Do not send me reviews about fixing my grammar and punctuation, I'm doing my best with the basics! If it's a very obvious typo That I've stupidly missed then please tell me! I think I have an idea on where this is going... Not positive
Ward slowly woke up, his natural habits awakening him from his slumber. He first realized that, in the dark bedroom, he was laying flat on his back, which he rarely did. Then, as his senses started to clear, he realized that there was this soft, cuddly mass clinging to his left arm. Raising his head, he saw Skye's sleeping form cuddling with his arm, her face hidden by her hair, the dim lighting and his own arm which he couldn't free. How did this happen?
Ward tried to sit up, but Skye was pinning him down. He had no way of getting out of bed, and at 4 am, he was gonna be trapped here for four hours at least, maybe five. He sighed, reaching over and taking the tv remote from Skye's side of the bed and turned the tv on. Making sure the volume was low, he starts to watch the morning news, and settled comfortably into the mattress. He rubbed his eyes thinking, today was Sunday, which meant they had to get out of here at 8:45 and go to Church. It was all part of their cover, unfortunately. Ward was never a big believer in that sort of stuff, but most of the families affected by these kidnap/killings all attended a church, he wasn't quite sure why, but he didn't have a right to argue. He'd just have to get comfortable and force a happy smile on his face.
Skye gave a deep scowl when her slumber was interrupted by a persistent nudging.
"Skye..." A voice whispered as she was nudged. Skye raised her arm weakly and gave a pathetic swat to fend for herself. Then, before she knew it, her eyes were wide open as she screamed, rolling onto the carpet.
Sitting up, she firstly saw Wards left arm dangling over her. And then she noticed that Ward was lying haphazardly on the bed, staring down at her. The brunette girl rubbed her head, having been startled and looked at the clock.
"It's six am Ward! Why the hell did you throw me off the bed?"
"We need to be out of the house at 8:45, so we can be on time for the nine of clock mor ing service" At that answer, Skye groaned.
"Can't we go next week?" She whined, despite being raised by nuns, Skye didn't agree with how they portrayed the religion especially God, their scary wrathful god. So she was ready to put off attending church.
"No. We need to integrate well in the community." He says "So get your ass off the floor and go shower. You have fifteen minutes to a half hour."
Ward slowly got off the bed and ran a hand through his hair "I need to go for a jog, I wasted two hours laying in bed while you snuggled with my arm."
Skye turned bright red, at the snuggling realization but she sent Ward a glare. "Lay off Robot, your starting to grate on my nerves."
Standing, Skye searched through her collection of clothes, some hers and some she borrowed from Simmons. She pulled out a soft Rose pink blouse and long black trousers. The blouse was Simmons, since Skye didn't have a lot of church appropriate clothes. Especially for their cover, if Skye had it her way, she'd go there in a baggy, graphic tshirt and sweats. Collecting the clothes, Skye went into the bathroom connected to the bedroom and began to run a shower. Simultaneously, Ward began to exit the house, going for his jog in a t shirt and grey sweats.
When Ward returned from his jog twenty five minutes later, Skye was in her bath robe drying her hair. He stared at the blouse and the black pants. He then looked up at Skye as she finished, a smile on her face at her accomplishment. She caught sight of Ward in the mirror and placed the blow dryer down.
"The showers all yours" She says, going and grabbing her clothes. She watched him quietly for a moment, taking in his slightly sweaty appearance before he disappeared into the bathroom. The moment he did, she changed and then jumped onto the bed to watch tv, watching the end of an early morning cartoon at 6:25.
When Ward came out ten minutes later, a towel around his waist, he found Skye watching Avatar the Last Airbender.
"Yes.. Yes..." Skye smiled as she chanted in a whisper, watching Katara steal the water bending scroll and then running off. Then her eyes drifted to Ward, who was wearing nothing but that towel. And Skye would never admit it as her cheeks grew as pink as her blouse but he had some figure.
"are you seriously watching cartoons?" Ward asked "At 6:35 in the morning?"
"Shush! You ruined my sleep so you can't judge!" Skye retorts, focusing on the tv screen. Ward sighed and disappeared into the bathroom, this time with clothes to exit not three minutes later in a dark green dress shirt and dark black slacks. Skye smirked as he came and sat down next to her.
"You clean up well." Skye says, eyeing him carefully so he couldn't turn the tv off.
"Relax, we have plenty of time to watch it" Ward says, much to Skye's happiness, and then he saw her socks.
"Skye..." He gestured to the socks "Why is one sock green and the other one white with neon pink horizontal stripes."
"Shut up Robot, your not ruining my fun."
Ok, now. Firstly, I am Jewish. I have once been to a Sunday service at church because my dad is catholic. But I don't remember it. I have been another time for a wedding, and a third time for my friends Quiñcenera. That word is most likely misspelled I apologize! So, I will not go into too much detail on what happens at the church And the service.
And, for those of you who love LAB and LOK, I only watched and enjoyed Last Airbender, I did not want to watch Korra nor could I get in to it. It just broke me to know that there's a new avatar and it wasn't Aang who I loved. So... Sorry, my opinion is my opinion I won't deny it's popular but I don't plan to reference it.
