Hey you guys! I know I missed my due date but I had a good reason…waterpolo and play practice. Plus I had to get my costume and I had to learn the songs. And blah blah blah. And for the record I did get a little too carried away with the couples, I need to control that. *awkward stare* but I do have good news. Homecoming is coming to my school and this guy on the boy waterpolo team is hinting at asking me so maybe my bad luck is turning around :D. but back to the story.

Two weeks later:

No one had seen or heard from Brad in over two weeks, Audrey and Benson were living in different houses while Abbey hadn't spoken a word for the whole two weeks. Brianna took most of the pain herself, she missed Brad so much, just the thought him out there made her heart ache.

Margaret balanced Lacey on her hip, "Brianna, time to get up for school"

Brianna's eyes opened, she wasn't in the mood for school, "Ok.." She hopped out of bed.

The whole Park family was worried sick about Brad but legally he was eighteen so he was allowed to be on his own.

At the table, the Quintel family ate in silence, Noah was clicking his toy Batmobile, "I wonder if I can put a GPS in and go find Brad"

"Well, he's legally on his own, I think he just needs some time on his own" Mordecai suggested, "Benson's been staying at the park house so I better get there before he piles on the jobs" He kissed the girls then ruffled up his son's hair.

Brianna stirred her cereal, "I wonder if he'll ever come home" She looked at her mom, busy feeding Lacey.

"Messy girl" Margaret teased, "No, formula stays in your mouth, no spitting it up" The cardinal held the bottle.

Brianna suddenly stuffed a paper into her backpack, then looked up, "Ok. Time for school"

Twin Peaks High school:

Brianna dragged her feet to school, the last place she wanted to be, she gave up looking for him at school about a week earlier. He wasn't going to school for two whole weeks.

"Dude. You ok"? Alison asked, walking to her best friend, slinging her backpack on her shoulder.

Brianna nodded, "Yea…I just miss Brad" She unzipped her backpack, "And forgot my biology textbook" She leaned against her locker, "*sigh*

Katy walked over to her friends, holding her chemistry textbook, "Hey Bri, how have you been"?

"Good" The robin lied, looking at her friends, "Gee Katy, how many classes are you taking"?

The cat placed her chemistry book down, "I'm taking Geography, World History, Health, English I, Pre Advance Literature, Chemistry and Geometry"

Alison's beak parted, "Whoa! Are you planning on graduating early"!?

Katy laughed, "Oh no, I just wanna do all the classes so Senior year I can take electives all year" She smirked, "And I don't have to take PE because I'm taking such advance classes"

"Dannnggg" Alison spoke then looked to see Brianna staring at the floor. "Dude, you hearing this"?

Brianna nodded, "Yea" Her green eyes didn't leave the floor. The bell rang making her sigh, "Ok, class time" She walked with Alison to Geography.

Connor was already inside the classroom, sleeping on his desk. "Morning practice again Connor"? Alison asked, tapping his spikes.

"No Mr. Bogard, I'm awake"! Connor snapped up then saw Alison and Brianna, "Oh hey guys. I'm sorry we had Football morning practice, I had to get up at four this morning" He laid his head down making Brianna aw.

"I'm sorry Con" She patted his hand, "Just sleep, I'll tell you if Mr. Bogard comes"

Connor smiled then rested his head again just as their teacher stepped in, he picked up a book then looked up at Connor.

Brianna met her teacher's eyes, "He had morning practice…just let him rest until you start teaching"

"Fine" Mr. Bogard sat at his desk, going over his lesson plans, "But if he falls asleep when I'm teaching I'm gonna drop this book on his desk"

Alison nodded, "Yes Sir" She went through her geography book, "What are we learning today"?

"Whatever I teach today" He went back to his book, smirking.

Brianna seemed too distressed to laugh at her teacher's sarcasm, she kept thinking about Brad, if he was ok, if he was sick, if he was ever coming back.

Lunch:

The whole gang banded together in the cafeteria due to the football players have a meeting on their spot. Patty sat with Katy going over their World History homework, Alison, Natasha and Tasha chatted while Brianna would occasionally add in a few words.

"So Bethany is getting really uptight about our cartwheels" Natasha rolled her eyes, taking a bite out of her salad.

Tasha nodded, "I know right?! I mean we're just Freshman! We only perform at the Freshman games" The fox's ears twitched, "If Courtney Jefferson would just let it go that she's the captain of our team"

Alison laughed, "Isn't Courtney Jefferson a sophomore"?

"Yea" Natasha laughed, "That's a little sad"

Brianna looked at her food, not even eating a bite, Alison looked at her, "Dude. I really think you should eat" The peacock suggested.

The robin sighed, "What's the point"?

"The point is that you have band class and you need something to eat" Alison shoved a sandwich to her friend, "Now eat"!

Tears casually streamed down from Brianna's eyes, she sniffled then placed her head down, hearing her gently weep. Alison let out a worried groan, "Where's your boyfriend?! I'll get him"! The peacock turned to Katy, "Please watch her" Alison walked out of the cafeteria.

The peacock walked down the hallway towards Connor's locker, he was never this late to lunch, "Connor! Hey! Stutter Boy"! Alison turned to see Connor talking to the head-cheerleader of the JV squad.

"No, it was funny because I threw it Rex and Dobler caught it"! He laughed along with the blonde girl.

The blonde girl smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek, "You're so funny Connor"

The green bird backed up, running into a locker, rubbing his sleepy eyes, "Whoa! Courtney"! He yawned.

"Aw, you're too sleepy" She walked to him again.

Connor might've been sleep deprived but he moved away from her as far as he could to get away from her, "No! I have a girlfriend" He backed away again, "I might be exhausted but I know right from wrong"

Courtney smiled, "I've never liked a Freshman football player before" She walked to him.

Connor shook his head, "Stop! I have a girlfriend"!

"She's not a cheerleader"! The blonde girl tried to grab him but he backed away yet again. "I've seen her perform at Varsity games! She's a band-geek"!

"Dam right she is"! Connor shouted. Alison's eyes widened, she'd never heard Connor swear, he was usually the kid to censor himself. "This may not occur to you but I love Brianna and I know she loves me! I don't care if she's not a cheerleader because she does what makes her happy" He glared at her, "If you don't get out of my way with that stupid smelling perfume, I'll just do what I do on the football field"

Courtney giggled, "You're so cute"

"My god Sophomore girls are stupid" He ran past her, "Goodbye Courtney" The green bird ran into the door, "Alison! Thank you lord"! He pointed, "She! She-"

Alison placed her hand on his shoulder, "I saw"! She cracked her knuckles, "Hi Courtney" She smiled, "My best friend may be a band-geek, but you seem to forget I don't like girls who mess with relationships"! She walked up to Courtney.

Connor closed the door, hearing Courtney let out a scream, Alison's punches and laughing.

The peacock opened the door, "Any girl that messes up my best friend's relationships" She turned into the door, "YOU HEAR THAT COURTNEY"!

"Yes Miss Murphy"! Courtney wheezed through the doors.

The two birds walked to the cafeteria only to see Brianna was missing from her chair. Alison's eyes widened as she ran to the table, "Hey! Where's Brianna"?!

Katy turned to see Brianna's seat was empty, "Oh…I think she was…"

"Dang it"! Alison turned to Connor, "She was really upset about Brad"

"Hasn't it been two week since Brad disappeared"? Connor questioned, looking around, "I'm sure she just went to the bathroom"

A Sophomore pushed her way into the cafeteria, running to her friends, "Hey guys! I think I just saw Freshman hop the fence with her bike"!

Alison and Connor turned to each other, "Oh no"!

Brianna pedaled as hard as she could, all she could think about was finding Brad. She unzipped her backpack, unfolding her paper, showing a map. "Ok. Let's see where Brad's favorite spots are" She kept looking, "Ok, he loves going to the market, the caves and the mall and…Wendy's house, Charlie's house" She pedaled, "Off to the market" Brianna rode off.

The Market:

Brad loved to hang out at the market due to his best friend, Charlie, working there all the time. Brianna parked her bike, walking into the store. Surely Brad would've been seen on camera or something. "I wonder if anyone has seen him"? Brianna looked through her phone and found a picture of Brad, "Here. This lady" She walked over to a register lady. "Excuse me"?

The lady looked at her, "Hello there, can I help you"?

"Have you seen this boy"? Brianna held up her phone, the woman frowned, "His name is Brad and I'm looking for him because…he ran away"

The woman shook her head, "I'm sorry I haven't seen him since March when he came in with Charlie"

Brianna sighed, "Are you sure"?

"Definitely" The woman nodded, looking at the picture.

The robin let out a sigh of defeat only to look up and see a camera, "Miss, can you tell me where the bathroom is"?

She nodded, "Yea, just in the back and make a right" She pointed to the back of the store.

Brianna walked to the back of the store, looking around. She opened the door to see two hallways, one was lit up while another was darken. She headed down the dark hallway, holding her backpack to herself, she needed to find the camera room. She lined against the wall, looking around.

"Yea so then I told Stephanie that fruit cake is not a fruit" A co-worker spoke to another worker as they walked down the hallway.

Brianna gasped as she leaned against the dark wall, her head slammed into a doorknob making her wince and cheer, "Yes"! She opened the door and closed it gently.

"Ok. Ok. Cameras" She looked around then looked up at the TV, "Let's try rewinding" She searched the table, knocking papers over only to retrieve the remote, "Ok. C'mon! Please! Please"! She watched the footage go backwards, she went back to two weeks ago, waiting for Brad to appear. She played from that day he ran away, her green eyes searched anxiously. Then a black haired boy ran into the store, running to Charlie at his post, "BRAD"!? She pleaded as she cranked up the volume:

Brad placed his hands against the post, breathing heavily, his voice was hoarse, his face was tearstained, "My parents.."

Charlie felt his best friend's back, "Brad! Brad! Bro! Breathe! What happened"?!

A choking sound came from Brad, he turned towards the camera, sobbing hysterically, "My parents. My parents are getting a divorce! I found divorce papers in my mom's purse along with text messages from a guy named Brian" He dry-heaved.

Charlie knelt down to comfort his friend, "Oh man. Dude. I'm so sorry"

Brad let out a big gulp of air, "The minute they started fighting, I couldn't breathe, I pushed them apart and ran away. I left my little sister behind, Abbey" He let out more tears.

Charlie had never seen Brad so vulnerable before, he always seemed like a tough kid that held everything down. The black haired teen let out a violent sob, "I'm gonna find that son of bitch. I'm gonna find that 'Brian'! I'm gonna kill him"!

The orange haired teen bent down, "Dude, don't. Just go back home and tell your mom what you found"

"No! My dad will never get back together with my mom if he ever found out! I'm gonna find this guy"! Brad stood up, wiping his tears.

Charlie knelt down, "Dude. You need to chill, look this stuff happens, like it did for you and Wendy for a bit. It'll work itself out"

Brad shuddered at the thought of Wendy dumping him in Freshman year, then in Sophomore year they got back together. "I can't stand to see a man that isn't my father have my mom. My dad loves my mom and I can't let this man have my mom" Brad's anger rose as he talked more about Brian. "I have to go"

Charlie stood in front of him, "Just promise you won't do anything stupid"!

"Promise" Brad nodded as he stood up, "I promise"

The orange haired teen handed him a bag, "It has some food for you just in case you don't want to go home tonight, and my house is always vacant"

Brad was already out the door, running again.

Brianna nodded, "I gotta find him"!

Ten days before:

Brad only used Charlie's house to sleep in, he never stayed for anything else. He slid out of Charlie's bedroom window to see the sunrise, he still hadn't found Brian yet but he was sure he'd find his mom in Brian's arms.

He slid off Chuck's roof, landing on his feet, his heartache stung his chest. "God I miss Abbey, and Mom, Dad, Skips, Pops…Brianna.." He sighed, he missed her so much, not a day went by when he wasn't thinking about her. He had seen Wendy every other day, but Brianna was the one he hadn't seen in what felt like forever.

He tried to find Brian's house by hacking into his mom's phone and seeing where she had been going but it was useless. Audrey was going to divorce lawyers, stores and work. He let out a sigh of frustration.

"We can try Mom's workplace but she'll see me" Brad pinched his nose, "but I should give it a shot" He headed towards town on foot.

The Caves:

Brianna hated the caves with a flaming passion, that's where Brad and all his senior friends went to hang out, the caves were these dark rooms up in abandon building. They were called caves due to the fact that if you went up there, it was pure darkness. It was creepy and very disgusting, cobwebs surrounded them, but they had chairs, beanbags, tables, sleeping bags for camp outs.

Brianna walked in, checking her phone, 1:53pm. School was going to end in almost an hour. She walked up the old stairs to the tunnels, the stairs creaked and groaned of the movement.

She walked up to see the senior room was empty, she let out a frustrated groan, this was getting nowhere. She needed to find Brad. "Gah! Stupid caves! Why did I even come here"! She kicked a rock, sending it straight into the other room. "I hate this place! I hate the caves! I just want Brad home"! She collapsed on her knees, angrily sniffling as tears welled up in her eyes.

"Bri"? A voice whispered from the darkness of the other room.

Brianna's eyes widened, "It's you"!

The Park house:

Benson looked and felt horrible, the bags under his eyes became heavier, his yelling decreased, he just wasn't right. Audrey, unknowingly, was horrible as well. She'd cry for hours in her room, she stopped combing her hair, she stopped putting on makeup.

Skips skipped into Benson's office to see Benson, putting pictures of Audrey in a box, "Um…Benson"?

"What do you want"? Benson asked, irritated.

The yeti sighed, "I know you're going through a rough time but it'll pass over. This stuff happens"

Benson let out a deep sigh, "Yea, but as long as she's happy, I'll be happy" He frowned, "I just can't seem to be happy without her"

Skips nodded, "I know it hurts. It'll hurt for awhile but the pain will gradually go away" He sat in the chair as Benson sat at his desk.

Tears welled up in Benson's eyes, "I just keep thinking that I could've changed something or done something to not cause this"

"We all think that. It's ok" Skips agreed, "but if you really think he can't live without her. Then…" The yeti spoke in a determine voice, "Fight for her"!

Benson blinked his eyes, "What"?

Skips stood up, "Go get her! Declare your love for her"!

The gumball machine nodded, "I should! I'm gonna go get her"! He hopped to his feet and sprinted out the door.

The caves:

The robin couldn't breathe, Brad looked so much different for the past two weeks, he had a goatee and mustache with a little beard starting to grow. His brown eyes seemed lifeless, he seemed a bit skinnier.

Brianna tackled Brad into a hug, "You little jerk"! She punched him then hugged him tighter, tears streaming down both their faces.

The black haired teen hugged her closer, "I know! I know! I missed you Brianna"!

"I missed you"! Brianna wept in his chest, "Why did you leave?! Why didn't you call"?!

Brad sighed, "My mom already has a new boyfriend, this guy named Brian. And I'm going to find him and tell him to back off"

The robin hugged him so tight he thought she was going to squeeze out his lungs, "Please don't ever leave again! Please don't do that ever again"! Brianna pleaded.

The black haired teen smiled, "I won't I promise, I'll always be nearby" He ruffled up her hair.

Flashback:

Brianna was just two years old, she was begging Brad to see a Disney movie, she'd beg and plead for him to watch it with her but Brad being seven at the time, Disney Princess movies seemed girly.

Margaret had bought Tangled for Brianna and the little bird seemed dazzled by it. She'd finally cornered him into watching it. Brad sat with her as Brianna sang all the songs but he did find Flynn Rider and the horse funny.

"I wanna have a prince like Flynn Rider" Brianna smiled as she watched Rapunzel and Flynn sit in the boat, watching the lights.

"He's not a prince" Brad replied, annoyingly.

Brianna scrunched up her face, "I mean a boy. I wanna be like Rapunzel"

"Maybe I'm the Flynn Rider to your Rapunzel" Brad rolled his eyes, "I'm questioning all this singing"

That made the little robin giggle, "Ew. You wanna kiss me"!

Brianna hugged him, "Please come home"!

"No. I need to get this Brian taken care of" Brad stood up, heading out the door.

The robin followed, "Then I'm coming with you"

A moment of silence stayed between them, the black haired teen turned to see her, crossing her wings over her chest, giving him a look. Her green eyes were decorated with hope.

"No you're not! You're going back to school which I know you ditched"! Brad crossed his arms over his chest, "You're going back to school"!

The robin shook her head, "I said I'm going with you"

"Stubborn, stubborn, stubborn!" Brad shook his head, smirking, "Fine, but please don't mess this up"

Brianna walked passed him, "Don't do anything stupid" She was already out the door.

Benson and Audrey's house:

Abbey sat in her bedroom, her phone sitting on her desk. Two whole weeks without sending a text, updating anything or even to check the time. Her blonde hair was askew from her ponytail, she let out a deep sigh, "Please Brad, come home" She missed her big brother deeply, Abbey even started sleeping in his room, snuggling up in his bed, looking around his room, seeing pictures, posters, his laptop, his game station.

The gumball machine would trace the route to Brad's future college on his giant country map. Staying in her brother's room made her feel more safe. She would even cuddle with Brad's stuffed animals from his childhood, remembering Brad would place them in her crib when she was just a year old.

She sat on her bed, looking at the ceiling, thinking about her brother and dad. Tears streamed down her cheeks.

Soon enough, music flowed from outside, her eyes widened, With or Without you by U2.

"See the stone set in your eyes. See the thorn twist in your side. I'll wait for you" Abbey raced to the window, her father was leaning against his red car, with the radio blasting this song.

Audrey heard it as well, she walked out of her bedroom, tissue in hand as she saw him, "*gasp*Benson"! She wiped her eyes and slowly smiled as tears cascaded down her face, Benson was playing their song.

"I'll wait for you. Sleight of hand, twist of fate"

"I'm sorry Audrey" He shouted over the music, "I am a workaholic but I'm in love with you"

The blonde smiled, this was the sweetest thing he'd done in awhile, she could forgive him, she loved him. "I am a drama queen but I'm so in love with you" She ran to door and threw it open, running into Benson's arms, "I love you! I'm so sorry for how I acted"!

"No! I'm sorry! I'm sorry"! He held her and kissed her, they shared a passionate kiss, never wanting to let go.

Abbey looked out her window, a tiny smile grew on her face. Those two weeks were the most horrid of her life but thankfully they were gone for good but there was that one thing that lingered, the blonde gumball machine looked towards her brother's bedroom, he wasn't there. She sighed, "Brad. Come home"

Once again, Abbey Road Marin's prayer was answered. Brad walked up the hill to his parents with Brianna right next to him. He saw them embracing and stuffed his hands into his pockets, smiling. His eyes regain their light, his smile became a brighter light. Benson kissed his wife's forehead only to see his son, standing there smiling.

Audrey nearly collapsed, "My baby"! She hugged him tight, "My Sweetheart"! She kissed his cheek, "Bradley! Bradley's home"! Benson joined in the hug, hugging his son.

"My boy"! Benson hugged his son.

Abbey ran out of the house straight into her parents, "My brother"!

"Abbey"! Brad took her into his arms, hugging her tight. The whole Marin family embraced while Brianna smiled as she picked up her bike and pedaled down the hill.

Audrey kissed her son, "Don't ever do that again"!

Later that night:

Abbey was fast asleep in her bed, snuggled close with her stuffed animal. Audrey tucked Brad in, Benson was fast asleep in their bed. The blonde sat on his bed, "I missed you Honey. Please don't ever do that again"

"I missed you too Mom but I had to confess something" Brad sat up. "I found divorce papers and text messages from a man named Brian. I tried to tell Brian to back off and get you and Dad back together"

Audrey smiled at him, she nodded, "Brian's my co-worker, he was texting me because my promotion was due the next day to remind me"

Brad stared at his mom, "I just. I just got upset that you and Dad were splitting up"

The blonde kissed his forehead, "I love your father, and we cancelled our divorce. Don't worry about us Sweetheart" She left the room.

The black haired teen laid back on his bed, staring at the ceiling, smiling to himself. His parents were fine and life, as he promised Lacey when she was a newborn, would be full of adventure.

Wow that was a cheesy ending! Well I tried XD ok yes Briconnor is still going! Don't worry ok? ;) and ladies a little heads up! If you're ever feeling down, try cleaning! My room has never been cleaner, ok anyway so Brad's back home! Yay! Brianna went out to go get him! This was inspired by Paper Towns by John Green. (Great book) ok now preview!?

Noah stared at his sister, sleeping soundly in her crib, "I'm a fricken middle child" He sighed then began to leave until she whimpered then started to cry.

His eyes widened, "Uh! Mom! Dad! Lacey's crying"! He turned then started to panic, "Uh! Crud! Stop"? Noah patted his sister's back, "Please stop"?!

Lacey began to scream, he laid her on her baby blanket. "MOM! DAD! BRIANNA"! He ran downstairs, "Help"!

He founded a yellow note on the stereo, he picked it up, "Dear Noah, your dad and sister are going to the movies and I'm back at the shop. Lacey should stay asleep until I get back"

Noah looked up to hear Lacey screaming, he ran up the stairs, "Uh…Lace…I'm home alone with you" He lifted her up.

He ran into his bedroom, "Here! Wanna read a Batman comic"? He lifted a book to his sister who swatted at it. "What! How could you not like Batman"?

Lacey screamed, flinging her wings, "WAHHHHH"!

The blue jay lifted him up, "Lacey, c'mon"! He rocked her back and forth, "Shh. Shh. They're gonna clean up your looks with all the lies in the books" He sang earning Lacey to cry even harder.

Oh no poor Noah! And yes this will contain some Lacey thoughts! But who will help Noah? Margaret? Brianna? Robyn? Eileen? XD find out on the 27th *evil laugh* I'll try to update sooner because this story is almost a year old! Oh boy.
