Pokѐmon Journey I: Violet's Trial

Chapter 21: Rescuing Lostelle & Isle Three

Violet's Point of View:

Amethyst glided on the wind with her wings as we fast approached Three Isle. I was quiet as I sat on her shoulders, and she carried us over the deep waters. How did the old man know we were looking for Lostelle? How did he know that Amethyst already knew this ancient move, but it wasn't 'complete'? I needed to apparently know the name of the move and it wouldn't hurt Amethyst any longer, at least, hopefully not as much as it did now a days.

I felt Chalcedony rub his face up against my own, and I turned to look at his worried eyes. "Don't worry about me Chalcedony; I'm fine, just thinking is all, promise." He still looked at me skeptically as did the others, but otherwise left me be to my own thoughts. And how did that old man even know there were bikers on the island, let alone taking it over? Questions plagued my mind as we fast approached the island with the wind playing in Amethyst's favor.

I then saw a glimpse of what the old man had been talking about. I saw a poor woman on the beach, a young one that was probably no older than her thirties, dressed in a uniform to greet people to the Three Isle, which was surrounded by at least four bikers that continued to go around in loops centered around her. The men would rush forward and try to grab at her but the woman kept swatting them away when they got to close to her.

"Let's go you guys, let's start with saving that woman." Amethyst dived from where we were and we sped toward the woman. She suddenly saw us, and started waving her hands in order to point herself out. I pulled out a hand from my sides and held it out to her. She quickly grabbed it, and Amethyst lurched up into the sky where we could pull her onto Amethyst's back where she was safe. With the woman out of the way, it was safe to attack and get these guys out of here.

"Fire blast Amethyst!" My charizard ended up blasting the entire beach with scolding flames that I heard the bikers cry out from within. When my fire pokemon let up, the bikers were all burnt with some fire still on them and their bikes a piece of trash, no longer usable due to the fact they could ignite on the next hit with gas inside. They started to run to the center of the island and Amethyst attacked again, hitting their bikes that blew up upon impact from the heat and ignition. I could see the evident anger on their faces, but their fear was much stronger of me and my pokemon and continued to run, even after their precious bikes had been destroyed. I watched as their human figures faded away in the distance as they headed in the direction of the town, and I looked down at my fire type.

"Let's go, girl." She grunted in reply and sped off toward the town with the woman holding onto me for dear life. I heard her shriek as we made our way over to the town and watched from above as the men shouted at their leader in the town what had happened. I watched many children of the town look above to where I was and I saw them pointing in my direction.

"Chalcedony, Amber, go and keep the town's people safe." My two pokemon nodded and leapt off Amethyst onto the houses before they jumped before large bunches of people. At first I saw that the bikers only laughed at them, but after Amber got her 'happy to shock anyone who gets in my way' look, they turned skittish and ran for the boats. Only a few stayed behind and their leader, a fat and muscular looking man with ripped clothes and a decorated leather jacket, bald head and a pissed off expression. I rolled my eyes and motioned to Amethyst to land. She did, hitting the ground right before the leader. She blew a light flame in his face as a warning, and when he came back at full force to punch her, it wasn't her who stopped the punch…

It was me.

In the time he took to throw his punch at my precious gem, I'd jumped off her back and stood before her with a face filled with nothing but absolute rage. I pushed against the hand, it rolled back on the wrist, and I could feel the strain under it as the man threw his other fist to get some ground, but couldn't make any head way as I did the same thing with that hand as well.

"Don't you dare touch my Amethyst!" I'll admit it, when I want to be, I can be pretty possessive and protective, especially of my girls and guys on my team. And this guy that tried to punch her was most definitely not an exception. With my grip on his enclosed fists, I summoned the strength like that Amethyst did from me during her rage attack, and I lifted the man off the ground and swung his body into a large set of trees with wide trunks the size of all my pokemon together in width. I watched him cry out as his lower back hit it and I released his hands to let him continue down the tree line.

My arms crossed themselves and my nostrils flared. Amethyst nervously walked around to me, scratching the side of her chin with a single digit before she nuzzled my shoulder with her face and then hugged me.

"Rhu…" she muttered to me.

"Sorry girl, any time someone tries to take a piece out of any of you seems to make me think of when Rose almost got you, it pisses me off and makes me have a rage attack of my own." I sighed and smiled softly up at her.

"You damn brat!" The leader of the bikers quickly got to his feet and ran at us, another fist raised. I raised my hands, ready to fucken murder him when Amethyst got before me and blew her powerful new attack in his face. The white fire that glowed hit also the leader head on and most of the rest of his lackeys that he had with him. My smaller pokemon joined next to Amethyst and unleashed powerful attacks of their own of thuneder, shadow ball and dragon rage

Ruby and Sapphire even let themselves out of their pokeballs and used silver wind and blizzard. All attacks were taken in by Amethyst's attack and swarmed around the bikers in a violent attack that devoured all. The men were tossed and thrown from the attack; and it looked like they'd finally had enough when they looked over at me. The leader's eyes bulged and even with all the burns, cuts, bruises and pain, they climbed to their feet and hurried off.

"Run! It's Violet Vilmos!" It was the last word I heard one of them shout before they disappeared out of sight, their bikes left behind in their fear, but they were hardly usable from the damage they took from the attack that my pokemon put upon them.

"Your power is frightening as well as it is helpful." I turned my head to the woman that I had saved and a few of the people that dared to come near me. "You are Violet Vilmos?"

"Yeah, sorry if I caused a bit of damage…" I rubbed the back of my head nervously. "I was more concerned about the bikers hurting any of you at the time."

"Well, regardless of the damage your pokemon and yourself did, we are thankful for what you did for our town," one of the men said, "And in all reality, you only caused some ground to be dug up and some trees to be taken down, I'm been meaning to do that anyway, so you actually did me a huge favor."

"Well that's good to hear." I giggled behind a hand but stopped when I felt my jacket get tugged on. I blinked and looked down to my side to see a large group of children that had gathered around me.

"You were so cool, Miss Violet!" a little girl squealed to me, her blue eyes twinkling with admiration.

"I wish I can become like a powerful trainer like you!" A little boy, with short brown hair, declared with awe clearly visible on his inspired, slightly pinked face.

"How did you get so strong?" Another little boy inquired, his dark brown eyes dancing with the sense of wanting to gain knowledge.

"Training," I replied simply. "Training, training, training, sleep, training, training, training, eat, and a powerful battle with tough opponents and friends and family every now and then." The children all gushed out at how cool I was and I lowered myself so I was eye level with most of them.

"Miss Violet, can I have your autograph?" I blinked in surprise. I'd never been asked that before in all my life except for the one time with Nurse Joy that was stationed over at the entrance to the Rock Tunnel.

"I don't mind at all, how many of you want one?" I saw all the children's hands fly up into the air and I fell back because of it. "Wow… okay, you guys, I'll give you all an autograph, but you guys gotta wait a little bit."

"Wait?" One of the kids wailed, obviously frustrated by the fact that I couldn't give it to them now.

"I promised a friend of mine's friend that I'd bring back his niece, so I need to head into the Berry Forest and find her first, then I'll come back and sign as many autographs as you guys want and I'll let you guys meet and say high to all my pokemon. Can we do that?"

The children started to shout and cheer before many of them ran into their houses to get paper and pens for me to sign with, and I sighed. I took that moment to climb up on Amethyst and I nodded to the adults as I did so.

"We'll be waiting here for when you get back Miss Vilmos. And thank you for all you've done, from all of us." I nodded out to the crowd and the children left their houses with items in had just long enough to watch me fly off, Amethyst gliding on the wind and the children chasing after us toward the back corner of the town where they stopped and watched us disappear into the Berry Forest.

With the rest of Three Isle saved now, all I had left for business here was to find Lostelle. The old man said she'd be here in the woods, but he also said that Amethyst would learn her most powerful move here, or that I would figure out its name in a dire situation when the one I'm protecting is in fear. Does that mean Lostelle is in danger? But what's dangerous about this forest?

It was true; the forest had almost an angelic vibe to it as the light streamed through the tree branches that were hanging over my head, filled with an unlimited supply of berries of all types. Some of the berries here I'd never seen before on certain hidden branches or under bushes. I took a few of them to take back home for my mother to try and back with them and see how they come out (and find out if they are worth cooking, but a lot of them just looked so good!) There were a few ponds of water that were in the area that I saw many pokemon drinking from. It was an environment that was pretty lax about humans coming here; the pokemon didn't seem skittish at all. It was shocking compared to what I was used to back on the main land. It must be because not too many Team Rocket operations can make it out this far.

With how peaceful it was, I was able to enjoy it and take in the sights. I sighed as I felt my pace slow down. I felt my eyes dropping slightly and I blinked many times to keep them open, but I was lacking some energy now that I was in such a relaxing area

"Don't fall asleep on us, Violet; you can't do that just yet. That little girl is only up ahead that you need to bring back." I heard Stein's voice in my head. "And you have a move to learn."

I blinked and looked around at the area while I heard his voice; he didn't seem to want to make himself present at the time. I opened my bag to check on his journey and I saw a fainted glow from it before it faded away.

"Hello? Who are you?" I looked up ahead in the clearing and saw a spot in the back of the forest where more light came in from above near a large patch of many kinds of berries. A young girl stood next to them, only about nine in age as I recalled being told to. Lostelle wore a sundress of sky blue color on her and an old and tattered baseball hat that covered the top of her head; she had her hair pulled back and through the small hole in behind it where it was adjustable. Sneakers were on her feet, stained from the berries juices, and old gloves were on her hands. Her hair was sandy blond and she looked up at me curiously with her bright maroon eyes.

"I'm Violet, a friend of your Dad's friend, Celio." I slowly walked toward her with my pokemon following after me before darting about the area to eat a few berries. "Your uncle Donny asked me to bring you home, your father was bailing out on the floor in the game corner."

"Again?" She sighed and set down the two large baskets she carried in her arms as well as the basket that was attacked to her back. All of them appeared to be filled with berries, though each basket tended to hold only a certain flavor with the berries. "I'm sorry about my Dad; things haven't exactly been the same since my mother left."

"I know the feeling." My own thoughts about my father came to play and how hard it was to adapt after he disappeared.

She smiled at me. "I think you do, you look like you've carried the weight of the world on your shoulders a time or two, you've suffered emotionally too."

"Are you sure you're nine Lostelle?" I joked with a chuckle.

"Are you sure your thirteen, Violet Vilmos?" She fired that one right back at me and I snorted a laugh at her.

"I think so."

"Then I think so too, we do act a lot different than our ages suggest though."

"That - I can agree with you on."

A sudden rustle in the bushes caught me off guard, and my reflexes got ahead of me when I raced over to Lostelle and held her close to me in my arms. My pokemon gathered before me as protection and soon out of the bushes came a hypno. It looked angry for some reason and used its powers to throw all my available pokemon off to the side. It then looked back over to us and grinned with a deep red blush on its face.

"What the hell?" I watched the strange pokemon dance around.

"It's the perverted Hypno that lives here in the forest!" Lostelle cried out and clung onto me.

"And why the hell do you still come here with this freak roaming about?" I questioned the girl harshly.

"I needed the berries since Dad scares away all the customers with his crying, so I gathered them and either sold them as is or made them into something-!" She screeched at the end when we were thrown up into the air. I latched my arms around Lostelle's upper legs and waist to keep the perverted pokemon from seeing anything on this little girl and she grabbed onto my chest area to keep her from being thrown off and to keep my shirt down.

"You've got to be fucken kidding me…"

"It was because of that thing that my mother left." Lostelle cried into my hair. "I hoped I would have never seen him again…"

"Don't worry Lostelle, I'll get rid of him." I looked down to my belt and hissed. "Sapphire! Ruby! I could use an extra hand to kick a pervert's ass!" The two balls enlarged themselves on my belt and out came my two pokemon that glared daggers at the pokemon. Ruby lashed out ahead with her super speed and sliced at the pokemon with a fury cutter attack. Sapphire followed soon behind, but the hypno then became angry and used its powers to throw her off to the side while it only did extremely minimal damage, Sapphire was then confused.

"Look out! Sapphire's confused!" I shouted to the others. Most of my pokemon ducked out of the way with the exception of Amethyst who held her back as she tried to attack the others. While they were busy, the hypno then sped over to us and sent a fist at me to separate us. It collided with my face and sent us flying back, but I refused to release Lostelle. When the hypno saw this, he glared and used his powers to center in on my left arm. I could feel the pain in it as he pressed and squeezed until there was a break.

I screamed.

I fell back with Lostelle on top of me, no longer was one of my arms around her to protect her. She fearfully looked up at the hypno and then back to me and I pushed her toward the woods.

"Run! Don't look back!" She nodded and took off running for the tree line. The hypno however didn't like that and raised his hand to stop her and lift her dress. She pressed down against it with a flushing face, crying out and the stupid pokemon laughed at her, using his powers to pull her arms away.

I growled and kicked out the pokemon's legs below it. It only lost its balance, but that was all I needed. I jumped to my feet and used my good arm to sock it right in the face. I kicked it and threw it to the side against one of the trees with my good arm. It was pissed. It used its powers to hold me hostage up in the air before it threw me down into the ground, my back taking the hit and he walked over to me, but in the process of it all, lost his hold on Lostelle. She took off in the direction of my pokemon while the hypno was distracted by me, using its powers to lift my shirt, seeing the material below colored dark blue and purple. It laughed and reached forward to grab it and move it out of the way when I threw a kick right up between its legs and it hissed and fell over. I leapt out of the way of its reach and lowered my shirt to where it should be hurried over to my pokemon on the other side of the clearing, and also in the direction where Lostelle had been.

I suddenly heard her scream and I looked to the sky above as my confused ice type had Lostelle's arms in her talons and dropped her right before the psychotic hypno and she was also on the other side of him, so I couldn't grab her. It was only after that that he released Sapphire from his control and she screeched in anger, diving at him. The hypno threw a psychic move at her and she was thrown back into the trees and cried out on impact.

The hypno approached Lostelle, she backed away in fear but she soon hit a tree, her back met something solid and there was no escape for her. I was too far away. But even so, I could see the fear as plain as ever in her eyes. She'd been still scrambling backward even if she couldn't move backward anymore.

I was then that it came to me. 'You will discover it while protecting the innocent from what they fear most at the time' as the old man had said. And here was the situation, and I now knew the name.

"Amethyst," my pokemon turned over to look at me from where she was and blinked when she saw the serious yet calm look I gave her. "Blast burn!"

When I uttered those two words, the air became still, a silence rang that almost felt like it was smiling at me while I watched my shiny charizard. Everything glowed as it had before, but it was brighter than even like before, the markings spread even up to her head and her eyes glowed before she let out a cry that would have deafen us for the rest of our lives before an explosive beam of fire flew from her mouth and aimed at the hypno.

"Lostelle! Get down!" The girl hit the deck while the hypno tried to use its powers to protect itself, but ended up shooting the attack upwards, still grazing it with the power of the attack.

I jumped to my feet and hurried over to Lostelle from behind the hypno, bringing her out of his reach and surrounded by my other pokemon. "Are you alright? Did he see anything?"

"No, I think the only thing he saw was your bra after he broke you arm." I sighed, relieved that she was alright and that the hypno hadn't gotten to her yet.

But that didn't mean I was still pissed about earlier.

"Barbeque him Amethyst, that bastard fucken tried to rip my bra off." White flames came from around my charizard's body and her attack increased in size and suddenly exploded. I watched the entirety of it and suddenly watched as a body fell toward us on the edge of the island where the trees were gone now from Amethyst's attack. The hypno was far beyond recognition. Its fur was gone and its skin was black, it was still breathing thankfully, I'd never forgive myself if I'd killed it, or if I had to put that burden on Amethyst's shoulders.

"So this is the power of our ancient fire type move…" I sighed. "We'll have to be careful with it." I looked back over at Lostelle. "Let's get out of here, we need to get this hypno to a hospital and a place where they can take care of him and help him get by this… problem with himself and his need to see girls naked."

"Yeah…" She sighed. "Wait, your arm's broken!" The young girl suddenly started to fuss over it and I hissed.

"Not like this hasn't happened before, though the last time it was done was with a curse attack by my archenemy Rose from Team Rocket." I hissed at the pain. "Fucken woman…! It's like facing her all over again…"

"We'd better get you back to the town then; I bet they have people who can help you with your arm. And it's way past time now for me to get back to my Dad, for once, he actually worried over something."

"But you don't want to tell him, do you?"

"Not really, I think this is better kept a secret."

"I agree, let's go before I lose my arm."

"You're not going to lose your arm! It's just broken."

"And just how many broken limbs or bones have you had missy?"

Old Man's Point Of View:

From atop of my mountain I saw on my large rock at the base of the water that led to the waterfall. It gave me the perfect view of everything around from one island to the next and down below. I chuckled when I felt the heat in the air, the shudder of the power.

Oh yes, the girl had discovered the ancient fire type move, blast burn.

"Vince! Look!" The ginger bronze haired boy looked out over the water along with his brown haired friend and watched the white, glowing, fiery explosion that took place on Three Isle and self-destructed in the air. I watched the wind blow the remains of what was burnt toward my mountain and grasped a singed piece of fur, it was yellow in color. So the girl was able to take down that blasted hypno, eh? I laughed and watched the fire disperse and disappear.

"What was that?" the ginger bronze hair asked.

I looked at him in the side of my vision. "That, boys, is the girl's ancient move, she has discovered its name, and brought forth its true power, even more than I thought she was capable of." I took a drink from my beer can and grinned off in the distance. "You boys have worked hard enough, meet the girl at the bottom of the mountain, she'll bring back Lostelle and you all should head back to One Isle, a commotion is going on over at the mountain."

The two boys looked at me curiously before the two of them shrugged and left my mountain, it was once again peaceful, with the smell of ashes on the wind. I sighed.

I truly loved living up here…

Violet's Point of View:

We made it quickly back to town and got my arm bandaged up again. I hissed seeing I had to have a cast again, but it was better than being stuck here or anything like that. Authorities and doctors came and took the hypno back to a hospital to treat it and hopefully get it in a controlled environment so it could learn a few manors. While my pokemon rested, I left the children play with them and I signed their papers. They were happy that I kept my promise. I helped Lostelle bring her three baskets of berries (which surprisingly hadn't be touched at all while all the commotion had been going on) and headed to the dock to catch a ride back to Two Isle. It was quiet mostly between the two of us and the few pokemon that were out (Zircon was wrapped around Amber since one of my arms weren't usable again) while we were on our way back.

Once we arrived back at the island where Lostelle lived, I saw that the boys were waiting there for us. The boys took the berries from us, and Alex helped me off the ship with one arm gone for the time being. He shook his head at me and sighed,

"Only you, Violet."

"You think I planned for a perverted hypno to attack me and rape me with its eyes?" I fired back. He blinked a few times and gapped at me before I covered my mouth and sighed. "Tauros shit."

"What happened?" My brother for some strange reason was seething just as much as Alex was, I could see the fire in their eyes and I knew there was no going back. I was screwed anyway, so what the hell?

"I went and found Lostelle in the berry forest and before we could do anything a perverted hypno came out and attacked us. Using its powerful psychic type moves it threw us and the pokemon everywhere, trying to get a good look at our underclothes or skin. All he saw my bra at most before I kicked the living shit out of him and-"

"We get it Violet," Lostelle groaned and grabbed my good hand. "Other than that nothing happened to us, oh, and she used this really powerful move called 'blast burn' I think. It was really cool. Everything was covered in white fire!" She grinned at the guys. "And now were home, I better get back to my Dad, thanks for everything by the way Violet."

"No problem Lostelle, I'll see ya around sometime, okay?" The little girl nodded to me before she hugged my side and took off toward the game corner. I sighed and looked to the boys.

"So…"

"I am never letting you out of my sight again." Alex stated firmly and it brought a bright red blush to my face. He blinked before he turned away with a hand in his hair and a bright red color in his checks. "Sorry,' he mumbled, "I guess I came off a little too strong."

"I don't mind that," He blinked back at me and chuckled, "but what now? What about you're training with the old man?"

"He told us to leave; he showed us all he could; now we just have to do the same thing you did." Vince explained, "But he did mention something over at One Isle and that we should get back there; something about a commotion?"

"A commotion?" I thought back to that bad feeling I had back on One Isle, and now that I heard this news, it made that feeling in my gut swell in worry. "Something's not right… we need to get back there."

"No one is going to One Isle, I'm afraid." I turned around and faced to voice that told us otherwise and I gasped when I saw a Rocket grunt behind me with the largest grin ever set upon his face. "The island belongs to Team Rocket now, Violet Vilmos, and there's nothing you or your friends can do about it. Moltres will be ours."

Witch's Note:

Okay, now that was a chapter! Even if it was short! We save Three Isle, then we battle a perverted hypno and now Team Rocket have taken over One Isle? Is this messed up or what?

Oh well, gives me fun and full rein for the next chapter! Next we go off to save Moltres from Team Rocket! Doesn't that sound exciting?

Okay you guys, you know the drill! I'd love a Review (or a few) and some Questions for the story! Oh and those of you who guess right on the move, bonus cookies for you! If anyone wants to guess though, one of the boys will get their ancient move next chapter, but who? And what move?

I'll see you all next time! You know I love you all!
