Author's Note
Let me not rant about how I feel like shooting myself for not updating right now. I would like to thank SilverSapphire34523, Kasumi Yukimura, Ishita.d, ShadowMaster2014 and Scarlet Blue Frost for reviewing. Thank You so much! I would also like to thank Vergil Leonidas especially for hanging around with me ever since I first began. Thanks a lot, really!
Anyways, ONTO THE CHAPTER!
Note: This is my mind made original fanfiction. Any resemblance is purely a coincidence.
Disclaimer: Ok. So this chapter has a lot of real life references to places and hotels, and I own NOTHING. Anime goes to Hiro Mashima and all the other references go their respectful owners.

"I'm sorry, I know it is no time to be disturbing you and giving you urgent calls but it is something really important, Jellal."
"Its fine. What happened?"
"Actually Jellal…." Ultear explained the whole situation to him, and by the time she finished Jellal's eyes were as big as saucers.
"Damn! You gotta be kidding me…"

"Please tell me you are kidding, Ul…" Jellal ran a hand through his hair, really tensed.
"I wished so, Jellal, I wished so…" Ultear replied, sounding just as tensed.
"Anyways… what is our next move then? Do we still attend the meeting tomorrow?"
"Of course, you will attend that meeting. But immediately after the meeting ends, you both will leave and contact me through the lacrima. I will tell you my location – which would be near, don't worry – and you meet me there. Zeref shall accompany me then and you will go to Brain. Understood?" Ultear explained the plot, hurriedly.
"Understood. I will inform Zeref. Anyways, later. Wouldn't want getting my identity revealed."
"Yes. And sorry, again. Later." And the link cut off. Jellal breathed a sigh and exited the stall. Upon exiting, he found Zeref trying to fix his already perfect hair, looking intently into the mirror.
"Zeref?" Jellal questioned.
Zeref turned around at hearing Jellal's voice. "Oh – Jellal, finally! I thought you died in there."
Jellal sighed, "Yeah, I almost did."
"What did she say?" Zeref asked seriously.
"Bad news. She said- wait. How did you-?"
"I understood that the beep was from your arc, and before anyone else could follow you, I did and since you were talking, no, screaming actually about the intensity of your shock, I obviously overheard that you were talking to Ultear." Zeref explained, "But since later you casted the sound proof spell, I couldn't hear the rest of the conversation, so please elaborate on it."
"I see. Well, anyhow, we got trouble." Jellal crossed his arms and explained to his friend all Ultear discussed with him and what their next plans are going to be.
"This is serious trouble. I don't understand why Brain is… anyway. Let us go back right now, otherwise you are sure to be in deeper trouble than this." Zeref gestured towards the exit and Jellal nodded, following suit.

As Jellal and Zeref returned to their seats, Jellal was showered with questions. Everybody wanted to ask everything all at the same time and when they finally calmed down due to a not-so-pleasant glare from Erza, everybody quieted down and let Erza do the questioning.
"Are you fine, Jellal?" Erza asked with worry present in her voice, "You just suddenly rushed out!"
Jellal sighed again, for the millionth time that day, "Yes, don't worry, I am fine. I just… choked a little on water, but I am fine now." He replied with a smile.
"Ok… glad you're fine. But why did you take so long in there? You are really ok, right?" Erza questioned again, determined to make sure her friend is absolutely fine.
"Er, actually, I was about to come back, when I received a… urgent call. So I had to answer to it before I returned which caused me to… delay." Jellal answered half-truthfully. He was not totally lying, was he?
"Oh, I see… well, good to know you are ok." Erza smiled, finally satisfied.
"Egjackly!" Natsu commented, with a face full of dim sum.
"First eat then speak, you idiot." Lucy scolded, scowling, then turned to Jellal, "you know, Erza was about to barge in there herself, if you didn't show up in 2 minutes."
"Shut your mouth, Lucy." Erza blushed, flat out refusing to admit that she really was about to do that.
Jellal chuckled, "Then should I have waited another 3 minutes?" and smiled.
"And you too." Erza commented, obviously embarrassed.
And then good ol' Gray's mind decided to bug Jellal more, "Oh wait. Whose call was it, Jellal? I mean, you said urgent call so I was wondering if it was related to the tour or something?"
"Ah, that. No, it was not regarding the tour… it was just Ultear, Gray." Jellal replied, trying as best to sound stress-free while he was really stressed about what she told him… but he would not let it get between their city-trip now.
"Who is Ultear?" Erza asked with a hint of jealousy in her voice which she refused to show anyone else. Who is this Ultear? Not anyone Jellal likes, right? She thought.
Zeref decided to help his dear friend out a little, "She, Erza, is a very close friend of ours (TBP), working with me as my colleague. And no, you don't need to worry about her, Jellal does not like her that way. They are like brother and sister."
At this, Gray was genuinely surprised, and patted Zeref on the back for his beautiful reply.
"My, My," Mirajane looked at the match-makers Zeref and Gray and thought about how proud she was. She trained them quiet well, she noted.
Lucy noticed Mirajane smirking and decided to ask her, "Hey Mira. Why are you smiling like that? Why do you suspicious look like the cat that swallowed the pigeon?"
"Canary." Juvia commented from beside.
"Uh, what?"
"She looks like the cat that swallowed the canary, is the phrase, Lucy." Juvia smiled, correcting her.
"I once had a very large cat… but not my point. Mirajane?" Lucy turned to Mirajane.
"Well, look at Gray and Zeref. Did you notice how Zeref so perfectly answered Erza and Gray praising him? I'd say I trained them quite well." She smiled so angelically, that it was… creepy.
"Riiight… of course." Lucy backed away, terrified of Mirajane, the match-maker.
Meanwhile, Erza and Jellal both blushed bright red.
"Ahem, I think your answer contained unnecessary information, Zeref." Jellal spoke up, knowing very well it was Mirajane who tainted Gray and Zeref's fragile minds.
"Hmm? No, I simply answered what was asked." Zeref smirked. Yes, he really heard Erza's thoughts, and no, he was not trying to stalk Erza's thoughts, he was just very interested to hear about Erza's opinions on Ultear, and that was it. What good a friend would he be if he did not help him get the love of his life?
Erza blushed and wondered if Zeref was some kind of mind reader. She looked away and glanced at her watch, only to realize that they had arranged to go to the newest water park, which held a Dolphin show today at 2:30 PM, "Come on now! Let us finish our lunch fast and head to the water park, guys! Don't want to miss the show, now do we?"
"Ok!" All of them cheered and finished their lunch.

"Oh that was so wonderful! That dolphin was so talented!" Lucy spoke enthusiastically, having just walked out of the show.
Mirajane smiled, "Oh you are right! And the time when the dolphin suddenly noticed Zeref and actually head in his direction! So sweet!"
"And the way he backed away too!" Lucy laughed.
Zeref groaned, "I am still here, you know. I can hear you."
"By the way, where are we supposed to go next?" Gray asked, walking with hands behind his back and Juvia clinging to him as usual.
Natsu replied, "Well, we have to head to the Opera House at 6, so we still have 2 and a half hours or so."
"Hmm, we can go anywhere, or maybe rest a little, whichever." Erza suggested.
"I'd say we rest a little, because we have been walking all day…" Jellal spoke, feeling a little tired from all the walking and everything. Also, he was kind of tensed by what Ultear told, and he needed a bit of time to think about it and discuss it with Zeref again too.
"I agree!" Lucy groaned, "I am so tired!"
And one by one, everyone agreed to have a little bit of rest from the trip, and decided to head back home for a while.

Dark Forest
Time Check: 4:30 PM
They say the forest has eyes of its own, a mind of its own. Maybe it was even true at one point, at the dark hours of the night, when you can hear the leaves and feel the cold gaze of the trees on your back.
This forest was no different. Even on bright days like these, there was overwhelming darkness looming in the forest for the canopy of the heavy trees could not let the light penetrate and interrupt the sleep of the shadows.
And yet, this forest was different. One could not just pass and not notice the sense of unusual darkness. The sense of something extremely dark being plotted in the forest could not be left unnoticed. But of course, it was not a problem for the forest's current temporary residents, as that is exactly what they dealt with: Darkness.
"Oracion Seis, Assemble!" A mysterious buff man's voice rang out throughout the forest. He was a tall man, dark and with weird black markings drawn all over his face and torso. He had white, long hair and his eyes, black and cold as ice. His very aura oozed of darkness.
The man stood tall holding a staff with a skull-shaped hilt in a dark hut with a flaming torch being the only source of light in the small hut.
As his voice rang, 4 people walked into the hut, 3 guys and a girl. Another man who was already in the hut awoke from his deep slumber, stood up, and walked to stand beside his other companions, arms crossed and an icy glare.
All 5 of them stood in front of their leader with respect, as he was the one who had taught them everything they knew today; the one who has taken them in when there was no hope left for those little lives.
Yes, it was true what he led them to do was wrong; they were a part of one of the worst dark guilds and their path was one of shadows, which led them nowhere but to darkness. Yet, this was what they were led to believe ever since he saved them, and what better would a few young toddlers know about the world? Therefore, what little humanity had left in them was used to respect.
"Oracion Seis. What are the updates?" He asked in a commanding voice, glare stern.
The man with maroon hair and a scar on his right eye spoke first, "I have news, Master, about Nirvana…" He bore a large snake, a violet poisonous one, wrapped around his torso and neck as if it were a part of him.
"Go on."
"We all know that Nirvana is hidden in this forest… but, I have also discovered that Nirvana cannot be unlocked by anyone, but one… which means, that even if we were able to locate it, we cannot unlock it…" He hissed, no better than the snake wrapped around him.
"What? Are you certain, Cobra?"
"I am, Master…" The man, now revealed to be Cobra, spoke with certainty in his voice.
"Then, who is the one able?" The leader asked.
"It is Altair, Sire…" Cobra answered.
The leader gulped, himself afraid of that one great name, "This is one difficult situation… we will have to force help, but that man…"
And then the other man who had been in slumber before interrupted, "You worry too much, Father… do you not remember, her, the one who Altair and Zee both listen to, without question?"
"Midnight, you don't mean…?"
"Yes… the Time Sorceress. I knew that Altair was the one who could possibly unlock Nirvana, as I had asked Cobra a few hours ago when he was still investigating; I have already contacted her and got the ok from her as well. We have a guest tomorrow, Father…"
The leader then smirked, "I knew I could rely on you, Midnight… you make me proud."
"Thank You, Father…" Midnight had a smug look plastered on his face, "now we just need to prepare to welcome our guest tomorrow…"
A laugh then echoed throughout the forest, the sign of something wrong about to take place…

"I hate you, Ul, you're a bad person." Jellal spoke, talking to Ultear on his arc again, with Zeref beside him, to discuss what their next moves will be, one again.
"Hahaha! Well, it was not my fault, you know it…" She replied.
Suddenly, there was a ring on Zeref's own arc, and he excused himself to answer it. Zeref walked to the other side of the yard and picked up the call.
"Z (Z-ee)?" A familiar voice spoke.
"Sir Warrod? I am speaking." Zeref replied.
"Z, where are you and Zion! I tried calling him but it was busy!" He spoke with desperation and worry in his voice.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Warrod. Actually we were conversing with Ultear on his arc, um, I'm sorry…"
"Its fine. I have called to give news. We have yet another problem."
"Not again!"
