Flashback
Ten year old Natalie Wells and eleven year old Yami Motou sat together outside of his house.
"Are you okay?" Yami asked her.
Natalie leaned back against the wall of his house, tracing bruises on her arms.
She sighed. "I hate him.." She mumbled.
Yami's amethyst eyes blinked. "But he's your dad.."
Natalie gave him a sad look. "I know.."
Yami suddenly hugged her. "It'll be okay..."
Natalie looked up at him. "How do you know?"
His hand intertwined with hers. "I just know.."
End
Yami sighed as he watched Natalie walk down the hall with a bruise on her cheek.
She had stopped being his friend out of fear that he would be hurt.
The tri-colored teen was heartbroken, he had fallen in love with her.
He sighed, leaning against his locker and singing softly.
"I'm running out of time,
I hope that I can save you somehow,
If I,
If I had super powers,
I'd save the world and you would be mine, mine."
He suddenly rushed forward, as if pretending that he was a superhero and had strength.
He was about to go up to her, building his confidence.
"Have no fear,
You're hero is here,
My super sense is telling me that danger is near,
I'm getting close to you so I can watch your back,
A villain's on the loose and he's ready to attack, OH!"
Suddenly, Natalie's boyfriend Yatem pinned her to the lockers as Mariku held Yami back by his collar.
"But I'm not a super hero,
I'm not that kind of guy,
But I can save you baby give me a try."
Yami watched miserably as Yatem kissed the girl he loved.
He suddenly felt the strength to push Mariku away from him and running up to Yatem.
He punched Yatem in the face, earning a look of surprise from Natalie.
"Cause I'm running out of time,
I know what I came to do and I didn't come to lose,
So I'll fight until you're mine,
And if trouble comes around, I won't be backing down tonight!"
Yami grabbed Natalie's hand and ran, being chased by Yatem's gang.
"Ohhh, If your in danger,
Ohhh, I'm here to save yah,
Ohhh, that's what I'm made of,
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh,
Give you my superluv!"
The gang caught up to them in a corridor of the school.
Natalie looked up at Yami with a 'just give up look'.
Yami shook his head at her before stepping forward, a brave look on his face.
Natalie's eyes widened.
"He's dead.." She mumbled.
"I've been fighting for your love, for all this time,
What I gotta do to make you mine,
Ain't got no super speed,
But I'm running this town,
You get in my way imma take you down!"
While he sang this, Yatem had caught up and they had gotten into a scrap.
Yatem punched Yami, causing him to fall to the ground.
"I'm not a super hero,
I'm not that kinda guy,
But I can save you baby give me a try."
Natalie flinched as Yatem kicked Yami in the ribs. Yami gasped before standing up.
"Cause I'm running out of time,
I know what I came to do and I didn't come to lose,
So I'll fight until you're mine,
And if trouble comes around, I won't be backing down tonight!"
Everyone was surprised when Yami growled and punched Yatem in the gut.
"Ohhh, If your in danger,

Ohhh, that's what I'm made of,

Give you my superluv."
Natalie's eyes widened as Yami grabbed her hands.
"Can't you see?
We're meant to be,
So come with me and say you're mine."
Natalie blinked.
"Cause I'm running out of time,
I know what I came to do and I didn't come to lose,
So I'll fight until you're mine,
And if trouble comes around, I won't be backing down tonight!"
These words seemed to convince Natalie and she smiled.
"And all you really need,"
Yami smiled.
"Has been right in front of you this whole time,
And I,
I didn't need no super powers,
I've saved the world and now you are mine.."
He took a deep breath.
"Now you're mine."
Then they kissed slightly.
As they did, they knew they both had their happy ending.
