Midnight

'Damn, when did I become a mule?' Kurama was carrying Naruto on his back, only to hear the blond mutter something. "What's wrong brat?"

"Old man Jura is not far off, you have to help him, Kurama." Naruto gasped out and fell back to unconsciousness after saying those words.

"Got it." He then noticed the fallen leader of the Oracion Seis and walked over to him, picking up the fallen mad man with one of his tails. "You ain't getting off that easy." Kurama ran off, carrying Naruto and Brain.

(Wendy's group) (Play Fairy Tail OST-Pantherlily)

"Fall!" Midnight sent out a spiral of distorted air, almost shredding the group if not for Gray surrounding them with a dome of reinforced ice. It was shattered instantly but did its job to protect everyone.

Gray barely dodged Midnight's attack which shredded the ground beneath him. Gray used this chance to launch ice lances at Midnight, who jumped out of the way and then stopped his own attack. 'He dodged? When we used our attacks on him earlier, they went around him. So, what's different now?' Gray created a bow to send arrows at Midnight, who stood there, taking the attack head on. The arrows went around him. Gray turned back to the others, but this time he was panting heavily. 'He didn't move at all this time. I can barely fight now, I fought too much already.'

"This person, he's distorting the air to attack. I can feel the air shift and hear it too." Wendy told the others, with Midnight's eyes widening before he unleashed an attack at Wendy, but Gray pushed her out of the way and took a massive cut on his torso, blood gushing out of the ice wizard.

"GRAY!" Happy and Lucy shouted for him and ran towards the fallen wizard, who barely clung to consciousness. Wendy went to heal him, but narrowly avoided Midnight's attack. Midnight manipulated his Invisible Scythe and kept attacking, with Wendy being helped by Carla and Happy, helping her fly into the air. Gray used this chance to freeze the wound.

"Futile!" Midnight kept up his attack, but this gave Gray an opening and make an icicle to attack Midnight, succeeding in cutting the latter's arm and forcing Midnight to stop his assault and move back. Gray attempted a second attack, only for Midnight to kick the icicle out of his hands, but Gray kicked him, only to hit something solid instead.

'Shit! He can distort my leg now!' But instead of what Gray thought was going to occur, Midnight almost cut his leg clean off, if not for Gray retreating due to Midnight's time lag from using his offensive spell.

"I understand now." Gray smirked at Midnight but was breathing heavily again. 'Damn, I'm running on fumes here. I can barely use any spells, making that icicle was the best I could do.' He turned to Wendy and Lucy in the air, being held up by the cats. 'I have to rely on those two to finish this.'

(OST End)

"Lucy! Wendy!" Both females turned their attention to him. "He can distort air and any material things, but he can't distort human bodies. But he can still block physical attacks." Midnight realised Gray discovered his weaknesses and went back on the offensive. Gray began dodging but was grazed a few times. "He can't defend attacks whilst he's the one attacking, that's your chance to take him out!" Gray was hit dead on, making a makeshift ice shield before being knocked back and fell unconscious after suffering another cut to his body.

"Gray!" The females shouted out for their comrade and with the cats distracted, this gave Midnight a chance to strike at them. The cats manoeuvred out of his range, albeit barely and were forced to dodge air blades sent from Midnight.

'Mister Gray said that when he uses his own attacks, he can't use his magic to defend at the same time. That means we can win this by using this fact against him. If he focuses his attack on one of us, that gives the other time to attack him.' Wendy looked at Lucy and Happy.

"Lucy and Happy, Gray said that this person can't defend himself whilst attacking. If one of us can gain his attention, the rest of us can attack him while he's distracted." She told them her plan, which surprised Carla.

"Good thinking. Happy and I can handle the distraction, right now, I don't have much in attack strength since my strongest Celestial Spirits are unavailable right now." Lucy told her, with Happy agreeing.

"Okay, but be careful, Lucy and Happy." The Fairy Tail wizards nodded and dived towards Midnight, still evading his air blades. Midnight dodged their attempt and was forced to stop his attacks. He back flipped into the air, moving backwards whilst still in mid-air.

"Useless!" He taunted, but was hit from behind by Wendy's kick, whom was still being flown around by Carla. 'That ice wizard, he told them about Reflector's weaknesses. But that doesn't mean I'll just let you take advantage of me!' Midnight covered himself with a spiral which extended to surround his entire body. 'I'll just cut you to pieces!'

'The air around him is changing! It's surrounding him.' "Lucy! Get out of his way! He's going on the attack!" Wendy shouted to her new friends. Happy flew back up, but not before Lucy took a few scratches on her body, making her hiss in pain. "Lucy!" Wendy moved forward, pulling Carla with her. "Sky Dragon's Crushing Fang!" Wendy's attack hit the spiral dead on and was blasted back due to the clash. Happy and Lucy flew back down and caught Wendy and Carla.

"Not bad. Your attack had some power behind it." Midnight only moved slightly from his spot compared to Wendy who was blasted further away in comparison. 'In terms of attack strength, my Reflector isn't effective, but make ups for it due to its defensive and cutting abilities. Part of her attack almost slipped through my defences, I got careless and allowed her to push me back.' Midnight grinned and then laughed.

'He's laugh is creepy.' Lucy commented within her mind and the others were also in similar mindset.

"You cannot beat me as you are now." He placed his right hand over his face whilst still chuckling to himself. However, Wendy spoke before he could speak again.

"And you can't beat us now that we know how your magic works!" This made Midnight laugh even harder that he even held his own stomach.

"Hahahahaha! You actually think I used my full power against you?" This made their eyes widen as Midnight's grin transformed into an evil smirk. "No, I have yet to use my full capabilities. And at midnight, I will show you my ultimate power!" The air around him danced as Midnight's power flowed.

(With Natsu and Silva)

Natsu was picked up by an unknown figure, who took out a communication lacrima. "I have Natsu. Let's get the others."

(With Kurama)

'Glad we're out of there.' Kurama then felt a presence behind him. He turned around and spoke. "You're…."

(Back with Wendy's group)

"Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" Wendy swung her arms forward and generated whirlwinds at a distracted Midnight, who aimed his attacks at Lucy and the two cats. Midnight was hit dead on and sent up to the air.

'I will not lose!' Midnight reactivated Reflector to reflect Wendy's attack back at her. Wendy was hit but took the attack head on and glowed with green aura, dispersing the attack with a shockwave leaving her body.

'Wendy. I've never seen you fight like this. In fact, before today, you've never fought anyone.' She began to think about something that bothered her a while ago.

(Flashback)

"Carla, please throw some more plates at me!" Wendy asked the cat, who pulled the lever to a device which launched several plates at her. Wendy focused and breathed in before twirling around and motioning her arms, generating whirlwinds, that destroyed the plates upon contact. Wendy huffed and wiped the sweat off her forehead.

'What's gotten with her?' "Let's take a break Wendy. You look beat." Carla told her friend and was curious to the change in Wendy. Carla brought Wendy some water and asked why she was training.

"Because I need to get stronger, so that the next time I meet him, I won't be a burden." Carla caught the way Wendy said 'him' and how she spoke confidently for once.

'She's doing this to impress a boy?' Carla was confused. 'She had a lot of perverts go after her, though she hasn't shown interest in anyone. Even some pretty boys most girls would throw themselves over. I still remember that filthy mutt, she even kicked him where the sun doesn't shine.'

(Flashback End)

'That Naruto boy. He's the reason why her confidence built up.' She gave a small smile. 'Maybe it's a good thing you met her.' Carla was so lost in her thoughts, she could not see the incoming attack from Midnight until it was too late. Carla was blasted upwards and fell unconscious.

"Carla!" Wendy shouted for her friend and was joined by Happy. Midnight attempted to use this to attack the distracted Wendy, but Happy hit a headbutt from behind make him lose balance.

"My turn, you creep!" Lucy jumped and focused. "Lucy Kick!" Lucy kicked Midnight, or at least tried to, but the young man grabbed her leg and threw her at Wendy, who caught her. Midnight then grabbed Happy by the head and tossed him towards the girls. Happy landed face first in front of them and had swirls for eyes.

"Oh no! Happy!" Lucy and Wendy looked at him and realised he was out of it as he mumbled incoherently.

Midnight cracked his neck and compared to the girls, took less damage than them. Midnight saw the moon above him and realised something important. "It's time to end this little game, little girls." He pointed to the sky. "You see, now it's time to show you my true power. A power I can only reach when it reaches midnight."

The girl's eyes widened at this, both realising it was a few seconds to Midnight. However, there was one person in the area everyone forgot about.

"It's time for my Nightmare Terror!" Midnight's power level rose, and he began to change form to become a monster, scaring the girls, only for that illusion to break as Midnight's lower half became frozen, then his whole body. "W-What!?" The girls and Midnight turned to see Gray, with his hands on the ground, freezing it and preventing Midnight from using his spell.

"Gray!" Both girls yelled in relief.

(Play Fairy Tail OST-Dragon Force)

"Wendy! He's open, finish him off with a dragon's roar!" Gray told her to which the Cait Shelter wizard froze a little.

"But I've only used my Dragon's Roar once. What if I can't do it?" Wendy was nervous, but Lucy placed a hand on her shoulder.

"We're with you on this Wendy. We know you can do it, just know that you're not alone." Lucy smiled at her, which brought back Wendy's confidence.

"You can count on me!" She told Lucy, only for Gray to yell at them.

"Hurry up! He's cracking the ice and it'll be a matter of time before he's free! Do it now!" Midnight was slowly cracking the ice by focusing his magic, it would be a matter of time before he was free.

'Breathe in, Wendy. Breathe.' Wendy channelled magic into her body and began to breathe in, air being swallowed in. The wind howled around her body and she focused. 'Now, release and roar to the wind!' "Sky Dragon's Roar!" Midnight managed to break free but was too late and hit dead on.

'How could I lose?' Midnight had flashes of when he was a child imprisoned inside a cell, at the Tower of Heaven, then of him meeting Brain. 'I have failed you father!' Midnight was blown away and knocked out for good.

"We did it!" Wendy and Lucy high-fived, whilst Gray smiled. The girls picked up Happy and Carla, with Wendy ready to heal them, only for Nirvana to shake.

"Damn! We've run out of time!" Gray cursed as they all tried to make a break for it. Gray picked up Midnight and made haste, but they all knew it was futile at this point. Suddenly, a ladder dropped down from out of nowhere, making everyone look above to see Cristina and the members of Blue Pegasus.

"Need a hand!" Lyon and Kurama were on the ladder, with Kurama extending one of his tails and grabbed Gray and Midnight, then using more tails to grab the girls and cats.

"You guys are okay!" Lucy was happy to see everyone alright.

"Wait! What about Naruto and Natsu?" Wendy was concerned, but Kurama smirked.

"Already in the ship, they beat their opponents and are safe." This made Wendy sigh in relief. Cristina flew away with its passengers, from the collapsing Nirvana.

The alliance had won. The Oracion Seis and two Demon Blade members had fallen.

End. Sorry for the delay. I will be working in this story for the foreseeable future due to some writer's block on the other two. Also, my new job involves me mainly working the evenings and nights, so less time to write them. I think this chapter wasn't that good, but I wanted to move on to the other one and end the Oracion Seis arc. I found Midnight's abilities tricky to write, so that's why it took longer than expected. Basically, Gray's eyes were still closed and he woke up just after he cast illusion and escaped its effects before it could affect him and froze Midnight, making him lose focus. Please review, I want at least three to reach 100 reviews for this story.

Also, I wanted to change Naruto's dub voice actor for this story, because he would sound too much like Loke. I will put up a poll after updating this and will randomly close it after enough votes. Here are the options:
