*First: I do not own any of these names and I do not own Les Misérables, Victor Hugo does. However I wish I owned it.

Chapter 18 – Going Crazy

3.30 AM, 15th of June 1833, Paris

Éponine's POV

I groaned when I woke up from the babies. They were crying for the third time that night.
And it was /my/ turn to get out of bed. I slowly sat up without waking Joly and got out of bed.
I stretched first before walking over to the crib. I looked down at the babies before picking Genevieve up.
Genevieve was definitely the loudest of the two. She didn't want to stop crying so I felt for her diaper.
Her diaper was still empty so I guessed she was hungry.
Joly had woken up during it all and picked Fabian up who got silent once he was settled in Joly's arms.
I looked up at Joly.
''What's wrong?'' He asked.
I sighed softly as I sat down on the bed.
''I need to feed her, but it will take quite some time since she's a slow eater.'' I explained.
Joly nodded.
''I wish I could help you, but I can't.'' He said and kissed my forehead.
I pushed my dress down and helped Genevieve to latch on.
Joly layed Fabian back in his crib and sat behind me so I could lean back into him.
I leaned my head back to look up at him with a smile.
He looked down at me with the same, gentle smile and kissed me.
''I love you.'' I whispered as he looked down at Genevieve.
''I love you too.'' He whispered back.

Sorry for this short, horrible chapter, but I really have no inspiration to write atm!
