I'm so sorry for the wait. I haven't had the time or energy to put into writing for awhile, but instead of making excuses, I wrote a new (confusing/dumb) chapter at like 2 AM for you guys. You're welcome.
The first half of the game went almost exactly as Reize had expected, save for the fact that Raimon now had some potential running through them in the form of a cyborg boy who continuously managed to keep Gemini Storm from scoring about 99% of the time. The Raimon group had even began to notice their habits and had figure out how to read them and figure out their next move.
Gemini Storm had started going faster and faster in an attempt to keep the other team at bay; however, they had improved too much and were now catching up with alien team's movements, even when each and every member had been running as quickly as they possibly could.
The wolf hadn't been put in, which had even been pointed out by Pandora just before the game had even started, when the players were all getting into their positions, meaning they were to be extra cautious if he was put in later on due to him possibly being left out of the first half because he was some kind of secret weapon.
Even without the wolf being put in, the Raimon group was notably better than they had been the last time the two teams had faced, even with having the exact same members as before excluding the cyborg and the wolf. A few of his teammates had gotten to calling them 'the toaster' and 'the mutt', which Reize decided was something able to fit his false personality, but that he would likely regret it if he actually did use the names.
Reize, despite his hidden kind nature, had grown irritated with the match when his team came out with only a single goal by the end of the first half. His fists clenched and his teeth gritted, he simply declared to his team, "Win the game using any means necessary. Win the game for Him." The second sentence had been the major attention catcher in the captain's prep talk. They all were doing this for Him and would win for Him.
While the Aliea Gakuen team was upset with the way the game was going, Raimon was the total opposite. Even Shirou and Atsuya, who hadn't known of Aliea Gakuen until recently, were overjoyed by the way things were going so far. Atsuya was extra pleased when he was put in the game as a forward and told to get the ball in the net.
"Of course I will! These losers don't stand a chance!" Atsuya had hollered enthusiastically upon being put into the game. At first he wasn't doing so well, having messed up a couple times and even allowing Someoka the first goal. Even if he gave the weaker striker a shot, there was no way he'd let anyone but him get the winning shot!
The matched proved more and more difficult as Gemini Storm began to show more and more of their strength. It was helpful having identified a couple of their habits that would show them which direction the player planned on passing the ball, but with the extra strength they were now using it was more difficult to steal the passes they would make.
Before they knew it, Gemini Storm had scored again. Raimon was beginning to get left behind once again. Atsuya was still unable to get the ball up to the goal. It didn't help that he was being taken over by his rage towards the alien team at the insults they all threw at him, aside from the captain who had stuck to calling him 'wolf'. That was strange since the captain had seemed the harshest of the players, but hey it was someone not calling him a mutt or telling him to go fetch the ball, so he couldn't really complain.
Finally, Atsuya managed to score a goal against the opposing team, causing some of the members of the alien team to mutter insults such as 'filthy mutt' and 'dumb flea-bag'. This time, though, he didn't care. He'd been able to score against Gemini Storm, which was all that mattered to him. In a matter of simple minutes, he had been able to repeat this process just a few seconds before the final whistle rang out.
For a moment, nothing. Every player just stood there, shocked by the outcome of the game. Once the score had truly registered to them, Raimon as a whole began to celebrate in what they thought was a triumph over all of Aliea Gakuen. The only female, Touko, had even looked Reize straight in the eye, adorning a confident grin, and said. "You know, Earth has a saying that goes like this: 'The third time's the charm.'"
However, this didn't seem to faze him at all. The entirety of Gemini Storm was glued to the spot, looks of utter shock plastered to their faces.
"You don't even know…" The Raimon team stopped with their cheering as they heard Reize speak. "You don't even know the true terror of Aliea Gakuen… We're only the second class team…"
The members of Raimon would normally have expected words like that to come in a bold, unbroken manner. Reize; however, had both a look and tone of pure horror as he spoke. It seemed to confuse the team, Atsuya even whispering 'Why does he sound so scared?' to Shirou.
Before anyone else had the chance to react, a dark mist had shrouded the field and multiple tall, dark figures stood at the exact spot which it was all coming from. A voice boomed out from one of them, judging by where it seemed to be coming from, it was likely the middle one. Besides, the one in the middle is the one that always talks, right?
"How pathetic, Reize." The voice was deep and held a disrespectful, mocking touch as it called out to the Gemini Storm captain.
"D-Desarm-Sama! H-Have mercy! I beg of you!" Reize, the one who had always seemed to take pleasure in mocking Raimon and had kept an air of boldness around him at all times, was now pleading for the forgiveness of the other Aliea Gakuen student.
"For having been beaten by the likes of mere humans… I hereby exile you and all of Gemini Storm."
Raimon could only watch the two teams as the higher ranked team now punished those in the lower rank. Reize had fallen to his knees at hearing the words the other captain had announced. No one dared move a muscle as a soccer ball was kicked directly at them. Not even when it began to glow a deep, blinding purple. As soon as the light that had engulfed the former team of Aliea Gakuen had vanished, Raimon saw that it had taken the players with it.
Without a single word or even a second glance, the members of the new team now turned their backs on the Raimon members and began to simply walk away, the mist that they had brought receding to follow them as they grew to be further and further away.
Silence followed the departure of the new Aliea Gakuen team; however, it was eventually broken by Atsuya, who said no more than. "They had a second team this whole time, huh?"
"It seems so…" Kazemaru glumly stated, his original cheer and pep having been depleted by seeing another team they would likely have to face.
Not only Kazemaru, but nearly the entire team was a shadow of its former, cheery self. They now felt somewhat discourage. After all, they had just barely won against Gemini Storm, and from the sound of it, this new team wasn't just a bit stronger than the last, but instead was far above the members of Gemini Storm.
A moment or some passed before Endou, being his usual cheery self, quickly began going on about how they simply had to train more to become stronger, which was something that was always able to lift the spirits of his teammates. "If we work harder and keep on training, I know we'll be able to stop this new team! That's how we beat Gemini Storm in the first place, by never giving up!"
The team's cheer was steadily increasing as their captain spoke. Their smiles and their fighting spirit making their way all right back to the group, who all vowed to continue fighting against the new threat and beat Aliea Gakuen once and for all.
And now you may allow your imagination to whisk you away to a wonderful place that allows you to decide the rest of Shirou and Atsuya's lives.
