Chapter 20: Tale of the Dragon

The last vile was poured out. The only one left...

The Dragon. They watched as an island infested with dragons appeared. They zoomed into a single house, where a man and woman sat. The woman held a scrawny baby boy in her hands. He hsd auburn-brown hair, freckled covered skin, and forest green eyes.

"Oh, Stoick..." the woman smiled, "I want to name him Hiccup..." Stoick smiled as he planted a kiss on his wife's temple, Hiccup, as the baby was dubbed, closed an eye and giggled. His parents laughed as he did. The scene faded and the Professors were soon watching as Val, as the woman was called, held Hiccup infront of a baby Night Fury she found abandoned in the forest.

"Go on Hiccup..." She cooed, "say hi to the nice dragon..."

Hiccup let out a small giggle and smiled a gummy smile.

The baby Night Fury mimicked his smile exactly, getting Val to laugh, and Hiccup to reach out to him. Val stepped closer to the dragon. He sniffed at Hiccup's hand.

They smelled like fish!

YAY!

HE LOVES FISH!

The baby Night Fury placed his head against Hiccup's chest and the baby boy wrapped his arms around his head. Val smiled as Stoick, her husband, walked over. He raised an eyebrow in surprise, but made no comment what so ever about it.

A few years went by, and Hiccup could finally walk and talk.

He had dubbed the baby Night Fury, who was also growing up, Toothless, ironically, because he thought he was actually TOOTHLESS.

That year, wasn't the best for the Isle of Berk. That year, they were invaded by Berserkers. Val and Stoick fought valiantly.

Eventually, Val hoped onto a dragon and flew after the armada that was arriving. The war ended eventually, but when it did, Val disappeared.

Stoick was devastated. He could barely look at Hiccup, he reminded him too much of Val. He eventually ended up pushing Hiccup away. He didn't even know how to react, when Hiccup got accepted into Hogwarts.
