She's so small against him, so fragile.
So broken and hurt.
Students scream around them, phones snap with photographs.
This is such a fucked up goodbye.
Slippery stairs; body weak from expelling food.
Cradling her head in his arms, he brought her to his chest.
He wanted to sob, wanted to scream and thunder.
Blood stained her pretty skirt, the color of anger.
Dry sobs raked his body as she was pulled from his arms and into the ambulance.
