It was nauseating, the travel from one place through another. One second they were in Marineford, fighting the war of a lifetime. Now they were somewhere unfamiliar. A figure stood before them who went by the name Chief. As in the Origin's main deity Chief the untamed. Beside him stood two powerful presence, an owlman hybrid and a giant bearman hybrid also.
"Welcome to the land of the Origin. Welcome to Tadhala" Said the bearman.
"I am Owl, this is Bear." Said the owlman as Chief made his way to what they could only assume was his throne room.
"We are all from the Origin I am sure you have so many questions which we will gladly..." Before Bear could finish, he felt a two sets of claws in his back while Owl receive a kick in the face. Veshiro sliced Bear while Lapu kicked Owl.
Bear let out a mighty roar that shook the very ground they stood on, while Owl stood up from the wall which he was sent to by Lapu's kick.
"Well, it seems as you both will not comply despite our many similarities. Sheep, Ram, Monkey, Armadillo. Capture them. Owl, get them to comply." Four new figures emerge, all in their hybrid form.
Veshiro and Lapu would not go down so easy as they fought of the new arrivals. But they were no match as it was four against two. They were well trained zoan fruit users. More or less on their level. Veshiro was held down by Sheep and Ram. While Lapu was held down by Monkey and Armadillo.
"This will be quick." Said the Owl as he stared into the eyes of Veshiro. "You are Panther of the Origin, I only serve Chief my one true king."
"I am Panther of the Origin, I only serve Chief my one true king." Said Veshiro to the shock of Lapu who mustered up enough strenght to send Monkey to the ground while he held Armadillo in a choke hold.
"Release us or I will kill this man." But what he did not expect was that Veshiro would be the one to stop him by getting behind him and chopping his neck, causing him to fall backwards, unable to control his body. 'Damn pressure points.'
Then Owl looked down at him and stared into the eyes of Lapu. "You are Griffin of the Origin, I only serve Chief my one true king."
"I am Griffin of the Origin, I only serve Chief my one true king." Then complete darkness.
With Nanami, Vang, and Raiga
"Tough luck, not this one either." Said Raiga as he held a man by the collar.
"Why did our lead say this place knows something about the sky island of Tadhala" Said Vang as he read through all the notes he gathered about the mysterious island.
"Maybe we keep searching who know the answer could be right in front of..." Nanami stopped as a woman stood before them, bloodied and bruise "...us." She immediately went to aide the lady as she performed her medical treatment. "She's stable."
"Thank you..." Said the woman barely audible as the pain remained intact in her body. "...I am Lioness. We are..."
"You don't have to tell me.." Said Nanami but Lioness would continue.
"I want to... We are the resistance against the tyrannic control of the schibukai named Chief. In the eyes of the people of Tadhala, he is the reincarnation of the true king of the origin. But me and my husband, Lion, would not believe his lies. We have amassed a small number of resistance, but as of lately, we are slowly being hunted one by one. I was the latest victim."
"Who was hunting you?" Asked Vang, noticing the visibly claw mark on her midsection, it can't be.
"There was three of them, A Ram, A Griffin, and a Panther."
"What the hell?!" Exclaimed Raiga, shocked from what he heard. "There's no way they would do such a thing! By going back to Vadhala, did they suddenly join back with their Origin family?"
"I don't think it's as black and white as that." Said Vang.
"They are your friends?" Asked Lioness.
"Just the Griffin and the Panther...we are unsure what happened to them." Said Nanami
"Maybe...no...I will show you to our headquarters. There my husband will explain everything to you."
"Wait, how could you trust us so quickly? For all you know we could be the enemy...or you could be our enemy." Said Vang.
"You are right. I trust you because I have mother's instinct. While for you to trust me, well that is solely up to you." Said Lioness.
"Let's go with her." Declared Nanami who followed beside Lioness. Raiga then followed while Vang complied, trusting in the decision of their superior.
The destination wasn't far. They went into the sewer and took a couple of turns that led them to an entry way. A giant vault door that required a series of twist and turns in order to open. "Welcome to our hideout." Said Lioness as the door opened.
Hybrids of animals moved around the room, all moved around with a purpose, be it taking care of the map or resupplying the stash of floor.
"My love, I have returned." Stated Lioness. Everyone was surprise to find new people in their hideout.
"My dear! I thought they got you! What happened? You don't seem to have any injury?" Said Lion. Looking at the newcomer with a calculating look.
"I'm fine, they cornered me in which case I escaped finding these kind people who healed me of my injuries." Lioness smiled at her husband, Lion waved his hands and everyone continued on with their work.
"Thank you for saving my dear Lioness, if there is anything you need, just tell me and I will do everything in my power to do it."
"We need to go to Tadhala." Said Nanami, who did not beat around the bush.
"Well.." Lion looked at his wife who nodded to him. "..Alright, I will have an escort point you to the right direction but I do apologize but we can't go with you back there. We will be executed on sight."
"We understand. We just need to go there." Said Nanami.
"Again, thank you for saving my wife. Chameleon, Rabbit, escort these three to Vadhala, but return immediately after they find the place."
The Chameleon and Rabbit did as they were told, escorting the trio to a path that leads to Vadhala.
Several hours later, they saw a rocky pillar that stretched for several yards.
"This is the entrance to Vadhala, this is as far as we can take you." Said Rabbit, who was surprisingly, good company.
"Thank you so much for accompanying us, have a safe trip back."
"Yeah you three als..."Before rabbit could finish a hand penetrated her abdomen. "...o" Then the person who stabbed her with their very hand removed it slowly, causing Rabbit to fall with a painful thud on the floor.
"NOOOOO!" Massive vines emerged from the ground the killer stood from and trapped him. Threatening to choke him. "WHO SENT YOU!" Nanami was angry beyond reasonable doubt. Vang and Raiga remained alert, noticing that Chameleon was gone.
"Where did Chameleon go." Suddenly another figure emerged from out of nowhere and the body of a dead Chameleon was on his feet.
"Sorry to interrupt but I'm Scorpion and that guy your holding in your vines is Wolf. Please kindly release him, as you can see you are surrounded." Eyes glowed from around the trio. A ground of Origin members had them surrounded.
"Vang how many are there?" Asked Nanami as the trio stood back to back. She did not release her hold on Wolf, only tightening it.
"I can count 15." Said Vang.
"Raiga get behind them, Vang cover me." With that she grew a wave of vines that shocked the enemy, catching some of them while the others cut down the vines. Despite cutting the vines, some of them were electrocuted by a flash of yellow lightning.
"You whore!" Scorpion jumped to sting the attacking Nanami but he received a fatal blow to his stomach. Vang intercepted his attack and threw a quake punch in the man's abdomen.
Scorpion was destroyed from the inside where all of his organs collapsed in themselves. The remaining Origin members ran for there lives while the wolf was choked to death. "I am a doctor yet you must die, respect comes with you to the afterlife."
"Let's go we have to find Veshiro and Lapu." Said Nanami as they continued through the path to Tadhala.
In Marineford, the aftermath of the War
"Vell, I Vwill zake zis wit me!(Well, I will take this with me)." Stein took the lifeless body of former Yonko Hue. He was headed back to impel down where he would perform numerous experiments.
"Damn Bishiou..." Said Garuda as he made his way back to his ship, set to be anywhere but Marineford. Alexander was already long gone hunting for the pirate crew as he was hell bent on destroying them. Fow quietly made his leave, not caring for farewells. Chief on the other hand was already long gone, even before the aftermath of the war.
Fleet Admiral Diep calmly made his way back to the platform, where he stood before needing to join the war. There he stood for a moment with everyone watching his every mood. He took notice of all three admiral sitting in their throne,calmly waiting for his speech.
"I..." Began the Fleet Admiral, but his mind drew a blank, unable to produce any clear sentences. He was not sure where to begin. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder, looking back, he could see the former Fleet Admiral urging him to continue. 'Thank you sir...'
"This war, it was a test of our belief. That belief is rooted at the bases of absolute justice. Criminals known as pirates think that they control this world, they think garnering a higher bounty will make them better than justice. Well where are they now?! Yonko Buso is dead! Yonko Hue is dead! Yonko Daeh is injured! We of the Marine have taken care of three of the emperors of the sea. The balance of power has shifted to our favor. Despite anyone's attempt to fill the void left behind by the new emperors, none shall reclaim the throne tipping the balance of power to us. We are absolute justice and this war proved that we will prevail!" Everyone cheered for the Fleet Admiral and his conviction. Diep made his way down from the platform and back to his office, where he has alot of paper works to handle.
Yopa followed him to the office. "You did good Diep."
"Thank you Yopa." Diep took a seat on his desk, rubbing his temple.
"You put your feelings behind you and performed your duty like a true marine."
"Indeed. I only did what you would do."
"No you did what you would do, not because of me. It was your call."
"I suppose..."
"Never mind that. This was a great victory for us. But something else is brewing. Ariel, the queen of the Fishman, Yonko of the sea has been warding of Ymir and Stig who, despite your statement, will most likely fill the seat of the two dead Yonko."
In Mermaid Island
"Listen Ymir, enough with this nonsense! We don't need to fight anymore." The man known as Stig said as he dodge a flurry of icicle. He used his giant blade in order to avoid getting struck in the heart.
"You brought this upon yourself fool! I am Ymir King of the Arctic! I will be the new emperor of the sea!" Ymir slammed his mace on the ground causing the entire floor on which they stood on to freeze. But before the whole floor could freeze water emerged from all over the room dripping the two fighters.
"YOU FOOLS! CAUSING HAVOK IN MY ISLAND!" The woman who was speaking was non other than Queen Ariel Triton, Yonko. Her hair moved above her head in a scary manner. Ymir fell on one knee but was able to freeze the water underneath him so that he would not lose his power. Stig remained fixed, unaffected by the ocean water. He placed his blade on his back and began to walk the other way. Several fishman blocked his way.
"No need Ariel, I'll see my way out. I was going to tell Ymir that we don't need to fight anymore since both Buso and Hue are dead." With that Stig made his way out.
"You? What can you say for yourself Ymir?" Asked the emperor.
"Stupid kid. Nothing Ariel. I'm also headed somewhere else. Just stopping by your Island. I just saw the little brat and decided to beat the hell out of him. But I'm on my way now. After all, I am an Emperor now." Ymir froze the floor he walked in so that he would not touch the sea water. They he made his way to his own ship and left.
"Fishman! Clear my island, make sure noone from the Grand Force Pirates and Frost Pirates! I don't want any spies in this Island." With that everyone left except two people.
"Mera, Poseidon. It's been a long time since you've seen me angry." The woman known as Ariel Triton carried massive authority wherever she went. She was usually calm and peaceful but once anyone threaten the peace of her Island, she will show her bad side. She had long blue hair the reached her knees. Her figure was any man's dream. She wore a black scaly dress that doubled as an armor. She had legs of a human but could morph them into mermaid tale at will.
"It is alright my Queen. We serve you faithfully no matter." Said Poseidon. Mera merely nodded.
"Thank you." She unrolled a newspaper which she was reading earlier and continued reading it. "Daeh Uac is causing trouble huh. Good this will divert everyone's attention from us. Mera, commence phase two, flood all surrounding areas."
"Your Majesty." Mera bowed and went to where she needed to go.
"My queen, you must rest.."
"No Poseidon, we fishmans have been oppressed for far too long. Our fathers, and there fathers to our great ancestors have been oppressed by humans for far too long. It is time for the fishman community to live on the surface. It is time the fishmans ruled the world!"
Her plan was not evil through her eyes. It was justice. The Human world has treated fishmans like trash, second class citizens. They were bullied, hunted as if they were animals. There was alot of hate for them and she accepted it for far too long. But the deaths continued, her citizens were treated like monsters. Her people are her family, and her family is being hunted as a sport. She would not have anymore. Ariel of the Yonko will finally exert her power. Showing the world the power of the fishmans, the most hated species in the world.
