A/N: Hopefully I can get a few chapters up today, and I think here soon we are going to be nearing the end. Anyways, thanks for everyone who followed so far!
Hermione POV
It took Hermione a second to realize where they were, when she opened the door it looked like just another little shop to her. Now though she noticed the glitter of diamonds, turning her head to Draco Hermione noticed he was smiling.
"You've already bought me enough, Draco." Hermione hissed under her breath.
"Not at all, Hermione."
It was a few seconds before a sales lady came up to them
"Hello you two, is there anything I can help you with?" Hermione looked at Draco, knowing he probably had an appointment.
"Yes, we have an appointment for the Malfoy's" Hermione shuddered hearing the Malfoys like that. She still wasn't used to it, and she loved it.
"Of course! Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy, right this way." Hermione followed behind Draco, admiring all of the jewlrey as she passed, she might hate it when people spent money on her but she was still a girl after all.
Hermione caught a sliver of the conversation a head of her "So you don't know what she's going to pick out then Mr. Malfoy."
"Not one clue, all I know is she can have anything in the store she wants."
"Well here we are then, we can start at this end and she can look through the entire store. I'll check back with you in a bit to see how you are doing, if you find the one you want just come find me." At that moment the door chimed and they heard her going to talk to some other person or people coming into the shop, Hermione however shot daggers at Draco.
"What?"
"I don't like it when you spend all this money on me, I just went shopping today." Hermione tried to reason with him tried to get him to let her sneak out of the shop but he wouldn't allow it.
"I promise after this we will stay in the cabin for two whole weeks." He winked at her, and Hermione almost hit him. Though the though the thought of staying in with Draco and no shopping made her smile, and it was tempting enough that she started looking.
Hermione skipped past all the rings, she was already in love with the one she had. And it was at the braclets she heard herself gasp again. In the middle of the entire display of necklaces there was one that would have made anyone gasp. It was simple, just a chain and a huge diamond, yet the diamond was enough to set the entire thing above every other one. Hermione tried to take her eyes away from it, but couldn't and she was also starting to panic realizing she had gasped, and that Draco was now walking over to the sales lady.
Hermione tried to look at anything other than the necklace, and a few minutes later the sales lady came over to them pulling the necklace out of the case, giving Hermione an envious look.
"Draco, what did you do?" Hermione hissed, if he bought that she was going to hex him into next week
"What? I thought you liked it?" Hermione glared at him.
"Of course I like it! What person wouldn't, but that doesn't mean I wanted you to spend a ton of money on it!" Draco just shrugged and Hermione sighed and gave up, there was no way she was going to win this argument, at least for the next long while she wasn't going to let him buy her anything.
Draco POV
As they left the shop and headed back down the street for dinner, Draco couldn't help but look at the diamond around Hermione's neck. How could he not have gotten it for her? No matter what the price, it looked stunning on her. She of course had tried to protest putting it on right then, but like always Draco won.
He let her walk a little bit ahead of him, admiring this woman whom he loved more than anything. His heart swelled in his chest, thinking about her for too long almost left him in tears. Draco wouldn't have ever admit that before. He was different now though, Hermione had changed him and he was ok with that. He couldn't think of any other life than the one that was starting right here and right now.
