Kagami: hey it's been a while… sorry, with a combo of writer's block, the situation I forced Rin and Len into and me being stuck with an ipad this last week writing for this chapter was…. EXTREMLY difficult. Still, I have managed to write this for I am FINALLY back on my laptop with my lovely writer's block slightly destroyed.

Long story short, sorry, enjoy the new chapter. I don't own vocaloid.

Rin sighed, cleaning the trucks for the seventh time as she ignored the gasps emitting from the crowd as Nazi were being hanged. Len continued helping the man –which she had learned was named Hiyama Kiyoteru- locating areas with Nazi. They had returned to the town they lived in, apparently a few Nazi had been hiding so they wouldn't get hanged. She wished the rain would stop making the roads muddy. One of the trucks has a big dent in it to, so the mud gets inside. That leaves Rin to climb inside, and clean not only the outside that is covered in mud, but also the inside. That is what she's doing now, actually; cleaning the floor, and the passenger seat.

Of course, the poor girl never could relax. One of the Nazi had somehow escaped from the tent. Well… it was a tent. A knife could cut right through it. Still, the escapee had hopped right into the truck Rin was cleaning. She was surprised to look back at Gumo, driving with her at gunpoint.

Oh god, she thought I didn't think he was a Nazi too.

"One move, and a bullet goes right between the eyes," Gumo threatened, glaring at Rin with cold, serious eyes.

Rin didn't know what to do as he drove the truck off the road, and made an escape through a dirt path in the woods. She cussed as the truck jerked when Gumo tried to avoid a tree, and had to hold onto the seat when it happened again as he almost hit a large rock. "Gumo!" she shouted "would you drive a bit smoother!?"

"Shut u- wait, how the hell do you know my name?" Gumo questioned, keeping his eyes on where he was driving.

"I'm Rin!" she said quickly as the truck jerked, practically tossing her into the backseat like a ragdoll.

Gumo was shocked, "what are you doing here!? This is a very dangerous environment for a lady!"

"I know that perfectly well at this point, unless you haven't noticed the situation you put me in!" Rin shouted as the truck jerked to a stop, and Gumo quickly opened the door, grabbed Rin's arm, and practically dragged her away from the now terribly dented truck. Rin reluctantly let him take her wherever he was going, not thinking about what may happen, but more what she wouldn't. She wouldn't fix that car, she could say that now.

Gumo had kept running until he was pre ttysure the people chasing him had given up; stopping as they reached a small field with a lake. Then, he turned to Rin.

"I can't believe what you're doing. You're pretending to be a man; working for all those men killing off everybody. They may just kill you!" Gumo sighed.

"They won't. They won't find out," Rin assured, planning to keep impersonating a man as long as possible.

"That's what you think. What if someone walks in on you changing? Or…or, if your shirt gets wet!? They'll find out, and... their grown men! You'd stand no chance against even one of th-" Gumo was interrupted.

"HEY!" A panting Len rushed over to Rin, "what the heck Gumo! You nearly gave me a heart attack with what you did!"

"Well how the hell was I supposed to know it was Rin!? She looks like a guy!" Gumo guessed that's what Len was so upset about, pointing at Rin's cut hair.

"Just run off before I have you hanged! You caused enough trouble as it is!" Len threatened.

Gumo didn't want to know if Len was serious with threats, or not, but figuring it was about Rin, he probably was. Gumo ran off towards some town without a goodbye.

"We have to get back before they decide to leave without us," Len said, before an idea came to his head.

"Well we better hurry back then," Rin said, heading back.

"Or… we don't. We're back in the town, so we just have to hide out until they leave, and go back when they do. They'll think we're dead," Len suggested, stopping Rin by grabbing her arm.

"But then all that work would be for nothing. Wouldn't it?" Rin asked, looking at Len with a concerned face.

"You honestly want to stay with these guys? Traveling around like this?" Len asked.

"No, but I worked so hard to keep you from getting hanged, and to cut my hair, and to stay with them," Rin said, feeling like going home now would mean all that work was a waste of time.

"Well it wasn't for nothing. If you didn't do that we wouldn't have this conversation now. We wouldn't be having ANY conversation!" Len tried to knock some sense into the girl.

Rin was silent, trying to think it over.

"Or perhaps you'd rather just run away. Like Romeo, and Juliet," Len teased.

"No thank you. I don't feel like dying," Rin sighed "we'll go home"

"Great," Len smiled "so we'll just wait a few more minutes, and then they should leave without us,"

"So, then we just have to kill time," Rin said, looking around as if a board game would be just lying on the ground.

Len thought for a moment, but failed at actually thinking of anything they could do to pass any time.

"hey, look over there," Rin said pointing to a lake.

"yeah, pretty," Len said, going back to thinking.

"You idiot," Rin sighed, grabbing his arm, and pulling him to the lake.

Rin sat at the end, and picked up a flat rock. She looked over it for a second before throwing it to the lake. The rock skipped across the glassy surface of the lake four times before sinking into the lake. Len decided to play along, and sat down. He picked up a rock, and threw it. It skipped across only three times.

"…It wasn't flat enough," was Len's excuse.

"Sure," Rin laughed, picking up another rock, and throwing it to the lake. This time it actually skipped on the surface 7 times before sinking. Len picked up another rock, and threw it out onto the lake. This time it failed completely; making a large splash before sinking. Rin laughed, reaching for another rock. Suddenly though, Len stopped her.

"I have a better way to pass time," Len said, earning a concerned face from Rin.

He leaned in, and kissed her. Rin froze; determining whether to hit him, or kiss back. She decided to kiss back, but before she could someone interrupted.

"What the fuck," the two turned to see one of the British men working with their traveling group.

Rin almost forgot. She looks like a guy, not a girl.

"I-It's not what it looks like," Rin stuttered.

"No…no it's fine I get it. You thought bringing your little girlfriend –she's a girl, right?- would be a good idea," the guy laughed slightly, walking over, and grabbing Rin's hair "I kinda knew it from the moment she walked into our little group, just smilin' at you. I guess it's fine since she's been cleaning the trucks. Just as a woman should!" he pulled on Rin's hair, forcing her to stand.

"Don't touch her!" Len stood up, hands balled into fists as the man forced Rin to back away from Len.

"No, no. It's fine. Did you ever see if she could cook? My, she'd make a fine little worker if she could cook a good meal! Really, Len. You need to share more! Didn't your mother teach you to share your toys?" the guy smirked, grabbing the hem of Rin's shirt, and starting to pull it up.

"W-what!? S-stop!" Rin orders went unheard.

"Quit it!" Len ran over before the shirt could rise any higher than Rin's stomach, and tried to push the guy off. Unfortunately for Len, the man was much bigger than him. So instead of pushing the man away, Len was pushed down to the ground.

Quickly, the man pulled out a gun, and pointed it at Len "don't even try that on me!"

Rin, and Len's eyes widened as a gun was fired.

Kagami: I promise you guys, you won't be waiting as long for another chapter! That is if I don't get grounded…or if I end up going somewhere...or something like that. I feel like such a bad author! I used to update like every other day with, and now it's taking so long! Dang it.
