Oh, Hi. So, its been a while. How have you guys been?
Roku: Stop trying to drag this out. Just tell them.
Right. So... I finally got back to this a week ago and all week I was struggling to get through writing up a chapter. And then I had a moment (Roku: more like weekend) of hatred. I hate this story. I'm more developed as a writer now, and I had one of those moments in a writer's life where you look back and cringe at your own writing. I can't stand to continue this, and make future readers read through that crap.
I'm sure you are wondering: Am I deleting it?
I am not deleting either story. I am rewriting the entire story line!
Roku: What? You didn't tell me that!?
If I did, you'd have blabbed about it before I could get to that point.
Anyways, That is correct! I am rewriting BOTH stories to improved, edited versions. A LOT will change from the previous versions. That means the new stories are worth trying to read!
They will follow closely to the original plot, however, I will actually be more informant, more descriptive, and more fluid with a lot of things.
Roku: Does this mean you'll be active again?
YES! I will be doing as regularly scheduled updates as possible for me. I can not have a set schedule yet, (Author-chan is still bad at set dates) but I will try to be as close to a schedule as I can.
The previous versions will not be deleted, and The Glass Rose will be marked with a 'discontinued' in the description following a 'this has been rewritten as...' sort of thing. I have not set a name for either story yet, but if you have suggestions or would like me to keep the same name, let me know!
Rewrites will begin following the post of this notice.
What does that mean for characters?
Many characters will be trashed.
Roku: No respect.
Shut it! I never liked the way I set up Catherine, and I hated how cliche and tacky I made her. So that probably means she'll get trashed too.
Roku: No respect!
Roku! anyways, I know many liked Cat, but I plan to develop her - er, the future replacement of Cat- into a much better character. I plan to write all characters thoroughly. I don't feel I wrote anyone well last time, so I'm taking a second chance at this. If I fu-(roku shouts angrily about my language) screw this up, then I will return back to the original stories and continue from there.
Also, I'm not going to be shy on language this time. I'm not using 'fudge' if someone says fuck in the story. That doesn't me Cat will be saying "f this! F you! F me, Sebastian!" but there will be no kindergarten cuss words in replacement. Just be warned. There will be a warning each chapter if there is heavy language.
I want to thank you all for following, liking, commenting, and such on this story. I plan to reach higher expectations this time around. I don't want to be a crappy writer like I felt I was before.
