Two weeks later…

Dani

Dani sighed as she waited to receive separate letters from Taylor, Alex and Sam. She'd missed their company, and was looking forward to meeting them again during the Christmas holidays.

In the meantime, she sat beside Hermione for lunch, in her own world. Hermione, on the other hand, was babbling about the new dangers that could occur from the man they'd managed to defeat.

"…and we could have another Dark Lord on our hands! Dani, are you even listening to me?" questioned Hermione, insulted by her lack of interest.

Dani sighed. "No." Hermione looked ready to protest, but Dani cut her off. "Hermione, we've been over this. He's dead. We made sure of it. There won't be another uprising, so let's just worry about Voldemort."

"But we don't know that! That potion could fall into the wrong hands and-"

"And S.H.I.E.L.D. have taken care of it. Hermione, honestly, you're worrying about nothing."

Hermione was on the verge of speaking when she spotted Ron and Lavender enter, acting all coupley. She glared at the pair, her train of thought gone. "Look at them. They think they're so cute, but really, it's disgusting! Who wants to see two people kiss all the time anyway?"

"Harry!" greeted Dani in relief. If ever she needed a break from Hermione, Harry was the person.

Upon hearing Dani call his name, he smiled and walked over, sitting down beside her. "Hello. Are you two okay?"

"I've got to go to the library," said Hermione, abruptly leaving as Ron sat down.

Before either Harry or Dani could protest, Hermione had left. Dani rolled her eyes. "As you can see, Hermione is not."

"Right. Listen, I need to talk to you anyway."

"About what?" Dani hadn't intended for it to sound rude, but she couldn't understand what Harry Potter, of all people, would possibly want to talk to her about.

"It's about the person you defeated."

"Has Hermione told you about this?" Harry's expression revealed that that had been the case. "Merlin! I told her not to tell anyone! Particularly not you."

"Why particularly not me?"

"Because you have enough to deal with."

"This person is dead, but Hermione said something about a potion-"

"Which S.H.I.E.L.D. are taking care of. I promise you, this potion is nothing to worry about."

"Right. Erm…good. I suppose."

Dani rolled her eyes, prepared to take another bite of her lunch, when her owl dropped off three letters, before departing back to the Owlery. She took the letters and ripped them open, ignoring Harry's retreat.

Hey Dani.

Life's gotten hectic. There seems to be a hit list of supernatural creatures. We all have a number next to our name. I'm not on the first list, but that doesn't mean I won't be on it. There's a Benefactor, who plans to kill us all off, one by one. It's a scary time. December could not come sooner!

How's the magic life for you? I imagine you'll be just as scared as I am, what with this Dark Lord person being everywhere. Well…I say everywhere, but we haven't heard anything about him over here. I guess he's not big in the States.

I'll see you again at Christmas.

Taylor

Hey.

You seriously use owls, and you accuse us of being old fashioned? Seriously, you magical people need a reality check! Couldn't this get lost, or somebody could easily read this. Honestly, you should develop a system where you can send magical letters to each other. In that sense, the internet is far better.

Anyway, I have news. Not much to report, but something is better than nothing. Tony Stark is an insomniac, and he's recently become obsessed with creating a robot that can do his job for him. I've probably watched too many sci-fi films, but I know this is a terrible idea. I can't convince him otherwise. He won't listen to me, and I'm not entirely sure what to do.

I suppose this is what it feels like to see a mistake become prominent. In your world, you must surely see your world crumbling around you, and that must be horrible. To live every day in fear. How do you manage it?

Sam

Hi.

The Doctor has regenerated, again, and I'm not sure what he's like, or how I feel about him, yet. He seems different, but a more sombre Doctor. He's not childlike. If anything, he's confused. It's like he's forgotten what human beings are like. It saddens me, but nonetheless, I'll embrace this Doctor like I'm (briefly) embraced the last one.

Here's my dilemma: Sherlock was almost exiled for murdering a man – it's a long story – but he's been requested to return home because Moriarty is back. I don't know if you've ever heard of him, but he was the one who managed to hack into three of the highest level of security buildings in Britain. We don't know for definite if it's him, but his face showed up on every screen in the country. If it's not him, it's certainly someone as clever as him, and that scares me.

But what scares me more is Dean. Dean Winchester was killed recently, but he's since gone missing. This mysterious Cas is dying, and Sam has left (without warning) to find Dean again. I knew something was wrong with Dean, but he just left. Crowley's behind this. He's disappeared too.

Who should I help? I'll ask Taylor and Sam after I receive an answer from you. Do I help the man who took me and helped me for the past 5 years or so, or do I help the two boys who are practically my brothers?

I honestly need an answer, so please give me one.

Hope life isn't too bad.

Alex

Dani sat, bewildered by the letters. In a hasty instance, she leapt up and ran to respond to the letters, wanting her answers to get there as soon as possible.

Taylor

She hadn't expected Dani to respond to her letter so quickly, but she was happy she had. Nor had she expected any contact from the other two, but in the midst of figuring out who the Benefactor was, it was a refreshing break.

Hello Taylor.

Yours sounds scarier than mine! Sure, we could be killed for our blood status, but in Hogwarts, we're safe. It's the safest place for me right now, thankfully. I wouldn't want to be on a hit list. God, it'd be horrible to find out how much you were worth, or considered to be.

You'll get to the bottom of it, I know it. Then you can go back to being a teenager, and face all those problems.

Dani.

Taylor didn't necessarily feel reassured, but she felt comforted at least that Dani had bothered to contact her. Alex had contacted her too, but that was to deal with a dilemma she was facing. She'd sent back her message, and hoped her response was good enough for her.

In the meantime, she was struggling to have a normal school routine and not freak out about the potential hit list, but she had to, and in a way, she enjoyed being distracted.

Alex

"So?" demanded Sam as she perched on top of the kitchen counter. "What's your decision?"

"I'm going to help Sam find Dean again," answered Alex, as she finally stopped pacing her kitchen.

"That's my girl." Sam grinned widely.

"You'll help me?"

"I really don't want to be around Tony right now. I'm terrified this will backfire on him."

"You could just be paranoid."

"True, but I'm never usually wrong about these kinds of things."

"Wow, arrogant much?"

"I am not."

"Did you get a letter from Dani?"

"Yeah. God, it sounds bad over there. That's why I want you here."

"Aw. Such a good girlfriend."

"I try. Talking of, are we going out on a date soon?"

"Yes."

"Good. I have the perfect place to take you to."

"Um excuse me, I'm taking you out."

"Uh no, I'm taking you out."

"When we did decide this?"

"Now. I'm taking you out."

"And I'm supposed to just accept that?"

"Yes. This will be a nice treat for what's to come."

Alex sighed. "I know. It just hurts to know Dean's dead, again. God, I shouldn't be able to say that! This is fucked up!"

"This is your life."

"I wish I could disagree, but I don't want to."

"Well, at least that horrible past is behind us. We don't have to worry about that potion anymore."

"Yeah, thank God. That's one less problem to deal with."

Sam walked over to Alex and entwined their hands together, pecking her lightly on the cheek. "Let's go, before you change your mind."

"I wouldn't dare."

Sam grinned, leading her out the room.

All four would each embark on journey's they had no clue what would come, or the prices they'd have to pay. They wouldn't know about the tragedies or deaths that had happened, until it did. They wouldn't be able to avoid it, and it would hurt.

They were four girls embracing the moment, because soon, they'd be in way over their heads.

That's it. The story is officially over. Thank you to every single person who read this story. Honestly, I cannot thank you enough for actually being interested in reading it. I hope you've enjoyed it all.
