"So when is the baby due?" Hotpie asked, as Gendry did an oil change on Robb's car.
"In about a month and a half." Gendry said not looking up.
"Are you nervous?"
"I was, but I'm feeling better about it now."
"What made you change?" Robb asked looking up from the magazine he was flipping threw while waiting for his car.
"A talk with our adorable neice, made me think things threw a bit."
"How's Arya feeling about the whole thing?" Hotpie asked.
"She acts as though it doesn't bother her at all." Gendry said standing up and wipping off his hands. "I think she's used to the idea of us having a baby."
"She'll freak out, give it some time." Robb said looking down at the magazine again.
"Why do you think she will?" Yoren asked joining the conversation.
"Because I know how my sister is, she may seem fine, but on the inside she's going threw this major battle on whether or not she should be brave on the outside or freaking out."
"The only thing that's really seemed to freak her out and is fucking with her, is the amount of pink things that have been bought for the baby as of yet." Gendry said with a smirk.
"Right now it's the pink things." Robb said matching his brother-in-law's smirk. "Wait until the first time she has to breast feed!"
"That should be fun to watch!" Gendry said seeming amused by the idea.
"It's not as enjoyable as you want to think it is." Robb said. "The first time Ned ever latched onto one of Jeyne's boobs I thought I was going to puke."
"Why?" Hotpie asked. "Isn't it the more natural option?"
Every guy just stopped and stared at Hotpie for a long time over that comment. It continued until he squirmed under the presure of their eyes upon him.
"What!" He asked.
"Where did you hear about breast feeding?" Gendry asked looking at him like he had ten heads.
"I read it in a book somewhere."
"That's the most insane thing I think I've ever heard come out of his mouth." Lommy said walking past them.
"What that I actually have some knowledge on breast feeding?"
"No the fact that you actually read a book." Lommy said making the others all laugh. "You wouldn't even read the mandatory books we had to read in high school! Why would you read a book about breast feeding?"
"Lommy brings up a good point there." Robb said setting down the magazine. "If not for the fact that Jon, Gendry, and I had made you study, you probably wouldn't have even passed high school."
"The only reason I read the book in the first place is because I was dating Jeyne Heddle and she was expecting a baby at the time!" Hotpie said deffensively. "And besides the book had pictures."
"That makes more sence on why you even opened it to begin with." Weasel said as she walked past them to the car she had been working on.
"Shut up Weasel!"
"Look, if you want my opinion on the matter, I think your all stupid!" She began. "Arya isn't nervouse or scared or anything concerning discomfort towards her pregnancy. In fact the last time I talked to her she said she was surprised with how calm she's been concerning having the baby. It hasn't freaked her out, or made her anxious, or anything, the only thing it's done is made her excited about the fact that she's going to be a mother and that she'll be able to make you a father." She said looking over at Gendry thoughtfully. "And anyone who feels otherwise obviously has not asked Arya how she's been feeling in a while concerning anything to do with her pregnancy other then me, her sister, her mother, her best-friend, your step-mother, and any other female in your guys' family. And of course Renly and Loras but that's only because they're gay and they both seem to think more like women."
"Weasel when did you become intelligent?" Robb asked.
"I've actually begun to dumb myself down sence I chose to work with this lot of morons while paying my way threw college." She said rolling her eyes.
"In all honesty though maybe you should listen to Weasel and less to Robb on this one." Anguy said walking over and sitting down next to Robb.
"What do you think your doing!" Gendry asked he dear friend and employee.
"Screw you I'm taking my lunch break." Anguy said looking at the magazine with Robb.
"Why do you think Weasel's right?" Robb asked turning the page.
"Because she's a female." Anguy said bluntly. "All females talk, and they all know more about subjects like this then we do as guys."
"So Weasel's right then." Gendry said.
"Pretty much."
"Told you Robb, Arya is fine with the idea of being a mother."
"I'm going to have to see that with my own two eyes when she holds the baby for the first time and when she sees her for the first time as well."
"Why are you so intent on seeing your little sister freak out over the fact that she's having a baby?" Hotpie asked handing Gendry a socket wrench.
"Because it'll be amusing if she does!"
"And why pray tell is that?" Gendry asked motioning for Hotpie to hand him a bottle of anit-freeze. "And when was the last time someone's been under the hood of your car?"
"The last time I brought here."
"That was two years ago!" Gendry said shocked that Robb was a bigger idiot then his other three brother's-in-law and Sansa. "Sansa even brings her car by more then that! And she and Arya both know how to do an oil change!"
"Well excuse me for wanting to make sure it's being done properly!"
"You never answered the first question he asked you Robb!" Anguy said taking the magazine out of Robb's hands.
"Alright, alright. The reason i want to see Arya flip out is mainly because of how I reacted when Ned was born."
"You mean like a blithering idiot, who should have never had a child in the first place because they weren't very supportive of their wife while she was in labor for your enormous headed child?" Weasel pipped in causing every guy to laugh hysterically.
"Pretty much." Robb said glummly.
"Don't worry." Gendry said looking over at Robb. "Just remember, your still never going to react as bad as Theon will when he and Margaery have their first child! So you really don't have anything to ever get upset about where all the children are concerned!"
"This is true!" And with that everyone laugh and continued on with what they were doing.
OK sorry if it's cheesy. But on a brighter note we're even closer to the due date of the baby now!
