I woke up to the sunlight beating down on my face and I hissed. I found arms around me and I froze. I jumped out of the sofa and stared at the person whose arms were around me.

"Edward?" I gasped.

"Bella," he said. He was sitting on the sofa and looked so guilty. "Bella, I'm so sorry for that. I knew I should've just left you alone but you were saying my name in your sleep and I —"

"What?" I covered my flushed face, embarrassed. "I did?"

He smiled genuinely. "Breakfast?"

I nodded. "Yes please."

I wore on my heels that Edward probably removed when I fell asleep and took his hand. He led me down to the kitchen and made me sit down at the island in the middle of the kitchen. Breakfast was already served.

Eggs were on the plate with bacon strips and orange juice. My stomach grumbled.

Edward chuckled. "Someone's hungry."

"Very." I confirmed. I dug in straight away and finished in five minutes. I was one to finish my food fast. He immediately took my empty plate and placed it in the dishwasher.

I swung my legs against the chair and frowned. "How drunk was I?"

Edward cringed. "Well... let's just say that you were trying to pull down my zipper."

I bit my lip, hoping to drown into the ground. "That bad?"

"You said that we had to make out after you finish singing."

I gave him a seductive smile. "So do you want to make out now?"

He rolled his eyes. "I would love too, but no."

"And why is that?" I asked.

"One, because I don't take advantage of women and two, you don't feel the same way I do towards you." He looked at me dead in the eyes. I hated facing the truth that I just felt so small under his gaze.

"Edward," I sighed, avoiding his eyes. "We've gone through this already."

He darted towards me and he was so close that our noses were touching. "Bella, I love you." He said in a volume that was so low I was sure that only the two of us could only hear.

"Edward, even if I do love you, I won't be able to admit to that." I told him. "I'm sorry."

I moved my head closer to kiss him, but he disappeared in a millisecond and I was left alone. I felt unwelcomed and blinked, finding myself back in my room in the palace. I stripped down, got into my bathtub and sank myself into the clear water. I didn't know what I was going to do. I felt like I should give him space to calm down. In the end, I did.

"Bella!" I heard Athena knock on the door and my head got out of the water in an instant. "Are you decent?"

"Well... err... wait a second..." I got out of the water and grabbed my bathrobe. I wore it on and opened the door. "Decent!"

"You have to get Edward!" She exclaimed.

"What?" I said in disbelief. "Now?"

"Yes! Don't you remember? The next day after your coronation is your wedding preparations and all! We still have a lot to teach you and Edward. I promise you, it'll be very fun." She winked.

"I'll try and get him." I told her. "He's very busy now." I lied.

"Well, I'm giving you thirty minutes to get him. Meet in your room, okay?" She asked, then walked away. I grabbed my cellphone, drained out the water from my bathtub and sat on the bed, dreading to call the person who probably hated me the most now. I stared at his number.

The perfectly patterned tone made my heart pump fast and loud. The tone stopped and I sucked in a deep breath.

"It's you." He stated.

"It's me." I assured him. I didn't know what to say, so the conversation got silent and uncomfortable.

"If you don't love me, then why do you still stick with me? You can change who my soulmate is. It doesn't necessarily need to be you." He asked.

Good question. "I... I don't know either." I replied honestly. "Edward, are you free right now?"

There was a pause. "Yes."

"There's a lesson or something like that related to our wedding that's happening in half an hour. I don't know what it'll be about, and I need you to come with me." I said. It was still unbelievable that our wedding was still on.

"So you're picking me up." He stated.

I nodded even if he couldn't see. "Yeah. Probably five minutes, tops."

"Is that all?" He asked.

"I think so."

He was about to put down when I stopped him. "Edward?"

"What is it?"

"I think I love you." I said, then put down.
