"DANCE! GO MAD YOU FOOLS!

Let us all give blessings to the lamb that is to drop down into the Abyss!"

~~Alice "Pandora Hearts"

This was boring.

SOOOO BORING!

Roy never felt so utterly boring in his ENTIRE LIFE!

He couldn't stand any longer being beside the girl. Roy fixated his eyes his watch. 7:55. Geez, THREE LONG HOURS felt like THREE LONG DAYS with InJune.

Roy shrugged as his eyes continued to stare into the watch. Meh, he had worse days.

As he (finally) approached his car, he sighed and opened the passengers seat. InJune nodded respectively and sat inside, and Roy slammed the door shut and did the same.

Roy felt REALLY out of sorts. He just needed a drink-perhaps even a nap. ANYTHING to get rid of this girl!

Roy shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He especially didn't like the silence they sat in.

Maybe I could drop her off somewhere? I could just take her home and say I have work-ah damn-today's a Sunday. Hm...maybe I could take her out to eat one more time, and then excuse myself to the restroom, but escape and leave. Yeah, that should do it. Worked the last time. Roy's mind concluded. He nodded his head in satisfaction and-

"WATCH OUT!" a voice screeched in Roy's ear, making him forget his plan and focus once more on the road-but it was too late-he was heading right for a tree!

Roy's eyes widened as his hands automatically jerked to the right, churning the steering wheel as much as he could to avoid the crash. Roy gasped loudly in relief when he noticed that the tree was no longer a problem...

...but immediately screamed when the car dipped down a hill and was heading towards a large, deep river.

"AL?!" Ed called out as she wandered the streets. She was SURE Al was behind her! Where is he now?! "ALPHONSE?!" she called out again before crossing the street.

To other pedestrians, Edward may have looked like a young girl just strutting down the sidewalk.

But in reality, the more she stepped, the more she felt like she was losing her mind.

She canNOT lose her brother again! She felt her nervousness rise as her eyes darted in every direction in search for her brother. Her neck and head started to feel hot as the sensation of tears started at her eyes.

Then she saw a figure in the corner of her eye, gazing at her from the side of a flower shop building.

Ed squinted her eyes to try and get a better look. This figure looked awfully small-too small to be her brother. But then again...this figure looked VERY familiar...

Ed stepped a bit closer, and finally jogging a bit towards the figure. Then the figure suddenly pulled back, escaping further down the building into the dark alleyway.

Ed stopped and tried to peer into the darkness, but all she could see was a faint sign of garbage cans and darkness. Great. This means she actually have to GO in there...

Roy sputtered up water and coughed violently. He managed to escape the drowning car...but...

"Oh shit...INJUNE!" he sputtered as he gathered up as much air as he could and dove into the water once more to find the girl.

Roy looked around frantically, and started to swim as fast as he could towards the grim, blurred car. He opened the driver's door and plunged inside.

He reached out his hands and struggled to undo InJune's seatbelt, as her head hung on her shoulder and her eyes gently shut, unconscious.

Roy, who was trying to be as fast as possible, wrapped his arms around InJune's stomach and pulled her out towards the open door.

Then InJune's eyes snapped open.

She started to scream and freak out, flailing her arms in every direction. She even slammed her fist into Roy's shoulder! I am NEVER taking HER out again! Roy thought as he struggled, so seconds later, he just let her go and gestured his finger towards the surface of the water. InJune finally nodded and swam upwards toward air.

Roy started on his way behind her, but something quickly snagged him back. Roy looked back and saw that his shirt was caught in the door. He embraced his shirt (that unfortunately, costed him a FORTUNE) and started to pull clumsily, noting that his air supply was running dangerously low.

InJune gasped loudly as her head smacked free from the river, and she coughed a few times. She slowly made her way out of the water.

Only to stop when a blond male stood in her way. She looked up and gasped a little, but then smirked evilly.

"So, it truly you, Hohenheim? I take'r that you success'lly taken over't youngest Elric's body."

Al grinned widely and walked past her. "Of course. He was weak and naive." He replied in a dark, older man's voice.

...I am not weak...I am not naive...please stop...I don't want to kill Roy...please...give me my body back...

Al shook his head. "Silence, Al. I am doing something a real human should do."

...BUT HUMANS AREN'T LIKE THIS!

Al smirked and approached the water. "Says you." he said coldly and waited for his victim to hit surface.

Roy started to make grunting noises as his grip on the shirt became tighter. He needed air, damnit!

He couldn't die here-hell no! Not without saying good-bye to Edward!

Edward...he thought again.

She would really be sad if I left her behind.

Roy jerked back as his shirt finally set free. Roy rejoiced in his head as he began to swim upwards, not able to hold his breath for much longer.

As his head escaped the water prison, he gasped for much needed air and wiped his face.

Al smirked and held out his hand. "Colonel. Are you alright?"

Roy smiled and gladly took the offered hand. "Y-yeah, I guess. Thanks." he said as he was lifted out of the water and back to land.

Al smiled once again in the most fake innocent expression. "Come on. Let's get back to the palace, shall we?"

Edward finally let out her breath of air (that she didn't even know she was holding in) and proceeded into the darkness.

"H-hello...?" the Elric questioned the air as she tried to look around.

Ed then spun around a complete 180 degrees when she heard the faint sound of feet behind her.

Her breathing started to rise to a low beating, and she carefully took some baby steps backwards until-

WHACK!

She felt a strong blow on her back, making Ed stumble forward and slam right into the building wall. She growled in pain and detached herself from the wall and shook her head side to side to try and catch the glimpse of her attacker. But as a result, she got another strong blow on her lower right calf, sending her plunging to the ground with a loud thump.

Ed quickly shifted to lying on her back, but before she could sit up, a body lunged over her and laughed evilly in a metallic tone.

"Well, what'r wonderful reunion-Fullmetal Alchemist, yes it is."

Ed shivered, but her eyes widened in fear and confusion. She recognized that accent and voice...and the dirty, black long hair and brown Xingese eyes. And the face that was covered in scratches and blood. And the rags what-was-supposed-to-be-clothes on him. And the broken English he spoke.

"...Takeshi...?!"
