Thank you all and please let me know what you think or want to see... Enjoy!
Andy gets out of the water and smiles seeing Sharon laid out on the beach chair, she opens her eyes as he approaches smiling up at him. "That's the best look on you?" Andy stops grinning confused.
"What swim trunks?" He looks down at himself.
"Wet, coming out of the shower, the tub in this case the beach." He smiles climbing into the chair with her. "Andy we don't fit." She giggles when he lays on his side beside her when an empty chair sits right next to them he kisses her breast. "My eyes are up here." He takes a second to look up at her.
"You wear a distracting skimpy bathing suit and I can't look or touch?" He says slightly offended his fingertips caressing her thigh.
"Yes the skimpiest if I may add. You picked to your liking more then to mine." He gives her a flirty grin. "I'm too old to be dressed this way." She says tugging on her top, but Andy swats her hand as she is ruining the perfect angle he has, she rolls her eyes letting the purple bathing suit be.
"I don't think the many wandering eyes think that way." He groans looking at two men walking by as they look at Sharon he lays on top of her. "There all blocked." She rolls her eyes again.
"Yes but I don't get enough sun that way." She whines as he kisses her cheek.
"Can we go inside?" She shakes her head as he kisses her breast again moving up to her neck with soft soothing kisses.
"You're unbelievable sometimes, you know that right?" She says closing her eyes at the wonderful talent he is inflicting on her.
"Well you are unbelievable all the time, especially in bed." She scoffs opening her eyes again that tantalizing gaze the one that had been driving them back into the bedroom over and over the short time they had been here.
"Oh get off!" She pushes him. "I'm getting back in the water." He doesn't move. "Andy move." She says slightly frustrated he looks into her eyes again. "No, no." She giggles, "don't look at me that way." He kisses her chin getting up. She sits up and Andy pulls her close.
"You look absolutely amazing." He practically growls, she shakes her head kissing him. "You called Rusty?" He runs his hands through her hair. She smiles at the change of topic.
"He's sad." Andy nods. "Don't get me wrong I love being here, but I should have talked to him before escaping." Her runs his hand to her back then to her bottom. "Get your mind out of the gutter." He laughs standing up extending his hand to hers. "Where are we going?" She looks at him carefully.
"Home." She frowns he sits back own. "What about Rusty? His birthday is the day after tomorrow?" Sharon runs her hand down his bare chest, biting her bottom lip.
"Yes and we are celebrating here." He smiles when she meets his eyes again. "You still okay with that?" Andy smiles and gives her a flirty grin. Sharon can't resist anymore and squirms closer wrapping her legs around him and her arms around his neck. "Carry me to bed." He groans lifting her from her bottom. "How long have you been?" She starts when she feels the slight bulge.
"Since I got out of the water and saw you lying there." She ends some suffering by kissing him shapely onto his lips. "Mmm." She bites on his lip pulling him down as they get to the bed. He shifts up onto his knees climbing to be over her she smiles as he links his fingers with hers spread over her head, leaning down and making her moan into his mouth her legs wrapping around him once again her hips pushing up against his. They let their desire and passion take over once again, their bodies collapsing together into a state of bliss.
"Andy, you've been over." Her back arches. "That same place over and over." She breathes heavily as he licks and bites at her thighs.
"Yes, but these legs." He moves up sucking on her skin up her body, nibbling on the places he knows make her release the little noises that drive him crazy. He takes his time. "Your skin." He groans in pleasure he leaves small marks on her skin that show his desperate desire of wanting her all the time, making her his even in this small way.
"Oh." Sharon smiles when he stops and teases her nipples, her eyes closed. "Teasing are we?" He grins.
"I thought we were done?" She chuckles. "I was just having a little extra fun." He captures her lips. "Mmm," his hands run to her hips. "You are…"
"Horny?" He grins never expecting that word to graze her lips but it is the only word that can fit the way they've been behaving the past several hours besides in love and desperate to reacquaint. "Yes a little does that bother you?" She teases him.
"No not at all. Just not sure I can keep up with you." She smiles at the honesty in his voice.
"You're doing just fine." She bites her bottom lip. "Excellent if you don't mind me saying." He smiles kissing her arms, his hand traveling down her body. "Oh." She gasps as he reaches his destination.
"You ready?" She nods her breathing more sporadic.
"Very much," she grabs his hand when he pauses and her eyes flutter open, "don't stop." She releases her grip. "Oh." His hand bringing her pleasure as he descends his lips onto the softness of her neck. They let heavy breathing, soft touches and deep moans drift them both off to a delicate sleep one even drug induced couldn't give her. A pleasant sleep Andy hadn't been able to reach in days only now being with her, his worries erased with the soft smile splayed on her lips. Her body relaxed, limbs tangled and only the lightest sheet covering their bodies. Andy wakes Sharon with soft kisses along her arms traveling down her bare back he chuckles making her smile but she stays still delicately spread out on her stomach only her bottom covered with the sheet.
"Does a naked woman make you laugh?" She asks playfully her eyes closed. He grins pulling the sheet up she opens her eyes to see what he is doing he keeps his eyes on hers as he pulls it to cover himself too.
"You fight for it in your sleep and then you lay there bare." She hums.
"You're missing the point." He raises his eyebrows intrigued now. "I love to see you naked." He chuckles as she closes her eyes again he kisses her lips softly. "Good Morning." He runs his hand through her messy hair. "Andy?" She breathes out in a question making him worry. He only makes a sound signaling his listening. "Why didn't we do this so I could sleep?" He grins.
"We did on the porch," she hums nodding moving closer to him he lays on his side as she kisses his chest. Yet it was different she remembers how softly he pleased her how just his kisses drove her to bliss.
"Yes, I slept soundly that time too." He smiles running his fingertips down the soft shape of her shoulders the small indentation of her spine. "Just like last night and the night prior." He smiles happy that she sounds so relaxed.
"You needed healing." She looks up at him. "You can sleep on your own now because well, you are starting to heal on the inside too." She smiles closing her eyes and pushing him to lay on his back as she rest on his chest wrapping herself into him. "Are you sore?" He asks abruptly. She giggles, shaking her head. "Well that proves you're in much better condition than I am." She laughs, "not that we didn't know that already." She runs her hands along his abdomen making him a little self-conscious she notices it and frowns.
"I'm sore but in a good way." He smiles at her dreamy voice telling him she's still not ready to wake up. "And I love your body Andy." She says easily making him feel a little unsure of himself. She looks up at him. "You are one hot and sexy old man." He laughs pulling her up and tight kissing her lips, she giggles as he tickles her until she is begging him to stop, where she ends up on the opposite side of him curling up to him again. "I love you." She whispers as she closes her eyes. Sharon spends the rest of the day in bed in and out of sleep. Andy wakes her only for her to eat as they joke together, are playful and fill the room with laughter. She finally gets out of bed for a shower where Andy takes care of her body delicately his hands never leaving her body gentle moans escaping Sharon with his caresses. They finish the shower and have dinner together as she rest on the sofa, Sharon pops her head up at the knock at the door. Andy grins, she smiles standing up when Andy opens it.
"Sharon?" Rusty rushes to her and hugs her tightly she smiles hugging him in return. "I know you were coming home tomorrow morning but Andy told me to come over here." She pulls out and looks at him smiling at him softly. "Did I do something wrong?" She shakes her head. "I came in on a taxi." He says trying to figure out what he did wrong.
"No not at all." He gives her an all knowing look, she shakes her head again. "You called me Sharon again." She puts a hand behind his back leading him outside. "I'm happy you're here." She whispers softly.
"I'm sorry." She looks at him confused. "Mom." She smiles kissing his forehead and sitting down on the beach chair, Rusty takes the other. "Wow, it's empty." He looks around, "no wonder you want to stay." Sharon smiles. "Andy told me you wanted to see me." He says his voice full of joy. He missed seeing Sharon up and looking at him the way she only could to make him feel safe.
"Hmm, I missed my son." He smiles watching her watch the oceans waves, she turns to him and winks at him. "How are you feeling?" He shrugs signaling to her that he wasn't doing well. She extends her hand to the side he takes it. "I had been under medication and our children gave us days alone and then we came here, I didn't talk to you about everything that happened." He releases her hand and takes a deep breath not thinking the topic was going to come up so soon. "Rusty, honey listen." She stands up and walks around the chair and sits beside him. "You are the most wonderful boy I know." He looks at his own hands. "Whatever happened before we found each other, doesn't matter to me, you are my son. That doesn't mean that you can't talk to me about it either." She rubs his back making him look at her. "I love you, there will always be the people that bring back the things that haunt us." He nods. She pulls him to rest on her chest, he smiles wrapping his arms around her she closes her eyes at the embrace. "I love you." She says so gently it breaks him.
"I love you too." She smiles.
"And thank you." He tries pulling out but she doesn't let him. "You protected me, you saved me from being shot." She kisses the top of his head then wiping her eyes. "I was supposed to protect you." He grabs her hand.
"You have saved me and protected me. You saved and protected me from Stroh, from that man whatever his name was, from the world, from Sharon Beck and especially from myself." She lets out a soft sigh. "When I got shot I never felt like you didn't protect me, I just knew that I had to protect you. Something made me react." She smiles kissing his hand. "What if I would have lost you?" He wipes her tear. "You don't have anything to feel guilty about every day you save and protect me by loving me." She hugs him again to overwhelmed in emotions to say anything. "I'm better, it hurts a lot less then everything I have been through before I met you." She kisses his cheek.
"You are an incredible son." He smiles a little embarrassed. They both turn to the waves in unison. "I missed you." When he looks back she is watching him with an expression that he can only label as love. Mother's love.
"Me too." He says softly and honestly hugging her again.
"So Rusty how about a midnight swim." Rusty pulls out and looks at Sharon asking for permission as Andy comes closer.
"Go on, I'll watch." Sharon signals with her head.
"Uh-uh." Andy says lifting her, Rusty smiles as she kicks in protest.
"Andy I'm not dressed to get in. Put me down!" And he tosses her, she squeals making contact with the water, Andy and Rusty laugh as she pops back out shaking her head to get the water out of her face. "I can't believe you!" Andy laughs as she rubs her face. "Very funny. Remember I have multiple ways of punishing you." Andy grins only imagining the ways.
"Is that right?" He watches her ring out the water from her shirt. "Rusty come on." Rusty stands up removing his shirt and following them into the water but stops. "Do I have to throw you in too?" Andy asks teasingly.
"I'm not a very good swimmer." He hesitates. "And my?" He points at his scar.
"Just go easy," Andy encourages him, "and no problem, you have the best swimmer in LA here with you." Sharon scoffs. "I meant you." She looks at his smirk and grins rolling her eyes. "You're not going to ditch our son are you?" Sharon shakes her head grinning. "Unbelievable, I know." He says playfully. She looks at Rusty's face of hesitation and excitement.
"Come on Rusty," she says not wanting to disappoint him. "Andy did me the gracious honor of soaking me." Rusty walks into the water with her. Andy smiles watching them walk in deeper and deeper until they are higher than their waist, he watches them laughing and smiles at the image. "Deeper?" She asks aware that he was still recovering, he nods. Andy follows them swimming out to them popping out behind Sharon and making her let out a second squeal. She lets out a noise of annoyance Andy holds her waist and kisses her shoulder, they look at Rusty who is rolling his eyes in humor. Sharon turns around and jumps up dunking Andy's head under the water and swimming away towards Rusty. "You hurting?" She asks as Andy pops out laughing.
"No, I'm okay." Rusty assures her. "Can you teach me?" He asks a little embarrassed, "I know how in like a pool, sort of." Sharon loves the soft expression he expresses.
"Of course, don't be embarrassed to ever ask me for anything or talk to me about anything." He nods feeling safe when both Andy and Sharon look at him. "So this is the worst idea swimming at night." Andy groans dramatically soaking himself completely under the water. Rusty giggles, stopping when Sharon glares at him. Andy and Sharon take turns showing Rusty how to swim in the ocean water until they can see Rusty slowing down. "Honey we can try again tomorrow if you are feeling okay." She tells him as they help him back to land. He sinks on the beach chair, Sharon looks at him worriedly.
"I'm okay just nice to be in the fresh air." He breathes in closing his eyes Andy comes behind Sharon and kisses her neck wrapping his arms around her. Rusty opens his eyes and shakes his head closing them again. They smile at him, Andy lifts Sharon up she laughs lifting her legs bended at her knees as he sits on the other chair bringing her down with him. She curls onto his side smiling up at him as he looks over at Rusty tenderly. Sharon rubs his chest he looks back at her grabbing her hand and kissing her palm. She scrunches her nose he giggles kissing her lips. "Get a room." They giggle onto their lips looking over at Rusty his eyes still closed.
"Talking about that we will have to all snuggle in bed today." Sharon smiles at Andy.
"No, the sofa is pull out, right?" Rusty answers they nod. "Sorry to ruin your trip."
"No, we missed you." Andy says sincerely. "We were getting bored out here alone." Rusty scoffs not believing the last bit, Andy and Sharon grin. "We did miss you though." Sharon nods.
"Thanks, I hadn't been to the beach in a very long time." They smile. "Sharon?" He pauses. "I mean Mom." Sharon smiles. "Did you ever get the adoption papers?" Andy looks at Sharon, knowing that it couldn't be easy for him to bring up the topic. Sharon shakes her head sitting up. He nods his head sadly. Andy holds Sharon's arm when she wants to say something. He shakes his head at her not wanting to ruin their surprise.
"Honey, it's going to happen though." Rusty nods sadly again, the truth was that he wanted only one thing for his birthday to really finally be a part of this family. He sighs and looks at Sharon. "Rusty, you are my son, our son." She clarifies when Andy holds her hand sitting up with her. "I don't need a paper." Rusty smiles sitting up too.
"I know, it's just it will be nice, it will be nice when I have the paper." Sharon smiles at him as he comes around and kisses her cheek. "I'll take the couch." They nod. "Can I open the doors?" Andy smiles.
"Son like Mother," he tickles Sharon's waist she squirms. "Of course you can." Andy tells him as he says goodnight. They wait for him to leave when Sharon looks at him.
"He doesn't think we remember." Andy agrees. They wait and when they don't hear anything they stand up and walk inside, going to the living room holding hands, Rusty stands in front of a present and a cake. He looks up when he hears Sharon and Andy. "You'd think we'd forget?" Andy asks, Rusty doesn't look up.
"Honey?" Sharon approaches him worried slipping her hand from Andy's hold. She hesitantly runs her hand down Rusty's arm. "We tried waiting till midnight but…"
"Seven minutes." Andy looks at the clock. Rusty looks at him and back down at the cake. "What is it son?" Andy walks over to him. He shakes his head looking at Rusty.
"I get a birthday cake?" He asks confused, Sharon sighs taking a step closer lifting his chin.
"Why wouldn't you?" He takes her hand in his. "Come on your turning eighteen, you deserve to welcome it with a cake. And so much more." She stands here now not remembering what she did before them, how her life had turned from ordinary to extraordinary. How not only had both of them opened her up to them and slowly to the team but even to her own children, she was happy and filled with love because of them.
"I just haven't had many birthday cakes." Andy gives him a side hug.
"Well I promise you'll have one ever year from now on as long as I am around alright?" Sharon smiles at them as Rusty looks back at the cake. "Three minutes." Andy whispers, Rusty looks up at the clock.
"Wait." They look at Rusty unsure how to stop time he steps away from Andy and stands in front of them he wanted to tell Andy something but finally had gain courage. "Um, Sharon and you are getting married?" Andy nods. "And I wanted to ask you…" Andy looks at Sharon and smiles. It seemed like all three of them were on the same page.
"I think you need to open the gift." Rusty frowns looking at the box tied in a ribbon unsure of what he had to say had anything to do with the box. "Just let's blow the candles," Andy moves to the cake lighting the eighteen candles. Sharon and Andy wrap their hands behind each other's backs singing happy birthday to him proudly with a large smile across their faces. Rusty smiles and feels peace within himself for the first time in a long time. He blows out the candle as the clock chimes softly Andy and Sharon clapping and giving him hugs. It is all silent to him the only thing he is sure of is the love filling the room at that moment. Sharon gives him the box both hands clasped together in front of her smiling like he has never seen her smile before. He unties the ribbon and sets the box down opening the lid and smiling when he finds a sealed letter. He puts it aside and takes out the other papers, he reads them and looks up at her in shock looking back down at them.
"I thought you said." He flips it open.
"I got it when you were in the hospital." Sharon wipes her tear. "You are legally my son." She says as her voice cracks. "I wanted to celebrate on a special day so I waited." Rusty rushes to her and hugs her tightly. "I love you. My life would be so dull without you." They all laugh even Sharon through her tears. He pulls out and looks at the papers again, he looks back at the box. And walks over to it looking at this one with more seriousness, he sits down on the couch and looks at Andy when the words he reads over and over finally register.
"I filled them out, if you want to they just need your signature." Rusty lets out a deep breath looking at the papers. "I'd also like you to take my last name, Sharon will be too once we get married." Rusty wipes his eyes. "Rusty Flynn it has a nice ring to it." Andy says nervously. Sharon watches Rusty too, she knew how much Andy wanted Rusty to see him as a father, how much the two loved each other. "What do you say? You can think about it and you don't have to say…"
"Yes." Rusty lets out immediately. Sharon bounces on her toes excited for both of them. He looks around the room.
"What do you need?"
"A pen." Andy chuckles walking to the desk and returning handing him a pen. Rusty signs all the marked spots. "Does Emma have to look at it?" Andy nods smiling at the sound of Rusty's delicate voice.
"Just to make sure you agree to everything, like she did with Sharon." Rusty stands up and hugs Andy, Andy sighs hugging him in return. Thank you is all Rusty is capable of saying, it was a final moment one he hoped for but didn't expect, one that had him smiling. "You are my son with or without those papers." Sharon puts a hand on Rusty's back wiping her tears they hug together.
"You two idiots!" Sharon says loudly slapping both of their arms both men look at her as she shakes her head. "You guys drove me crazy not expressing your feelings." Andy chuckles grabbing her cheeks and kissing her she hugs him. "We will be the Flynn family." Sharon frowns looking at Rusty. "You are not allowed to become a Flynn before me." Rusty and Andy laugh when she uses a defensive voice. "I'm serious. I got the ring…" Rusty puts his hand on her arm knowing that as much as she's playing, she also wanted more than anything to marry Andy.
"It's fine Sharon." She takes his hand. "Thank you, both of you. I never thought I'd have a family."
"Well now you do." Sharon cups his cheeks, "and I will be by your side even when you don't want me." Rusty nods it was exactly what he wanted. "Let's cut this cake." Andy hands Rusty a knife and he slices three pieces they all sit around together enjoying each other's company, laughing and joking until each one has had another slice of cake. Sharon gets up and comes back with another gift.
"Sharon, please I don't…"
"You don't like gifts I know but I think you'll like this one." Rusty open it as Sharon sits on Andy's lap, he rubs her thighs. "Is it okay?" Rusty examines it quietly. "Andy said it was the best one." Rusty looks up.
"A chess set."
"Well the other one wasn't ever yours you borrowed it from school and they let you have it." Rusty opens it and sighs seeing the new pieces.
"Thank you guys." He says sincerely, "nothing beats getting a family in a box," Sharon smiles, "but this is perfect. Will you play a game with me later?" He looks at Andy. "We've never played each other. Nick says you're good."
"I haven't played in years but of course." Andy says sincerely. "Let's all get some sleep." They both nod. "You sure you don't want to cuddle?" He asks Rusty, he smiles.
"I'm sure. Thank you." Sharon moves to clean. "I got it Sharon, I think I'll have another piece." When she's going to protest about too much sugar Andy tugs on her arm stopping her. "Good night."
As Andy is drying off after his shower, Sharon stays in longer washing her hair. "He looked really happy didn't he?" Andy smiles at the happy tone in Sharon's voice. "Thank you for telling him you want to give him your last name." She turns off the water and reaches for her towel and it's gone, she peeks out. "Andy can," she shakes her head as he holds up her towel on his fingertips several feet away from her, "you please give me my towel?" She says the last part with humor in her voice.
"Hmm, I rather you come get it." She rolls her eyes stepping out of the shower onto the small rug. He smiles as she looks at the floor he walks over and wraps her into the towel, sparing her from wetting the floor. She thanks him as he rubs her back and arms.
"What was the purpose, you've seen me naked, even just a second ago in the shower." He chuckles as she wraps her arms around him.
"Not nearly enough." She smiles letting him kiss her softly. "And please don't thank me, I'm not doing it as a favor to win you over." She tilts her head confused. "Rusty, he's my son too. Asking him to…" She stops him not needing an explanation.
"I know that and I'm sorry. He was so excited when he saw those adoption papers. Thank you for having everything ready." Andy smiles. "And I would never take away the fact that he is your son." He hums wrapping his arms around her. "What time does everyone get here?"
"Noon." He says looking at her. "And the team may be short a few," he shrugs, "they're working." She nods. "Beautiful?" She looks at him and smiles when he leans down and kisses her walking backwards to the bedroom.
"Andy?" She giggles onto his lips as he takes off the towel. "No doors." He grunts onto her lips pulling out and looking at the bedroom entrance which has no door like she said a moment ago. "I think it's built for two but we are not alone anymore." When he looks back at her she's grinning. "Come on." She picks up the towel and dries her hair as Andy brings her his shirt, she shifts into it and follows him into bed. She takes her spot tangling herself into Andy. "Goodnight," She sighs as her body relaxes into his embrace.
"Don't steal the sheet this time." She giggles.
"I only do it when we aren't like this. I get cold." Andy smiles kissing the top of her head pulling her tighter against him. "You're like my own personal heating pad." He chuckles.
"At your service." They both smile closing their eyes.
