So you guys probably hate me for not updating in eight months, im sorry hopefully people are still following this I don't know haha, I don't think there will be many chapters left to this story but I will be writing a sequel to it so dw!
The rest of the week went by quick and the four were soon back in Boston as home. Frost and Jane were finally back and college and couldn't wait for it to finish the year seemed to drag. The rest of the term dragged by with exams and sports event which of course they won. Jane, Maura, Frost and Guy had planned there summer already. During the rest of the term Jane had gradually introduced Maura to all of her friends, not having as many as before and some different to the one she had at school. They only had two days left of term before they broke up for summer break, and Jane couldn't be more excited. She had sorted herself out with a better paying job, and had also started helping out at the local animal shelter which had started to pay her. She had done nothing but save up her money. She also helped her mom round the house doing chores managing to get some extra money. Her mom and her were closer than ever and Jane had told her everything. Tommy and Frankie had started behaving more and Jane even spent time with them on the weekends taking them to a couple of baseball games and playing with them a few times. Sitting in Maura's living Jane smiled.
"So all of summer is sorted, im happy, I can't wait. What about you babe" Jane asked looking up to her girlfriend.
"I can't wait either and I'm glad there's only going to be eight of us. I don't think I'd enjoy it as much if there were more" Maura answered with a smile on her face
"mm well don't worry I've got a couple of days planned just for me and you, and we have a tent to ourselves everyone else is sharing so it's all good. Also I've got some portable chargers for our phones to take pictures and such things"
"Oh you thought ahead, im proud. so camping for a week in Florida at Cayo-Costa?" Jane nodded "there is showers there right?"
Jane laughed "Of course there is babe, don't worry I wouldn't take you any place where you can't keep clean and do your make up and hair and everything else you like to do in the morning even though you look beautiful without it all"
Maura smiled, "Thankyou"
"Then our next holiday is...two weeks long?" Maura half asked reading Jane's note pad.
"Yeup, is there a problem with that? It's only going to be me and you"
"No, there's no problem at all, I really can't wait Jane. Where are we going for the two weeks?"
"That I've just decided this afternoon, which I hope you will enjoy."
"Me too aseen as I'm paying for most of it as you payed for the camping"
"Trust me you will like it and I kept it as low cost as possible"
"You know I don't have a problem with money Jane it doesn't have to be low cost."
"Maur I'm not going to take advantage of your money, besides its a nice place. Well...they're both nice places actually..."
"Both?" Maura asked uncertain.
"Yeah I haven't quite decided yet, I thought you could make the finale decision. Aseen as you do have to put up with it for two weeks"
"OK, ill make a decision, but im sure i could trust your decisions Jane. So what are the choices."
"Either a one bedroom apartment in LA, which is bigger than your house, apart form the closet and the bathroom, but it looks gorgeous and its a good price range too, close to the shops and night life and restaurants and anything you could need and its only a ten to fifteen minute drive to the beach. Or, Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco" Jane answered pulling out her laptop and showing her both the places.
After looking at reviews and photos Maura finally made her decision. "I think I'm going to have to go for the apartment, it just seems more us"
"I agree" Jane smiled leaning down to give her girlfriend a kiss.
Four weeks had past and it was finally time for Jane and Maura vacation to themselves. Arriving at the apartment Jane found the bedroom and loaded their suitcases onto the bed before heading into the kitchen. Their flight didn't arrive in LA until 7:30pm and by the time they got to there apartment it was almost half eight. Walking up behind her girlfriend Jane wrapped her arms around Maura before kissing her neck slowly.
"Mmm" Maura moaned. "If you don't stop now I am not going to be responsible for my actions and that's not good because we have reservations at half nine."
"Half nine? Maur are you sure you can ready in such a short amount of time" Jane asked sarcastically.
"Ha ha, the restaurant is only round the corner, five minute walk tops, i only need to freshen up, get dressed and do my makeup" She smiled brightly turning to face her girlfriend.
"So we may get there on time" Jane laughed before been slapped on her arm by the petite blonde. "Hey! alright I'm sorry, let's go get ready"
"Good, Oh I've picked you something out to wear aswell, which is in my suitcase as I know you wouldn't pack anything smart" Reaching their bedroom Maura unzipped her suitcase and pulled out a red button up shirt and a pair of black super skinny jeans and some ankle boots with a small heel on them for Jane.
"Thankyou, I actually quite like what you picked out for me" Jane said with a smile on her face before bending down to give Maura a quick kiss before heading to get ready on the other side of the room.
Maura smiled before pulling out her own outfit for the evening, a red low cut dress with a dipped back. Pulling it out of its clothe bag she laid it on the bed before pulling out her red lacy underwear.
"Maur, are you trying to kill me" Jane said with a devilish grin on her face, before sliding on her own black boxer shorts and black bra.
"What, don't think you can handle yourself through dinner" Maura came back with a smirk.
"I will...I'll prove you wrong" Jane simply answered sliding up her jeans.
With twenty minutes to spare Maura was finally ready and headed into the kitchen to join Jane.
"Wow, you look...stunning, beautiful even" Jane said in awe as she stepped closer to Maura pulling her in for a short passionate kiss. "Mmm, no bra?" Jane half asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well i couldn't possibly wear one in this dress" Maura answered not quite catching on the Jane's flirting.
With a small laugh Jane looked into her lovers eyes. "Make's it easier for later" With a wink she stepped back and grabbed the keys to the apartment before leading them down the stairs and outside.
