Guess who works well when she's sleep deprived! I'm so frickin tired. Honestly I should probably be sleeping instead of writing, but who cares? I'm going to try to post once a week or once every two weeks from now on. I can't promise anything, so don't kill me if that doesn't happen.

To the reviews!

the timinator: You have to write the chapters in Microsoft word or whatever writing program you have and when you want to post it, you go to 'publish' and click 'doc manager'. Once you get there, you just upload the chapter or one- shot or whatever it is and then you can post it. To post it, you go to 'new story' and then click guidelines, (this doesn't do anything, but you have to do it to post something). Once you've done that, you choose the category for your story; add the title, summary and first chapter, and then click post. *takes deep breath* never had to explain that before. Anyway. *throws cookies at you*

pinkittwice54: poor Enderlox? I'm confused. And no, you're not allowed to ship me with him. And yes, you will regret it (not really XD). The spider came too close and it got killed. There were no bandages, so the sleeve became a replacement. *hands you ice cream*

LeCustard: yes, I give people food. It just kind of started with a few reviews and now I do it just because I can. *hands you cake* and thank you.

To the story!

(Enderlox's P.O.V)

"What's going on?" Withermu asked, standing a few feet in front of me

"I don't know, something went wrong." Skybrine replied "Her body isn't reacting to the drugs well. It's shutting down."

"We have to do something!" Withermu snapped, glancing briefly at Allison. "This can't happen. You know what the council said!"

I rolled my eyes. "Is the council all you're worried about? I say, screw them," I growled "They're the reason we're doing this! If it weren't for them, we wouldn't even be in this situation."

Skybrine stared at me, his eyes wide. "This is not their fault. If you had just followed the plan, no one else would know about what we were doing and we would have been able to wait a few more days to start the experiment."

Anger shot through me. "Me? I didn't do anything!"

The staring contest continued for another minute or so, then Withermu jumped in.

"Would you two calm down?" he snapped, shooting a glare at each of us. "It's not any one person's fault. There's no point in blaming each other for something that you couldn't control."

Skybrine glared at him. I stayed silent, analyzing what he had said.

Withermu shook his head and walked out the door. He'd given Brittany sedatives and the injections for the experiment a few hours ago. I assumed he was going to check on her.

I shot Skybrine another glare, then stalked away. Anger caused my wings to flap, and my hands to curl into fists. A spider crawled into the hallway. I pulled out my sword and cut in two without really thinking about it. A stream of muffled words caught my attention. I froze, then started walking again, when they stopped. It's probably nothing.

But the sound got louder as I walked. Suddenly, I heard shouting. I looked around. What was I doing near the cell? Had I walked here on purpose? The shouting continued. Confused, I finished my stroll and arrived at the cell. "Who put the door up?"

I pushed it open, waiting for something to come flying at me. The music came out full blast and I saw Maddy sitting in the corner, a book gripped in her hands, her eyes glittering with anger.

"You idiot!" she yelled at the book "You don't just walk into an abandoned building when there's clearly a warning sign and you've been seeing ghosts and dragons all day!" She rolled her eyes and turned the page. She reached down, picked up her phone and tapped the screen a few times. The music changed and the song became quieter. It sounded extremely depressing.

"Having issues with the characters?" I asked

Without looking up, she flicked her wrist and the book sailed through the air, smacking me in the face. I groaned and backed away, holding my nose. "My face is not a target." I growled

She chuckled nervously. "You should know by now not to sneak up on me."

"Ya, now I know." I muttered, checking to make sure that my nose wasn't bleeding

"Well then why did you…" She sighed "never mind, not important. Where are Allison and Brittany?"

"Well, actually," I said, looking up "I came to get you, so that you could see them."

Her eyes widened. "Really?"

I nodded and held a hand out to her. She recoiled, then took my hand and I pulled her up.

I turned, walking out of the room as quickly as I could. I looked over my shoulder; Maddy was keeping up, but kept grimacing in pain. I stopped. "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine." She hissed through grit teeth

"No you're not." I muttered

She didn't answer. I pulled out a healing potion, turned and handed it to her. She took it, but glared at, as if something was wrong with it. "Just drink it."

"How do I know it's not poisoned?" she muttered

I groaned "This again? Just drink the damn potion!"

After another glare, she drank it and rolled her eyes. "Happy?"

I nodded and started walking again. Her footsteps echoed softly behind me. When we got to the testing room, I stopped. "You'll get to see Brittany and Allison after, ok?"

"After what?"

I went in. "I'm going to inject you with these." I said, holding up the two vials

"Why is one of them sparkly? I don't want to sparkle, will it make me sparkle?"

"It won't make you sparkle." I muttered, making sure the machine was working

Maddy edged farther into the room, her eyes narrowed. "Do I just lie down on the bed?"

I nodded "I'm also going to give you a sedative, ok?"

"Ok… why are you telling me?"

I shrugged "I figure that if I were being given injections, I would want to know what's being put into my bloodstream, so…"

She sighed. "That makes sense. What's the white one?"

"Painkiller. That's for when you wake up." I grabbed the two vials I needed and stood next to her "Once I give you these and the sedatives, you'll need to lie on your stomach. Tilt your head."

She tilted her head and moved her braid out of the way. I injectected her and went to the table for the sedative. I grabbed it and injected it quickly. I turned to walk out the door.

"Will it hurt?" Maddy asked softly

I stopped. "Do you want me to tell you the truth?" I asked

"Do you think I'm too much of a creampuff to handle it?" She challenged

I chuckled. "No." I cleared my throat. "Ya, it'll probably hurt a lot."
