WOW! I didn't know you guys even still cared about this story!

I guess that's a good thing! Sorry for leaving you hanging!

Enjoy!

Kate felt very apprehensive.

Okay scratch that. Apprehensive wasn't the word. More like... scared right out of her skin? Yeah, that'd work definitely.

Her Dad was at a weekend conference and had just left. Her Mom went to upstate to visit an Aunt of hers. She convinced her Mom to let her stay home, saying that she wasn't feeling well and she'd hate to get anyone else sick. She had the house all to herself, exactly as she'd planned, and now she just had to wait.

She was going to call Rick over to hang out. Things with them normally got a little hot and heavy, so she'd just allow things to run their course. Kate hadn't told her boyfriend of her plans because she didn't want it that way. She didn't want some over thought, elaborate, and dramatic thing. She just wanted one passion filled night, unrehearsed, with she and her boyfriend just being themselves. Being in love.

Before Kate could contradict herself and over think it, she picked up the phone, called Rick and had him come over. It only took about five minutes for him to arrive, bringing with him popcorn, five movies, and her favorite ice cream. Gosh, she loved this guy. Her guy.

"Hey sweetie." She greeted sweetly.

"Hey, I'm glad you called. I was going stir crazy at my place."

She took his hand and allowed him to set up in the living room while she made popcorn. Once it was done, she brought it with her and entered what used to be her living room. Now, it was a complicated array of twists and turns that connected to her couches. All the blankets had been tied together and hung on a point on her fan, making it appear like more of a tent. The T.V. had been strategically placed on the floor so that they could see it from the fort. Kate smiled at her boyfriend's childlike innocence. He'd make a great Dad, she thought as she made her way through the fort to Rick.

"Hey, what took so long?" She spotted him sitting in front of the television waiting to press play on what she now saw was The Avengers. She giggled again at his ability to go from sweet and serious 17 year old to cute and innocent 9 year old.

"I almost got lost in your blanket mansion. Seriously Rick, how many blankets did you use?"

"Six," he said smugly "but if you know how to use them, you can make them look amazing."

"Alright alright, we've got a movie to watch."

Kate snuggled into Rick and they began watching the movie. They kept letting out excited squeals during the movie. The action was really good. It was one of the greatest movies ever! After that went off, they moved on to all the Transformers movies. Half way through Rise of the Fallen, the second movie, Rick and Kate were to busy making out to notice the action points to the movie. Rick tried to calm things down, but anytime he'd try to pull back or slow any movement, Kate would do something that would cause him to lose control. Finally regaining some semblance of himself, Rick pulled Kate's head. Seeing as she was on top of him, it was a bit of a challenge, but he managed.

"Kate," he breathed roughly "what are we doing?"

"Oh, come on, we both took that health class together." She tried to joke.

"No, I mean, are you sure? Because if not-"

"I'm sure," she shouted and attacked his mouth "I'm so," she gave his jaw a kiss "so," then one to his neck "sure."

That was all Rick needed to hear. They took no time getting rid if clothes. Luckily, Kate had protection pre planned. Right before they actually joined, Rick checked to see if she was sure again before plunging them into a place they could never return from. He was gentle with her, eased her into everything and made sure he was attentive to her more than anything.

Kate was not only awoken by the sunlight streaming through the blankets on the fort, but a number of things.

1. Her handsome boyfriend's warm breath on her forehead.

2. The undeniable ache between her legs.

3. The keys jingling in the lock before her front door was opened and voice spilled in.

The only thing that truly made Kate spring up was number three. Who was that? It was so early in the morning and the only ones who had keys were her parents. Her Dad was still at his conference, but her Mom might be...

"Katie? What's all this?" She heard her mother call. What made her stomach worse was hearing that her mother had company. Oh crap!

She quickly got up and dressed as fast as she could then exited the world of blankets.

"Mom, what are you doing here? And with them?" Kate noticed that her mother, both her Aunts, and three of her cousins were staring at her.

"Well, your Aunt Dorothea's place is being fumigated, so I figured we could have them stay her for a bit. What's all this?"

"Oh, uh, Rick came over. He didn't want to leave me all alone so he brought over some movies and we kinda... fell asleep." She felt horrible for lying to them, all of them, but this was a delicate situation and it had to be done.

"Oh, alright, well you should take this down so we can all get settled. I'm sure your family would love to meet Rick."

"NO! Mommy can we please play in the fort? Please please please?!" Kate's youngest cousin Donovan whined and she really needed them to say no. After what she and Rick had done in there (three times) she doubted it was suitable for child play.

"No sweetheart, you need to eat. Let's go, into the kitchen." Kate breathed a sigh of relief as she saw her family go into the kitchen. She quickly rushed into the fort. She regretted waking him because he looked so adorable and ruffled, but she couldn't very well leave him.

"Rick! Rick, come on wake up."

"No, don't get up. Stay in bed."

"Rick!" She shout whispered. That got his attention.

"Kate. Hi."

"Rick."

"What?"

"You have to wake up."

"What?"

"Stop saying what and wake up!" She was seriously getting frustrated. She would've been better off stuffing him in a closet somewhere. "My Mom came home early and she has family in the kitchen, so I suggest you wake up, get dressed and try not to give anything away!"

Rick looked at her wide eyed. "What?"

"Ugh!" Kate gave up trying with him and shoved him and his clothes up the stairs to get arranged. While he dressed, she dismantled the fort and threw the blankets in the closet. Well, all but the ones they slept on. Those went straight for the wash. Once she was done, she found Rick downstairs in the mirror, finally able to comprehend the situation.

"Awake now?"

"Ha ha. I'm fine, but come one they're waiting." She nodded and took his hand, then remembered something and stopped him. "What?"

Kate brought her lips to his in a sweet kiss. "Good morning, last night was amazing." Rick smiled and she pulled him along. Once at the kitchen doors, they both took a deep breath then entered, ready to face what awaited them.

Please don't come at me with pitchforks and torches I really shouldn't have neglected this story. I'm so sorry, but it's alright! I'm back!

I'm ending this soon, but mention anything I might've missed or didn't explain so I can clarify before I wrap things.
