Chapter 11: Port Royal
Author's Note: I've been getting the vibe to make this, since playing Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on the Wii U has pirates involved in it. I'm going to put some Final Mix+ elements in this. Which means, anything that has been changed from Final Mix+ will be changed in this...Well, some things. And this world is exactly why Kingdom Hearts II got Mild Blood on the element rating, but still rated E+10, mainly for an Alcohol Reference in both versions.
I Do Not Own Digmon or Kingdom Hearts. This can contain content not suitable for younger audiences(Not including Kari and T.K.). Viewer Discretion is advised.
They've reached the next world. It had a pirate ship on it.
"Uh, I'm not so sure about that world." Mimi said.
"It's next on the world chart." Izzy said.
"Ah, phooey! This world's covered with darkness." Donald said.
"That means we have to go down there, and unlock the way." Kari said.
"Just be extra careful you two." Tai said. "I don't think they would want any other children wandering around that world, if there could be pirates."
"Okay." T.K. said.
"We'll watch out for them." Gatomon said. They got close enough with the Gummi Ship, and the four dropped into the world, with Kari shielding them with light.
Rampart
They landed, with no detection. They were walking to see where they were. They saw they were in some sort of area with cannons, a bell, and cells.
"This place looks...Normal for some reason." Kari said. They heard screaming off in the nearby town.
"Something's up!" T.K. said.
"Could it be Organization XIII?" Gatomon said.
"Or the heartless and Dark Digimon." Patamon said.
"Let's go see." Kari said.
Harbor
Pete was up to no good with a bunch of pirates.
"Aztec Treasure, eh?" Pete said.
"Aye. And thank's to the curse that's upon it, we're not upon the living, nor the dead." The captain said.
"Really?" Pete said. "You look like regular old pirates to me." Pete said.
"Ah, but the moonlight..." The captain started. The moonlight came out from the clouds, and the pirates revealed their skeletons, and their clothing was ripped.
"Whoa! I get what you're saying now." Pete said. "Well, if you see punks holding a keyblade, especially a little girl, steer clear."
"What harm does a little girl pose for us?" The captain said.
"They've got a magic that is not like this world, see?" Pete said. "Nobody knows what it could do to ya, even in the moonlight." The pirates were turned back to normal.
"Aye, a match for Barbossa you say?" The captain said, revealing his name.
"Hey Pete!" Kari yelled, running up to them.
"Whoa. They were right. There really are pirates here." T.K. said.
"Well, whatever you're up to Pete, just stop it now." Kari said, materializing her keyblade.
"Heh. Those are only four of the punks that poses a threat." Pete said.
"Punks?" T.K. said.
"It's Kari, T.K., Gatomon, and Patamon. And don't you forget it!" Kari said.
"That we won't." Barbossa said. "We could even engrave it on your tombstones."
"Okay, now that's a bit scary." T.K. said. "But, still standing here!"
"Men! Half of you engage with these cullies." Barbossa said. "The rest of you, find that medallion!"
"Aye!" The men yelled. Half went into town, while half fought against the quartet.
"Aw, only a few of you?" Gatomon said. Barbossa chuckled. Some pirates had crossbows, and shot arrows at them. They dodged them, but some scrapped past them. Kari was in a sword fight with another pirate, and managed to strike him, but it didn't even hurt him! That pirate kicked her back.
"Kari! You okay?" T.K. said, helping her up.
"Yeah. I don't get it." Kari said. "I hit that guy. Why isn't he hurt?"
"We can't beat them!" Gatomon said. "I could have sworn I gave them the kitten scratches a bunch of times."
"Aye, what do you expect?" One pirate said. The moonlight came out from the clouds, and they were exposed again. They gasped.
"Now THAT'S creepy." Gatomon said.
"It's like, we're seeing them dead." Kari said.
"Remember, stay away from their magic!" Pete said.
"What for?" Another pirate said.
"Didn't you listen?" Pete said.
"Hey Pete, remind me to thank you for the advise." Kari said. Pete whined.
"Let's go!" Patamon said. They then attacked them again, and they were actually dealing damage. The pirates tried to shoot them, but they returned fire, and started to cast magic on them. They then disappeared into nothing.
"Grr! This isn't over! Not by a long shot!" Pete said. He ran on the dock, away.
"Looks like we still have work to do." Kari said.
"And that captain looked pretty mean." T.K. said.
"I'd hate to see him as a heartless." Kari said. "You know, maybe we should take a pirate ship for a spin!"
"What!?" They all exclaimed. Kari giggled.
"Just kidding!" Kari said. "Anyway, weren't those guys headed toward the town?"
"They were looking for some sort of medallion." Gatomon said.
"Well, we'd better catch up to them, just in case." Patamon said.
Town
A woman was being carried away by a pirate. A man noticed her.
"Elizabeth!" The man yelled. "Stop!" He ran after them. He was soon stopped by shadows. "What!? What are these creatures?"
"Heartless!" Kari yelled behind him. The man looked behind him. "Get to safety!"
"Shouldn't I be telling that to you?" The man said. Kari materialized her keyblade.
"Trust me." Kari said. "We know all about these guys, and can fight." The man stared at her, as she stared at him. He nodded, and left them for the group. They took care of the shadows, which were stronger. Soon, there were heartless the shape of Mortars. They were dropping bombs all over them. They got hurt by a few, but were able to strike back. Soldiers came out as well, but they still didn't have any troubles. Soon, they took care of them all.
"Your sword skills are remarkable." The man said, as he walked from behind them.
"Yeah. It's been like that for a while." Kari said.
"Did you find your friend?" Gatomon said.
"I was too late." The man said. "But I must rescue her! You think you can help me?"
"Sure can!" T.K. said.
"I'm Kari." Kari said.
"T.K." T.K. said.
"Gatomon." Gatomon said.
"Patamon." Patamon said.
"And I'm William Turner, but call me Will." The man, named Will said.
"Okay, Will. You know where to go?" Kari said.
"The docks." Will said. "We must go!"
"Right!" Gatomon said. They left dashing for the docks.
Harbor
As soon as they reached the docks, they saw a ship taking off in the ocean.
"We're too late!" Will said. "Those Pirates kidnapped Miss Swann, and took her to their ship. Now that they sailed, we may never find her!"
"Then she's long gone. The black pearl is nigh uncatchable." A voice said. They saw another pirate on a ship. "Best find yourself a step wife, with those kids."
"Uh...I'm not his daughter." Kari said.
"And I'm not his son." T.K. said. The pirate went onto the ship.
"You...What are you doing on board the Interceptor?" Will said. "She's off limits to civilians."
"Ah, fortunate for me that I have to commander her then." The pirate said. "She'll make a fine pirate ship."
"Pirate!?" Kari said.
"Captain Jack Sparrow, if you please." The pirate said. Will was in thought for a little bit.
"Take me with you then." Will said. "Help me hunt down the Black Pearl, and save Miss Swann. I got you out of that jail cell Sparrow. Do this and your debts are repaid."
"You'll have to win her heart fair and square mate." Jack said. "I see no profit for me."
"Come on captain." Kari said.
"Can you sail her all on your own?" Will said.
"...You have a point there." Jack said. They then started to board the ship.
"Thank you, Sparrow." Will said.
"CAPTAIN Sparrow." Jack said. "And...Are you sure you children are able to be on a pirate ship, without ticking me off?"
"We're not that type of children." Kari said. "I'm Kari, and this is T.K., Gatomon, and Patamon."
"Those creatures look fairly mysterious to have as pets, if you ask me." Jack said.
"We get that a lot." Gatomon said.
"And they talk." Jack said. "Forget about that whole pet thing."
"And I'm Will Turner." Will said.
"No doubt named after your father, eh William?" Jack said.
"Yes." Will said.
"Well Mr. Turner, you get ready, I have some effects to liberate." Jack said.
"Aye-aye, but please hurry." Will said.
"Naturally." Jack said.
"Kari, you really want to be a pirate?" T.K. said.
"Nah, but it sure seems fun." Kari said. Jack gestured to her.
"What do you make of this Will?" Jack said.
"I don't know. We just met him." Kari said.
"Hmm...I think my luck's about to change." Jack said. Later, they got ready, and set sail for the Black Pearl.
The Interceptor
They were set sail on the Interceptor.
"Boy. Tai and the others might be surprised when we bring them on a pirate ship." Kari said.
"Aye, there are more of ye?" Jack said.
"Yeah, but they can help, and fight as well." Kari said.
"So ye can fight, with a sword?" Jack said.
"Yeah...well, it's a keyblade." T.K. said, materializing his keyblade.
"That's a nice looking piece of metal you hold there." Jack said.
"Yeah." Kari said. When Kari was about to go up to him, and show him her keyblade, a heartless appeared in between them. Then, a bunch of heartless appeared on the ship.
"It's an ambush!" Jack yelled.
"At this time!?" Gatomon said. The two keyblade wielders got ready to fight them. They started to slash at them. The Moltar heartless started to blast at them again. Kari activated Wisdom Form again, and started to shoot at them. There were then winged heartless, with a pirate look on them. Kari and Patamon began to shoot at them, while T.K. and Gatomon handled the ground enemies. Jack also helped the two of them.
"Hmm. Your sword skills are rather intriguing, yet mysterious." Jack said.
"We just kept on learning these skills as we fought more of these guys." T.K. said. He blocked an attack. Kari finished the rest of the heartless off.
"Whew! That takes care of that." Kari said. They then started to sail again, after the quick battle. Jack was looking at a compass as they were sailing.
"Why are you so fixated on that compass?" Will said.
"It'll be that she leads us to the Isla de Muerta, where Barbossa is headed. Savvy?" Jack said.
"How do you know?" Kari said. "There some secret treasure there?"
"Ah, lad..." Jack started as he closed the compass. "The Aztec gold. He and I are fixated at that treasure. 'Twas hidden on Isla de Muerta. But he turned traitor, and stole my ship."
"The Black Pearl, isn't it?" Gatomon said.
"Aye." Jack said.
"So, is he, like, after that treasure?" T.K. said.
"Treasure's already his." Jack said.
"Then, why does he want to go there again?" Kari said.
"He has the curse laid upon it." Jack said.
"A curse?" Kari said. "What is it?"
"Wait. Did it have to do with that undead thing?" T.K. said.
"What's important, is I will have back what is mine." Jack said. "The Black Pearl." Soon after that, they saw their destination, and docked at the nearest dockable rock.
Isla de Muerta: Rock Face
They docked.
"You lads wait here." Jack said. "Young Turner and I will save the maiden."
"But, what will we do!?" Kari said.
"You're to guard the ship of course." Jack said. "It's, erm, the bravest pirates task job."
"You think we're brave?" Kari said. "Alright."
"Guard her well." Jack said.
"Aye." Kari said. Will and Jack then ran towards where they were with the treasure. After a while...
"What could be keeping those two?" Gatomon said.
"They sure are taking their time." Patamon said.
"Let's go see where they could be." Kari said. They nodded. Just as they ran toward the cave, Kari saw a keyhole appear. "The Keyhole! Now it's time to call for backup!" She pointed the keyblade at it, and then, it shot out a beam of light into the sky.
World Map
The darkness disappeared around the world.
"Alright! Kari must have done it!" Sora said.
"Let's go down there." Matt said. They nodded, and started to land.
Isla De Muerta: Cave Mouth
Several Beams of light later, they were in some sort of cave.
"Guys!" Kari yelled.
"Kari!" Everyone yelled, as they went over there to see what's going on.
"So how was it?" Tai said. "Are there pirates here?"
"Well..." Kari started.
"Kari!" Will yelled, as he came back with Elizabeth, only. No Jack.
"Who's that?" Tai said.
"Are these the rest of your friends you told me about?" Will said. He looked behind him. "Never mind! They're after us!"
*Vim and Vigor*
They were being chased by pirates.
"Whoa! Pirates!" Sora yelled.
"There really are pirates here!" Tai said.
"Give us a sign once you're ready with the ship." Gatomon said. "We'll hold them off!"
"Right. Signal Fire it is." Will said.
"We're actually going to be on a pirate ship!?" Sora said, excited.
"Sora. Are you thinking about being a pirate?" Tai said.
"Of course not. But think about how exciting it is." Sora said. The pirates then got ready to fight them. Kari looked for places where the moonlight shined through. There were a few large places.
"Guys! Get them on the moon light!" Kari said.
"Why?" Agumon said.
"They can be defeated under the moonlight. Other than that, they're basically invincible." Gatomon said. The pirates then charged through moonlight.
"Whoa! That is really freaky!" Joe said.
"I see what you mean." Izzy said. One of the pirates started to shoot at them with the crossbow. They dodged the arrows.
"And they're armed with crossbows!" Sor yelled.
"Let's get them!" Donald yelled. They got their weapons out.
01'00"00
They lured them towards the moonlight, where they started their attacks. Kari got knocked back pretty far when one pirate tried to slash at her. She got up, and was backshuffling, dodging a pirate's slashes. After that, she High Countered the pirate, and he was knocked back. T.K., Tai, and Matt Returned Fire from the crossbows, and slashed back.

Donald, Joe, Sor, and Sora kept casting Thunder on the pirates, until they had no more MP. They also slashed at them. Mimi, Izzy, and Goofy kept on doing sneak attacks on the pirates when they were being slashed by the rest of the group.
00'30"00
The Digimon went in for attacks as well. The pirates couldn't keep up with their speed, and their moves. Soon, most of them are gone. Unfortunately, more pirates came. Even more than before!
"Oh boy. Not good." Joe said.
"We still have to hold them off, until Will is ready for takeoff." T.K. said. They dodge all of them, while attacking back. Soon, there were pirates occupying the shadows, and were invincible.

The moonlight got covered by clouds, and they couldn't damage them anymore.
"REALLY not good!" Joe said.
"Just a few more seconds!" Kari said. "I hope." They kept guarding their attacks. Kari got knocked down, and had a sword pointed at her head. T.K. knocked the pirate off, and pulled Kari up.

"Thanks T.K." Kari said.
00'01"99 2!
"No problem" T.K. said. They saw one more impending pirate coming for them. One speck of moonlight shined on him.

They both slashed at the pirate at the same time, and he was defeated.
00'00"00!
They saw smoke rising up from the pirate ship.
"Look! That must be the signal!" Biyomon yelled.
"Let's get out of here!" Tai said. The group pushed the group of pirates down, and ran towards the ship.
*Music Ends*
Isla De Muerta: Rock Face
They were panting on the ship, and looked behind them.
"I think they gave up." Matt said.
"Whew!" Kari said, sitting down. Then she looked around. "Where's Jack?"
"Er, well..." Will started. It was flashbacked to the room where the treasure of the island was.
Isla De Muerta: Treasure Heap
Jack and Will were spying on the pirate crew through an opening behind a wall in the Treasure Heap. They were all cheering when they THOUGHT they have curse breaker. There were loads of treasure all around the area, with one big chest filled with medallions, 882 to be exact, with pirate symbols in the middle of them.
"Every last piece that went astray we have returned, save for this!" Barbossa yelled. "And now, we have the blood to lift this curse from us, forever!" Will was about to go ahead, and get Elizabeth back, but Jack stopped him.
"No! Not yet." Jack whispered. "We wait for the moment of opportunity."
"When it's of great profit for you?" Will said.
"May I ask you something?" Jack said. "Have I ever given you a reason not to trust me? Stay here, and don't do anything reckless." Jack gestured to be quiet, and started to slowly go for the pirates, but he was hit in the head by something. He fell down. Will knocked him in the head with an oar. Barbossa got the medallion, and made Elizabeth hold it. He tighten her grip, until her hand started to bleed(Final Mix+ had the blood covering the whole medallion. This is what I mean by Mild Blood).
"Begun by blood...By blood undone." Barbossa said, making her loosen the grip, and dropping the medallion in the chest of medallions. They were waiting for the curse to be lifted from them, however, they felt no change. He sharply turned back to Elizabeth. "You! Maid! Was your father William Turner!? Answer me!"
"No." Elizabeth said. They were shocked, and Barbossa knocked her down the platform.
"What's going on!?" Pirate 1 yelled.
"Who brought this wench to us!?" Pirate 2 yelled.
"She said her name was Turner!" Pirate 3 yelled. Soon there were rapid conversation. The medallion covered in blood fell near Elizabeth. She grabbed it, and got grabbed by Will.
"Come on!" Will said. They ran out of there, not caring if they've been spotted.
"You there!" Barbossa yelled. He noticed they have the medallion. "The medallion! Get them!"
Isla De Muerta: Rock Face
"I had to. Jack was no fairy tale pirate." Will said. "Real ones aren't to be trusted."
"Well, first things first, we should head back, and think over what to do next." Sora said.
"They'll be after us for stealing the medallion back from them." Kari said.
"We should at least get some distance away from this place before they come searching for us." Izzy said. They nodded, and sailed off into the seven seas.
The Interceptor
They set sail for Port Royal again. Will and Elizabeth was talking to each other.
"Is it true?" Will said. "You gave Barbossa my name instead of yours? Why chose that?"
"I don't know." Elizabeth said.
"Elizabeth...where did you get that?" Will said.
"It's your medallion." Elizabeth said. "I found it with you when we found you drifting off in the sea."
"After all this time, I thought I lost that." Will said. "It was a gift from my father...he sent it to me." Elizabeth gave it back.
"I'm sorry." Elizabeth said.
"Why did you take it?" Will said.
"Because, I didn't want to believe you were a pirate." Elizabeth said. "It would have been awful."
"Of course." Will said. "Don't you see? It wasn't your blood that was supposed to lift the curse...It was mine, my father's blood. The blood...of a pirate."
The Black Pearl
"How in blazes did you get off that island Jack?" Barbossa said.
"When you sailed away on my ship, and marooned me on that godforsaken island spit of land, with naught but a pistol of protection, equipped with a single shot, you forgot 1 very important thing, mate." Jack started. "I am Captain Jack Sparrow."
"Hmph. I won't be making that mistake ever again." Barbossa said.
"Then what you say put that past behind us, untie a fellow pirate, and letting me negotiate the return of your medallion, eh?" Jack said.
"Seeing how this Black Pearl is mine now, Jack, letting you go doesn't seem to be much of an option right now, in my interest." Barbossa said.
"Odd. I couldn't care less for YOUR INTEREST." Jack said. "Give me back the Black Pearl!"
"Lock him in the brig!" Barbossa said.
"Captain! We're catching up on the Interceptor!" One pirate said. "Your orders?"
"Whaddya think you idiot?" Barbossa said.
The Interceptor
"I like this telescope." Kari said, looking through it. "I can see other islands with this. Or maybe the Black Pearl behind us...BLACK PEARL!?"
"They caught up to us!" Tai said.
"What now?" Donald said.
"What would Jack do?" Gatomon said.
"I'm not sure." Will said. "I suppose...he'd run for it."
"Sounds good in my to-" Joe started, before they got blasted by a cannon. They all got knocked down. Will fell overboard, and was hanging on to the ledge.
"Will!" Elizabeth yelled.
"Brace yourselves!" Tai yelled. Kari saw that Will dropped the medallion. She picked it up.
"We just going to have to fight!" Kari said.
"Right! We should turn course to the ship." Tai said. He took over, and turned to head for the Black Pearl.
"Remember! Wherever the moonlight shines, the pirates will be vulnerable under it." Izzy said. The pirates came over the ship, and saw that Kari had the medallion with her. They locked their focus on her.
"Uh-oh. I think they're looking for the medallion." Kari said.
"Guys! Protect Kari! She has the medallion!" Tai said. "Kari, if there's trouble, pass the medallion off to one of us, okay?"
"Okay." Kari replied. The gang started to slash at the pirates. Kari banged on one of the cannons, and shot at the Black Pearl. Kari got knocked away, causing the medallion to be dropped. One of the pirates was about to take it, but T.K. slashed him, and got it back. He guarded against one, and slashed through him. He disappeared in a smoke of dust. They continued to cast magic on all of them, and continued to blast the Black Pearl. One pirate threw a bomb at them, which exploded. Attempting to grab the medallion again, one pirate was defeated by Mimi, and she got the medallion back. Soon, the Black Pearl was shooting cannons at them, as they fell on them. They were dodging all of them. Mimi was blown back by one of the aftershocks, letting go of the medallion, but Sora got it back. Kari was pushing on one last pirate, in the shadows. She pushed him into the moonlight, and finished him off. They saw no more.
"Whew! We took care of an entire crew!" Tai yelled.
"Oh, did you now?" Barbossa said, from behind them.
"Jack! Elizabeth!" Kari yelled.
"Now then, I'll be having back that medallion." Barbossa said. "Unless it's most important than their lives?"
"Barbossa!" Will yelled, with a gun pointed at him. "Let her go free!"
"Go ahead boy." Barbossa said. "Shoot! We cannot die."
"You can't..." Will said. He sighed. "But I can. My name is William Turner. My father was Bootstrap Bill Turner! His blood runs in my veins!" Barbossa gasped. "Follow my orders, or I'll let the trigger go, and I'll be lost within Davy Jones' Locker!" He had the gun pointed at his head.
"Name your terms, Mr. Turner." Barbossa said.
"Let Elizabeth go, and Kari and Her friends!" Will said.
"Anything else?" Barbossa said. Jack was gesturing to let him go too.
"Leave, now!" Will said.
"Agree. We'll leave..." Barbossa started. "But the heartless stays!" Pete knocked Will in the head, and he grabbed him.
"Will!" Kari yelled. "No fair!" The pirates then started to grab them, and tie them up.
The Interceptor: Ship's Hold
The group was all tied up in the hold.
"I can't believe we got ourselves in this." Gatomon said.
"Remind me to never ever trust a pirate ever again." Agumon said.
"I can't believe we got captured by a bonehead like Pete." Tai said.
"Oh ho! You've done it again." Pete said. "Seeing you blown to Smithereens will satisfy my anger...Although, I think we should take the Princess of Heart with us."
"Why her?" Barbossa said.
"Didn't you hear me?" Pete said. "Maleficent is looking forward to her heart, not the one with the blood in all. Let's just say, it's a spiritual heart. She's special with that, and the heartless is looking for that."
"Well, it could be the least we can do, for getting the medallion back I suppose." Barbossa said. Pete grabbed Kari, and started out.
"Hey! Let me go!" Kari called out.
"Kari! Nobody grabs my sister like that!" Tai yelled.
"I...Need to go after them!" T.K. said, struggling. Gatomon actually got out of the ropes. "Huh?"
"Claws. Remember?" Gatomon said. She got T.K. out. He snuck up toward the closed door.
"The powder kegs are ready sir." One pirate said.
"Aye. We'll be taking our leave them." Barbossa said. T.K. took a peak outside, and saw the crossing over to the Black Pearl. It was taking off. He rammed through the door, and jumped over to the ship's edge. He was hanging on to it(Sorta Assassin's Creed IV style), and was heading over to wherever the ship was going. The rest of them got out, and saw T.K. taking off.
"T.K.! What are you doing!?" Matt yelled.
"I need to rescue Kari!" T.K. yelled. "I'll meet you at the island!"
"Matt! Help us get rid of these kegs!" Tai yelled, while attacking heartless, and Sora was trying to knock the kegs out of the boat. Matt turned back, and then at his young brother.
"Okay! Be careful!" Matt yelled. T.K. nodded, and was hanging on, while the rest of the group was fighting the heartless, and trying to get rid of the kegs.
Isla De Muerta: Rock Face
The ship docked, and T.K. overheard a conversation.
"I'll stay here, and wait for Maleficent." Pete said. "She should be coming soon. After that, if by possibility they get free, I'll be here to stay."
"But we do not need any help however." Barbossa said, having Will in custody. "It is not possible that they got out of being blasted undersea." Kari was looking down.
"See that?" Pete said. "You escaped us last time, but there is no escape this time."
"Men! Follow me to the end of the curse!" Barbossa yelled, as the crew left to the Treasure Hold.
"You're wrong Pete!" Kari said. "My friends must have gotten out of your trap."
"Well, yes. Stubborn crew you have." Pete said. "But that's why Maleficent is coming here to pick you up, before your friends even come here! So say goodbye to your friends, cause when they meet you, you'll be a host without a heart!" T.K. pushed Pete in the Captain's Quarters, then locked him in.
"That's what you think Pete!" T.K. yelled.
"T.K.!" Kari yelled. T.K. got her free. She hugged him. "Thank you so much! How's the gang?"
"They got it covered." T.K. said.
"Ohhh! You never give up on her, do ya!?" Pete said.
"Of course not!" T.K. said. "I'm connected to her the most, and I need to make sure, it stays that way! Now, if you need us, we're going to save Will." They left to go save Will.
LATER
"Pete. Where is the eighth Princess of Heart?" Maleficent said, appearing in the Captain's Quarters.
"Oh, uh, well, there's a bit of a problem with that." Pete said.
Isla De Muerta: Cave Mouth
"Thanks back there T.K." Kari said.
"Don't mention it." T.K. said. "I'm always happen to help my girlfriend...I MEAN, my best friend!" Kari blushed and giggled.
"It's okay." Kari said. "It's funny. All this time, and we never had anytime for relationship time."
"Maybe, because, everyone is always keeping an eye on us?" T.K. said.
"We shouldn't really care what people think." Kari said. "Tai and the others know we have feelings."
"Yeah, but I don't know when's the right time." T.K. said. "When we do, heartless and nobodies always appear, interrupting us."
"Well, maybe, now?" Kari said. They were holding hands, and was thinking of a kiss. But as soon as they were nearing each other's lips, pirates started to charge at them. "Ugh. Seriously!?"
"This is exactly what I mean!" T.K. said.
"We really don't have time anyway. We need to save Will, before they lift the curse, and before Pete comes after us." Kari said.
"Right!" T.K. said. They ran past the pirates, dodging all of the slashes, and the shots.
Isla De Muerta: Powder Store - Treasure Hold
They were going to initiate breaking the curse again.
"Now, let's be trying this again." Barbossa said. "The Aztec treasure will not have us in it's grips of the retched curse anymore. The blood that will free us from the curse forever!" He had a dagger pointed at Will. "This time for sure!" They were all cheering, but their celebration had to be stopped there, as Kari and T.K. walked into the hold.
"Ahoy! Treasure, mateys!" T.K. yelled.
"Not possible." Barbossa said.
"Well, T.K.'s alive, I'm still here, and we're pirates!" Kari said.
"Don't forget us little sister!" Tai called out, as the group ran into the hold.
"Tai!" Kari said.
"One big mistake you made, was underestimating us." Matt said.
"A mistake you've again made." Jack said. "Captain Jack Sparrow!"
"Sora!"
"Donald Duck!"
"Goofy!"
"Kari!"
"T.K.!"
"Tai!"
"Matt!"
"Sora, or Sor!"
"Izzy!"
"Mimi!"
"Joe!"
"Gatomon!"
"Patamon!"
"Agumon!"
"Gabumon!"
"Biyomon!"
"Tentomon!"
"Palmon!"
"And Gomamon!"
"So you all want to play pirate?" Barbossa said. "Best save the playacting for the nursery. After them!"
Approximately, 60 seconds later
Kari slashed the last pirate.
"That was too easy!" Kari said. "Seem's pretty easy with all of us."
"You said it." Gatomon said. "Not to mention we took out most of his crew back on the Interceptor."
"Thank you, Kari." Will said.
"Uh, where's Jack?" Goofy said. They saw Jack dueling with Barbossa.
"Get him Jack!" Kari yelled. Jack got distracted by her yelling, and missed a slash, and got stabbed. "*Gasp* JACK!"
"You're a fool, Jack Sparrow." Barbossa said. Kari knocked him out of her way, and went over to Jack, who was stumbling back.
"Jack! Oh no! What have I done!?" Kari yelled.
"Don't be down on yourself." Jack said. He stepped back to the moonlight, and he was revealed to be cursed. He was inspecting himself. He was twittling a medallion with his boney fingers. Kari looked at the chest and back.
"You took a medallion?" Kari said, annoyed with Jack being so greedy, that he took a medallion from the chest, and took in the curse, though relieved that Jack's still with them.
"Pete! Show yourself!" Barbossa called out.
"See. I knew you need my help!" Pete said, with Maleficent behind him.
"Do not come back empty handed. I want that Princess." Maleficent said.
"Too bad Maleficent!" Kari said. "I'm not going with you today!"
"Maybe with this, you might!" Pete said. He whistled for something.
*Vim and Vigor*
Something was crawling on the walls. It jumped near Barbossa. It's eyes glowed.
"Okay, what in the world is that?" Joe said. Balls of fire was hovering over it, and then it became dark.
"Now I get it!" Izzy said. "If it's dark, Barbossa can attack us, while we can't attack him!"
"Not for long!" Kari said. "Goofy. You can toss your shield, right?"
"Sure can!" Goofy said. He tossed his shield at the glowing eyes. It was stunned for a moment, and can't move. Kari then slashed at it, and then it became light again. Barbossa's revealed.
"Enjoy a taste of this!" Barbossa yelled. He started to slash at everyone, but Kari landed on his blade. Barbossa then slipped out a pistol, but Kari saw it coming. She slashed up, just in time to counter. Heartless then appeared all over the group. The group then started to attack them all. Tai and Kari landed a sweet double slash move on Barbossa. So did Matt and T.K.. Barbossa threw out bombs at everyone. They managed to dodge them without too much damage. The Digimon then started to combine efforts straight for the heartless, and Barbossa. Another one of the heartless that made it dark came out, and made it dark. They couldn't see a thing. Even each other! They followed the glowing eyes, and started to strike it. Barbossa slashed at Kari unexpectedly. She got knocked down, and had a sword pointed to her head. Though, she tripped Barbossa, and slashed back. She still couldn't see anything in the dark. The group then finally caught up to the strange heartless, and struck it down.
"Time to show you the true light inside of everything!" Kari yelled. Her and T.K. activated their Limit again, and began to strike Barbossa down. Now, their finishing move was different. They stuck their keyblades into the ground beneath them, and then intense burning light pounded on the rest of the heartless and Barbossa, through a circle of light around them.
*Music Ends*
Pete was backing up.
"You little brats!" Maleficent said.
"What? Not an easy person to admit defeat so easily?" Kari said.
"Argh! This ain't over!" Pete yelled. They then went out of there. Jack and Barbossa was in another face off.
"Right. Care to surrender Barbossa?" Jack said. Barbossa was having a hard time getting up.
"Doesn't he ever give up?" Agumon said.
"Well, I guess this should end right now." Kari said, grabbing the missing medallion from her pocket. Jack noticed that. "I guess..."
"This is a draw." Jack said, grabbing a gun out. Kari threw the medallion out. Jack fired(For some reason, the gun looked like it fired, and missed in the cutscene). Barbossa was laughing.
"Laugh all you can Barbossa!" Will said. He had a knife in his hand, and then threw the medallion with his real blood on it, in the chest. Barbossa then started to grab his chest, as he felt the gun shot.
"...I feel...cold." Barbossa said, quietly. He then dropped dead on the ground. Silence was in the room.
"Then, I guess it's the end of the curse, and Barbossa." Tai said.
Isla De Muerta: Rock Face
They were walking back to the two ships.
"What now Jack?" Will said.
"Wherever I want." Jack said. "The Black Pearl's mine again."
"That she is." Will said. "Thank you, Jack." He went for a hand shake, but Jack took cover.
"I didn't want ye hitting me again, mate." Jack said.
"Hey Jack. Good luck out there." Kari said.
"And remember to be good." Donald said.
"Right then. I'm off." Jack said. Elizabeth was walking towards them, kinda fast.
"Will!" Elizabeth yelled. Jack thought she was friendly hugging him, but went past him, and hugged Will.
"Good for them." Kari said.
"Uh-huh." Gatomon said.
"Hey Kari. Why's your face is all red?" Goofy said.
"What!? It is not red!" Kari exclaimed, covering her face.
"Sora's doing the same thing." Sor said.
"Am not!" Sora exclaimed.
"Aww, I know what you two are thinking about." Donald said. They all started to chuckle. Jack's compass was shining, and then rose above. The same procedure goes: Kari unlocking the keyhole to other worlds.
"You know, I thought Donald would be lost in the curse of the treasure." Sora said.
"Me too." Kari said.
"What!?" Donald exclaimed. They all laughed, and headed back to the Gummi Ship.
