Hey guys, I finally managed to write the last bit of this chapter & I can't tell you how much I loved reading your reviews and seeing all those new follows/favourites, you are simply the greatest!
Also, as of today I'm an aunt of five nephews since the twins were born this morning and I couldn't be any happier that's why I decided to share this new chapter with you (if that makes any sense^^).

-/-It was around two hours later when Amelia started to stir next to JJ who immediately woke up, hoping she would feel better after her nap.
Tightening her hold on her JJ waited until she opened her eyes and took in her surroundings.
"Hey Lia, did you sleep well?" She quietly asked and looked into her eyes, trying to gauge her mood.
"Emmy?" Amelia's eyes instantly filled with tears as the name escaped her lips and she frantically scanned the room.
"Emily is still at work but if it would make you feel better I'm sure we could call her." JJ quickly proposed, remembering Emily's last message and hoping it would help Amelia to be able to speak her for a moment.
Receiving a nod JJ pulled out her phone and dialed Emily's number, not having to wait long until the brunette picked up.
"Hey JJ, how are you holding up?" Emily's voice was filled with concern as she could already guess something was not quite right if JJ called her at work.
"It's not easy, Amelia is missing you. She just woke up." JJ let out a long breath and looked over to where Amelia sat expectantly.
"Maybe I shouldn't have gone back to work so soon." Emily felt guilty for leaving JJ with Amelia when the girl clearly hadn't been ready to deal with another separation even if it was merely a temporary one.
"Don't think like that Em, please." JJ quietly pleaded, not wanting her to feel bad about her decision or the current situation. "Just...talk to her for a moment, ok? It might help her." When Emily agreed JJ handed the phone to Amelia who was desperate to hear Emily's voice and watched as the girl listened to what Emily told her.
"Hey sweetie, I heard you miss me?" Emily gently asked on the other end and JJ could see Amelia nod and quietly whisper "Emmy".
"Don't be too sad bug, I'm sure JJ will cuddle with you and read you a book if you want to. And hey, how about you and JJ pick me up after work? That way you don't have to wait until I come home." Emily now suggested, knowing JJ most likely wouldn't have a problem with her plan.
"I come to you?" Amelia disbelievingly asked and Emily couldn't help but smile at her reaction, wishing she could see her face in this very moment.
"Yes, sweetie. You can come to me. But before that you and JJ can play a little more, ok?" It was after an "Ok" from Amelia and Emily telling her to hand the phone back to JJ that she told her about the suggestion.
"I hope it's ok that I told her you two would come here after work." Emily made sure JJ was okay with the change of plans too and was relieved when she agreed.
"Of course. I'm sure a bit fresh air will help her feel better. I think we will take the bus though so we can ride home with you." In this moment she was more than glad that they had been foresightful enough to install a car seat for Amelia in both of their cars.
"Alright, it's settled then. See you later, I love you Jen." Ending the phone call JJ focused on Amelia again and figured out what to do next.
"You wead to me Jenny?" Amelia asked after some contemplation and when JJ nodded her plan through with a smile on her lips she ran towards her room to pick some books for them to read.
After being snuggled up against JJ while looking through several books and lunch time Amelia finally started to settle down and come to terms with the situation even though she frequently asked if it was time to see Emily yet.
It was around the fifth time she asked for the brunette when JJ could finally give her the green light to get ready for their small trip.
"Don't forget your jacket Lia." JJ called from the hall into the girl's bedroom where she knew she was currently getting dressed. A few moments later Amelia came out of her room, her arms stuck in the sleeves of her jacket and her shoelaces still open.
"You help me Jenny?" Amelia meekly asked and JJ almost had to grin at the picture in front of her.
"Of course honey, come here." Setting her down on the small bench she made quick work of the shoelaces before going over to straighten the jacket and zip it up.
"Now you're ready to go." JJ smiled and took Amelia's hand in hers before leaving the house and locking the door behind them, making sure all windows were closed.
"We see Emmy now?" Amelia was getting restless once again, needing the reassurance that they were really going to meet Emily now after having to wait for what felt like an eternity for the little girl.
"Yes, we're seeing her real soon." With a squeeze of Amelia's hand they went off to the bus station and sitting on the blonde's lap Amelia watched the scenery outside until they arrived at their destination.
Entering the FBI building Amelia felt more secure on JJ's arm until they reached the floor of the BAU.
Walking down the familiar hall JJ quickly spotted Emily who was sitting at her desk and putting away the last files of the day. Amelia noticed her mere seconds later and struggled out of JJ's hold to run off towards the other agent.
"Emmy!" Excited shouts filled the office and Emily turned around just in time to catch Amelia who was throwing herself at the brunette.
Lifting her onto her lap she wrapped her arms around the girl and waited until she had caught her breath and had her fair share of cuddles.
"Hey there speedy Gonzales, did you have a good time with JJ?" Emily smiled and was glad when she nodded.
"But I missed you lots." Amelia grew more solemn and Emily couldn't help but hug her tightly once again.
"It's okay now bug, I'm all set to go home with you." Kissing the top of her head she forgot about their surroundings for a moment and solely focused on Amelia, not noticing how Spencer and Morgan watched in awe.
"Hey Em." JJ eventually interrupted their moment after catching up on Amelia who had run ahead. Smiling up at her she waited for JJ to lean in for a brief kiss and hello before Amelia began to squirm in her arms, starting to get restless again.
"Hey, how about we get some ice cream before we head home?" Emily asked after setting Amelia down and looked at JJ to see if she was ok with her idea.
"Yes, ice cweam!" Amelia excitedly agreed and tugged on both JJ's and Emily's hands in an attempt to get them move faster.
"You're going to spoil her rotten Em." JJ couldn't hold back a good-natured laugh and Emily had to smile too knowing she wouldn't mind doing so as long as they got to see Amelia this happy.
