Chapter twenty one-broken heart…

The school is open once again. As always during the exchange classes between day class students and night class students, there would be so many students gather around the Moon Dormitory gate. But this time, there was a little different because Zero had his own little secret fan club. He doesn't know about it. Only Yuuki know about this fan club because they always come to find Yuuki and asked about Zero. Yuuki can imagine if Zero knows about this fan club, they all will be punishing by Zero with the detention classes.

Zero just lean on the tree near the gate while he glares at the day class students. He always make sure that they will never cross the invisible line that he draw with his glare. And of course he had no problems to do that. And lately, the day class students don't give him more trouble. What he can say, they is more obedient recently. Mean while Yuuki is struggled to make sure the day class student stay in lines at her side. Just as usual.

Yuuki sighed. It's really not fair. How Zero can control all this crazy fan girls easily? The day class students never scare at her. It so frustrated! "Okay, okay, get in line girls! It's time for your curfew, so get back to your room," yell Yuuki while she blows her whistle loudly.

Zero just frowned. He really hates it when Yuuki blow the whistle. It sound make his head hurt. Just if he can take the whistle away from Yuuki. He sighed and shake his head. The evening wind blew gentle breezes on Zero's face and Zero really likes it. And then, he catch a smell. Zero quickly look at his back and he saw his another side, Ichiru. Ichiru lean on the tree not far from the there. He just glance at Ichiru.

Ichiru just smile when he saw Zero look at him. It's been two week since he enter the Cross Academy as a transfer student. He has his own agenda to revenge Shizuka Hio's death.

A few minutes later, the Moon Dormitory gate is open and all the day class students screams loudly when their night class idols walk out from the gate. Hanabusa Aidou as always will flirt with the day class students as soon as he step out from the gate. Akatsuki Kain frowned and sighed when he saw his cousin behavior. They walk elegantly to their class.

Kaname look at Zero. It's been two week since he last with Zero and still Zero don't remember anything. And also, Zero doesn't come to feed on him. Maybe in a few days, Zero will come to the Night Dormitory. When he saw Zero don't pay him any attention and look at his back, Kaname also look at the direction where Zero looks at. He frowned when he saw Ichiru. Then he looks back at Zero. Wow, they really look alike and identical.

Ichiru smile widely when he saw Kaname look at him and then he look at Zero back before he go away from there. Zero sighed when he saw Ichiru walk away and he look at the night class student. He frowned when he saw Kaname look at him. He glare at Kaname back. He want to scold Kaname but the pureblood don't do anything bad. He just look and that look make Zero feel weird.

"Make sure all the night class students in their class and don't sneak out at night. Huh." Zero just go away after he say that.

Kaname smirked and walk. He can hear a few day class students sighed in frustrated after Zero walk away. He grind his teeth, in annoyance. But why must he feel like that? Zero is nobody to him, right?

"Kaname-sama, are you okay?" ask Seiren who walk behind him.

"I am fine. Just… nothing too complicated," say Kaname while he smile sweetly at Yuuki.

Seiren just bowed. She will never force Kaname. If Kaname say nothing, that's mean nothing she should worried.

In the class that night, Kaname can't concentrate when his mind always thinks of Zero. He look outside and he saw Zero walk to White Lily's stables. He smile a little. Maybe he can meet Zero so his mind can be at ease. He can force Zero drinks his blood. Kaname stand up and look at the teacher.

"I want to take a fresh air for a while," say Kaname without wait for the permission. He walk to the stables where he had gone to since Zero is missing. White Lily is more comfortable with him each time he goes there.

Zero, who has already finished his round for that night lie down on the straws. He feels so tired. He know why. It is because he doesn't feed on Kaname almost two weeks. He need to feed soon or he will lost control of his self. But… there is no way he will go back to that dorm and ask Kaname to give him his blood. White Lily lay down at Zero side and snuggle close at him. She nibble Zero's silver hair.

"Don't eat my hair. I will go bald if you keep doing this," Zero complaining while he keep pushing White Lily away from his head.

"She just missed you," suddenly he hear a voice and Zero quickly look at the man who disturb his little rest. He sighed when he saw Kaname walk closer to the stables and he stop in front of White Lily.

Zero frowned when White Lily don't act wild and bold as usual when other people come near her except Zero. Especially the vampire. White Lily is very sensitive with that creature. Just a smell of the vampires can make White Lily lose control and only Zero can calm her down.

"What are you doing here?" ask Zero, quickly wake up from the straw when Kaname hunkered down beside White Lily and pat that horse head gently. Zero frowned again when he saw White Lily allowed Kaname to touch her. He glare at White Lily just like a boyfriend glare at his cheated girlfriend.

"I saw you came here, so that's why I came. Are you okay?" ask Kaname calmly. He don't look at Zero when he ask that.

Zero glance at Kaname. Weird. "Of course I am fine. It's not your concern if I am not okay." Zero say while he folded his hand.

Kaname give a small smile. He look at Zero. "Of course it is concern me if you are not okay. You are under my care right now. I can't let you feel sick." Kaname said while he observed Zero's physical condition. Zero look much better than before. And he smirked when he saw Zero still use the ribbon that he give him. Yuuki had said that Zero want to cut his hair before but still he don't do it.

He pouted when he hear that. Kaname already say that so many times. He flick his hair away from his eyes. "You should be in you class. As a leader, you must be a good example for your follower. Now, get back to you class, Kuran." Zero tries to changes the subject.

"Yeah, I know. But you also one of it. It's been two weeks and you still don't feed. You will need to feed soon. That's why I came." Kaname walk closer to Zero. He give a signal to White Lily using his eyes and that horse move a little bit to give a way for Kaname to come closer to Zero. Kaname sit beside Zero and when Zero tries to run, he grab his wrist tightly and pull that young vampire to sit on him. He smirked.

"Let me go!" Zero growled. It's so awkward to sit on Kaname's lap. He tries to push Kaname away and sit up but fail. He glare at Kaname while grind his teeth at him. He can feel his face hot and his heart beat so quickly.

"Be a good boy and feed, Kiryuu. And after that, I will let you go. And maybe I will give you something," Kaname whisper close at Zero's ear. He unbuttons his jacket and shirt and tilted his head so Zero will get a better access to his bite area. He don't want to claw his neck because, it will make his blood smell much stronger. So, it's better if Zero bite him.

"But I…"

"Drinks," Kaname cut him off. Of course he has his own agenda when he came to find Zero this night. And since Ichiru is here, maybe it's a good thing he do this quickly.

Zero insist for a while before Kaname push his head closer to his neck and Zero lose control of his self and feed on Kaname, again. He hug Kaname tightly when he feed. Kaname just smile. When Zero feed on him, he can be at ease. He doesn't know why. Suddenly he can feel something, but he don't sure what it is. It's feel so weak but its feel so right. What is it? It just take Zero a few minutes to finish his feeding. He licks Kaname wound close and he release Kaname from his arm. He can feel his face is blushing red. He still want to drinks more but he can't when his pride don't allow him to beg Kaname for more. Kaname's blood is too delicious for him to resist.

Zero want to wipe the blood from his lips but Kaname act quickly and grab his hand. And before he can say anything, Zero startled when Kaname kiss his lips and he lick all the blood that still remind in his mouth. Zero struggle but Kaname is just too strong and he manage to release his lips from Kaname just when Kaname decide to release him. He panted and glare at Kaname. This is the second time Kaname stole his kiss. Damn!

Kaname smirked. "You drink my blood, so I just do what I should do as a price for the blood. It's a fair trade." Kaname let Zero get away from his lap. Zero face right now is so cute and it make Kaname want to tease him so much.

"Huh! Just go and die you stupid idiot pureblood bastard!" yell Zero while he wipe his lips. He still can taste Kaname on his mouth. Oh my god!

"I promise you something, don't I?" say Kaname while he groped his jacket and let out something that makes Zero's face change completely. "I give it back to you. You need it. And… I am so sorry because I take it from you that night. If I give it back to you after the party, all of this won't happen," say Kaname slower. He feel so guilty to Zero when he thinks about it.

Zero quickly grab the Bloody Rose from Kaname. He smile widely when he get his lovely weapon back. How much he missed to touch and shoot with his weapon. He look at his Bloody Rose. Shiny and look powerful as new. It seem like Kaname had took care of his weapon for him. Zero point his Bloody Rose at Kaname's heart. Kaname don't look surprised with his act.

"You think I should forgive you?" ask Zero with a smirked.

"I don't ask you to forgive me. I just want to say sorry. I want you to know it. And… I want you to know something. Start from here, all things will be more complicated. And there is something evil that's going to happen in this school," say Kaname without look at Zero. Kaname just look at the sky and saw the stars and moon. A red moon just like that night. Kaname clench his fist.

Zero look at Kaname's face with a weird look. He take away his Bloody Rose and keep it in his holster. "What did you mean by that? Something evil? What it is?" ask Zero. When he thinks about it, this is the first time he had a normal conversation with Kaname.

"I can't tell you. It still too early. When the time comes, you will know. And that times, you will do you job as a knight and as a piece of chess that is owned by me. That is the original plan that we agreed when I give you my blood for the first time. You will be Yuuki's knight and protector. You must sacrifice you life to protect Yuuki from any danger. Don't forget that," say Kaname before he walks away from there, leave Zero who dumbfounded when he hear all what Kaname had say to him.

Zero miss his grip on Bloody Rose when he hear that and he let the Bloody Rose fall to the ground. Yeah, how can he forget that? Something that important. It's all about Yuuki. Just when he good and kind with you, doesn't mean that he likes you. Zero laugh at his own stupidity. But his laugh sound so sad actually. Yeah, he really lost his mind all this time. Maybe his kidnapper had give him a drug that make he be this stupid. Now, when he thinks about it, why his kidnapper doesn't kill him that night? If he kill him, he don't have to experience all of this.

Zero snuggles close at White Lily. At a time like this, only White Lily can make him feel at ease. Especially when he feels like his tears going to fall on his cheek. What the hell is going on with him? Why must he feel all this emotion? Tears? Only girls will let their tear fall! He need to calm down. It's not like he had a broken heart, right?

Kaname walk back to his classroom and sit on his place at behind the class. No one say anything to him even though they look at him since he enter the classroom. He give an unpleasant aura that make all the vampires anxious. Ignore all the vampire in the class, Kaname just look outside the window and he saw Yuuki in the forest. He smile a little. Then he look at the stables and he saw Zero snuggles with White Lily. Suddenly he feel guilty when he lost control of his cool and say something that he should not say to Zero.

He doesn't mean it to say that even though what he says is the truth. He had ruined everything. Just when he thought Zero already open with him, he broke it. Just if he can control his emotions every time he remember the accident that day.

Kaname can feel his eyes are red and he saw his reflection on the window glasses. A few seconds later, the glass is cracked and shattered. Everyone is startled when they saw that. Everyone already know that Kaname not in his good mood so they better don't make it worse.

"Are you okay, Kaname?" ask Takuma. As always, only Ichijou Takuma who dare to ask Kaname anything when he is in the bad mood.

Kaname just glance at Takuma and shook his head. "I am fine. Just feel a little bit uneasy. I will go back to the dorm. Make sure no one step out from this classroom until the class is over and don't wander around the forest. I will punish them who disobeying the orders personally," say Kaname to Takuma and he say loud enough to make sure all the night class hear his order. He leave the classroom without look at anyone.

Takuma sighed. Maybe he will ask about it later. In private definitely.
