Chapter 21: Miscellaneous Truth or Dare

Toad Town Studios, Toadstool's Awesome Office, 4:00 PM (time change due to school starting in the Mushroom Kingdom)

Toadstool Nine and Darrel Sharman (that's his last name, by the way…I never got around to mentioning it) walked into the Office.

"Hi, you guys!" said Orange Toadette cheerfully.

Purple Yoshi smiled. "So, how'd the first day of school go?"

"Better than I thought it would," said Toadstool. "I got a little lost in the hallways, though."

"Luckily I was there to help her find her way." Darrel threw his backpack on the couch.

"Our classes aren't really all that far apart." Toadstool rummaged through her backpack and pulled out a pen. "High school's strange…" she murmured.

"What do you mean?" Purple asked.

"Everyone wouldn't stop talking about me," said Toadstool. "Believe it or not, almost every freshman in Mushroom High watches my show!"

"The sophomores do, too," said Darrel. "Some old friends of mine congratulated me for becoming the show's camera guy. I don't see why that's such a big deal, though."

"Hey, you're the one who captures all the action!" Toadstool exclaimed. "Of course it's a big deal." (Props to any real-life camera guys/gals reading this!)

"I guess," Darrel sighed.

"Sounds crazy," said Orange.

"It gets crazier. Some other freshmen asked me for my autograph." Toadstool smiled. "I didn't realize I was so famous…"

"The same thing happened to me," said Darrel. "Toadstool, I'd give it a month before we're the most popular kids in high school."

"I'd give it a week!" Toadstool countered. "Go, Starmen!"

"Starmen?" asked Purple.

"Yep!" said Toadstool. "We're the Mushroom High Starmen! That's our football team. Did you know that we also have a baseball team, the Mushroom High Tanookis? We also have a bowling team called the P-Wings, and a cheerleading squad called the Fire Flowers, and a dance crew called the…" (I just made all that up)

"Okay, we get it," said Darrel. "Can we please go to the stage now?"

"Oh yes, of course! I nearly forgot!" Toadstool, Darrel, and Purple dashed out the Office.

Toad Town Studios, Main Stage, 4:23 PM

"Good afternoon, everyone!" Toadstool sat down in the hosts' chair.

"A little bird told us you and Darrel started high school," said Peach.

"High school?" asked Cream in surprise. "Congratulations!"

"What's high school?" asked Jayfeather.

Toadstool turned to Cream. "Thank you." She turned to Jayfeather. "It's too hard to explain." She then turned to Peach. "What 'little bird?'"

"That quiet Orange Toadette," Peach replied.

"Why the heck would she…" Toadstool paused. "I guess it doesn't really matter."

"And…We're live!" Darrel pointed at Toadstool.

Toadstool composed herself. "Welcome to Toadstool89's Truth or Dare Show! I'm Toadstool Eighty Nine, but you can call me Toadstool. I'm gonna mix things up a bit today. For this episode, I will truth and dare only the miscellaneous characters. So that means…" Toadstool got out a list. "Tigress, Viper, Leafpool, Squirrelflight, Jayfeather, Bloom, Stella, and Flora…stay in your seats. The rest of you get the day off."

Everyone who wasn't called got out of Toad Town Studios.

"This place feels really empty," Purple remarked.

"Okay, so, let's get started." Toadstool got out her tablet. "First dare of the day. We have a dare from dragon19kyoshi for…Stella!"

"All right," said Stella.

"Dragon dares you to make a Superstar using your hands."

"A…what?" asked Stella. Five Mini Stars appeared in front of her. "Hmm…Maybe if I just squeeze these together…No…"

"Well, while she's working on that, let's move on to the next one." Toadstool checked the tablet again. "Now we have a dare from bearvalley3365 for…Tigress and Viper!"

Tigress and Viper looked up.

"Bear dare you two to share your dirtiest secrets."

"Sometimes I watch Po sleep!" Viper blurted.

Tigress stared at her.

"Feels good to get that off my chest," said Viper, relieved.

"Your turn, Tigress," said Toadstool.

Tigress hesitated. "Uh…sometimes I play with balls of yarn," she admitted.

"…Works for me." Toadstool checked the tablet. "We have a dare from bearvalley3365 for…Jayfeather!"

"Hm?" Jayfeather looked up from his mouse.

"Bear dares you to swim with dolphins."

"But I can't swim," said Jayfeather. "I'm not a RiverClan cat, you know."

"That's true," said Leafpool.

"Fine," Toadstool said exasperatedly. ""Step in that puddle over there, then."

"I don't like getting my paws wet," said Jayfeather.

Toadstool shoved Jayfeather into the puddle. Jayfeather hissed in annoyance.

"No need to get testy," Toadstool muttered. She checked her tablet again. "Now for a truth or two. We have a truth from bearvalley3365 for…Tigress! We also have a truth from the same user for Viper, too."

"Huh. Don't think you've ever done that before," said Darrel.

"Might as well kill two birds with one stone," Toadstool replied. "Or an AK-47, whichever comes first."

"Or with a bow and arrow, Hunger Games style," said Purple.

"Or with a swift bite to the neck," said Squirrelflight.

"Or claw swipe," Leafpool added.

"Anyway, the truth for Tigress." Toadstool turned to Tigress. "Bear asks…Do you ever find Po annoying?"

"Yes, but who doesn't?" Tigress replied. "But he means well."

"Now the truth for Viper," said Toadstool. "Bear asks…How long have you been doing ribbon dancing?"

"Since I was just a little girl," Viper replied.

"Now we have a dare from bearvalley3365 for…Jayfeather!"

"Again?" Jayfeather hissed.

Toadstool ignored him. "Bear dares you to get belly flopped on by a sea lion."

A sea lion appeared above Jayfeather. It fell on top of him.

Toadstool winced. "Okay, now we have a dare for…"

"I did it!" Stella shouted out of the blue. She held up a bright, yellow Superstar.

"Congratulations," said Flora.

"Like I was saying," said Toadstool. "We have a dare from bearvalley3365 for…Tigress!"

"Again?" Tigress sighed.

"Copy tiger. Anyway…Bear dares you to go out on a date with Tai Lung."

Tigress stared at Viper, than fainted.

"Okay. Well, I found some more truths, so let's do them." Toadstool checked her tablet. "We have three truths from bearvalley3365 for Bloom, Viper, and Stella. I'll start with Bloom's."

Bloom shrugged.

"Bear asks…Have you ever been to Greece?

"No, but I think it'd be a fun place to go for vacation," Bloom decided.

"Now for Viper's. Bear asks…Have you ever considered Po as a brother?"

"Sure, why not?" said Viper. She giggled. "Yeah, but seriously…we have some nice moments now and then. He's a nice guy."

Toadstool nodded. "And now for Stella's. Bear asks…Have you ever been to California?"

"I wish I have!" said Stella. "I heard it's where all the famous humans on Earth live."

Just then, all the people who left at the beginning of the chapter came back. They were al talk and smiles.

"How y'all doing?" asked Toadstool.

Everyone replied positively.

"Good. Well, that's all the time we have for today," said Toadstool. "See you next time on…"

"Toadtool89's Truth or Dare Show!" said Orange, who had came out of nowhere.
