic?" Noel asked.
=I have no idea who that is. Please tell me the bitch isn't making one...=
"I could make a better Metal Sonic than Eggman...in fact..." Kokonoe snorted, listing that down on her to do list.
=Now I got a question. Gonna tell Noel about her true nature, Kokonoe?=
"...How the hell do you…"
=It's plain as day for me. She is a…= Shard started before Kokonoe turned the screen off.
"Ms. Kokonoe!" Noel gasped.
"Shut up! He's in my cyber-jail, so we can't trust him," Kokonoe frowned. "Silver, you're going to tell us what you know about this emperor."
"...I'd really...really rather not," Silver advised, trembling in fear.
"Talk."
"...Fine...I met a guy called Dr. Paradox."
"Paradox?" Gwen gasped.
"Him again…?" Kevin facepalmed.
"Yeah. He ask me to be his companion for a while." Silver explained, "We had some fun times...good and bad...in truth, I met versions of you two." he informed Gwen and Kevin, "But Paradox said I can't assume every version I meet are ones I know, so I acted like you guys were strangers when we met...heck. I met a Gwen who had a strange watch thing and was well..playing for the other team."
"Playing for the other team? What are you…" Larry began.
"She liked Girls," Kevin stated, grinning a little, "..."
"Kevin…" Gwen frowned, putting her hands on her hips, "What are you thinking about?"
"Nothing. Nothing," Kevin quickly replied, "Certainly not you with another girl in bed and body oil."
"Well, anyway, me and Paradox ended up in places he called 'fixed' timelines; timelines that were destined to happen and couldn't be stop...That's when I saw Eggman greatest and final creation." Silver trembled.
"Final..."
"I saw him kill Eggman more times than I can count and the way he was murdered...you can't wish that on anyone. Not even on Nega."
"Who's Nega?" Kevin asked.
"We can ask about that later, Kevin," Gwen replied, "Who killed Eggman, Silver?"
"Metal Sonic. When he fully awakened, he, Metal became unbound. He was free of control and to do as he pleased. He conquered a machine empire called the Metarex, and renamed them the Metallix, He made a new version of the Roboticizer that stole souls...It was a horror show what he did. Sonic was the first to go...Metal snapped his neck." Silver cried, "One version of Sonic saved me from Metal and I watched him getting killed. I've seen lots of bad things, guys...but the futures ruled by Metal are the worst."
"How did you keep living?"
"...He didn't see the point in killing me….he said he already won he had his future and i'll have mine." he recalled, "Dr. Paradox warned me that if Metal Sonic exists in anyway or form...the reign of Metal Sonic...will come. It's a fixed point, it's been determined… but it all begins with one defining moment."
"What?" Kokonoe asked.
"His transformation into Neo Metal Sonic." Silver said, "That's the beginning of the world's end."
"What the hell?!" Eggman roared as he visited his last base.
He had been visiting bases non stop and discovered them all...empty. Gone. Nothing.
"Where is my legion?! My army?! My…?!"
"Umm, Boss? I found a DVD from Lien-Da," Orbot informed.
"...Well don't just stand there! Play it!" Eggman ordered.
"Yes sir. Cubot, say ahh."
"..."
"Cubot...say ahh please."
"But I don't want to eat the round thing, mama!" Cubot pouted.
"Ex...cuse me?"
"He been in a little kid mood since we left the base in jungle." Orbot informed. "Ahem...Cubot remember the yellow hedgefox friend of ours?"
"Oh! Yes!" Cubot replied, "She was very nice to me. She didn't hit me on the head."
"Eat the round thing and I won't hit you on the head anymore."
"Promise?"
"Yes and Eggman pinky promises."
"I what now?" Eggman looked up from the papers he had managed to find as Cubot ate the DVD, making his eyes light up.
"There we go," Orbot beamed as Cubot's eyes shined on a nearby wall, acting as a projector screen.
Lien-Da, along with Sally, the Omniborgs and all of Eggman's armies-even prisoners like Snively-were shown.
"Hello, Master Eggman….pftt! ahahahahaha!" Lien-Da laughed kicking her feet in the air, "Did..Did I say that with a straight face, Rathborg model 69?" she asked the cameraman who was laughing.
=Yes you did!=
"Should I-should I start over?" Lien-Da snickered.
=No! Keep going!=
"Okay. Well, Eggman, unlike you, our army benefited from the Zeti's takeover; we kept our upgrades from Zen, and are now all part Galvan and I gotta say...It's amazing. Sally's loving it, aren't you Sally?"
"Fuck off. Echidna."
=Ooh! She got you!=
"Pottymouth," Cubot frowned.
"Well as we thought about it...we don't need you anymore, Eggman. So we all quit and a lot of your "friends" and even family wanted to come with us...right Snively?"
"I don't have family." Snively frowned.
"Ahh...I know the feeling. So Eggman, by the time you watch this, you will have nothing left and I mean absolutely nothing. We took everything. We don't need any of us come across you, we have freedom to kill you." Lien-Da said. "Oh and before you think about anything like your bombs, the Zeti got rid of those too."
"..." Eggman's eye twitched.
"So listen, you fat prick. You're nothing...No. You're less than nothing. You can continue your futile efforts to be a big shark in a small pond, but you're not gonna survive in the ocean 'cause you make a teeny tiny little splash...oh Cubot, Orbot? "Fate is my friend cause she bought you again…" Sonic sang before blinking as he noticed a bit of yellow fur, "..." he opened the secret compartment behind his seat and looked at Roll, "...This is a private vacation, you know."
"This is about what Zik-san told you," Roll frowned.
"I'll drop you off at the nearest airport." Sonic sighed continuing to fly.
"No. You need someone that can be able to at least be your equal if your issue comes up," Roll informed, Yacker waving a tentacle from his spot on her shoulder.
"Roll, I'm going somewhere where I'll be alone and the one place I know where to find a certain thing and, if I'm lucky, someone who can fix me." he sighed holding his head as the surge got stronger. "I'm not letting myself become anything like him, never like him."
"Who?" Roll asked, "Zavok?"
"He's dead. Well...some say the guy I'm looking for is...but I'll explain later." he sighed, "If you're gonna follow me then you have to make me a promise or I'll drop you off now."
