The New Pony
Chapter 13 (Evil Side)
Thunder got a text message from Luna, the time was 11:30pm as he flew his way to the location of where he was supposed to meet Celestia for the changeling camp "elimination". Thunder landed on a grassy hilltop, a pillar of smoke in the distance indicating a fire was ahead, at least 75 meters. "Psst." Thunder heard, and looked to his left. Thunder saw a pile of grass, a ghillie suited stallion. "Your the guy Celestia sent? Hmph, figures. You've got the looks." the ghillie suited stallion said, "What's that supposed to mean?" Thunder asked, "You should take it as a compliment, cupcake." the stallion said with a slight chuckle to his voice. "My squad is located on the oppisite side of the hills across from us. We're ready to move in at any time. They're awaiting orders at any moment from you." the ghillied soldier said. Thunder rolls his eyes "Since when did the royal army become so tactical?" Thunder thought to himself as he pulls out a pair binoculars that Luna said would come in handy, she always made him carry around this junk, compass, map, even a flashlight despite Thunder's power of electricity. Thunder spotted four, no five changelings. Possibly more inside the small huts and tents of the camp. "I'm going to need your troops to circle around the camp, don't do anything unless they try escaping, and don't kill them. We're going to need them alive. The better their condition, the better they'll last in giving us more answers." Thunder said, trying to give him a grim look like he's serious, "Roger that." the ghillie suited pony begins signaling his squad around the camp, "At least they don't have walkie talkies. That would be a bit scary." Thunder then began sneaking through shrubbery, and he sneaks between two changelings wielding spears. He grabs both of them, and wraps his arms around their necks, choking them, and then knocking them out. Thunder hides behind one of the huts and holds out his hands, "Let's hope this trick will work." Thunder's electricity pulses into his hands, red and crackling, he then throws them out into the middle, a changeling letting out a cry of surprise, and a explosion is heard, wires or tendons stretching out around the camp. Changelings inside the huts let out cries and began charging out, Thunder comes from out behind the hut, runs, and jump kicks two in the face, knocking them straight out, three changelings turn around to see Thunder, and they let out battle cries as they charge him. Thunder dodges their attacks successfully, keeping Luna's plan in his head as well, and presses his palms against their chests rapidly, and dashes through them. The changelings then fall over, paralyzed. He looks around, searching if their are anymore targets, and then he hears it. A crying, muffled as if trying to hide. He walks towards the hut with the muffled crying, and opens the cloth covered doorway. Inside the hut is a mother, cuddling a small child close to her, the child's eyes wide open, scared and terrified of what the big, red, and electricity wielding stallion would do to them. He simply raised a finger to his lips, giving them the "Be quiet, it'll be okay." look, and walked away. The squad of stallions walked into the camp, checking the other huts, and around the area, "Wow, you gave them hell. Say, what were those two balls you threw into the center of the camp for?" The leader asked. Thunder then points to two other changelings, wrapped and gagged in his electricity, but they aren't being harmed. "Wow, that's pretty cool." the ghillied stallion said, and went off with his buisness. Thunder then took off, flying to the caslte, and hoping Luna's plan was going to be correct, god knows what they would do to that child... Thunder shook his head in frustration, and continued flying. He couldn't afford to be weak if he was going to kill Celestia and rule Equestria. Thunder landed on the balcony to Luna's room, and walked in. "I assume the plan went well?" Luna asked, "Yes. I didn't kill a single one." Thunder said with a slight sigh afterwards, "Good, my sister would like to talk to you. I believe you've earned her trust for now. Be wise and keep her on your side." Luna said, giving Thunder a "Don't fuck this up." glare. "Yeah, yeah." Thunder said, rolling his eyes as he pushed open Luna's chamber doors open, and began walking down the main hall. Two guards spot Thunder walking towards Celestia's chambers, and they begin whispering to each other, Thunder over hearing something about him. Thunder knocks on Celestia's chamber doors. "Enter." the princesses voice rang out from behind the door. Thunder opened the door, and saw Celestia's room. He almost gagged as he saw the room. Drapes with a light purple like the rising sun over her windows, and the doorway to her balcony, her bed covered with a white sheet, and her royal emblem in the middle of her bed, nice and neat. "I've gained word that the mission was a success, and you haven't killed a single one." Celestia said, sitting at a small table near the window, and she waved her hand to a second chair, "Please. Sit. I wish to know more about you." Celestia said, a kind smile on her face as Thunder took a seat. "Now, why'd you keep the changelings alive?" Celestia asked, "I simply wanted to keep them alive because they could hold more answers to where other changeling camps could be." Thunder said, keeping a straight face. "I see. Your not the brute I imagined you were." Celestia said, smiling still, and she chuckles softly, "How'd you get to meet my sister anyhow? I didn't see your name anywhere in the soldier registration lists. I know my sister wouldn't have just simply picked a random citizen off the streets, but then again, I could be wrong. Your quite the warrior, and those powers, where did you get them?" Celestia said, her look just explained how many questions she had. Thunder began to sweat, what would he say? "No your sister picked me to kill you and take Equestria." Oh god, he was running out of options. "Princess Luna simply saw me under her care of dreams, and saw how much of a loyal person I was. She saw my dreams of how I wanted to protect and serve Equestria no matter the cost, and second, I'm an S ranked vampire, your sister didn't wish to tell you cause she feared it would worry you, but I assure you I haven't harmed Luna in any way possible. That would be against my duty." Thunder said, almost throwing up from the first things he said, "I see. Well, I have no quarrel with you unless you are defintely a threat to my sister or Equestria, and I have faith in my sister's picking of you as her royal guard and assistant." Celestia says with a sigh as she looks at the moon setting, "Tell me Thunder, how'd you agree to become Luna's guard? You weren't afraid of Luna after her incident of Nightmare Moon like most ponies." Celestia said. "Actually, I don't really mind that. She was just feeling alone, and she felt as if she wasn't doing enough for her kingdom, and also the jealousy of others enjoying the morning more than night, and if this doesn't offend you, majesty. I prefer the night more better than day." Thunder said, staring her in the eyes. "Oh it's no bother at all. Everyone is titled to their opinions." She said, not seeming to be offended at all, "Oh well, you may be on your way, and I will trust you enough to watch over my sister." Celestia says, turning to the balcony. "I will with my life, your majesty." Thunder bows, and begins walking out the room. "If I have to bow one more time to that bitch, I'll be killing her for sure." Thunder said in his mind as he stormed off to Luna's room.
