Hello! Sorry this chapter is late. I've been busy with work, family, and playing Persona 4 and lots of MTG. It also didn't help that I've had to rewrite this chapter a few times due to me having to restart my phone and the file getting corrupted. So this chapter might not be as good as the others. On the bright side, I got an idea for another DxD story. I'm still planning it out, but will hopefully have the first chpater up bwfore the end of this month.
To TheSoulessGhost, Koneko FTW! To EvenIDonNotKnowWhoIAm, it does seem impossible for them to tame Viktor. They'll need all the luck they can get. To Guest, they'll show up later and it will not be a good first meeting with any of them. Subject 001-Z will be explained more in this chapter.
To the other Guests and Sennybee98, thanks for the ideas for Viktor's next form. It's still in the works and I'll study both the Berserker's to see how it'll affect it. As for those groups siding with, maybe. Seeing how Persona and Mirai Nikki are already integrated into the story, adding another thing might be too much, so I'll think about it.
Also, Viktor's forms will have a Balance Breaker. The Balance Breaker from Chapter 9 is for his Slender Man form mixed with Boosted Gear. His second form, Herr de Albaträume, will have its own Balance Breaker. As for Juggernaut Drive, yes but not until later.
Alright, so this is still with the P-HDAS, so don't expect Viktor to be involved a lot in this chapter. Let's start!

It was late in the afternoon when Raynare woke up for the third time that week. It wasn't that long since she first woke up from her temporary coma, though she was still too weak to do anything other than sleep. The wounds she received when fighting Viktor still hurt, the scars serving as a reminder of almost being ripped to shreds. In fact, the only thing that was constantly on her mind was that moment when Viktor held her with his tendrils, ready to rip her into four separate parts. She owed those Devils though, for if they hadn't intervened, she would most likely not be here.
Raynare looked around the small she was in, her throat parched from a lack of water. She sat up, a dull burning sensation spreading throughout her body due to her wounds. Letting out a sigh, Raynare got of the bed, almost falling. Her legs were trembling from the lack of use. Still, she needed to get up for various reasons. The most important was to meet with Azazel and let him know about what happened when she met Viktor. She didn't trust him, feeling only fear. The times she did wake up, one of the members of her group would be there, explaining what had happened and how Viktor was taking care of them. Raynare didn't believe them, wanting to leave and meet with Azazel.
Once her legs stopped trembling too much, Raynare looked around the room, looking for clothes. She hoped Azazel wasn't mad or disappointed in what happened. Kokabiel did give them the order to kill Viktor, so maybe he'd understand. At least, she hoped.
Aigis was sitting in a chair inside an empty, white room, looking at her wrists. Attached to them were drum magazines filled with bullets, ready to be fired from her silver fingertips. Standing across from her was Subject 001-Z, its red eye staring at her, mouth slightly open. In fact, all it has been doing for the past hour and a half was stand there perfectly still, like a statue, just watching her, the scar running diagonally across its face open and revealing its sharp teeth. It disgusted her. Even if she was just an android, she knew she was more human in both thought and appearance than it.
"Please stop staring at me," Aigis quietly said to Subject 001-Z, still looking at her wrists. After a few seconds, she looked up at it, hoping it had stopped. Subject 001-Z continued to stare at her, its inky response that it had acknowledged her request was it was closer than before, the scar opening up even more. Gasping in surprise, Aigis quickly looked away, instead turning her attention towards the only door in the room.
'Please hurry up.' Aigis thought. Baumgartner had left her and Subject 001-Z in this room, his on my explanation being that he was going to bring someone that would help them on their mission. Though she thinks she hates him, since hate is still a new emotion to her, Aigis wanted him to hurry up so that she wouldn't have to stay in the same room as Subject 001-Z. The sound of chains being dragged across the floor made her look up once more. Now standing in front of her was Subject 001-Z, its arm outstretched, as if it was trying to grab her.
"Stop!", Aigis sternly said, now standing up. She needs to get ad far away as she could from it, but how could she when the room was the size of a small bedroom? Aigis was starting to panic, aiming her fingers at it, prepared to shoot it if necessary. Subject 001-Z continued to stare at her. "Do not make me use lethal force against you!" Subject 001-Z either couldn't comprehend what Aigis was saying or it didn't care. It just took a few steps towards her. "Fine!" Aigis, now at her limit, was prepared to shoot, not caring that even though she was created for combat, this thing would most likely destroy her with ease.
"Well, it's nice to see you both getting along." Looking towards the door, Aigis and Subject 001-Z saw Baumgartner standing there, a smug grin on his face. "Now, we're running a little late and have to get started soon, so please follow me," Baumgartner ordered, walking out the room. Aigis and Subject 001-Z looked back towards each other before Aigis quickly left.
Baumgartner had led Aigis and Subject 001-Z to what appeared to be a debriefing room. There were various chairs and tables with paper on them, one of the walls covered with charts, maps, and blueprints. Standing in front of the wall, looking at the charts, was what appeared to be a little girl wearing a tattered, dark purple dress. The design of it was hard to make out due to the amount of dirt, grim, and dark stains. Around the waist was a torn ribbon that hung loosely. Her matted and unkempt hair reached past her shoulders, pieces of filth clinging to it.
"The Boss and I have been discussing how the mission should go. Considering the fact that the Kirijo Group is located on Tatsumi Port Island, a place they practically own, no doubt there will be lots of guards that'll quickly respond once you guys start attacking. In order to be more successful in killing Takeharu Kirijo, we decided to let Subject 285-K join you," Baumgartner explained, looking towards the little girl. Aigis, feeling worried for the condition the girl was in, walked towards her. Subject 001-Z just stood there.
"Are you alright?", Aigis asked the little girl. The girl turned around, her appearance catching Aigis by surprise. The girl had heterochromatic eyes, the left blue and the right a dull green. There were scars covering her face and limbs, as well as parts of her skin being different color. Her fingers also seemed mismatched, some longer than the others.
"I've never felt better. I'm Subject 285-K. Who are you?", Subject 285-K asked, looking straight into Aigis's bright blue eyes. She gave Aigis a smile, tilting her head slightly in curiosity.
"I am Aigis, a combat android created by the Kirijo Group."
"So you know more about them than we do. Tell me, have you seen anybody with a strong, healthy body there?", Subject 285-K questioned excitedly. The way she asked worried Aigis.
"Why are you fascinated in the bodies of others?"
"Well, my parts are starting to get weaker, even decay. I need new ones. It's fine if you don't remember. I'll check myself once we get there," she said nonchalantly, ignoring Aigis's confused and scared look.
"Let me explain what she means by that. You see, Subject 285-K has an older brother, Subject 139-K. We've preformed some tests that have been useful and successful. Seeing how she shares the same blood, we decide to perform those same tests, only to be net with failure. Subject 285-K started to slowly die, all of her organs decaying over time. This was 4 years ago. She's 10 now. Everything you see about her isn't her. All of her organs have decayed in a span of 3 months to almost a year, depending on the organ. Luckily, her brain is still good, though is also decaying. All of the organs and limbs she has now are from 'donors'," Baumgartner explained.
"Yeah. Bottom line is I'm going to die once my brain goes. I don't really care though," Subject 285-K added, looking once more at the charts and maps of Tatsumi Port Island and the Kirijo building.
"But how can you be okay with this!? It's their fault for sentencing you to your demise, yet you do nothing!? Why?", Aigis exclaimed. Everything that's happening right now was going against what she learned while being with the Kirijo Group. They preformed experiments on their own kind instead of technology, they didn't care what happened to them, and they sought to kill anyone that stood in their way. She couldn't and didn't want to process this, or else it would influence how she thought.
"There's no point. I'm going to die, so might as well have a little fun before I do. Now, Mr. Baumgartner, how are we going to do this?"
"Easy. Seeing how they already know Aigis, considering they're the one's that built her, she'll infiltrate the main building. You and Subject 001-Z will go around killing any and all guards, making sure no one notices. If you get spotted, then just go ahead and go all out. Just make sure Aigis is able to kill Takeharu Kirijo and his daughter Mitsuru Kirijo. In all honesty, The Boss and I don't care how you do it as long as you kill those two. This was just a suggestion," Baumgartner said. Subject 285-K nodded while Subject 001-Z stood still, staring at him with its red eye. As for Aigis, it looked like she didn't want to be here and do what she was told to do. They were the people that lead to her being created. "If no one objects, let's get going. Time's a-wasting."
Baumgartner was walking down a hallway, having just sent Aigis and the others on a helicopter heads towards Tatsumi Port Island in Japan. He felt confident that they would be able to accomplish their mission, well the two Subjects anyway. He still had his doubts about Aigis, considering how she was acting. It would work out though. Baumgartner always had a back up plan in case things went awry.
Baumgartner arrived at the end of the hallway, stopping in front of a door. He gave a small knock before entering, closing the door behind him. He had returned to the office of The Boss.
"Zachary, have you already sent them away?", he asked, sitting behind his desk.
"Yes Sir. They should arrive soon. If all goes well, then we won't have to worry about people trying to investigate what we're doing."
"Good. Seeing how Subject 001-Z is with them, then there is virtually nothing for us to worry about," The Boss said, leaning back in his chair. Once the Kirijo Group was taken care of, they would be able to continue they're experiments without a worry of interference. Besides, they still needed time before they could put their final plan into motion.
"Sir, I have a question. Who exactly is Subject 001-Z? I haven't heard of him before," Baumgartner questioned. He's heard of many Subjects that were valuable and important to the group, but not all of them. Subject 001-Z was completely different than all the others and to be kept in the main base meant it was of great value to The Boss.
"As my second in command, I suppose I'll tell you a little bit about him. Subject 001-Z was once called Ryan, last name forgotten. He was brought to the P-HDAS for testing around the age of 5, similar to a few other test subjects. We preformed lots of tests on him, some might say too many. Yet, he survived, even if he was broken mentally." He looked around his office, not looking at Baumgartner's direction. "After almost 15 years, he started to change. He no longer spoke, ate human flesh, and just stood in one spot for hours on end. His body also changed, turning into the abomination you see today," he said, standing up. "He's been here for almost 21 years, one of the oldest test subjects. No rational thought, anything that makes him human gone. We soon realized that any Subject that manages to survive that long while being tested on will eventually become an abomination."
"What about Subject 319-B, the one in Japan?"
"Even if it appears that he's free, we're still very much watching him. This is just another test for him. To be honest, I do hope he survives that long. I wonder what he'll look like in another 5 years or so," he said, returning to his chair.
"Sir, what about Subject 285-K? Was it really alright to let her go? I mean, she's not as strong as Subject 001-Z and that Aigis android," Baumgartner asked. It was obvious he was concerned about her, which The Boss could understand. Still, The Boss knew that Baumgartner had no rights in questioning his choice in sending her out there. He gave that right up when he let them preform tests on her. For the better, he said.
"Baumgartner, I know you're worried about Subject 285-K, but it's my call. I kmow what I'm doing. Besides, she needs to have experience in killing people. It won't be long before her brain also decays. Why don't you worry about Subject 139-K instead?"
"He can take care of himself. I myself taught him," Baumgartner said, looking away. He was upset, wishing Subject 285-K was safe inside her cell instead of being out there. "Very well, Sir. I'll be going now." Baumgartner turned to leave until The Boss stopped him.
"If it makes you feel any better, I ordered Subject 001-Z to take care of her. Though she's another test subject for us, she's still your daughter. Now, like I said before, go check up on your son. It's been a while since you've seen him."
Baumgartner just stood still, hand on the door handle, as he listened to what The Boss told him. Without responding, Baumgartner opened the door and walked out of the office.
It was nightfall when the helicopter artived to Tatsumi Port Island, where the Kirijo Group was located. In order to remain unnoticed, instead of landing, both Subjects and Aigis had to jump out. Once they did, the helicopter quickly left, heading towards the mainland.
"Though the entire island is practically owned by the Kirijo Group, the main building is located some distance from here. The rest of the island is now more or less a city, complete with a school and some notable locations, " Aigis explained to her accomplices, looking around the area they were droped off at. "In fact, Gekkoukan High School just around the corner."
Looking around, they were dropped off in a small field that was part of a park. Luckliy for them, there was no one around. Letting out a sigh of relief, Aigis started walking in the direction of the Kirijo building, Subject 285-K following close by. As for Subject 001-Z, it chose to stick to the shadows so it wouldn't be seen, though it didn't mind. It never received an order to not kill any bystanders.
"Let us hurry. I do not want to be here, knowing what my objective is," Aigis muttered sadly.
"That's right. These people are like your family. They did create you," Subject 285-K said, looking up at Aigis as she followed the android.
"Exactly. It is because of them that I became sentient, gaining cognitive thought. They taught me a plethora of different things, such as what is right and wrong." Aigis started to shed a few tears, thinking of what it was she was about to do to the people she cared about, the people that gave her life and a reason to live. To protect others, not kill them. "I know that this is very much somthing wrong. To have no choice in the matter also feels wrong."
Subject 285-K looked at how torn Aigis appeared. She was created to help people, protect them. Now she was being forced to kill them because someone managed to blackmail her and tweak with her programming. It were times like these that made her regret siding with her father and the rest of the P-HDAS.
"I'm so sorry," Subject 285-K said while grabbing onto Aigis's arm, the android slightly startled. "I'm sorry."
Subject 285-K continued to comfort Aigis for a few more seconds. Once Aigis stopped crying, they continued walking towards the Kirijo building.
Aigis and the two Subjects had finally arrived to the Kirijo building without much hassle. There was a pair of armed guards standing at the entrance.
"Alright, you go on ahead. 001-Z and I will take care of any guards. Try to take care of Takeharu Kirijo and Mitsuru Kirijo as quickly as you can. Good luck." With that, Subject 285-K and 001-Z walked off, looking for some hiding places so they wouldn't be so easily spotted. They would have to rely on Aigis making the first move.
Aigis took a few deep breaths in order to ease her nerves. Even of breathing wasn't necessary, it helped a little. Once she calmed down enough, Aigis walked towards the entrance of the building, the guards taking notice of her.
"Halt. Before you walk in, we'll have to inspect you as well as require an identification from you. Walking around with an ammo belt isn't something we take lightly," one of the guards said, walkong towards Aigis. The guard's partner aimed his gun at Aigis in case she tried to do something. "Please raise your hands above your head."
Aigis complied and let the guard pat her down and search for any sort of weapon. As he searched her, she heard the sound of chains being dragged along the ground nearby, which also got the guard with his gun aimed at her attention. As the guard lowered his gun and looked away, Aigis acted accordingly. Lowereing one of her arms and aiming her fingers in a gun shape at the man, she fired multiple times, each bullet piercing the man's cranium, splattering flecks of brain matter, blood, and bone in various directions.
"Shit!", the other guard said as he moved away fron Aigis, reaching for his sidearm. He was too slow though as Aigis sent him backwards with a quick and precise kick to the stomach. Without a second thought thanks to the new program installed into her, Aigis kicked the doors open and calmly walked in, shooting at everybody in sight, not caring who it was.
The guard struggled to get up, coughing up blood and bile. He could here the sound of gunshots and the agonizing screams of people dying. He slowly stood up just in time to see a strange little girl carrying a rusty sickle on one hand and an old sack on the other walk into the building, a smile on her face.
"Have...to...call...in...back-up," the guard said, wheezing. The guard reached for his radio, ready to warn the others, when he was suddenly knocked down, radio falling from his hands. Before he could stand up, he felt his attacker smash his kneecaps, breaking them. "AAAAHHHHH!"
The guard had never felt so much pain before in his life. His legs were completely rendered useless, he most likely had internal bleeding, and now he couldn't fend off his attacker. Suddenly, the guard felt something grab and pierce his side before he was thrown towards the entrance of the builidng. "AAAAAHHHHH! SON OF A BITCH!", the guard screamed in agony as he landed on his back, a large chunk of his side torn off. He clutched his side with both hands, hoping to stoo the bleeding, though it didn't help. It didn't take long for him to be surrounded by a crimson pool of his own blood, feeling faint.
Looking up, he saw the thing that was his attacker. Seeing it made him for get his pain momentarily, eyes filled with pure, unadulterated fear. The thing was extremely tall with chains wrapped around its body. Its fingers were long and bony, ending in sharp points. Its face was leathery, like some type of mask and with only one lone, red eye staring back at him. A large scar ran diagonally across the things face, half of it sewn shut. The rest of it opened up to reveal sharp, white teeth. In one of the things hands was a large chunk of meat with some bone jutting out of it, the blood spilling onto the floor, staining it even further. It was the guard's missing side. Slowly lifting the glistening raw chunk of meat to its head, the things started to eat noisily, both disturbing and disgusting the guard.
"Shit," the guard muttered, trying to crawl away from this monstrosity despite his injuries. Unfortunately, this didn't go unnoticed by the strange thing as it slowly walked to the panicking guard who was desperately trying to get away.
"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!" The strange being just tilted its head, blood covering its face from its recent snack before walking towards the guard once more. The guard had managed to reach his fallen sidearm, quickly grabbing it, aiming, and shooting at the thing. The guard continiued firing until his clip was empty.
Nothing. The thing was perfectly fine, getting ever closer to the guard, its mouth open as if in a smile, knowing it had won. The guard just threw his gun at it. "FUCK YOU!", the guard yelled, tears streaming from his face. The thing decided to attack at that moment, pouncing on top of the guard, ripping him apart limb for limb, organ of organ. "AAAAAAHHHH!" While the thing ripped him apart, it also started to eat his face off, tearing off his ear, nose, and the majority of his skin.
It was only a matter of seconds until there was nothing left off the guard. Subject 001-Z had always been a fast eater. Once it was done with its meal, it entered the builidng, ready to help its companions. Subject 001-Z was still hungry after all.
The lobby was practically destroyed, bullet holes covering everything, multiple corpses littering the room. Strangely, some of the bodies were missing various body parts, appearing to have been cut off. In fact, as Aigis stood in the center of the room, looking at the destruction she caused, she noticed Subject 285-K kneeling next to one of the dead bodies, bloodied sickle in hand as she hummed a happy tune.
"What are you doing?", Aigis questioned, worried. She had already killed people today, something she swore she would never do. Disturbing the corpses was something eles she wanted to prevent but also failed at.
"Look at this young woman's jaw! It's way better than the one I have attached right now. Besides, my current jaw is about to decay. I need a new one," she responded nonchalantly as she proceeded to cut off the jaw with her sickle, the sounds disturbing Aigis. Once she was done, Subject 285-K stored the jaw inside her sack, along with the other body parts she had before standing up with a large smile. "There. All done!"
"We have to hurry. There is not much time before-", Aigis started before getting interrupted by a loud ringing noise. All the lights had turned off as the large, red light signaling an emergency turned on in each hallway, a ringing similar to that of a fire alarm playing over and over again. "We will soon be swarmed by more guards. Let us hurry to the stairs," Aigis warned, ready to shoot anything in her way.
"Don't worry. I can take care of myself," Subject 285-K said happily. Subject 001-Z was also next to them, ready to get another meal.
"Very well. We shall slaughter then all," Aigis declared sadly, tears in her eyes. She never meant to kill any of these people. This wasn't her doing, it was the program. Yet, it was still her fault. It tortured her going against everything she believed in, taking the life of good, innocent people. Now here she was with two psychopaths ready to kill the man that ordered her construction, as well as her friend.
"Let us go," Aigis ordered.
Takeharu Kirijo sat behind his desk, watching how his forces were easily getting overwhelmed in various gruesome ways. This is what he was prepared for, the entire reason why he made that contract with Rias a while ago. He expected the P-HDAS to target him and his daughter due to him geting too suspicious. He needed Mitsuru to live. He doesn't care what happens to him as long as he knows she's safe. That's why he sent her away from here. So she could be safe.
Still, he didn't expect them to send one of his own androids and two others after him. Seeing all of his forces get killed right and left, countless bodies left in their wake didn't surprise him. Neither was seeing how Aigis was in tears as she fought, knowing this was against all her beliefs. No. It was how the other two were killing his forces in twisted ways. It made him wonder what they would do to Mitsuru if he hadn't taken any sort of precaution.
'It'll be up to you Mitsuru, to lead the Kirijo Group. You have to stop them from continuing their inhumane activities. They're planning something big, I just know it. I have faith in you.'Takeharu thought as he continued to watch the video feed from the surveillance cameras. They were getting closer to him, but he wasn't worried. He had already made peace with the fact that he would die.
The sounds of gunshots got louder and louder as all the Kirijo guards were trying their best to stop them from reaching Takeharu. They were soon murdered by Aigis, Subject 001-Z eating them alive and Subject 285-K taking their limbs for herself.
Takeharu closed his eyes, letting out a sigh. When he opened his eyes, he was met with bright blue ones filled with tears, the scene of the last remaining guards getting killed by both Subjects.
Aigis stared at the leader of the Kirijo Group, aiming her hand in a gun shape, ready to kill him. She couldn't bring herself to shoot though. Aigis was at her limit. Even though she was programmed to shoot him right then and there, she couldn't. Not the man that was the cause of her creation.
"Mr. Kirijo. I...am sorry."
"Do not worry Aigis. You are a good person, having more of a heart than the people forcing ypu to do this. I don't blame you."
"B-but," Aigis said, crying.
"I forgive you for everything. Now, take the shot."
"I can not."
"Shoot."
"But-"
"Do it now! That's an order!"
After everything that happened, Aigis collapsed to her knees, tears flowing really from her eyes. She couldn't go on anymore, wanting Death to take her that very instant.
"Aigis? What's wrong?", Subject 285-K asked. She saw Takeharu Kirijo sitting behind his desk, a bullet hole in his forehead. Aigis didn't respond, still crying over killing someone she was close to. "Aigis, it'll be fine. People die all the time. Besides, we need you. We have to get out of here before more people show up."
Aigis didn't move. She couldn't anymore. How could she live knowing that she was murderer?
"Subject 001-Z, carry her will you? We have to leave now," Subject 285-K ordered.
Aigis let herself get taken away, the last thing she saw was Takeharu Kirijo's prone form as they left the building, ready to head back to the base.
AN: Done! This wasn't how I planned this chapter, but like I said, I had to rewrite it multiple times. I originally had more detail with combat and a better ending. I got frustrated having to rewrite the same chapter I spent hours on, so I gave up. Sorry.
Next chapter, if nothing happens, will have Raynare and Azazel meet to discuss Viktor, Sona and Rias trying to train him, keyword being try, and Koneko getting closer to him. I may or may not add Mitsuru next chapter.
In case you were wondering,
Harem: Rias, Akeno, Koneko, Asia, Xenovia, Sona, Tsubaki, Akira, Ophis, Reiri (OC), Yuno (Mirai Nikki), Mitsuru (Persona)
Possibly Add: Serafell, Kuroka, Seekvaira, Irina, Rossweisse
Unless something crazy happens with my story files again, do expect the next chapter to be uploaded much sooner. Again, I might write another DxD story, though I'm still planning it and need to update my RWBY stories. Feel free to leave a review. I'll see you guys next time.
