Terry and Dracomon's Adventure

One morning, Terry woke up to start his normal day.

But he knew that today would be different. The first thing that Terry saw when he woke up was his new Digimon partner, Dracomon. "Wow," thought, Terry, "He's a heavy sleeper. And he sleeps like a feline."

He saw Dracomon sleeping like a cat; all curled up. Terry got up out of bed and walked downstairs to get some breakfast. Even though Terry made noises while getting dressed and leaving his room, Dracomon was still sleeping.

When Terry got downstairs, he found his father getting coffee. "Morning, dad," said Terry. "Morning son," his father said. Terry got his usual breakfast, consisting of eggs and toast, which his father cooked up for him.

Soon, Terry's mother came into the kitchen. "Morning, mom." "Morning," replied Terry's mother. "Could I have some bacon?" asked Terry. "Sure," answered Terry's mother, "Although I thought you didn't like bacon."

She only said it to herself, and so she cooked up some bacon. After a few minutes, Terry received his bacon. "Thanks, mother," said Terry. "You're welcome," answered his mother. "I'll be right back," said Terry, running upstairs. "Ok," said Terry's father.

When Terry got back to his room, he found Dracomon still sleeping. "Ok," said Terry, "How did you sleep through all of my ruckus? Ok, now time to wake up!" But Dracomon kept on sleeping. "Wake up!" called Terry again.

Dracomon kept on sleeping. So Terry got out an air horn and used it on Dracomon. "Agh!" cried Dracomon after he woke up due to the loud sound of the air horn, "What was that?! A monster?"

"No," laughed Terry, "I had to wake you up. You slept like a rock." "Ok," replied Dracomon. Just then, Terry heard his mother calling, "Terry are you using that air horn to wake yourself up?" "Yes, mother," answered Terry, "I had to get myself going."

"Ok," replied the mother. "Anyway, Dracomon," said Terry, "Here's something for you to eat." "Oh boy!" exclaimed Dracomon, "Bacon!" Dracomon ate the bacon instantly. "Uh, that was quick," said Terry.

"I was hungry," explained Dracomon. "And yet, you slept like a rock," said Terry, "Anyway, we're going out today and see the outside world." "Outside world?" repeated Dracomon. "That came out wrong," said Terry, embarrassed.

"No kidding," said Dracomon. "Anyway, let's get ready to go outside and explore," said Terry. "Ok," answered Dracomon. So first, Terry walked out of the front door. "Mom and dad," said Terry "I'm going out now."

"Ok," replied the mother. "Bye!" said Terry. After Terry left the house and stepped outside, he ran to where his bedroom window is, with Dracomon opening the window and getting ready to jump out. "Come on, Dracomon!" called out Terry.

"Whoopee!" exclaimed Dracomon as he jumped out of the window and onto Terry. "Wait a minute!" shouted Terry, but too late as Dracomon landed on Terry, really hard. "Thanks for catching me!" said Dracomon. "No problem," groaned Terry, muffled, "But next time, not too hard."

"Sorry," said Dracomon. "All right, Dracomon," said Terry, "Are you ready for our first real adventure?" "Well, yes," answered Dracomon, "However, this isn't our first adventure, in case you've forgotten."

"I haven't forgotten that," replied Terry, "I know." So they walked out to a nearby woods. "Fortunately no one was around so they didn't see you," said Terry. "Yep," said Dracomon. "Hello," said a familiar voice.

"Who's there?" asked Terry. They turned to see that it was only Myradith. "You're the girlfriend of our best friend," said Terry, "Wait a minute, I know you." "Of course you do," said Myradith, "Are you playing stupid?"

"Actually, yes, I am," answered Terry. "He's getting himself mixed up this morning," explained Dracomon. "Well, stop!" said Myradith, "This is not a game. You are a digidestined now." "Yeah, I know that," said Terry, "And I want to prove myself that I can do that."

"Okay then," said Myradith, "Then you have to find an evil Digimon and destroy it. So that you can prove yourself." "Then I will," said Terry. But just as they were about to leave, Dracomon sensed something.

"Uh oh," thought Dracomon. "What is it?" asked Terry. "Trouble," answered Dracomon, "A Tetramon!" Sure enough, a Tetramon popped out of nowhere and begun shooting randomly. "This is one mad creep!" said Terry, avoiding the gunshots. Dracomon and Myradith avoided the gunshots, too.

"Ok, it's time that I strike again!" shouted Dracomon, running towards the Tetramon. "Tail smash!" Dracomon smashes the Tetramon with his tail; breaking it apart. "Wow!" exclaimed Terry, "Dracomon, you are amazing!"

"Why thank you very much," replied Dracomon, "I can't let that brainless hulk go ballistic, that's a fact?" "Yep," said Terry. Then the Tetramon arm landed in Terry's hands. "Yeah, that's just gross," thought Terry, tossing the now dissolving arm away. "You've said it," said Dracomon. "Congratulations," said Myradith, "But you still have to prove yourself."

"Really?" asked Terry. "I have to meet up with Kyason," said Myradith, walking away, "You must prove yourself. See you later." "I will!" said Terry. "I'm sure you will," smiled Myradith before she disappeared from sight.

A few hours later, Terry and Dracomon entered a valley. "So how am I going to prove myself that I can be serious and not be lax?" Terry thought to himself, "That's something I'm going to find out." But he will get his chance right now.

A large bird emerged out of nowhere and started blasting everything in sight. "A mad bird!" shouted Terry. "Oh no!" groaned Dracomon, "Not Ornismon! I thought I've lost that fat buzzard!"

"That's an Ornismon?" asked Terry. "Yep," replied Dracomon. "Should have named it a vulture-mon," joked Terry. "Forget the name!" said Dracomon, "We have to stop it!" "Right!" agreed Terry.

Terry and Dracomon chased after Ornismon. Ornismon responded by blasting black flames at the two. "Get out of the way!" shouted Dracomon. They did before the black flames struck the ground.

"We got to do something!" shouted Dracomon. "Right," said Terry, "we can't let that vulture go wild." "I'll stop it," said Dracomon as he flew up towards Ornismon.

"I'm going to make sure you're toast!" he shouted. Ornismon blasted Dracomon with red flames. "Dracomon!" called out Terry. "I'm fine," replied Dracomon. Ornismon flew towards Dracomon and tried to knock him off balance. But Dracomon missed.

"Baby breath!" Dracomon fire blasted Ornismon, but no damage was done to it. "Dracomon, watch out!" shouted Terry. "What?" thought Dracomon, but too late as Ornismon smacked Dracomon with it's claws.

"Dracomon!" shouted Terry, running towards him as he fell to the ground. "Dracomon!" shouted Terry as Dracomon hit the ground. "Terry, no!" called out Dracomon. But too late as Ornimson fired an orange energy sphere at the two.

"Look out!" yelled Dracomon. Terry reached Dracomon just as the energy orb struck the two. Ornismon chuckled with delight. As the smoke cleared, both Terry and Dracomon were knocked out, but they weren't injured severely. "I don't want to give up," thought Terry, "But what?"

Then Terry stopped as he saw Ornismon chuckling with delight. "Wait a minute," thought Terry, "Do I really want to prove myself that I'm serious? My answer is yes.

I can be serious." Terry managed to get back up. "All right Dracomon," said Terry, seriously, "We are not going to let this vulture destroy everything!" "I agree with you!" groaned Dracomon, "I'm not giving up, either." "Neither am I!" shouted Terry.

Just then, Terry's digivice glowed with intense light. "What's happening?" asked Dracomon, as he began to glow to. "I think," said Terry, "We have to use it now!" "You got it!" shouted Dracomon. The bright light blinded Ornismon. It wasn't too happy about this.

"Now, Dracomon!" yelled Terry, hodling out his digivice, "Use this power!" "Yes!" replied Dracomon as the bright light surrounded him. Ornismon recovered and saw what was happening. "Dracomon! Digivolve to! Coredramon!" Dracomon transformed into a large blue dragon like Digimon.

"You almost look like Kyason's digivolved Digimon," thought Terry.

"Well, I did see him in action," replied Coredramon, "You get the idea." "I do," said Terry, "All right, no more jokes. It's time that we get serious!" "Agreed!" growled Coredramon. Ornismon flew down towards Coredramon, determined to destroy him and Terry. "I think it's time that you roast that turkey!" shouted Terry.

"You got it!" agreed Coredramon. Ornismon blasted Coredramon with black flames from its mouth. "Not going to hurt us this time!" roared Coredramon. Coredramon got blasted, but this time, no damage was done. "Go for it!" shouted Terry.

"You're correct!" Coredramon growled as he flew up towards Ornismon. This time, Ornismon tried to hit Coredramon with its tail and wings, but Coredramon wouldn't budge. "You're toast, turkey!" growled Coredramon. Ornismon responded by blasting Coredramon with red flames.

"I think not," said Coredramon, unaffected. "Go for it now!" called out, Terry. "Right!" roared Coredramon and he broke Ornismon's flames and rapidly punched the giant bird Digimon, beating it up.

Then at one point, Coredramon slammed onto Ornismon's head. Then Coredramon struck one more time. "Strike bomber!" This time, he slammed his tail onto Ornismon's head, smashing a hole into it.

Ornismon roared in pain as broken data burst out of the opening in its head. "I think you need to land," thought Coredramon. He got onto the back of Ornismon, clamped his jaws onto the left wing and ripped right off.

Ornismon shrieked in pain as he fell to Earth. "Time to finish you off, bird!" shouted Terry as Ornismon crashed to the ground with data pouring out of where its left wing once was.

"I agreed!" replied Coredramon, "Blue flare breath!" Coredramon blasted Ornismon with extremely powerful blue flames from his mouth. Ornismon cried in pain as it got engulfed in the blue flames. Coredramon finished his attack as Ornismon exploded.

"You've got it!" cheered Terry, "You did it!" Terry cheered as Coredramon returned to the ground, but not before reverting back into Dracomon.

As the remains of Ornismon vanished, Dracomon cheered with Terry. "You helped me to digivolve to my champion level!" said Dracomon, "Thank you!" "I wanted to stop joking around in times like these," explained Terry, "And today, I proved that I can do that."

"Yes, you have," said Dracomon. "And together," said Terry, "We're good friends, as well as partners." "Right," agreed Dracomon, and the two shook hands.

Nearby, Myradith watch the two as they set off towards the sunset. "Congratulations, you two," she said, "You have proved your worthiness as digidestined." She then left. "Now what about bacon for me," thought Terry. "Some thing never change," smiled Dracomon.
